Came here for the Tuesday trivia night. I had a great time! The drink specials were pretty cool and the food was surprisingly good. The fried pickles was good but I was amazed with the fish and chips. I wasn't expecting the battered cod to be pretty tasty. The fries were crispy and I finished the entire thing. I had the chocolate chip cookie ala mode and I will probably skip it next time. Overall, it's a pretty good and chill place.

Yes, this is standard sports bar food, so why do I keep going back? It's more than the tasty fried pickles... it's the crowd and the casual atmosphere. The manager and staff at the Stacked Pickle (Carmel location, too, so pardon much of the repeat) are always nice and never make me feel like "The Worst Parent on the Planet" because I've brought my kids into a sports bar for their favorite chicken tenders. There's a variety of sports on the huge tvs. For spontaneous nights out, we've enjoyed a sparse karaoke night, Thirsty Thursday (3 and a nickel on all beer, wells, calls, house wine), and some great local bands on Saturday nights. Check their website for updates on the weekend live music. We like the Burgers and Wings plus our choosy kids love the Chicken Tenders. The fries are just fine and so are the Fish & Chips. Don't despair if you dog these fried favorites: there are just over 10 salads on the menu. We haven't tried the ribs or the two pasta dishes but other tables order them every time we visit. The Firecracker Shrimp is ok, too. Now, we've had "better" burgers, etc. elsewhere, yes. But if we drag the family here or meet up with friends, we know that everyone can order what's expected and none of it will be "bad." Nothing will be undercooked, burnt, overpeppered, or (godforbid) stretch any palates. And, sometimes, that's just what we're looking for.

Came for $2.50 pints on Tuesday. This is for any draft beer which is a great deal, although they were out of Sam Adams Oktoberfest yesterday. The beer list is above average in quality and quantity. I had the veggie burger and fries. The veggie burger was tasty and I was pleased to find it on the menu. The batter used to make the fries is delicious. My wife had a salad with chicken tenders on top. Overall, the menu is a bit more exciting and diverse than your standard bar food. There is a lot to choose from. The service was adequate, but nothing spectacular. Prices are reasonable which is a positive. The dining room and bar is just one giant open room that can be a little dark. They do have a lot of TV's and projection screens making it a good place to watch a game.

We went in for lunch just after they opened. We were the only people there. Wait staff was standing around entire visit just chit chatting - guessing because the manager had the same behavior. Didn't see anyone really working in enyire hour we were there. Floors were filthy. First table we sat at was covered in bits of food from the previous night. It took 10 minutes to get a waitress to come to us for drink orders, and 10 more minutes to get the drinks. Took over 20 minutes for food that wasnt that great. Only 1 other table of people came in the whole time we were there, and they were having an extremely difficult time getting their food order in which the manager had to end his conversation w his staff to go apologize, then went right back to socializing. This is not our first poor experience here, and we will not return.

Ok, I wanted to update because I found a couple of things I did like from the menu. The Fingers and Fries were very tasty and the honey mustard sauce was good too. I also got the Chili Con queso, that was also tasty. And i like that the queso was in a dish instead of lathered on top of the chips like some places do.

Hotel front desk clerk recommended this place and she should be banned from providing recommendations indefinitely. Nothing special at all. Wings were not very good and even our kids that the hamburgers were just fair. Onion rings were good though.

I've been hearing good things about the Stacked Pickle, like $5.00 burger nights on Mondays. So, I stopped in to watch the 4th Quarter of a Pacer game. Ordered a pint and the "Monster" Burger. Service was from the bartender, quick a friendly. She timed everything correctly, She did have 6 other customers at the bar. Back to the Burger. Just because it was on special doesn't mean they make the burger smaller! Fresh Beef patty,-cooked to order, medium for me- Mushrooms, Cheese,Onion, Lettuce & Side of Fries. I ended up taking half the Burger home. total bill with tax $10.80, Tipped well, $4.20, because of the VERY Good Service a VERY good Burger. New place for me, When I feel like having a VERY good burger, on Monday. Smokers outside the front door.

I went to the Stacked Pickle to watch a football game. They have large screen TVs and great food. Our waitress was awesome. It really adds to the environment when the staff are accommodating and friendly. I ordered the fish tacos and my husband ordered the fish and chips. Both dishes were good for a sports bar. The waitress kept our coke and iced tea full the entire time. I would visit again to watch the game, and enjoy a bite to eat.

This is the second location of the Stacked Pickle. The decor is not as nice as the original, and so far neither is anything else.

Great place for burgers, including turkey burgers. Good beer and burger specials also. Service is friendly and prompt. The original in Carmel has more ambience but the food is just as good. Of course, the fried pickles are definitely worth ordering.

I was looking for a great neighborhood bar to come have a drink and food after work. I found that place in The Stacked Pickle. The bartenders are great and the managers are fine people. Food is well priced and served quickly. Great specials and events just about every night of the week. The close at 1:30am which for those who want to have a great time but still get up early, this is a great stop. Be sure to say "Hey" to Steve,Josh, and my girl Heather when you head to the bar. Tell Them "Chad" sent ya!

BLAND BLAND BLAND. Well, all I can say is that the food is BLAND here. We tried it out for the first time today. Ordered the onion rings for an appetizer. Should have skipped them. ZERO flavor. We couldn't tell what we were eating. They were crunchy and hot...but had no taste. Their ranch dressing that came with the rings had no taste either. We ordered the burgers and my wife had cole slaw with her burger. Her burger was supposed to have thousand island dressing on it but we couldn't find any in it. We had to have the waitress bring over an extra cup of thousand island for the patty melt. I had the chili burger, aka the boilermaker. It wasn't bad but the meat was not seasoned well and the chili was hardly existent on the burger. It's not the typical chili burger where they just ladle the chili on. This chili was done SPARINGLY. I had the iced tea, too. It had zero tea flavor and was extremely weak. It tasted like they had made a batch of iced tea then made another one with the same batch of bags. The manager came over and gave us a free appetizer coupon and asked us to come back. However, the free appetizer isn't enough of a draw to bring us back. We asked the manager if the onion rings were frozen. He said they were. We asked about the burgers being so unseasoned. He said that it's better to under-season than over-season. All in all, skip this place if you like food with flavor. Even the cole slaw cried out for some salt and pepper. The atmosphere is nice, though. The place looked clean and our waitress and manager tried to help out as best they could. However, the food is so bland it's not worth a repeat trip. If you enjoy bland food, this is the place. Prices were average for sports bar food. $5 burger Monday is a good deal if the burger is seasoned. 3 stars just for the $5 burger Monday, open feeling, and manager willing to come over and talk.

We frequent this restaurant often but the experience tonight will keep me from going back. Thought we would watch some games and grab a beer. Manager please take note: the website says Thursdays are three and a nickle at the stacked pickle, the signs in the place say Thursdays are three and a nickle at the stacked pickle, and the menus say Thursdays are three and a nickle at the stacked pickle. Went to order our beers and this was not the case. Asked to see the manager who told me that the special does not apply during NCAA tournament time. What?????? This is one of the busiest times of year and they decide to do this. Do they not know how to treat customers? I have never heard of this. I was at Scotty's Brewhouse earlier in the day and is was there normal specials. It didn't matter that it was tournament time or not. I think I will just drive on by the next time.

I came to the Pickle on St. Patrick's Day afternoon and they were pretty empty which I find nice. I ordered their birthday cake martini to start which was delicious! It does taste like birthday cake. I also had their pork tenderloin sandwich which is huge...almost as big as my head. It wasn't too greasy and plenty messy but I would go as far as saying they have one of the best tenderloin sandwiches in all of Indy. This is a good spot for a tenderloin or just regular bar food type stuff.

I went to support Pub Theology. The event was great and I hope to return to Stacked Pickles for that reason. I'll just have to get there early again since I think the band drew a crowd. The music was awesome (although later we had to be seated by the speakers). The speakers / talkers were great in presenting the message on this monthly support topic / cause of breast cancer awareness. As for the food, it is not the best I ever had. This time I did not try their famous items like burgers, wings, etc. I had the blackened chicken pasta and steak sandwich. The chicken did not seem to have a strong blackened taste. It was also a little weird to have cauliflower and carrots in the entree. The steak sandwich and fries were good. My coupon helped. Next time on Wed. maybe I'll try their special on wings.

This is your standard chain sports bar. The beer selection is OK but, nothing to get excited about. The food is prepared well but, nothing to write home about. Just about everything here is average. Not bad, not great. I give the staff points for handling large groups well. They have the TV's and pool tables that you'd expect in a sports bar. If you just want to watch a game, eat a forgettable burger, and drink beer, this is the place for you.

Coming here around midnight on a Saturday night, it had thinned out quite a bit after the March Madness games. It was pretty evident that the business was winding down after the long day as staff were cleaning tables, sweeping floors, etc. Had the chicken nachos. There was an abundance of everything - chips, chicken, guacamole, sour creme, olives, etc. For a midnight snack or bar food, I think it was an above average nacho serving - taste and size.

We visited the Stacked Pickle as a fundraiser for the football team. I dont think they were prepared for us. We waited for almost 20 minutes before we were ever acknowledged by any staff member. The server apologized and said he was going to get someone. We waited another 10 minutes before someone arrived (and another 10 minutes before the first server asked had someone helped us yet). We ordered our drinks and food together. Drinks in an appropriate amount of time. The food took another 30 minutes. BBQ wings (which were on special) and fried pickles should not take that long. Our server apologized every time he walked by. I then noticed that other tables were also waiting on their food. The staff was nice, just very slow. The food was just okay. Nothing that makes me want to return. For the football team, I will go back.

This was my first time eating here and I was pleasantly surprised. They offer a wide menu variety and plenty of beers to choose from. Family-friendly and a fun time for everyone at the stacked pickle

We dropped in to see a friend of play music there, and have some drinks and dessert. The hostess kind of waved us towards a table, and we got there and it was wet and dirty, although the dishes from the previous diners had been removed. Two employees were standing about 10 feet away from us carrying on a conversation. We waited, and waited, and waited, and neither of them made a move to clean the table, so my wife found a rag and cleaned it. We were seated, ordered our dessert (chocolate cake) and drinks, and the cake came promptly. I wish I could say the same for the silverware. :( But it finally arrived and we had a piece of mediocre cake. We enjoyed the music and the company of friends, but the rest of the experience? Not so much.

Prior to ever actually stepping foot in this place, I have always just ordered off "Order-In" which I will continue to do. Their wings and fries are great junkie bar food. However, I have been twice to enjoy the atmosphere and both times was just "meh". First, I went with a girlfriend for a glass of wine on what we thought would be a "quiet" Wednesday night. It was far from quiet, quite the opposite and they had no clean wine glasses so we drank our red out of a goblet style glass. It wasn't that big of a deal and wine is wine but it was just a bit "whatever" and a bit of an eye roll situation. This past weekend, my hubby and I scored a sitter for the Colts game and chose this location to watch. My husband loves craft beer. He ordered FIVE beers off the menu that they did not have. If he wanted craft, he wasn't getting it here especially on tap. In addition to not having one single beer he wanted to order, the wait staff basically hung out in the corner and no manager made an effort to apologize for the lack of offerings. I don't care if you run out and realize these things happen but it's Playoff weekend, you have it on the menu and the least your staff could do is say "I'm sorry about that ...let me offer you XYZ beer instead". There is a way to handle dissatisfied customers and this wasn't it. In addition, we left early ...and will not be back. Not worth it with SO MANY OTHER OPTIONS out there. I don't recommend this location.

Went to watch the game last night. Great atmosphere. I was dissappointed the first time I ate here and got the turkey-burger but last night I have the bar-b-que pork and it was FANTASTIC!!! Best I have had and I will get again!!

The beer list is not impressive, but they have a couple craft options. This place is a sports bar first and foremost. That means its loud and there are TVs all over the place. The food here is good for bar food, but its still bar food. They are well known for their fried pickles, and they do a great job with these. They can be a little bit greasy but I think that's a risk you run when getting deep fried vegetables. I got a ranch burger with some onion rings on it. The burger was done ok, I would have liked more pink but I understand that a bar is going to err or the side of caution and go closer to medium. The flavor combination was nice. Not the most original toppings in the world but good stuff. The french fries were the star of the night. They have a beer batter on them. They were crisp and golden on the outside with a perfect warm fluffy potato on the inside. If you stop by, just remember its sports bar. It will be loud.

We were there last evening. It took 20 minutes for part of our party to even get beers ordered upon arrival! This was the first clue. The waiter was running around like a crazy man, yet accomplishing nothing. The rest of the staff was meandering around. There were only 3 adults and 2 children at our table and the place was half empty. Our dining experience took 3 hours! Food was your typical pre-made, frozen bar food. Not good. Service bad, food bad. Won't be back.

After arriving at this location during what one would think is the peak lunch hour, I discovered that the restaurant was almost empty and the waiters and waitresses were standing around talking to each other. It took us about 10 minutes for someone to seat us. After being sat, the table was dirty. The waitress came to our table about 10 minutes after we had been sat also. We had had our drinks empty on table for awhile and noticed our waitress texting on her phone and not paying attention to her customers. One of the workers brought his young children to work with him and they were running all around the restaurant. I know that sometimes there are circumstances to which you have to do what you have to do, but atleast bring the children something to do while your "working". I ordered the chicken wrap and it was fairly good, but the fries that came along with it were hard and seemed to have sat under the heat lamp for well too long. Our dishes were sitting on our table for well over 15 minutes before the waitress cared to come over and not have our check prepared. We were not asked once by our waitress if there was anything she could get us and our food was brought to us by someone else who didnt even care to look us in the eye. Overall, the food was alright, typical bar food and the customer service was horrible. I hope that for other customers sake that this was a fluke and that this restaurant is normally ran better than it was that day.

I was in last night for the last half of the colts game. I hadn't been in for a few month's since there was a management change for the worse! The waiter was more interested in cleaning off empty tables instead of taking care of customers that were still there. I Use to go at least once a week and always had a good experience. I would take my family there as well, but not anymore I gave it another chance after the management change. The restroom was in desperate need of some cleaning!

this place is you neighborhood sports bar. They have giant tv screens and good sound for the ones that indiana plays in creating a good environment. They have great drink and food specials on weekdays and have a good beer selection. on the 3 times i have been there the people working there have been friendly and accommodating with bigger groups. i think i might choose this place to watch future games on weekdays just like i have done in the past. only thing really left wanting is their food selection but their appetizers are decent enough to warrant 3 stars.
