I typically don't eat at corporate restaurants, but for some reason I said what the hell. Started off with one of their New appetizers. Jumbo soft pretzels with cheese dip. Outstanding! Washed those down with a couple of $5 Margaritas. Can't go wrong with that. Decided to eat off the lighter menu since I ate quite a bit over Thanksgiving week. Had the Margarita Grilled Chicken. GREAT flavor and didn't fill me up. Yet satisfying enough I didn't need a piggy back ride to the car.

My children and me were very hungry and we came to Chilli's to eat. Sitting down, we waited ten minutes for someone to attend to us. It wasnt even rush hour. A waitress came by a while later apologizing but by then I had enough. This is absolutely unacceptable. I do not reccomend you come to this location if you are in a hurry and are very hungry. I always leave a very large tip, so if anyone should ever think that just because I am Mexican I dont give a good tip, that is very wrong!

Always been a big fan of Chili's - starting eating at the original one in Texas 20+ years ago. Been at this location before and it was average at best. Decided to try again and see if things had improved and unfortunately they have not. Arrived just after the Friday lunch crowd - around 1:00pm. Nobody was at the hostess area. Got passed several times - they said hello, but didn't offer to seat me. After a couple minutes, TWO people asked if there was just one person (myself) and if I wanted to sit in the bar or restaurant side. Told them it didn't matter and after a lot of bantering back and forth they told me the bar was open seating and I could just seat myself. Wish this was indicated by a sign or something - could have saved time waiting to be seated only to eventually seat myself. The lunchtime crowd had mostly dispersed but still took several minutes for someone to acknowledge me - they seemed more intent on cleaning tables even though there was nobody waiting for one (entryway was empty). Ordered a medium-well burger w/fries. After ordering, it took a LONG time to finally get the sandwich - and a different wait person delivered it. NOTE: Original waitress did not write down my order - guess she prided herself on "remembering" it. When they dropped it off, the waitress (not my original waitress) said "medium" and left before I could ask if it was medium or medium-well (as I had ordered). Cut the burger in half and blood was running into the bun and turning it red! Finally flagged down my waitress to clarify and was asked "How did you order it?" - to which I responded "medium-WELL!" She said it wouldn't be a problem to remake it medium-RARE! No, I said WELL, to which she responded, "yes, that's what I meant!" Now I know what the problem was!...... Even though I was in somewhat of a hurry, had to wait for another burger to be made. Again, it took longer than it really should have for no busier than the restaurant was. Finally got my burger and yes, it was cooked right this time and was pretty good tasting. Even though things had started out poorly, I was encouraged that things were at least improving. Not so fast!!! My half-hour lunch had already ballooned into a hour and 15 minute lunch, so had my debit card ready when the bill arrived. They have little I-pad-ish kiosks on each table, which the wait staff highly promote. Since I was already in a hurry due to the burger mix-up, I just slid the tip "line" to the 15 percent line and hit complete. Grabbed the receipt and headed for the door. When getting into the car I started to put the receipt into my glovebox and just by chance noticed the total amount - which seemed a little off (high). After closer inspection I realized that the tip amount was more than I had anticipated. The pay at table devices at this location (at least at my table) are VERY suspect! My bill total was $12.62 and I put the tip scale right on the 15% line (yes, I'm SURE it was exactly on the 15% line!) - which I thought was more than fair considering the circumstances. SOMEHOW, the tip on my receipt was $3.22 - which is closer to 25% instead of 15%!!! Now I'm not accusing anyone of deliberately making the TIP scale read high on these pay at the table devices, but I am questioning how (or if) they're ever calibrated. I do know that 15% of $12.62 is NOT $3.22! Has anyone else experienced this inaccurate tipping scale issue when paying by this method? Just make sure you inspect your bill AND TIP amount closely if using this option! BOTTOM LINE - Unfriendly hostess staff, slow and mistake prone service, no compensation offered for lengthy delay (due to THEIR error), and table pay devices with inaccurate and/or questionable tip calculations. Food was decent once they got the order correct, but just too many issues to be able to give a good review. I have loved Chili's over the years, but lack of proper managament, training, and accurate billing methods keeps this location at the bottom. You can do much better elsewhere.

Been coming here many years...and 7:45pm on this Sunday night will be my last time. Received a poor welcome...and no service at all for 10 minutes...decided to just leave. Management what in the world are you doing here??

Wow! Terrible service. Mediocre food. Chilis used to be a decent place for a quick dinner. This location has fallen short. Took a long time to be seated. Then there was confusion among the servers as to who actually wanted to work that night. Took a long time to order. The one bar item had to be made and delivered by waitress because the bartender walked out. Eek! Food was slow coming. It was ok, not great. The unmotivated waitress asked us to use the new tablets (think cheap iPad) to pay our bill because it was easier for her. Hmmm, thought this was a service industry. If I can order and pay on a tablet why bother. Just become a fast food place with counter service. Won't be back. Chilis is going down the pot.

I stopped here twice when visiting Indy for a friend's wedding. Like most Chili's, this place has got something for everyone... the first time we went, the burgers came out cold and our waiter spent most of his time hiding. We didn't bother sending them back because "hey, it's Chili's". If we'd wanted good service, we would have gone somewhere else. The second time, the burgers were fine and our waitress was great. Reasonably priced, mediocre food.

Have been coming here for several years. The staff is always very friendly, the food is good, and the beer is somewhat cheap. I love pretty much everything on the menu. The chips and queso are a great way to start OR the guacamole. The burgers are awesome and the chipolte honey chicken fingers are good too!

I cannot count how many times I have been in this restaurant. When I worked at IOH, it was a favorite lunch locale. Now that I work downtown, I still stop in when I am shopping in the area. The honey chipoltle crispers are a favorite, as is the El Presidente. If you go for lunch, make sure you have a full hour or you will not have enough time. Soup and salad lunch is highly reccommended, as well. They have a new pay at your table service if you pay with your credit card, which is really convenient.

Let me start by saying that I am a very forgiving patron from many years of serving experience myself, especially on a busy Friday night....I also know from experience that they are likely not staffing the bar area with a brand new server so this should be someone with some experience and knows how to handle the craziness that can come with the bar area. If you take a look at my reviews, you will see that it is rare for me to give only 2 stars, I am really hard to disappoint....but wow...did my most recent experience at this restaurant totally warrant it, in fact, I am sure a few in my party would only be willing to give it 1. It was a group of 7 of us that came here to catch up and enjoy one of our favorite chains, Chili's. One positive, we were lucky that a couple tables were able to be pushed together in the bar to seat our number since it was busy that night. Greeted by the server who seemed friendly enough, most of us ordered a margarita and a water. First, drinks took forever but we were able to pass the time talking....I don't know what was going on but this was definitely an omen of things to come. Once the drinks came out a couple at a time and then an additional pause before she took our orders. Thankfully, we got some chips and salsa to help hold us over. Most of our meals came out eventually except for 2....one of my friends let the server know and then they waited...we tried not to eat without them but the wait got excessive, suddenly one of the two missing meals came out but still lacking one....my poor friend finally after reminding the server twice got her meal. It was so hard to flag her down and get anything because she'd disappear from our view for long periods of time. We made many jokes about how we thought we might have to raise our hands for help. As a note, all of our food was tasty, once we got a chance to eat it. At this point, things were awkward between our server and us because she never once acknowledged what was going on yet tried to act like she was our friend when she would stop by briefly. Two of us wanted to place to-go orders for our husbands. I went ahead with it while my friend bailed because of how long everything was taking. One of my friends (the one who got her meal way later than me) had to ask for her to-go box at least twice while I waited for my to-go meal....eventually checks were presented too, all to see that the margarita was more expensive than we expected since we all thought we had ordered their $5 one that I remember pointing to when I ordered. All our server did was show me the menu and show me that was for their smaller size....ooook then....wasn't worth fighting since she didn't care and the price was thankfully not too much more. The way she handled this though was kinda rude and I believe some of her tips got adjusted at this point. My to-go meal eventually showed up and we managed to all get paid and out of there. I have never experienced such awkward delays and moments in a meal even on a super busy night, especially with not one apology from her despite the fact we had to ask her multiple times for things....it was very odd and makes us nervous to visit this location again. My friends are Chili's addicts so I doubt this will keep us away from all locations though! TL;DR - Awkward. Just super awkward.

Another Chili's location, another average experience. The wife and I got burgers and they were ok. Mine was cooked more to a medium well than the medium rare I'd asked for, but that's not too surprising and I can live with that. They also ran out of one of the burger toppings that was supposed to be on my sandwich and, instead of informing us when we ordered or shortly after, just brought the burger out and basically said deal with it. The food was still good though, and our friends seemed to enjoy the dishes they got as well. Service was ok - our waitress did a good enough job keeping up with drinks, but wasn't too friendly and for some reason never cleared any of the empty glasses off the table. Eventually they piled up and made it a little awkward. But hey, I'm nitpicking a bit I suppose. Maybe it's just because I'm not Michael Scott, but Chili's will never be my first choice.

Chili's has always reminded me of my college days. Getting together with friends at a basic American restaurant where there was something for everyone. The food itself isn't especially great, though I am fond of the burgers, but it always seemed welcoming. Now, however, Chili's is likely to become one of my favorite haunts. They have a gluten free menu, other allergen menus and for the first time I've ever seen, a braille menu. I have been a couple times the past week to Chili's and both times I was very impressed with the service and dedication of the staff to my health concerns. They double checked on each of things I was wanting, were patient with the 'hold the...' comments and were all around upbeat. Kudos to Chili's!

Usually a pretty standard trip to chillis. An on a Thursday, not as big of crowd as I usually see at a chilis. Anyhow, I've been a restaraunt bartender before. I know what it's like to watch the bar and tables. But come on! I sit down at a side bar table and the bartender(an older woman) swings around and asked me what I want to drink. I order a club soda (not drinking) and was interested in a quick meal. She's hustles out pretty quick and comes back with my drink. She's then asks me if I'm ready to order. I hadn't even grabbed a menu yet, and said not yet. All fine. But rather than check in with me after a minute or two when my menu was obviously down and away from me, she proceeds to clean her bar for the next 6 minutes. Literally. And it's not like there wasn't a direct 10 foot line of site between myself and her. Kinda annoyed my evening. Ate and got outta there.
