Seriously surprised to see this place has only been given three stars... My experience was much better than that. I ordered the Craft 2. I like variety and here you are able to choose two different items off the menu. I chose the Mexican Gumbo and the Naked Burrito. Both were so yummy! (Just fyi... naked burrito is a burrito bowl - no tortilla.) My baby daddy aka husband and best friend, sweetheart forever, ordered the pulled pork burrito... which was also so good. I know this because I had a couple bites. =] My little boy ordered the Lil' chicken nachos. These nachos were piled high... even with the chicken (which was so tender and tasty... again, yes, I had a bite). I was surprised to see so much food off a kid's menu. The setup is very much like Chipotle (and I love Chipotle). I do believe I prefer Qdoba by just a little bit. Not only is it closer to my home but it has many more options than Chipotle does. The ladies behind the counter were kind and very helpful. The restaurant itself was very clean. My family and I left very full and happy... and all under 20 bucks! We'll definitely be going back... oh yeah! =] =]

My first visit to Qdboda, so I'll make this short. Tacos are small and flavorless, way overpriced for what you get. Taco Bell would have been a much better choice. I can't figure out why they are still in business considering all the mom and pop places and Taco Bell in the area. Everything I've come to expect from a national chain restaurant.

Chipotle wannabes!!! Their food fails in comparison. The chicken tastes exactly like McDonald's or Wendy's grilled chicken. Tastes fake. Staff not too nice either.

It's okay. Overpriced and you have to pay extra for the veggies. Eat at Chipotle instead.

Should've waited in the long line @ Chipotle! Instead, I turned the corner and figured I'd try this place out. Never again! The young lady who rang me up (I'm assuming she was a manager because she had a different uniform than the others) was not pleasant at all! She was rude, lacked customer service skills, failed to tell me their beverage fountains were accessible to customers, yet didn't even know the types of beverages they served. She also asked to see my ID when I presented my debit card... Seriously?! I understand that may be required for a $300 dollar purchase on furniture but not on $10 of food (which I could've gotten cheaper, and a better quality at Chipotle). When I said thank you (biting my tongue from saying more) she didn't even say thank you or have a nice day, but went back to standing around. As a customer I was very displeased. And to top it off, the steak in my tacos were COLD. The service I received there explained why Chipotle had a line almost out the door and Qdoba was a ghost town. I do not recommend this location to anyone.

The worst thing has happened - No more breakfast burritos. Also every time I've gone - which is rare now - I feel awful after... Like maybe the food has been sitting out a little longer than it should. I was holding out but I think I'm officially switching my allegiance to Chipotle.

The food is very good, but the reason I'm giving it 5 stars is because of the service. There are so many great people who work at this Qdoba. They are friendly and courteous and go the extra effort to make their customers happy.

I love Qdoba! I loved it when I worked on the North Side of Chicago and I LOVE it that they popped up in my "neck of the woods"!

GREAT! This was my first time attending a Qdoba. At first i was a little skeptical, but the very friendly crew made the experience so much better. They let me sample a few items off the menu. I thought the food was very good. The setup is similar to a chiptole, but Qdoba has so much more to offer. They have a pick two. where you can have two things off the menu but just in a smaller portion. I was very full, almost forced my self to eat the second item. I WOULD COME BACK, PLUS BRING SOME FAMILY

I love this place. I nailed the chicken fajita burrito down to 500 calories since I can direct the staff on my fillings. I think they had too soft of an opening. They should have given out samples-I go at least 1x a week, never given a sample. But I keep going back, very healthy fast food.

A star. One measly, freaking star--and even that is being far too generous for the absolute underwhelming of my poor taste buds and the subpar service that is available to all those who have the unfortunate desire to try Qdoba. First indication of a problem? The hubs and I order veggie burritos. The man working the line (who also appears to be the manager) starts making one burrito and a burrito bowl. I clarify and state that I ordered a burrito, not a burrito bowl and he replies, "I heard burrito bowl!" while unceremoniously dumping everything from the bowl into a tortilla. Granted, transferring the ingredients from bowl to tortilla is fairly standard; however, managing to dump half of the contents onto the tortilla and the other half on the floor before shoving my quasi-full and now very messy burrito down the line, is not. Moments later, we are informed that they are out of the roasted veggies that comprise the eponymous burrito. Out? Out for lunch? Are they taking a break? Has the roasting process proven to be too much for the veggies to endure? What? After a few moments of prodding, we ascertain that the veggies are being prepared and will be up shortly. My friends, let me tell you that shortly is a relative term. In this instance, shortly meant that we would order, pay for our meals, and watch my daughter consume three (cold) chicken tacos before the veggies are ready. This brings me to another problem: the choice of television programming that plays Qdoba. The positioning of the televisions makes it difficult to find a spot where the television is not in plain view. Some people like to watch television while they eat. Fine, I get it. However, I should not return from filling my drink only to have my eleven-year-old daughter ask me to define dismemberment and inquire as to what it might have to do with a small child. Perhaps HLN and Nancy Grace should not be among the choices for innocuous television fodder. And, for the record, I could not bring myself to accurately define the term dismemberment for my daughter. Let's go back to the burritos, shall we? Oh, you forgot that we were still waiting? Yes. That appeared to be the problem at Qdoba, too. I really wanted those burritos to be good. I wanted to be able to write off this whole experience as a problem related to being a newly opened business. Maybe I could have done that had the burritos not been ice cold and the tomatoes been anything but extremely mealy. Gross. Complete and utter grossness. Seriously, Qdoba. We had such high hopes for you. Maybe your problems will work themselves out as you get your footing and find your groove. Unfortunately, I am not one to continue to watch a train wreck so I'll continue to hike it out to Chipotle whenever I need a burrito fix.

I usually come around lunch time here. The staff has always been friendly to me. The food is always fresh and prepared right in front of you. I think it's good for fast food. The service is why I return.

Yuppie city. If you're hungry go somewhere else. Tiny portions with monster price tags.

Cold food and workers fighting in front of the customers. Less fighting and quicker service might help this place.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
