Usually every time I come here is great. However, this particular time was terrible. I ordered a cheeseburger and salad for carryout. I brought it back to my hotel and realized that there was no cheese on my burger. Also, the salad was soaked in dressing. It looked like soup. I took it back and decided I just wanted a refund. The manager told me they weren't allowed give money back. She was very rude and snarky. Finally she gave it back but said "all this for no cheese on a burger?" which I thought was very unprofessional. As I was walking out she commented "next time ask for dressing on the side," Like I said, usually I have a good experience here but this really put me off.

Service: prompt and very courteous. Food: diner, but tasty, attractive, and served very hot. Cleanliness: a few bits of paper on the carpet is all I noticed. Ordering: couldn't order a shake because their milkshake maker is down. Otherwise, five stars. For a major holiday, when you expect waitstaff to be cranky and slow, our waitress was super friendly, fast, and extremely pleasant.

Our table was sticky and our seat had food on it. Plus, the carpet was dirty, so we left before ordering.

I should have never went back after my last visit. That way I could have ended things on a high note. Basically take everything positive I said before and reverse it. This time the service was blindingly fast. I literally had my order in front of me 5 minutes after I ordered it. The omelette shell was thick and looked like someone took a chainsaw to it. The cheese to ham ratio of my omelette was way off and it had half the amount of stuffing in it. The hasbrowns were cooked into oblivion, I almost needed a knife to cut through them. About the only thing I can say positive is that my waitress was a true pro. Very friendly and attentive without being a nuisance. In short this Denny's has consistency issues.

So, I have some mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, my son and I had to wait for 10 minutes after being seated for someone to wait on us, while I sat and watched them chat it up and wait on others. On the other hand, the manager was more than accommodating about the entire situation when she came over. I guess it depends on your server on the type of service you get. The food itself was good, but the service was a little lacking.

My fiancee and I just went to this Denny's we had gone to once before. The first time we had gone here the service was slow and the food quality was sub-par. However today we ordered drinks and waited 15 minutes and never received them. However our waitress was collecting tips instead of bringing us our drinks or even stopping by. We were extremely dissatisfied by the long wait to get any service and left.

I've eaten at my fair share of Denny's throughout the world and I have to say that this is one of the best ones I've ever had. The food here was not overly greased. Instead it was freshly made and flavorful. I had both buttermilk and wheat pancakes. Both were fluffy and had the perfect amount of butter. Interestingly, the wheat pancakes were better. Scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection. The omelette was not watery. Hash browns were crispy on the outside and not greasy inside. Turkey bacon tasted like regular bacon minus the lard. If you ever want to eat American Diner food, you've gotta come here.

I read through the other reviews, and have to agree with with most of what they have to say. However, they're older reviews, and recently this Dennys has made SIGNIFICANT strides. The food has improved tremendously in the last year, and the service gets better every time we visit. My wife and I sometimes like breakfast food for dinner, and this is an easy choice. On the non-food items, the parking lot has been resurfaced and striped, the landscaping is new and the building painted. Inside, the place still needs some help, but its A LOT cleaner than it had been. The restrooms still are terrible. The food is much better than it had been over the last several years. I know this is all dependent on the cook in the kitchen, but the consistency is great. Poached eggs are great (ask for an extra small dish so you can drain them), the bacon is always to our liking, the egg white omelet w/ spinach is new and a good option and on Wednesday night, they have a good special on cheeseburgers, which are very good. All in all, not a bad spot. Breakfast competition in the area is thin. There's a Le Peep a couple blocks east and a Perkins a few blocks west, so its worth a look. Lunch and dinner competition is heavy since its near a large mall, but if you feel like a Grand Slam for dinner, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I love Denny's menu. They have lots of things I can enjoy. Their new Baconalia, as featured on South Park this week, really does have a bacon sundae, which looks kinda good. This particular Denny's hasn't been updated in over a decade and it really shows. It's pretty run down. OMG, the men's room. Smelled like a camp latrine. NOT indusive to a healthy appetite. I won't go again

Denny's was great, just like Denny's always is, but the bacon is not that great. The sausage is wonderful, though (that's what she said?) so get that instead. At this particular Denny's, however, the lady at the cashier was rather rude. We asked about the 2-for-1 Grand Slam special when we took the bill up, and she said it was only for the standard Grand Slam. This is not a problem, but then she continued to mock us for not understanding the offer. Then, she asked if we wanted to split the bill three ways. We didn't, but after one person paid, the remaining items were even, so we had the bill split in half. She said something snarky like "well I asked if you wanted it split three ways, and I thought she said no" and that's not even the same thing, lady. I imagine that she would not be a pleasant person to be around in life. Our waitress, Rosa, on the other hand, was lovely. Thanks Rosa!

I ended up here last weekend when I had time to kill on my way to visit family in Muncie. I'd been to this location last year & was severely underwhelmed, but there weren't many places open at 10 am on a Sunday. I ordered the Boca burger w/ sauteed mushrooms & swiss w/ dippable veggies as my side. I was unaware that mushrooms could be completely flavourless when cooked, but somehow, this place found a way. The celery for dipping was broken in several places, limp, and looked half chewed. I can't believe they sent it out of the kitchen. I imagine this is the dialogue in the kitchen..: " That celery looks like shit, man." "Yeah, well, they're at Denny's; they won't know any better. Send it out. It's not like it's fine dining here. Oh, while you're at it- throw some milk in that empty bottle of Ranch, shake it up & pour it in a dish. They really won't know the difference." Seriously, the Ranch they brought to dip the veggies in was really thin, watery, and pretty devoid of flavour. My husband's eggs were literally cold, not just lukewarm, & he discovered upon reaching for some preserves, that the jelly holder hadn't been washed in ages. There were exploded packets of jelly & dried on bits of viscous goo, along with stains & dust on top of the packages. Our waitress also took forever getting to us & barely acknowledged we were there once we ordered, as she spent most of her time chatting with the table behind us. Bottom line: Not even if I was starving would I go here again.
