Sick of the frozen yogurt fad? Pinocchio's is the place for you! The prices may seem high, but the serving sizes are huge! A small has three or four scoops of ice cream. The flavors are plentiful and unique - including some new ones for Halloween (candy corn in ice cream? I'm intrigued). Very clean establishment and the staff is very personable.

Hands down, no doubt, this is my favorite ice cream spot in the Indy area! #1 The ice cream is nearly perfect in both texture and flavor. #2 The staff is more than generous with the portions. The amount of ice cream you get in a small is probably equal to a large anywhere else. #3 All of the workers are friendly and happy to serve the best ice cream in Indy. Sometimes I will drive out of my way just to swing by Pinocchio's. This place never disappoints and I recommend it 100%!

This place is goooood. Really good. The portions are incredibly generous (the small was too big for my 7 year old, she's getting the 'kiddo' size next time) and they have a good variety of options. There's ice cream, sorbet, sherbert, and, be still my heart, gelato. I was a little disappointed that none of the gelato options sounded particularly appealing, but the ice cream I had made up for it. I went with the medium, which is two flavors, and got the double dark chocolate and vanilla bean. They were both fantastic. There's a good selection here for those who like traditional ice cream flavors, as well as plenty of choices for those who like a little more variety. The staff were very friendly and explained that all their ice cream is made in the shop daily, so the menu is ever-changing. Additionally, they also informed me that the original store is located on Sanibel Island and this location in Greenwood is the first franchise.

The good -- There's a great selection of ice cream, gelato, whatever it's called. The serving sizes are huge. The not-so-good -- I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, being a newer business, but they were really understaffed the night we visited. The staff was hard-working, but there were too many people and not enough help, so we were in line for too long. It's also a little pricey, so while that won't deter us from going back, just keep that in mind if you're looking for a cheap dessert.

Huge portions! The smalls were way too big for my children and they couldn't finish them. The flavors I tried weren't very flavorful. The mint chocolate chip wasn't very minty, the black raspberry chocolate chip wasn't very berry, the peanut butter one wasn't very peanut buttery. The watermelon had more flavor. Cute and clean inside. Young, friendly staff happy to give you samples and make suggestions.

The place seemed very clean. They have the standard flavors, but they also have unique flavors. I found it really interesting that they had tiramisu gelato. The portions were good sized. The staff wasn't the best but everyone working was extremely young, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. The ice cream was pretty good and I'll probably go back.
