I've been to this location three times already. The first two were after it had just opened, so I understood that the line out the door would explain why it took longer to get your order. The third time, however, is where things started to go off the rails. There were maybe six people in line this time, but for some reason, the line was simply not moving. The couple in front of me got so fed up they left without a word. By the time I reached the counter to order, I found the reason why. Someone was attempting to roll up a burrito, but was failing miserably. It took four attempts before the burrito was completed, while the whole line was being held up in the meantime. Hopefully, with time, things will run a lot smoothly, but as it stands right now, this location's got some issues to work out.

The only reason they are getting two stars is because of the food itself which is awesome. The service, though, will make you wait and wait and wait and wait and wait. Horrible service which is awfully slow. I've been to numerous other Chipotle restaurants and this one by far is the slowest line on the face of the earth.

I arrived at the restaurant at 7:30pm ish for takeout to find they were not serving pork due to short supply. Which was okay. However when we got up to the counter to order they were out of rice and chicken. We were told it would be 15 to 20 minute wait. As ridiculous as it was that they ran out I chose to wait. Then the next 4-5 people in line waited as well. We were not offered anything for our inconvenience. So we waited and waited. Suddenly we realize that new people that arrived are being served and checked out without us being informed first. On top of that they were almost out of rice again by the time we got served and they had to make more steak for one of my bowls. Everything I ordered was rationed. When I made a comment and asked for more meat to be added ( which was literally 4pcs) I was told I'd be charged double meat. This is when I lost it. The manager finally showed his face and compted my meal but when I got home my child's meat was not in the bag for his tacos so he ate a peanut butter sandwich for dinner after waiting 45 minutes for rice and chicken. Horrible Service!!!

Honestly, I have no clue what people are talking about, this one and the one in Munster LOAD the bowls with stuff, especially if you are a REAL MAN and order ingredients instead of being a picky little wuss. Yes, if you order rice and meat, you are not gonna get much, there's a crap ton of stuff to choose from so put on your adult shoes and eat some foods. I get the vegetarian salad bowl, with, rice, bean, sofitos (which is always fresh and hot) extra corn, pico, medium, cream, cheese, and guac, my bowl is seriously overloaded and I'm stuffed, best Chipotle ever. If you wanna see small bowls go to the ones in the NW suburbs. You get skimped there. My bf is from there and he HATED Chipotle until I took him to the ones by me, he won't even eat at any of the ones in Schaumburg because they give you NOTHING and the foods always COLD!

I just want to say that Chipotle is my FAVORITE place! I went in there two times this past week and the service went above and beyond! The food is great. I believe people tend to write negative reviews and am hoping people can see the positive of Chipotle in Highland!!!

Super tasty food, super fast, super nice staff! Chipotle is perfect. And they have amazing guac and chips, which is a perk. All Chipotle locations are great in my opinion, but this one is nicely located!

I've been to this Chipotle quite a few times since it first opened. It is always so slow, only one or two workers does serving and everything else. The management of this location definitely needs to improve. Fajitas are always too raw or too burnt. I would suggest you go to Munster location unless you're starving.

My mom and I decided to get some lunch from Chipotle. We wanted a chicken burrito but was told there was a 10 minute wait. We decided to wait. We were told to have a seat and when it was ready they would let us know. We were waiting for a while and I noticed that someone else asked for chicken. There was a guy in the back that was cutting up the chicken and the girl who was making the burrito went to him and took some chicken from him. Then there were a couple more people asking for chicken and she did the same for them. Meanwhile we are still waiting for our turn. I got upset and asked the girl if she forgot about us. She said no that the chicken was not ready yet. I told her that I saw them giving other people their food. She then looked at the guy cutting the chicken and called me over so she could take my order. I was upset about the whole situation and decided to leave. I won't be going to this location anymore.

I'm a huge Chipotle fan. I go there 60% of the time I leave the house, but this one wasn't the best experience. I usually get steak, but I was tempted to try new things after seeing how overdone the steak was. The cheese looked store-bought instead of shredded, smooth long and thick instead of finely shredded and grainy. I did get quite a bit of guacamole, which tasted much blander than I expected. Chipotle guacamole is about the only guac I like, but this one was off. This place is supposed to be about great food! Step it up if you want to be a real Chipotle.

My husband and I love Chipotle! It's our go-to fast food. But ....this specific location in Highland is definitely our least favorite in NW Indiana!!! Let's begin with the wait time- I've stood in many, many lines at other Chipotle restaurants but at least they keep them moving. This place??? Prepare to wait .... and wait .... and wait! Infact, consider bringing your pillow and a good book because it's gonna be awhile! 80% of the time you're waiting because they're out of something. Doesn't matter what time of day - seems they're never really prepared! You've grown old waiting for your turn .... it's finally come ..... you step up .... and they're out of rice .... or chicken .... or beans ....one time they were actually out of BOWLS for a burrito bowl!!! Now come on!!!!! THEN don't get me started on the portion size compared to other locations throughout the region. Skimpy! Tiny! Itty Bitty! My husband always orders "double barbacoa" ( and pays extra ) to get what's considered the standard portion anywhere else! Why doesn't management get this location up to speed ( literally ) ??
