my family and I LOVE Culvers restaurant but this is a very disappointing location. their flavor of the day is always made incorrectly (according to what the website says the flavor includes). they are always out of novelty chocolate. the salads are brown and seem like they were made over a week ago. food takes forever in the drive-thru but comes out cold. staff always acts very annoyed, even mad, if you have any questions or concerns (they talk to customers like they're dumb). overall, save yourself the disappointment and visit a different Culvers location or go to the nearby Dairy Queen.

I'm so furious, I would rate no stars if possible. Management needs to get their staff under control. Just went here to get food for a late Mother's Day dinner and was expecting something delicious and fast. My expectations were clearly set too high for this location! My mixer was melted by the time it got to my car, my grilled chicken sandwich had very little lettuce, no tomato, and pickles. I ordered no pickles. My soda was flat. My cheese curds were cold. You better believe it that I'm calling management tomorrow and verbally complaining about the service I received tonight. Thank you staff at post road for being absolutely careless and neglecting my requests, while delivering appalling customer service!

Why did you change your tenderloin??? Used to be fantastic and real. No more. Cheese curds are good. Fish not well received by my dad. Shakes were ok. Really upset about the tenderloins. Never again!!!

Went here today for a friend..they just had to have it! I don't think they'll want it anymore. The silly girls working the window were just giggly goofballs not taking the job seriously at all. So I order a shrimp and cod YUCK! I tried one of the 3 shrimp..terrible! the one really small piece cod was soaked in oil what a mess! The lemon they threw in was rotten and black on the rind side I was shocked! because it should have long sense been in the trash! not served to anyone. I had to yelp about this dump! they may serve good ice cream but the bus stops there. You know I'm done.

Culver's is a family owned restaurant that serves delicious fast food items and frozen custard. I first experienced this restaurant while living in northern Illinois. It seems the locations of these restaurants are around the Midwest areas. I've been to 5 locations and they all provided professional and polite service. My kids love to eat here because they get a coupon with their meal that can be traded in for some delicious frozen custard. The food is not a friend to the slender waist line but if your going to cheat, I'd recommend this restaurant. I only experienced the drive-thru at this location in which they took my order with no complaints and my food came out shortly after pulling forward in the one of the drive thru waiting spots. I think it's very effective they keep the cars moving through the drive thru, some customers only go there for the custard so they don't need to wait for a full order to go through just to get a cone of the custard.

Good customer service is hard to find now a days. I had a great four star review of this restaurant, until now. The last few times we have been here the employees were so so so rude. On top of that we like their novelty chocolate. The other locations say that they are suppose to have it everyday. So we call on a regular basis and they never ever have it. The last time we called to ask the employee on the phone said that they are a franchise and they can go by their own rules not by Culver's corporate rules. Well Mr. Sassy pants I am a customer and can go by customer rules, meaning you just lost my business. That was the icing on the cake. The franchise owner needs to get control of this store

I wasn't planning on updating my Culver's review this afternoon. After all, Culver's is a longtime favorite spot of mine after I got to know the crew not long after the Wisconsin-based chain arrived in Indianapolis and my mother worked for the wholesaler who sold the area restaurants their food. My mother has since retired and, in fact it seems like quite a few of the originals from Culver's have moved on. As a chain, they have pretty strict requirements of their franchise owners in terms of how many hours they must actually be in their restaurants. You don't tend to get long-distance ownership with Culver's, because they require their franchisees to actually work in the restaurants to maintain both quality and that sense of family. With another snowstorm on the way this evening, I thought I'd take the opportunity to head out for a casual bite to eat that would allow me to rest and do some reading. I arrived at Culver's and immediately noticed that their renovation was still ongoing. With their familiar blue-and-white decor gone in favor of a warmer color palette, Culver's was clearly trying to move away from a fast food look in favor of a more social and relaxing environment with more woods and a darker color scheme. They'd added a 1/2 wall divider on one side of the restaurant and this wall included a handful of two-person booths. Additionally, the tables were now largely four-tops with the familiar booths surrounding the outer wall of the restaurant. You could see where they'd added stone to one inner wall and were working on adding it to another wall that was divided off for safety. I also noticed that the prices had slightly increased, with my chicken tender value basket (including fries and drink) priced at $7.99. It's not a bad deal, but it's definitely on the outer fringes of what I want to pay at what amounts to a weird mix of fast food and fast casual. The real reason that I'm dropping Culver's a star is, quite simply, because in the process of "improving" their restaurant they've made it FAR less wheelchair friendly and they've stacked the tables in so tightly that it's a little bit overwhelming. There are now only a handful of tables that are truly wheelchair friendly. In my usual spot at the end of an aisle, I'm now sitting with my back to an aquarium and I spent my entire meal being bumped and jostled by those trying to look at the aquarium. Not only is it uncomfortable, it's an accident waiting to happen. The tables are so close together that a wheelchair can only possibly go on the outside, but if you go too far into the restaurant you run into the possibility of getting blocked in should someone use a high-chair for baby or merely have a large party. In other words, it's an absolutely dreadful design and a definite step backward for a chain that prides itself on service and hospitality. While I'm at it, I've got to bring this up. As an adult with a disability, it excites me to no end to see a restaurant hire someone with a disability to work in the restaurant whether that be serving, clean-up, dishes, or whatever. However, in this case Culver's has set this young man up to fail miserably. This man, who appeared to have some level of intellectual disability, had clearly been hired to bus tables and wash them. Nothing else. The problem with this is when he's the only person working the floor and he gets questions from customers that he not only can't answer but he obviously couldn't understand. I watched on two occasions where he was asked questions and he obviously could not comprehend the questions being asked - the customers, once they understood, were understanding but not before they'd gotten frustrated over having to ask the same question repeatedly. In the wrong situation, that sets this young man up for massive failure and a potential customer service issue. So, while I've long been a fan of Culver's I have no choice but to drop their grade due to a re-design that makes life harder for those with disabilities, an environment that is busy and uncomfortable, and the other "intangibles" that truly make me wonder if I'll spend the extra cash to go back.

This was my first Culver's experience and I have to say that I was very pleased. I most closely relate the name to ice cream, but my expectations were far exceeded. The food was so delicious and filling that I didn't even have room for ice cream. I ordered the double Wisconsin cheddar burger with fries and a drink. It was spectacular. I don't believe that I've ever had a butter burger before and I was very happy with my first experience. It was the perfect burger size. I didn't feel disgusting, but I wasn't unsatisfied. The fries are great as well; they are your classic crinkle cut fries. I love that Culver's has bottles of Cholula hot sauce on every table. In my opinion, it's one of the best hot sauces to have available at your restaurant. I can't wait to go back and try one of their fish sandwiches. If you find yourself near Post Road, check this place out!

Affordable food is where it's at, folks! I have stopped at Culver's a few times before (or after) going to Fort Harrison State Park. They have a great selection, including a favorite of mine: the "SnackPak" meal. For under $4, I was able to get a serving size that was perfect. Sandwiches, ice-cream, salads - they have it all. The place was kept clean and our order was processed quickly. All good things. Nothing negative to say about Culver's.

Yeah Buddy! Culvers is always great, what can I say? Folks working here are very helpful and courteous to boot! They make good helpful suggestions and are quick as a whip. This is our boys fav place to get ice cream now and it ain't even ice cream...it's Custard! :O)

Wonderful Fish N Chips! I love Fish N Chips. And in Indy there are several "pubs" that do it well. But not...repeat...NOT any better than this! And I get it often and it's always the same great meal. I know. It's hard to believe. This is hybrid fast food. No waiters but hey no tipping either. The cod is available in two or three piece dinners which come with fries, coleslaw and exceptional unique tartar sauce. The fish is thick. Very thick. The two piece fills me up and at 6', 200lbs that's not easy. What an absolutely wonderful find and Culvers Restaurants are all over the Midwest. Bravo Culvers!
