    With being such a pizza lover, I had to try Blaze. Great idea and pretty good pizza! You step up and pick your crust (regular or gluten-free). Next step- pick your sauce (you can mix too!). CHEESE, so many different wonderful kinds of cheese to choose from. You pick your meat and toppings. You can get as many toppings as you want for $6.95. Great concept for fast yet delicious pizza. Only critique- offering different types of crust/ different styles the crust is made would be a plus that some competitors are already offering. Overall, I would go back in a second for a quick yummy meal!

    I'm all about the Red Vine! If you enjoy thin crust pizza, and the "subway" concept, Blaze is the perfect spot to grab a quick bite, especially for lunch because the pizza's baked in like, 2 minutes. They have a lot of specialty options but have MANY more toppings you can add to your pie, like three kinds of olives and pesto drizzle. One thing I haven't tried but several of my friends have: the s'more cookie - baked right in front of you, same as the pizza! MMMmmm

    Blaze is a build-your-own pizza chain that offers both regular and gluten free crust. They make many efforts to avoid cross contamination, that was the first thing I noticed when ordering my food. The toppings are laid out in a fashion similar to Subway or Chipotle, with many different sauce and cheese options too! I wasnt terribly impressed with the gluten free crust, but the control they give you over your own toppings is worth overlooking that. Be aware that this place gets totally nuts around lunch time, and the plaza its in has pretty hectic parking.

    My favorite Blaze pizza is the signature Red Vine, which comes with red sauce, fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, basil, and olive oil drizzle...with added roasted garlic cloves, of course. The Red Vine is fresh and bright tasting, and not overloaded with non-essential toppings. Blaze tends to get very busy during the weekday lunch hour, with IUPUI and hospital employees/students crammed into the space. I recommend visiting before 11:30 AM or after 1 PM, if you don't want to feel rushed or get death-glares for occupying a table too long. Blaze's staff has always been friendly and courteous with me. I've never received slow or rude service. There have been times an ingredient has been out, but the staff is typically ready to offer a sub recommendation. Although it is fast casual, the pizza oven does take a little longer than expected (especially when the pizza paddle person has 10-15 pizzas to navigate). I don't mind the wait; it gives me time to scope out a seat and gather a shaker of cracked red pepper. The prices are very reasonable, for the size and quality of pie that you receive. Don't fool yourself into thinking Blaze is any healthier than other pizza locations; the ingredients may be more diverse, fresh, and free to add on, but the nutritional value is fairly similar to a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.

    Their pizza is still delicious, but boy oh boy do I hate coming here. They've been open for over a year now and the place is still as slow as ever. And it's not time spent waiting for the pizza to come out of the oven - it's the four people working the line that can't get toppings on in a timely fashion! If I can place an online order at Papa Johns and pick it up fifteen minutes later, then why does it take me twice as long to get through a line of eight people? The workers just have no sense of urgency. I mentioned it in my previous review, hoping it was just because the place was still pretty new, but it still holds true today. Like I said, their pizza is delicious, but if my wife didn't love coming here so much I'd never be back for lunch. Or probably dinner.

    I am still reeling form the fact that I got a personalized pizza with loads of stuff on it for 7.25$+ tax, made to order, 5-10 minutes from walking in the door to walking out with a pizza... wow... and even more surprising, it's good, really good ... and filling. Somebody wrote in their review that it is 7 inches, but I believe it's actually 11 inches.

    Fast-fired pizza served quick and delicious. You get exactly the toppings you want, per your request for about $8 with tax. You can't beat that. All ingredients are fresh and on display in front of you! I usually visit in the evenings, but went in on my lunch break one day. The line was out the door, all seats were taken and it was louder than usual. But that's what I would expect for any of the restaurants that close to IUPUI and Ezkenazi to be so I don't hold it against them. There is free wifi and I was able to work while I waited. As for the pizza itself, it was fabulous. I would like a little more sauce, but no other complaints. I love the blood orange lemonade. It's just the right balance of sweet and sour. Plus, if you dine in, free refills!!!

    Yay Blaze! If Yelp wouldn't yell at me, that'd be my entire review! I LOVE this place! They're friendly, happy, attentive and their pizza is fantabulous! For an average of $7, you can get your own, fully customized pizza that's ready for you in 5-6 minutes. Because it's set up like Subway or Sushi Boss, you can choose your own sauce and toppings making a pizza that fits your personality and tastebuds. They have some house pizzas that you can choose from as well if your pizza creativity has tuckered out. Now... I have to make a separate section to address a very important detail that is individual to Blaze. That detail is... ...Blood Orange Lemonade. You don't understand. I'm not even being dramatic when I say that the blood orange lemonade is hand squeezed by angels and cherubs riding unicorns through wildflower fields watered by waterfalls made of nectar. Listen. I've never had a non-alcoholic beverage change my life, but this made me need to reevaluate my beverage buying history. I've been changed. The lemonade changed me. Thank you, Blaze, for allowing me the opportunity to partake in all of your wonderfulness.

    I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Upon walking in, the smells from the pizza oven enraptured my taste buds. The menu had a variety of specialty pizzas but if you're feeling creative, you can build your own. I had the Link In, which has sausage and I added fresh cut grape tomatoes, it was heavenly. Just the right amount of spicy and sauce was extra fresh, not from a can. My cousin had cheese and pepperoni and she loved it just as much as I did. I wish they had this close to home, I would probably go at least once a week... bring it to Miami! Cheers

    This place is such a good bang for the buck! The personal sized pizzas have such craftsmanship and creativity that I'm almost certain that I would have difficulty finding anything on their menu that I don't like. I've tried many of them and have loved each and every one. Not to mention how quickly the food comes out. Since it's fast fired, it is done within just a few minutes. The size of the pizzas is perfect for 1 person if you're feeling pretty hungry, or great to share for more of a snack. To add to the greatness of it all, it's conveniently located a couple blocks from me near the IUPUI campus.

    Blaze is delicious! Coming from Chicago, it is hard to find tasty pizza in Indiana (national chain or otherwise). Blaze is no deep dish Chicago pizza place (quite the opposite), but it is an amazing concept. It is like Subway for pizzas. For less than $8, you get a large personal size pizza that you can get unlimited (fresh) toppings on! They have some menu pizzas that you can order, but the best thing to do is build your own. It's pretty awesome that the price is the same no matter if you get one topping or every single one they offer. The staff is always really fun and friendly. I even got a free pizza one day because one of the workers said it was his random act of kindness for the day! The one complaint I have about this particular location is that the seating is pretty bad for such a busy location. It's really difficult to find seating, especially if you come with more than one other person. You'll usually have to make buddies with other customers and sit with them at the larger tables. I work close to Blaze, and my coworkers and I never turn down an opportunity to visit Blaze!

    Delicious pizza joint my daughter, my mom, my niece, and I ate at just now for dinner! Mom and I shared a 11" Red Vine pizza with spicy red sauce and extra toppings of our choice. My daughter and my niece shared a 11" with regular red sauce half just cheese and half with pepperoni. We each got a hot S'Mores cookie and we all drank the delicious Blood Orange Lemonade. Extra friendly atmosphere, very clean and inviting! Staff was extra nice and pizza was done within mins...before we even sat ourselves. Metamora, IL needs a "Blaze Pizza" joint!!!

    I love Blaze! It is fast food that tastes nothing like fast food. :) Highlights: +You can order online! +You get a made-to-order pizza in less than 5 minutes! +Generous portions (6 slices of thin crust goodness in each personal pizza) +Minimalist, modern decor for a fast food pizza joint! +Reasonably priced (between $6-8) +Quality ingredients +Lots of highchairs + a changing table in the women's restroom (haven't checked the mens!) +BOGO coupon in this week's NUVO Summer City Guide (May 2015)! Lowlights: -Whole wheat crust is the only menu option I'm missing here! -I only wish they had an outdoor dining option - even though none of the spots in this strip do!

    If you live or work near IUPUI, this place is great. It's like subway or qdoba where they put the toppings on as you watch and request them. You can, for a flat rate, get as many toppings as you want and the options are diverse. Give or so cheeses, all the meats you can think of, and tasty spices as well. I love it! $5 cheese pizza or $7 all-item pizza. They are flatbread but give you about six inches and unless I am starving I can never finish one - it's a bit more than a personal size pizza but also not large enough for sharing. leftovers work out well, tho!

    I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet.... OMG! I love the build your own option. I love the speed... I'm trying to not make this whole review about a beverage but GOOD LAWD.... BLOOD.ORANGE.LEMONADE! This stuff had to be what Jesus really turned water into. If I could get it in an I.V, I would. If I could buy it by the gallon, I would. If I could just walk around with that taste in my mouth all day, I would. If it was available to everyone, the world would know peace. I'd return because the pizza is great by the real reason is because I'm hooked on blood orange lemonade... Somebody please stage an intervention.

    lI'm going to give it four stars based on the concept, the food is more like three stars. But the simple fact that you can have a pizza with everything on it it's one flat rate is downright amazing, most the time that's how these pizza chains make all their money. So the idea of unlimited toppings and trying things you never been able to try before is pretty much awesome! I'm surprise more these haven't popped up around the city versus just in a college town area. But if you're in a hurry and want really good fast food/pizza this is the spot!

    This place is making awesome pizza. If you haven't been yet, go! Quick fired (maybe 5 minutes?), thin crust, great portion size for the $7-8 price, and fantastic flavor! Ordered the Veg Out and could eat this literally everyday...if only my metabolism could keep up! When the guy asks if you want sea salt and oregano, don't think, just say yes. Will definitely be back!

    It's hard to consider pizza fast food. At most places, there's a 10-15 minute wait for a pizza if you want it fresh. Who has time for that when you're in a hurry? This is where Blaze comes in handy. Walk in, order your pizza from a selection or create your own. You'll pay about $7 for a build your own with as many toppings as you want. The dough is pressed fresh as you order. Toppings are thrown on top, and it goes into a blazing hot over for 3 minutes. That's right.. freshly prepared pizza in the same time it takes to get your fast food meal. I asked for a suggestion and was told the White top was delicious. The thin crusted pizza dough mixes white cream sauce with mozzarella, applewood bacon, chopped garlic, oregano, and arugula. Delicious! Because I was a newbie, I also went for the beet and goat cheese salad. As I sat down, I noticed the salad I grabbed from the pre-made selections had expired the day before. I took it back up and traded it out for a new one, which looked much better than the one I previously chose. The salad was so/so.. It should have been called an arugula salad with beets and goat cheese. Far too much arugula and way too few pieces of beet. I barely saw the goat cheese. Definitely come here for the pizza and skip the salads. If you're feeling up to it, try the Blood Orange Lemonade!

    What to say about Blaze !!!!??? First of all, there is a producer in the hip hop world called Just Blaze. Every time I walk into Blaze Fast Pizza, I hear his voice yelling "JUST BLAZE" over the top of a song. Since I was told about Blaze, which was essentially about 2.5 weeks ago, I have been several times. I love them. They have pizza's that you can order or they have the Build Your Own option, which in my opinion is the best option available. The price rounds out at about $8 for unlimited toppings on an 11 inch pizza. There is enough to eat, share and save for later depending on what type of appetite you are working with. They are VERY worth the price. The pizza goes in the fire oven and comes out in 180 seconds, of which they slice it and put it in a box for you to take home (or you can always dine in and have unlimited Blood Orange Lemonade refills...more to come about that lemonade). I have yet to dine in. Now about the toppings: When you walk into Blaze, you will notice how one might liken it to the "Penn Station" of Pizza. I would have said subway but I hate subway so I won't compare a five star fast food spot to a 0 star submarine failure. But I digress..... There are LOTS of toppings to choose from and they sit sandwich shop style, each in their own little silver containers awaiting to be picked to add on top of your pizza. They have different sauces, cheeses, an array of vegetables including sliced and sauteed onions, chopped and roasted garlic and tomatoes, basil and spinach, plus there are several more silvery containers full of yummy goodness. The fact that you can add as many of these toppings as you want to your Build Your Own pizza is the stuff pizza dreams were made of ! The crust is thin but not like cracker thing and hard. It's pretty darn perfect and listen, I'm a thick crust gal. I like my crust to be like garlic bread w/pizza on top. So for me to love this pizza w/this thinner crust says a lot. I would tell you the combo I get, but I fear if too many people start ordering it, they may add it to the menu as a style and not give me my props !!!! ;) So let's just have you go up there and have at it ! The lemonade: I like blood oranges. I like lemonade. But can these two coexist in one glass and share the space lovingly ? The answer: ABSOLUTELY!!!! Warning: The lemonade is sweet. It's not bitter and it will make you crave water (if you enjoy the drinking benefits of water), so be prepared to blown away by liquid love in a glass ! This stuff is great. I admit to standing close by and refilling my drink as I have waited on my pizza to get finished baking. I don't know who's idea this was, but the concoction of blood oranges and lemonade was perfect! I can already see them starting to sell this by the jugs. It lays complete and overall claim to ChickFiLe's (spelling..i don't love them enough to look up that spelling) expensive bitter sugar juice. It makes me and all my friends happy and as a matter a fact, I want some now. I would have given Blaze a five star rating but I have to admit that the cross contamination is a problem for me that will help keep me at bay. If they can figure out how to grab one ingredient without it falling into the containers of others, I will change that. The problem with CC is what if someone is allergic to the chicken that someone dropped all over the green peppers, and a server grabs green peppers that has that chicken in it? Then what? Who's fault is that? I had that happen although I'm not allergic. I tend to stray away from square blocks of chicken and would prefer to see a cleaner countertop although I can see how easy it is to get dirty, and a lot less cross contamination. I know it's hard but I'm a little tired of accepting cross contamination as one of those things out of my power. Everyone is doing it now and no one seems to care. Qdoba constantly has brown rice mixed with the white rice. It's ridiculous that no one calls them out on it. I hope that Blaze can get this issue under control so I can give them the fifth star that the star of the show, the pizza and lemonade, should be able to lay claim to. Pizza hut who? #TeamBlaze

    This is such a neat concept. Think Subway for pizza. You walk down a line and tell them what toppings to put on your pizza (or order one of their pre-designed pizzas) and they pop it in a super-hot oven which cooks it in under 5 minutes. Prices are extremely reasonable. $7 for a pizza (they're all 7") with as many or as few toppings as you like. $6 if you just want a cheese pizza or a 1-topping pizza. The pizza is delicious. I love the coal-fired pizzas (1800 degree oven) at other places and Blaze is similar. The high heat makes for a crispy crust while leaving the inside still moist and chewy. Stupendous.

    Apparently I fell out of favor with the foodie gods because I had just an "ahhhh, ok" expereince at Blaze. After Wine Fest I wanted to pick up a quick bite to eat for me and my bf, so based on the stellar Yelp reviews I decided to stop by Blaze. As many Yelpers have stated, this place is set up simlar to Subway so you select your own fixins'. I wasn't feeling creative so I opted for a bbq chicken pizza for myself and the meat lovers pizza for my bf. I'm not a huge lemondade fan, but I had to try the blood orange lemonade because I'm a sucker for blood oranges. The lemonade was overly sweet, but most likely that was due to all the sweet wines I had a Wine Fest. Darn. The pizza itself was, well, meh. I couldn't believe how sparesely dressed it was. Where's the meat?! I definitely wasn't proportion to the size of the pizza. I should have paid more attention when they were preparing it, but became distracted by the s'mores pie. Sigh. When I took my first bite of the bbq chicken pizza I immediately thought, this reminds me of Ci-Ci's pizza. It wasn't bad, but I expected much more. Bummer.

    This place is GENIUS. It revolutionizes everything we know about pizza. Not only do you not have to wait for your food, but you get to customize every little detail of your order. You go through a line of toppings and just point to everything you want. It's great because you get to see all the options right in front of you and therefore end up with some delicious combinations you would never have imagined or ordered from a usual pizza place. You can also keep it simple and the taste is still just as great. Perfect food to eat on the go, but you can also eat there (they have a super cool picture on their wall that you might want to just eat and look at).

    This place is good and very cheap. It fits my major requirements. I always start with a signature pizza but add a few more things. More cheese, obviously. The workers behind the counter are happy to help and are patient with new people. Places like this can be overwhelming at times with all the choices, so don't worry about asking. The first time I went I was suggested the Art Lover. I'm still all about it. Try this one out! It's great.

    We had an Entertainment Book coupon and were craving some pizza We bought two small pizzas. One was sausage with mushroom, onion, and black olive on red sauce with mozzarella. The other was chicken with artichoke red pepper and onion on goat cheese and white sauce. Both tasted great and were exactly what we asked for, with generous portions. I would however, not suggest getting thin crust!!! We did and the pieces fell apart, we had to eat them by folding them in half. Size-wise, I had enough for two meals. My boyfriend however, ravenously ate the entire thing. If you're looking for a light meal, two people could probably split a small pizza and feel satisfied, in my opinion. We also tried a s'mores cookie and it was pretty good. Will be back again- this might actually be one if my new favourite Indy restaurants. :)

    I've eaten her more times than I care to admit and the pizza is great every time. You choose your sauce: Classic red, spicy red or white. Then you choose a cheese and other toppings. Unlimited toppings on a 10 inch sort of thin crust, personal pizza. What's better than that? Oh, I know what's better. It's only $7.25. Only $5.95 for a 1-topping pizza if you liked keep it simple and easy.

    This place is a very good and very quick place to grab a pizza for lunch. I have arrived with the line out the door but did't have to wait more than 10 minutes for my pizza. Note this place gets very busy around lunch time. I always order the Green Stripe pizza. It is a great change from your typical pizza. It is made with grilled chicken, roasted red peppers, peso, and arugula. This is a great place to expand your pizza taste pallet. Also a plus, they carry Monster Energy drink. Woot!

    Looking for a new place to take your sweetheart on a new date night location, look no further. The atmosphere is quaint. The music is perfect for the environment surrounding a college campus and Mass Ave. the service was great. Every time an employee spoke with me it need with a 'sir'. The pizza was amazing and ready in a few minutes. Being close to campus helps with students living on campus without a car. One of the best pizza places downtown. And it's cheap for the bargain hunter

    On a recent business trip to Indy, I stopped in at this establishment based on a recommendation from a colleague, and I must say: it was wonderful. I am generally not a fan of the chain pizza restaurants, but this one exceeded my expectations in nearly every way. The place is clean, well-organized, and the process of ordering is straightforward and easy to catch on to. Not only that, but the employees are exceptionally helpful and patient, and they genuinely seem to enjoy working there, which is always nice to see. I ordered the Art Lover pizza (artichokes, mozzarella, ricotta, chopped garlic, red sauce dollops) and added spinach as well for no extra charge (total bill around $7). Within minutes, it came out of their special ovens perfectly cooked and giving off an aroma reminiscent of my Italian grandmother's kitchen. The crust was crispy, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the contrasting colors provided a very pleasing aesthetic dimension. Needless to say, it was delicious and I would strongly recommend that you try this place if you find yourself in the vicinity.

    I love Blaze Pizza so much! In fact, when I knew I was coming to Indy for a internship, I looked up whether there was a Blaze Pizza nearby and sure enough 1 mile from my work woohoo!!! Bomb build your own pizza. Pile that cheese mountain!

    Yum! The mouth watering smell of fresh baked pizza! As somewhat of a broke college student, pizza is the way of life. When I first walked into Blaze's Pizza I was instantly welcomed! The environment was comforting and I was hit with the wondrous smells of endless varieties of ingredients that made my mouth water. Not only that but Blaze has a since of humor with it's company. The best part about this place is that you get a fairly good sized 11" pizza that you could share with a friend. The prices are fantastic compared to other competitors considering the quality of the pizza. If you order a specific pizza, you're aloud to choose anything you want off and want on the pizza. That is the way to my heart only because whatever you put on/take off is FREE. I ordered the White Top pizza. That comes with: cream sauce, mozzarella, bacon, chopped garlic, oregano, and arugula. As an extra topping I thought banana peppers would complete this pizza and it hit the spot just right. I highly recommend.

    Hmmmm.... So far I'm on the pizza fence. I loves me some pizza and gluten free crust is promising. It wasn't really fast service (ok it was about 3 minutes waiting for my crust) there seemed to be three people helping me or maybe sort of standing around. I also didn't check the ever trustworthy yelp reviews before ordering...so when I was asked if I wanted another topping after the third one was tossed on, of course my mind was like, "how much are them extra onions and olives going to cost me girrrrl!" Only after my pizza was in the oven that I found out I could have gone full stop and customized it with whatever I want. Thanks yelp, always saving lives in that "let me help you bro" - type of way. Next time. After returning from the ladies room, that may have seen better days, I waited a little while longer for my pizza. I noticed how burnt the guy's next to mine was and said a prayer. It was definitely crisp, however I would have eaten a boot just then if it had sugar on it because me and hungry have never been friends. The gluten free crust was possibly too thin. The weight of the cheese was too much, and at one point I rolled the pizza up like a burrito. Perfect! I am one of those people that believes pizza can change the world... Give Blaze some time, and they could be president some day!

    Just Blaze! Long story short: It's delicious! Now, the nitty-gritty: I was a little skeptical when I walked into Blaze pizza. I always expect sub-par food when a restaurant opens on or near a college campus. I'm happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I visited Blaze thanks to a coupon for a free pizza (kudos to the marketing team, that's a great way to get people in the door). I'll be back for the great pizza. Blaze is unique, because you get to select exactly what you want on your pizza, and there's no upcharge for extra toppings (I believe there is an extra charge for gluten-free crust). There is a variety of sauce selections, including spicy marinara and Alfredo. The pizza toppings themselves are pretty standard, but I definitely appreciated the fresh mozzarella and feta cheeses. Your pizza is cooked in a brick-oven (the only way to go) right on front of you. My pizza was hot, fresh, and made just the way I like it. What's not to love? Let's BLAZE!!!

    Perfectly fine for "fast" pizza. Just step up, pick the sauce, cheese, meats, veggies, and you are done. The dough is of the thin variety, but when the pizza came out the crust was a little soft. I wish it was crunchier but it was fine considered how fast it was. All pizzas are priced the same ($6.95), whether you pick your own toppings or order a pre-determined variety. No confusion there. Even during a busy lunch hour the pizzas came out steadily without a lot of waiting. With a terrible experience at Subway recently, I will go to Blaze all day everyday.

    Fist time here based on previous posts. I was slightly disappointed on the center of the pizza because it didn't seem like it got full cooked. When I picked up the slice it seemed uncooked. Besides that it was great. I went in thinking I would get one of their signature pizzas until I saw all their toppings. I was highly impressed with their toppings and their service. The blood orange drink is not bad, I don't think it is the best thing in the world, but it is definitely worth a taste.

    The concept is great. Personalized individual pizzas in an assembly line style. Great for families that don't agree on toppings and it's a fun environment. The taste is great. I got the bbq chicken and my son got pepperoni and sausage. Both tasted great! The three star rating is because of the incredibly awkward interaction with the guys at the end of the line working the oven and cutting/finishing station. They were bickering the whole time I waited. Swearing, slamming trays and tools, the whole nine yards. The fighting caused a backup on the cutting and the backup caused more fighting. Twice other workers came to help catch up and the cutting station guy shooed them away insisting he didn't need help while the oven guy stood there with pizza on his long stick grabber thing waiting for space. A customer came back up and asked for a recut because the pieces weren't cut all the way through. The cutter guy questioned the customer at first about why he wanted new cuts and then made a big production out of recutting. It was really uncomfortable. The saving grace was the super friendly worker named Lo that worked at the beginning of the line. If I hadn't had that really great interaction first, I probably wouldn't go back after the experience with the other two.

    The pizza is OK. The staff is racist, I noticed that recently with my girlfriend during my first visit to Blaze Pizza (IUPUI), It's obvious to everyone that we both look foreigners, so the moment I walked to the order counter their smile just disappeared, they prepared the pizza, during the preparing process they didn't seem happy, and they didn't treat me well, I felt extremely discriminated (to be honest there was only one employee who smiled and treated us right, which was the person who took the payment at the end). We finished our order and we started eating, I kept looking at the staff to see if they're really grouchy by birth, but they were not!! I noticed that they were smiling normally to every and each customer before and after us. This was my first and last time visiting this location, and the whole business chain.

    Its close to the campus, and its fast. Therefore, its good for lunch when you're in a hurry Its a nice place to have food with colleagues. You can pick any toppings, basically its the "subway" of pizza. You pick you pizza, and you add on the sauce, veggies and meat. And it takes less than fice minutes to bake Once again, its fast so do not expect something extraordinary. Highly recommended to students and employees near by

    I've really missed pizza since dealing with food intolerance issues. I'm on a dairy-free diet right now to see if that's the problem. When I found out that Blaze has vegan cheese, I was very happy. I love all the options here and all the fresh ingredients. You can get a pizza with countless toppings here. The catch, the crust can't hold up all the toppings. It's kind of soggy and thin. If they had a thicker crust, I'd be here all the time.     This place is a great lunch find. When it comes to pizza, "it's all about the base" and by base I mean the crust. It is a thin crust that is is perfect cooked so it is crispy but not too crispy. The flavor is excellent. Then there are the toppings which are plentiful. They have the basics to the not so basics including roasted garlic, goat cheese, and these huge fresh leaves of basil. What tops this place off to give it five stars is the price. You end up with a good sized pizza for one plus leftovers for under $10. This place is a pizza winner.

    I enjoy everything about this place, from the fair portion/price ratio to the consistently funny and personable staff. It's possible they hide it well, but everyone here seems to love their job. Blaze's business model is also hyper aware and tailored to accommodate funky dietary restrictions. So now, the food. Just as I've found the staff to be consistently genuine in their customer service, each time I've ordered food here it has been consistently high quality from ingredients to execution. The crust comes out a perfect thin n' crispy, not overshadowed by whatever typings you choose from their fresh, eclectic array. (Spicy marinara, daiya "cheese", roasted garlic, and artichokes, to name a few of my favorites.) Not to mention, it is pretty cool seeing the "dedicated pizza smith" - a quite appropriate title - work with an oven hot enough to cook your pizza in 3 minutes. Normally I am not this impressed by or apt to support a chain restaurant, but this particular franchise is all around excellently run.

    Went for the first time last night! I was great & im an instant fan...(i may even go back tonight)! The concept is great & the staff made me feel welcomed. The pizza is big to be considered a "personal size"...i couldn't even eat in one setting. I much rather have this than some $5 pizza! Great spot!

    This is how the concept of Blaze was explained to me by the coworker who begged me to go with him: "It's like Subway for pizza... but better." Well, that's about the best way to describe it! Come on in and get your pie made to order with whatever you want (in whatever amount you want!), baked to perfection in less than three minutes all for under 7 bucks. How can you beat that? This place has almost every topping one would put on pizza. Starting off with either plain, spicy or white alfredo sauce and tons of cheese options you can basically build your 'za from the group up. They have all the standards (think pepperoni, mushrooms) and some extra ingredients (pile on that pineapple and spinach!) to really give you the pie you want. No matter what you pile on your slice, you're still paying one low price. Whether you want plain cheese (I'm not gonna judge you) or want to load it up to your chin with meats you're going to end up paying less than 10 bucks for your (really big) pizza and a drink. The pizza is supposed to be a personal sized pizza (I think?), but it really it perfect for two people. Can't wait to come back again!

    Really like this place for a quick, design-your-own pizza. The price is great - about $7 - and you can choose from a huge variety of sauces and premium toppings. I was sold when I realized they had three different garlic toppings. Tons of veggies and meats and the pizzas are large enough to fill you or have some to take home. Staff is always very friendly and by the time you've ordered, paid and say down, you're pizza's done. Definitely recommend for a quick meal!

    Love the concept - subway / Qdoba style You-tell-Them-what-to-put-on-it pizza just for you. It's actually similar to a trip to Penn Station. You tell them what you want but they have to cook it so you get it maybe 5 mins after you pay. You can get a generously-sized pizza and a drink for about $10 which is cheaper than similar top-shelf fast food like noodles and co or Qdoba. They need more of these around town - for shizzle.

    What a fun, friendly, fast, and fabulous new restaurant in Indy! I went here last night and from the moment I walked in the door to the time I left with my pizza no more than 5 minutes had passed and I only spent around $8 :) The great thing about Blaze, besides the fact that it is freaky fast (a la jimmy johns) is that you can choose as many toppings as you want for the same price. I ordered the Red Vine and added on some goat and Gorgonzola cheeses and it was outstanding! I also noted that everyone working there was genuinely friendly and helpful. Next time I go I may try out their Gluten Free pizza crust!

    De-lish! This was like the Subway of pizza. Quick, fresh, friendly and great tasting. The price was under $10 for a loaded made to order pizza and blood-orange lemonade. The line was long but did not take long to get through. The topping selection was great and there was no shortage in choices. I can't believe I someone by it so many times without going in. Now, I can't wait to go back.

    I had lunch here today with a coworker, and we were both impressed! I had the art lover pizza which features artichokes, ricotta, mozzarella and red sauce dollops along with some other veggies I'm forgetting right now. As others have noted, they make your pizza to order so you can have them add or leave off anything you'd like for no extra charge. The pizza came out of the oven just minutes later hot and delicious! The crust was a wonderful chewy/crispy texture; none of the soggy crust it sounds like some others have encountered. For $6.95 for an 11-inch pizza I found nothing to complain about here! I think maybe the sogginess others have encountered happens if too many veggies are added...might be best to stick to just a few (I'm basing this in my own experiments with homemade pizza). The folks working here were enthusiastic and seemed to be having fun which is always nice to see. The music is a little loud, but not too loud to have a conversation. Also...for those who are interested, they have an interactive nutrition calculator on their website. Pretty cool and totally possible to get a tasty pizza with halfway decent nutrition and without consuming a day's worth of calories at one meal. The to-go boxes readily available by the door were also a nice touch if there are leftovers!

    Blaze is one of the best places for busy college students to go get something quick but still delicious to eat. It offers some unique pizzas that you can add toppings to for no extra cost. This last time that I went I got the green stripe pizza which has a pesto drizzle over chicken, red peppers, garlic, mozzarella and arugula. I took off the red peppers and added extra chicken and feta cheese. All of the ingredients taste fresh and I can eat the entire personal pizza and be satisfied but not uncomfortably full. The workers at blaze are very friendly which is a nice bonus to great fast pizza. All together blaze is delicious, convenient and quick for college students.

    Not bad. I had been hearing this place was "The Chipotle of Pizza" for a while so I had to try it. Pizza was pretty good, moderately priced, not a ton of food but enough for lunch. I had one of the signature pizzas, The White Top, the Alfredo Sauce was really tasty. It was very fast and the restaurants decor was fitting and pretty spacious. Parking is a bear over in this area so I recommend going at either 11 or 1 for lunch as noon it's freaking packed. All in all a good place, I think one downtown would do really well. I'll definitely go back! PS This place had to be named by stoners, Blaze? Seriously!

    After our negative experience, Blaze management contacted me via Yelp to tell me that they were very upset that staff had treated customers that way. They said they had addressed the issue internally and asked if I'd accept two complimentary pizzas to give them another try. Our follow up visit was great. This kind of follow up on issues makes a huge difference! We will definitely be back.

    I take pizza very seriously, doesn't everyone? I will admit I was pretty skeptical to try this place. I had heard it referred to as "The Subway of Pizza" not exactly a selling point in my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised as I walked in, greeted by a host of employees welcoming me with a hearty "Welcome to Blaze" behind the counter. It reminded me of the infamous "Welcome to Moe's" chant. The set up of the restaurant is similar to that of Chipotle - it features an assembly line with a similar stainless steel industrial vibe. Not only do they have gluten free dough they also have vegan cheese to suit your dietary restrictions. They have a wide selection of fresh toppings to choose from and your pizza is cooked in 180 seconds. It's fast casual artisanal pizza. You can build your own pie or select from one of their signature pizzas. If you're looking to dabble on the wild side, I would suggest venturing out and trying The White Top pizza - one of the best pizzas on the menu in my opinion. At a cost of less than $8, Blaze offers something for everyone even the pickiest of eaters.

    Go here if you are in a really bad mood or just maybe in a good mood and want to leave in a great one. It is like Mike's Car Wash....impossible to leave unhappy. Why? The staff is over the top friendly, upbeat, create a personal experience for you and just make you smile, period. It is in a strip mall near IUPUI housed with several other restaurants. You walk in the door to several employees saying, "Welcome to Blaze!". Next, you walk up to something similar to a Subway line. Super easy concept. Pick a specialty pizza or build your own. I built my own. Then.... 1) Select your crust: regular or gluten-free 2) Give them your name 3) Select your sauce(s) 4) Select your cheese. FYI...maybe Wednesday's special is two-cheeses, because they encouraged me to select two cheeses and said, "You have to; it is Wednesday!". 5) Select your meats (unlimited) 6) Select your veggies (unlimited) 7) Select your spices All pizzas are 11" pizzas and a build your own is $6.95. After you create your personal pie and pay, it is ready in literally 3-5 minutes. Super fresh ingredients, super easy and fast service. Awesome staff. I think they should consistently play Pharrell Williams "Happy" for their customers. Not kidding. What I ordered: Regular crust, red sauce with pesto, shredded mozzarella cheese + ovalini mozzarella, applewood bacon, smoked ham, grilled chicken, italian sausage, artichokes, zucchini, garlic, mushrooms and spinach. DELISH! What I didn't like: I ordered carryout and my pizza was not sliced well. I had to recut the entire thing before eating it. Also, as suggested by some coworkers who dined there yesterday....if you get too many veggies, the crust gets a little soggy. I guess you can't expect too much with a super thin crust (and, I love a super thin crust), but mine was a tad bit on the soggy side. Still tasty, regardless and it was "Bella approved" (my dog). They also have pre-made salads available (all looked delish), a S'More Pie for dessert and great drink selections. Give them a try. You will leave happy!

    Full disclosure, I love pizza. It's my favorite food. I have wanted a pizza place like this for a long time. It's simple, get a super hot oven, and assemble the pizza in front of you like Subway. You get to pick unlimited toppings, meat, veggies, cheese, you name it. It's all yours for less than $7. The pizza is a good size and should satisfy the average Hoosier. Now some suggestions: 1) Please offer high gluten dough. This gives you that crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside texture. 2) Offer butter & fresh parm sprinkle around the edge. This really takes on the flavor of the oven. 3) Offer Caputo tipo "00" Pizzeria dough for that authentic Neapolitan pizza experience. My point being, you have that real nice pizza oven that has more potential. I look forward to going back soon.

    Making your own pizza always turns out amazing, but its a pain to buy all the ingredients you want that you don't usually have, and not the easiest either. Blaze let's you make your own pizza at a really great value and it's quality is pretty darn good. The set-up has been commented upon - it doesn't flow quite as smoothly as a Chipotle or Subway, although maybe it will get better over time - but there are tons of options for your toppings. The crust is thin and the pizza does come out very quickly - I probably only waited four minutes or so. The quality was very good, it seemed like they left it in just the right amount, and the staff was really friendly. I'm still a little skeptical if the flow through the steps of making your pizza will get any more efficient, but for the value and quality I'm willing to be patient and wait.

    I was very pleasantly surprised with this new pizza joint near IUPUI's campus. First of all, it's reasonably priced. Pay $6.95 for your own large pizza with whatever toppings you'd like. Yes, you heard correctly. Whatever. Toppings. You'd. Like. UNLIMITED TOPPINGS, PEOPLE!! I got a ton of toppings.. I don't even know what all I had there were so many. My favorite was the entire roasted cloves of garlic. Talk about yumtastic 2014. Also, let's talk about the crust. It's very thin and very crispy and awesome. It seemed so light that I was actually able to finish off my entire pizza (cue pig oinking noises). I totally told myself I was going to take half home, but it was too good and I couldn't stop my hand from picking up the piece and leading it to my mouth. I think it was a reflex. I had no control. Anyway... yeah, I liked this place. Cheap. Delicious. Let's me be in control and get what I want. And it's pizza.. so there's that.

    This place would be really good if they would stop burning the pizza! I went last weekend and it was really good besides being burnt, so this weekend I specifically asked to have it underdone, not crispy at all, and they burnt it more than last time! And they burnt my fiancé's even worse than mine! The concept of building your own pizza is really neat, they have great toppings, and the staff are all very friendly. But I don't like burnt pizza, so I won't be back =( I wouldn't necessarily discourage others from going, just ask them not to burn your pizza =)

    There are not a lot places you can take a four year old with a gluten allergy to for pizza near Riley childrens hospital. Blaze is one though. We had a cheese gluten free, another gluten free with sausage, cheese, spinach and peppers and the Art Lover pizza. The gluten free crust was very good and the veggies were all fresh. The service was very quick (had our food in about 7 minutes) and staff was friendly. It is noisy and lunch crowd made it very crowded. Parking is always tough at this time of day as well.

    I've been here 3 times and I've only been *slightly* dissatisfied once -- but first, the 2 times I did love it, I had a healthy amount of toppings, it was fast, and it tasted delightful. They address you by name, and are very accommodating in adding "more of this" and "light on that". The one time I wasn't happy, I chose to try the gluten free pizza crust because I was heading to a meeting later that afternoon, and I didn't want to be bloated and uncomfortable (I know, I know.... eat something other than pizza). The crust I got was super thin. Like... paper thin. And it is put in the oven on a separate baking stone... so it didn't get crispy. yes, I realize this is because I ordered gluten free crust and they have the separate stone in order to cut down on contamination.... so I get it. It was a hot mess to eat. Albeit a delicious hot mess. I'll probably stick with the regular crust and a more comfortable outfit from now on. Side note, the acoustics are horrible up at the counter where you order, and I had to ask the employees to repeat themselves a couple times -- apparently they're used to it. Seemed better at the tables where it counts though, which is fine by me.

    Cool concept. Like going to a sub shop that cuts and preps in front of you, but pizza making instead. The queue was out the door when we arrived and it didn't move too rapidly--with so many choices confounding the average visitor. It might move a little quicker if people had a way to pick the toppings prior to moving through the line. On the way upside, the pizza came out super-duper quick. And the side salads were big and tasty, though hard to eat in the container provided, since they had so much packed into the package. I can highly recommend the arugula, beet and goat (or was it feta?) cheese salad. Yum. They have gluten free. Thumbs up.

    FINALLY! I was hungry for pizza and passing by Blaze near the IUPUI campus when I thought I'd give it another try. My first review was stellar, my second not so much, so I was hoping that there had been improvements made by my third visit. I am VERY happy to report that the service was excellent, the toppings were plentiful (unlike my second visit) and the pizza is just perfection for those of us lovers of thin crusts and fast, fire baked pizza! I'll definitely be back for another visit soon!

    Pretty good for a fresh pizza you get in under 5 minutes. You can build your own or try one of the Signature pizzas. Once your pizza is assembled, it's thrown in their oven, where it bakes in about 5 minutes. I tried the Link In signature pizza. Toppings were tasty. I opted for spicy red sauce. It had a subtle spiciness to it, not overwhelming. The only "complaint" I have is with the crust. It is pretty thin. I prefer thicker crust on my pizzas, but it's by no means a deal breaker.

    I really like these places a lot. They're starting to pop up everywhere, 1st time I had this style of pizza is in Los Angeles. And none of these I've ever been to are a chain but they all hit it on the spot. I mean, for less than $10 you can get a pizza with every topping. I still don't know how these places make money. The pizza is thin crust though so there's a threshold on how many toppings you should add before it gets too much for the pizza. Military discount too! Day I came in the manager on duty is actually in the Army Reserves and he kidded that they didn't give their discounts to officers! Haha! Got great service from everyone else who worked here too, super friendly. If you haven't tried this style of Subway prepped pizza, you should definitely give it a shot, there's a great chance you'll love it.

    Love the interactive concept in a pizzeria! Everything is super fresh. There is an amazing range of ingredient options, it's quick and economical. I did the Red Vine with a Beet & Goat Cheese salad. Great! Had lots left over! Next time I'll build my own and go for the Roasted Veggie & Gorgonzola salad. Can't wait. And don't skip the Blood Orange Lemonade!

    Great place to get a pizza ! You can make your own pizza or choose from their specialty options. I loved their toppings they were fresh and they bake the pizza right in front of you! However, they do tend to burn the crust a little bit I feel it's unavoidable. Don't forget to grab their s'mores pie, it's delicious!!

    As others have said, it's like the Subway of pizza. I'm a fan of the quick fired pizza so this is kind of like the fast food Pizzology. I ordered the Art Lover pizza, one of the standard pies, but was asked for options along the way. I do wish they had a choice of sizes as six slices is too much for lunch. I got my pizza to go but while I was waiting (they cook the pizzas for about 3 minutes) I noticed they did have blood orange lemonade -- intriguing! My pizza was about $7.50. Fair for the quality. The seating area seemed small, however, and it was pretty noisy. Parking is a bear, of course, especially at lunch. The strip mall is so poorly designed!

    This place is great! Very very cheap and the food is wonderful. They do accommodate with gluten free pizza and also have dairy free cheese. They have an awesome allergy menu online. The assembly line allows you to be a part of the pizza making process, which I thought was pretty neat. After they make your pizza, it's only a few minutes until it's in the oven, then you're eating it. Great place!

    Super solid pizza place. I will be coming here often. I love pizzas with tons of toppings and at Blaze they are free! I came with my girlfriend and we both thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas. I got a fresh mozzarella, multi meat, basil, onion, oregeno. She got what I will just call an olive pizza (pesto, black olives, green olives, olive oill, pepporoni). Both were very tasty and more than either of us could eat. The only two minor complaints I have are that the pizzas are really not one serving in my opinion, they are about 1.5. I figured this could be alleviated by having one person get a pizza and the other get a salad. then you each get half of both! My other complaint is well documented here, the sogginess. I am fine with it, in fact only the center was soggy on mine, but you just fold lengthwise like an NYC slice and it holds up well. Maybe poke a drain hole in middle ;) The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome even though there were obviously new trainees. The dining area felt like a busy cafeteria, definitely not a good place if you are afraid of crowded dining space.

    I love the concept of this place! Other restaurants have a "build your own" pizza option but do you really get to go down a line and actually build it? At Blaze, you can! The setup is similar to a Subway or Chipotle, where you go down an assembly line and see what you are ordering. They are extremely fast and efficient so this would be perfect for a fast lunch :) Things that stood out for me: *Most expensive item on the menu is $6.95 *Additional toppings are FREE *Great costumer service

    I loved the concept of creating my own pizza. Adding a ton of toppings is even better. I could put all the stuff on that no one else at home will touch. Good price point because I could feed myself and my daughter pizza and drinks for less than $20. Bad news - you can't move around well during lunch rush. Parking in that IUPUI enclave sucks worse due to their popularity. Conversation is more or less impossible. It may get better once the several zillion people with freebies aren't there, but I will wait to go back until the initial thrill wears off for others.

    As a broke college student, when someone offers free pizza I am all ears! I walked into Blaze yesterday, along with many, many, many of my fellow IUPUI students, not knowing what to expect. The concept is nice. It's a build your own pizza joint, similar in style to Qdoba or Subway, however they also have pre-selected combinations on the menu if you're not a fan of too many choices. I really liked the variety of ingredients. I went with the build your own option, with chicken, cheese, olives, basil and sauteed onion. I agree with the previous poster that the crust is thin (I wouldn't go as far to say half of a saltine cracker though) and after the three minutes it was still a little soft (quite a few of my toppings fell off when trying to pick it up). Hence the docked star. However, I'm sure on a less busy day, I could just ask them to leave it in the oven a little longer. Even so, the pizza was still pretty tasty and it's a nice size (11") for the regular price ($6.85 pre-tax). I also really enjoyed the customer service. Despite the craziness of their opening day, each team member took the time to greet me by name and ask how my day was going. Did they really care? Probably not. But I know how easy it is to get swamped under pressure in that kind of business. It was a nice touch. I also liked that, despite the fact that there were at least 30 people in front of me, I was in the door, through the line and eating my pizza in less than 25 minutes. On a regular day I bet it would be under 10. Is their pizza going to change your life? No. However, if you're in the area and are looking for an affordable, quick and tasty lunch I would definitely recommend Blaze.

    Tried Blaze for the first time this evening and was very happy with the decision. Casual atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff, and the place smells amazing right when you walk in. Seeing the fiery oven was also pretty cool. I love how you place your order as well. It's set up almost like Subway, but with pizza. They get your crust, you choose your toppings and they construct your order in front of you, then it's tossed in the oven. Thin crust, and just all-around tasty. Great prices, too. All that said, I couldn't tell if they offered different sizes of crust while placing my order. Overall, I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

    Got a BBQ chicken pizza tonight. This was a spontaneous late night dinner pick after spending a long day at work and then other obligations.... I hope this place does great because the concept is really wonderful. Cheap & good pizza that could be shared. A college kid's dream: cheap food that's good. Half of my pizza is coming home with me for lunch tomorrow.

    This place is pretty great. For about $7, you can get a pizza with pretty much anything you want on it. Two people could probably split the pizza and be full. Me, I'm greedy, if you want to keep your hand, you would be wise to keep it away from my pizza. The staff make your pizza from either a preselected option (I like the White Top), or with whatever you choose. You can also use one of their menu options as a base and add to it. They also make every pizza as though they were making it for themselves, no skimping on toppings, and they spread everything out evenly. The toppings seem to be of a good quality; better than a Cici's or Donatos, that's for sure. Everything is fired in a wood oven, and the pizza is usually done, cooked, and cut, within a few minutes of your initial order. The usual staples like crushed red pepper and Parmesan are available. They also have S'mores pies, which I have not tried, but are good according to my son. I've only had one problem there. I tried to use my JagTag to pay, and even though the charge went through, it didn't show that to the lady who was trying to check me out. I ended up paying with my debit card, which resulted in a double charge. When both charges showed up, I called the store and spoke to Jessie the manager. Jessie apologized, offered me a refund, and a free pizza. I opted to only take the pizza (which was paid for). As it turned out, he had to leave for drill that afternoon, so he told me he would make his crew aware since I was going to come in that night. He did just that, and they made me an awesome pizza. He owned a mistake, which really was the fault of the JagTag system, and took care of a customer. Bottom line; good pizza, fair price, great service.

    I like this place a lot!! The pizza isn't the best pizza I have tried but it's good enough to make me come back again. I like how fast they make your pizza. They are cheap and delicious. They only have thin crust pizzas, so if you are not a fan of thin crust pizzas then this place isn't the right place for your stomach lol.

    It's subway meets pizza. The store is rather small, not much seating not a very good date place. The store can get really loud, the music played is awful. The staff is a bunch of college aged kids. My crust was rather soggy. Im not super impressed.

    I was so excited to see Blaze Pizza opening in Indy. I frequented their first establishment in Pasadena, CA over its first 2 years of business. It's a build your own pizza establishment with an extra fast pizza cooking time (think of Chipotle but with pizza).

    I luv the entire concept of this place. I really like the light crispy w/ some chew or chewy with some crisp crust. Either way it's filling without that stuffed why'd I eat another slice feeling. If this is confusing just try it. I mean who doesn't like standing there watching them prepare your pizza. Unlimited toppings that you get to dictate. The pizza is the right size and the right price. The lemonade was really good (blood orange I think) I really wish there was one near me. I've eaten here twice and will definitely go back. The young people working here were very nice and friendly.

    I don't eat a lot of pizza because the ol' gut doesn't jive with the cheese. So I was excited to hear that Blaze offered vegan cheese. I didn't go in with high expectations. I mean, it's fast-food pizza. A slightly less greasy Papa John's was all I was shooting for. Let's just say I was happy to be proven wrong! They offer several different sauces: classic red, spicy, alfredo and pesto. I went with classic and wasn't disappointed. I didn't really look much at the cheese offerings, since I got the vegan cheese. It was SO GOOD. I think it could have fooled the most refined dairy-eater. I skipped the meat section, too, (Yes, ok? I'm that annoying person no one wants to take out to dinner... "Is that bacon?" "Does this have meat on it?" "I smell chicken...Does this smell like chicken?") but my friend got all kinds of carcass on his pie and was pleased with it. On to veggies! I was super-impressed! Fresh basil and spinach, roasted garlic, artichokes, tomatoes... just a few of the yummies they had to offer. (And yippee! the worker offered to change his gloves after handling the meat.) I don't think I'd get anymore than 4 or 5 toppings. The crust is pretty thin...you won't be able to pick up your slice if you get too greedy on the toppers. The process was very smooth: After you build your pizza, you pay and wait 3 minutes. Ta-da! Crispy crust, melty cheese and just the perfect amount for one hungry person. When it comes to fast food pizza, kids, this is as good as you're gonna find it. Get there!

    Received a coupon in the mail for a "free" pizza from this new business, who is located in the old location of Eddie meets Salad, on Indiana Ave. Got there about 11:30 and the line was already out the door, you choose what you want on the pie or one of their signature pizzas. All the ingredients looked very fresh, the choice of cheeses was huge even vegan cheese, sauces, traditional, spicy, and Alfredo. Gluten free dough for a very small fee. These pizzas are, So affordable, simple pie goes for $5 and most expensive build your own is $6.95. Service was fun and fast, but the BEST part was the pizza was great tasting , I had spicy sauce with goat cheese , mozzarella, spinach,artichoke,fresh tomato, red pepper and great roasted garlic cloves.     The concept of a pizza that is just the right size for one person at a reasonable price is an appealing one. However, the pizza itself isn't wonderful. The burnt effect that the fire grilling adds to the pizza left a weird aftertaste. The service was just okay. I had trouble understanding what two of the employees were saying to me, and there was a lot of yelling among the employees, which I found very unprofessional. I came in because I had a coupon for a free pizza, and with all the other great pizza places to choose from, I probably won't be back.

    I have kind of gotten tired of pizza around Indy. But the other day I thought I would go into this new place on Indiana Ave., Blaze Pizza. First of all it's really cool on the inside. Then the pizza is like ordering a sub at Subway. You get all the toppings you want for the same price and they all look fresh and clean. The service was awesome and I was especially impressed with the manager I'm not sure of his name but he's got tattoos on both arms. It has kind of made me crave pizza again. So if you ever get blazed remember to stop by Blaze.

    Really good pizza for the price! Got my first pizza for free with the coupons they sent out, I like that you can put whatever you want on it and there is no extra charge. I LOVE thin crust pizzas because I can actually eat more than one piece without being ridiculously full from all the crust. To me, pizza is about the sauce, cheese and tasty toppings, the crust is just the canvas to the masterpiece. I will for sure be going back go Blaze!

    i'm only leaving out the 5th star here because i've only been here once & didn't actually order anything. i went here tuesday with a couple friends for lunch. one friend is a vegetarian & the other just had a baby, so she loaded her pizza with lots of good meat & veggies. i love that they have options for sauces & cheeses, all the usual toppings, plus other things like zucchini, garlic, & fresh basil. i tried both pizzas & have to say they were both SO good! i wasn't in a pizza mood which is why i didn't get anything, but i literally almost jumped in line after trying theirs. i probably would have if they weren't already done. definitely looking forward to stopping here for myself soon!

    So we actually got a free coupon of an 11 something inch Blaze pizza , freshly fired. Walked there and availed our coupon. We only eat vegetarian so expectation wasn't so high however the pizza turned out pretty decent ! We moved across the counter and chose our own toppings / sauce etc. Then it was put in the oven in front of us and was ready to go. Had it along some home-cooked pasta and enjoyed our dinner.

    Let me start off with the disclaimers: I grew up in the North End of Boston, travel very frequently to international destinations, including Italy and do not eat red meat That being said, I still believe that Blaze pizza is something everyone should try. The crust is relatively thin - but that is what I like and their sauce is light -just right for me. Crust and sauce not breadsticks and dipping sauce. The toppings are actually a fixed price, zero or all. I rather enjoy that and have the choice to make a choice. The toppings do not hide the the crust and sauce and vice versa. And given their options - everyone should be able to find something for themselves, with a smile. The cost was 7$ (it is 6$ for a personal cheese at PH for the nephew that was with me that afternoon). I used to consider PH "cheap eats"; now its no eats. That afternoon I literally picked up that item for my nephew. The time I waited in line for the Blaze and PH pizzas were the same. The price of the pizza, cost of time waiting on my lunch break was another reason that I am saying that the value of Blaze pizza is better. I believe that if you give it a try you will not be dissappointed.

    This was really good. The sauce was flavorful (spicy) and I got extra cheese and they had every topping I wanted and some I did not. The service was friendly, quick and I thought it was a great deal for 7 bucks. I do highly recommend eating it there, as I think the crust will be pretty soggy after sitting in a box.

    I absolutely highly recommend Blaze. It's perfect for customizing exactly what you want to have on your pizza. You can ask for "more" anything and they won't charge you extra. Even though they put it in the over right there, it surprisingly doesn't take very long to get your order. Also, the s'more pie is DELICIOUS.

    Seriously good pizza. We went on opening day when they were offering a free pizza to everyone who came. There were easily 40 people ahead of us, but we didn't wait any longer than 20 minutes from sidewalk to eating hot pizza. I am not a thin crust fan under any circumstances, but theirs was incredible! They had someone coming outside to update everyone on the wait and to make sure everyone had a menu. When we got the pizza making line, everyone there called each of us by name and confirmed that whatever toppings they have added to the pizza was plentiful enough. Well worth the wait for a free pizza-after tasting it, I would have happily paid for it, it was that good. We will definitely be back with friends.

    Quick, cheap, and surprisingly delicious. The ingredients are not your boring run of the mill toppings. For about $6, you get to feel a little touch of gourmet. I had the Red Vine pizza, which features fancy mozzarella, and fresh basil. All the pizzas are thin crust, but the do offer gluten-free if you are so inclined.

    Pretty tasty pizza. Yes, the crust is thin, but it's soft yet crunchy, a great combo in my opinion. The sauce is great and you can get half/half toppings if you're indecisive. I'm not a fan of the black metal bar stools, hopefully that trend will fade soon, in the meantime I'll sit at one of the booths. Fresh, fun to order, and delicious. Friendly staff, too.

    Great concept. The crust, sauce, and ingredients are always delicious. My only complaint is that the service was rather rude the last time I went there. A boys working there were mocking my name and called out some comments to me as I was leaving the restaurant with my food. Classless!

    Very surprised with this pizza joint! Def a place to visit multiple times in a month. Pizza excellent and the closest to NY style Indy offers and can't beat the price for all that pizza. Fast easy and friendly.
