The filet portabella dip is amazing! Super tender filet, seasoned just right and a side of sweet potato fries rounds out this top choice!

Best patio seating for a summer meal in the Geist area. The Ahi tuna appetizer is fantastic. My wife usually gets the Black and Blue Salad or the Salmon Salad and always has some left over. They give you a good portion of meat or fish. The pork tenderloin sandwich is better than most places, bigger than the bun but not as big as the plate. Thicker is better in my opinion. Can't go wrong with most menu choices, and there are usually specials every day. This is one of our regular stops during the summer.

Went to Eddy's for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. We got to sit outside on the huge patio overlooking geist lake and the weather was perfect. The food arrived very quickly and was pretty delicious for the price. I got the fish and chips and the portion sizes on all of our food were huge. Nothing to complain about here, good solid food and a decent price and great ambiance.

We love Eddy's. The food is great. Everyone in the family has a favorite menu item. The cozy neighborhood atmosphere draws us back again and again. The wait staff is experienced and accommodating. The last time I was there they offered a salmon dish that was perfection. The wraps and sandwiches are great too.

Terrible service from Corrinna. Waited excessive amt of time to place order. Inquired about size of half salad vs whole. Was told that 1/2 is "dinner size," when in fact was a side salad. The two salads (tomato basil & Caesar) were good along with the bar service.

Great family atmosphere and excellent food. We love the philly and the mahi mahi sandwiches. In the summer time if you are out on the boat on Geist, Eddy's will deliver to the dock. Now you can enjoy great food on your boat. We do this once a week when the weather is nice. Dave (the owner) is also a huge supporter of the community. Eddie's was the lead sponsor for Blast on the Bridge and a promoted Worship on the Water, a fun Saturday afternoon event with a great message.

Today was a perfect day to sit outside at Eddy's. We've been here a few times when we are eating with my parents. We were seated for lunch right away. The host did a great job of putting us in a spot on the patio with plenty of shade. We had the little man, they did an awesome job bringing out a high chair that we could turn upside down so his infant seat could fit. I got the jalapeño chicken tenders and the loaded backed potato soup. The soup was rich and creamy. It was thick enough that it reminded me of biscuits and gravy. The soup had a ton of flavor. It was a bit heavy but that's what I expect from a loaded potato soup. The jalapeño tenders are one of my favorite items on the menu. They are an appetizer but Eddy's is used to bringing them out as an entree. You get two sauces with the chicken fingers and they are generous portions. I hate it when I run out of sauce. The chicken fingers themselves have a jalapeño tempura batter. They have just enough kick so you know that there's jalapeño but not so much that a spice wimp like my wife would have a tough time eating them. I got the ranch dip and the buffalo sauce. It helps ramp up the jalapeño spice. This is one of the best options you can get at Eddy's. I highly recommend it. My wife got the club. It's a big club sandwich with plenty of meat and fixings. This is a great spot if you're on the north side of Geist. It's laid back and casual with a solid American dinner options. Service is quick and friendly, so you will feel right at home.

I hadn't heard of Eddy's until I was invited there last night. After reading the (mostly positive) reviews on Yelp, I was looking forward to going. I was surprised how busy it was for a Wednesday evening. This definitely kept our waitress a little busy. I paid attention to what others had raved about in their reviews and ordered Eddy's dip and the Sloppy Joe Nachos. I expected the dip to come out first as an appetizer, but it didn't come out until after everyone's entrees had been served. Someone else at the table ordered the Sloppy Joe Nachos and we both had the same complaint. Not enough sloppy joe. While the nachos were spread out over the entire plate, the meat seemed to be barely more than a large spoonful right in the middle of all the chips. I feel like I probably only had meat on four chips, while the rest were covered mostly with cheese and jalapeños. I didn't eat much. Two others at the table ordered the Sloppy Joe Sandwiches. They both said it was amazing and from the looks of it, they probably got some of the meat intended for our nachos. Eddy's dip was just okay for me. The chicken chunks were so big, they were difficult to "dip". I liked it much better when I shredded the chicken so it was easier to handle. We sat outside where the atmosphere was pleasant and while I usually give a restaurant two chances before I decide whether or not I like it (anyone can have an off night, right?), it will probably be awhile before I head back that way.

Excellent service from Julia today! The white bean chili, turkey burger, and BLT quesadilla, are UH-MAZE-ING!!! Must try! Lots of outdoor seating available and full bar inside. If you're ever in this side of town, put on your list.

Nice casual joint at the Geist Marina. Lots of boaters done for the day on the water. Soups & sandwiches are fresh and satisfying. Outside patio in front is inviting but quite crowded. We found the cooler inside seating to be more comfortable and a nice venue to watch the Women's World Cup Championship. Our server was very attentive until time for our checks. Still, we were less than speedy ourselves so I forgive that. Today's Special BBQ Quesadilla was excellent. Broth based spicy tomato chicken soup was chunky and very good though could have been spicier for me. One of our party had a BLT. A basic standard done well. Not the best place I've been to, but....it's a local bar (and restaurant) at a marina.

Thank you. Food was great, service was outstanding. They even allowed my daughter to bring in a cheese cake she had made to celebrate my wife's birthday! They have a wide selection of beer on tap and in the bottle. The menu offered plenty of selections my wife totally enjoyed the scallops wrapped in prosciutto , Eddies dip was AWSOME just wish there were more chips. First world problems, LOL. To top this experience off, they had a Christmas party with 60 people going on in back room. We and other patrons never noticed an delays in service. Eddies rocked it.

We had the unfortunate event to show later in the evening on Mothers Day. The spicy shrimp carbonara consisted of water logged pasta, rubbery shrimp and no taste. We switched to a safe bet, a medium well done burger. The server apologized, we paid our bill and left. The proprietor was marching around the restaurant not once stopping at the tables to check on the customers. Save your money. Bella Vita is a fee steps away with much better food, service and atmosphere.

Service is great (Stephanie). Jalapeño chicken was spicy and delicious! The spinach dip, however, was the worst I've had: all cream cheese and nothing else. Would return for the casual atmosphere.

Warmer weather means we are looking for good food at places with outdoor seating...and Eddy's fits this bill perfectly. Tables with umbrellas are just what we were looking for today. While Eddy's is not right on the water, you can see Geist and the amazing homes that surround it near by. Food: Good, solid, above average quality and variety, reasonably priced. The Eddy's dip is a MUST HAVE appetizer! I liked the Mahi Wrap -- Mahi Mahi, brown wild rice, cheese, pico, sour cream, and some other goodness all wrapped up in a tasty bundle. Came with a side--I did fries (good as pre-cuts can be, had a little seasoning added). Wish there was more Mahi in the wrap, but I enjoyed the cheezy-creamy-rice type fillings also. Hubs got the Sloppy Joe (HUGE!) and fries and loved it. He said, (and I quote): "Original, from scratch recipe with perfectly grilled onions on top...this is no ordinary Sloppy Joe!" Friends got the Breaded Tenderloin sandwich each--loved it--and ended up wishing they had split it it was so big. 2 lunches (off a regular dinner menu), a drink and a water would run about $20 before tip. Not bad when you just want to sit and enjoy a long lunch. Only snafu: Friend ordered a salad and it did not come out before the meal was served. When my friend just asked to skip it since lunch had arrived, they took it off the bill yet still brought it to her for her to take home. Snafu resolved. Service: we were greeted/seated promptly. Server was generally attentive and offered to-go cups (a plus in my book!). Did take a minute for our checks to arrive--but we were enjoying the company of another couple, so it was ok. Bonus: We went here last summer also (pre-yelp for me) and we brought our dogs. They welcomed our furbabies and brought out water for them. Today there were 2 dogs on the patio as well. We will be back :)

Average food and service, but lovely location and patio scene! I had a burger, hubs had the tenderloin and kiddo had corn dogs. Kids meal was $6.50, which is more expensive than the average kids meal. It did come with grapes and fries, but the fries were old and the grapes were literally muddy. I ran my finger over several of them and it came up all dirty. SO GROSS! Clearly they don't wash their veggies, which gives me doubts about overall food cleanliness.

Nice spot for outdoor dining. My wife really likes the chicken salad on a croissant. I've had the chicken tenders and the buffalo chicken wrap. The chicken tenders were very good. A major plus for Eddy's is that they allow dogs in the outside dining area. It's nice seeing families with their four legged members together.

I hadn't been to Eddy's in a while but we went with some friends last night and really enjoyed it. We started out with the crab-cake quesadilla for an appetizer - it came out quick and hot and cheesy. They always have an interesting twist on their quesadilla appetizer - this one delivered - although I think it would have been interesting if they would have offered a remoulade along with the salsa and sour cream toppings as an option. Our waiter recited the specials AND told us how much they each cost - how nice was that not to have to ask! Our table ordered (i) one of the Chicken BLT Wrap (good balance of chicken, bacon, without too much lettuce and the right amount of chipotle mayo so that it wasn't "drippy"); (ii) one of the Portabello Filet Dip sandwiches (taste was good but I'm not sure that the steak was necessarily a filet?); and (iii) two of the sirloin steak specials, which I didn't taste but it presented well with a baked potato and asparagus - all for under $13. Good food, good value, good service. I like this place better in the summer when you can get a table outside - but it worked out great last night!

I used to like this place, but the food quality is really going down hill. It is obvious that they are not watching over their venders or beating up their food reps enough. Every dish has deteriorated markedly by substituting lower quality ingredients. After having a run-in with the owner over a salad that was beyond bad (Scott), I won't be returning. Sparing the details, the guy is over the top rude, almost unbelievably so. Even his staff was disgusted with him. It is almost like he is purposely trying to run it into the ground. I used to come here all the time and really enjoyed it...but no more.

I've had a new job for exactly 4 days. Eddy's is down the street from said new job. I have eaten at Eddy's twice. To tell you the truth it's not that it's super fabulous that I've had their food twice, but rather that my boss is buying. But it's pretty decent. The Reuben is phenomenal, great flavor on the beef, better than most places and the dressing doesn't suck, which is what makes a Reuben good in my mind. The service, was good the guy kept our drinks full and didn't interrupt, since we were having a "business lunch." The take out was good too, I had the black and blue salad with horseradish cream dressing, UH-mazing. And the real kicker? The place has an awesome patio that looks over Geist Lake...how cool is that?
