Decent local pizza that reminds me of what Chicago Style Tavern Pie was before someone decided that overly thick crusted pizza is the norm. Great sage/sausage and tomato flavor, pie is also cut party style. Find coupons online.

I have lived in Greenwood since 99' and I live fairly close to Bob's pizza. I was made aware of them shortly after I moved here. I have figured out over the years that you either LOVE their pizza (practically proclaiming it's the best you ever had), or you loathe it and think it's swill. To be honest, I am one of the few that ride the line in the middle. I could take or leave it. The crust is palatable - especially if you like a thinner and crunchy variety of crust. I am not even entirely sure if they offer any other crust type options. They seem to be 'famous' for their sausage pizza. If you like sausage, they grind it up fine and lay it on thick. Since I have eliminated most meats - like beef and all processed meats ex: sausage and hot dogs from my diet, it's not what I gravitate to or like anymore. The sauce is thin and borderline flavorless; and I was always disappointed that they used canned mushrooms. Fresh is always best in my world - especially mushrooms. Their bread sticks are OK, and the cheesy bread is decent. I have never had any of their other food like the sandwiches. Their pizza is also a bit on the pricy side, but, for a locally owned /mom and pop owned type of business, the higher price point is basically a given. It's been awhile since I have had their pizza. And, sadly, I can't say I really miss it. Ever since Jockamo's hit the scene in Greenwood, I usually go there. And I just discovered Papa Murphy's and Jett's pizza recently. What the heck was I thinking by not going there and trying their offerings for years on end? Good stuff, and much better stuff!

Delivery was pretty fast. Overall, not a big fan. The "crust" was too tough/chewy/doughy for my preference. It was one of those where if you don't re-cut it yourself, you pull all the cheese off of the other pieces when you grab one. breadsticks were nothing outstanding either. Doubt I will go here again when there are so many other better options for the price.

I love their sandwiches. It is a little pricy, but worth it since they pile on toppings.

I'm picky about my pizza. The local chains are cheap on toppings and they have nothing on Bob's. I love how the sausage is ground up fine and mixed with the sauce. The cheese is slices of provolone laid on top of the pizza, it's gooey, cheesy, heaven!!

What can I say. I grew up in the neighborhood across the street from Bob's and have ate here when I was growing up. This is as others have wrote Hoosier style Pizza. I am nostalgic about it. I moved away from the neighborhood and just never thought much about heading that way to get a pie until last night. I introduced the children to the pizza I grew up eating. We ordered a large half pepperoni and half deluxe and a small cheese. (my kids all like a different pizza). They loved it. I am lucky that I got any at all. I think we will be venturing that direction again for pizza. If you haven't tried Bob's you should give them a try.

Bob's Tu Your Door Pizza is the essence of Hoosier style pizza so there is really no way of comparing this pie with New York or Chicago pizza. The crust is somewhere between thick and thin, cracker crisp on the end where it meets the cheese that has baked brown (my favorite part) and soft and chewy in the center, the mushrooms are from cans, which I love, the onions and veggies are not sautéed or caramelized, put on raw before the pizza bakes, as to still maintain a crisp hint of fresh, the sausage is crumby and piled thick, the sauce is light and thin, the cheese is thick, stringy and gooey, making this pie different than most and extraordinarily delicious. As of this review there are 2 negative reviews of Bob's on Yelp, someone from out of town, who probably doesn't understand Hoosier style pizza, and the guy who has lived here his whole life and doesn't like it. To him I say I really feel sorry for you man. I mean to grow up right there across from the best pizza on the south-side and not love it? To me is the same as growing up in Maine detesting lobster. Sad sad sad for you. You are missing out on a great joy of life my friend. I must say that this is one of the few times Yelp is not doing this pizza justice, if you really want to know what people think about this pizza, look up the fan pages devoted to Bob's on Facebook. These are people that love this pie as much as I do, so do yourself a favor and read what they say about it. This is the style of pizza I grew up on, and that I still crave to this day. There are other great Hoosier style pizzas in this city, Jacks for one, which is another great pie, but nothing beats a hot fresh Bob's Tu Your Door Pizza when you are craving something special. In addition, I would like to say to all of you cold pizza aficionados, Bob's leftover pizza is hands down the BEST cold pizza there ever was, or will be.

Growing up I have lived on Meridian and have went to Bob's a few times through the years. No matter how many times I give them a try they let me down. The dough tastes like it has been sitting out for ages and the cheese and sauce taste like it came right out of a can. The only thing that I think is halfway edible is their bread sticks (which i suspect are bought frozen) with garlic and tomato dipping sauce or should I say tomato water. Its a wonder that they have been in business so long.

GROSS!!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I just moved to Indianapolis and tried this place in one of our many trips back and forth from Chicago. This was the ONLY place that would deliver to our hotel so we tried it. Ive never had more disgusting pizza in my life. -The crust was nasty and tasted like they have them sitting around premade collecting dust. -The onions were raw and the mushrooms tasted like canned!! Yuck! -SALTY!!! If you ever cant find a salt lick for your cow just get a pizza here!! Maybe they just premake their pizzas and put them in a salt brine until ordered -We got a desert pizza and it was palatable-basically the only thing I could eat since the pizza was so bad -I do have to say my hubby loved it though-so I guess he can just order this for his lunch breaks! :S
