Updated... OCT 2014 They turned the sound down, put more appropriate TV shows and music on and got back to what made them a favorite of ours. Summer 2013 Not for kids anymore after the fire. After they had the fire they put in a ton of flat panels. So now its too loud and too many TVs for a family dinner, BUT it's still great place for solid food and watching a game. Sometimes the service can be a little weak, as the staffers in the dining area are generally teenagers who are too busy chatting with other teenaged co-workers vs being focused on their job. That said everyone is friendly and food always pretty solid, so if you can be patient and want lots of TVs, then you'll like this place.

First time I went service was great! Food was delicious, not a single complaint! The second time we were seated, and that was the last time we were acknowledged by the staff. Every table around us was seated after us and had put in their orders before we got up and left. I'm sure there was a miscommunication somewhere but we waited for 30 minutes and weren't even looked at. Unacceptable.

CR Heroes is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Great service and really good food. I am so impressed by Steph Boehm, the owner, she gives so much back to the community, there seems to be a school or community night all the time, not to mention how many times I personally have seen her make a donation to customers that stop in and ask if she can donate a gift certificate for a cause they are supporting. If you are looking for a great meal at reasonable prices, check this place out, you will not be sorry.

We have lived a few miles away for 7 years and never knew this gem was so close! My 5 year old loves super hero's and this place caters to her love. We have been requesting the super hero corner every couple of weeks and they always hold it for us. Not to mention they have THE BEST tenderloin around and kids eat free Tuesdays with face painting & balloon animals. They have a nice bar that separates from the dining room and a nice drink menu. Highly recommended!

Great food, awesome family environment. Very nice bar separate from the main eating area. All-around perfect place to go for all occasions.

NOT a $ restaurant, more like $$. Great service, really good food. Portion sizes are huge, which justifies the price. Chicken and waffles are better than Maxines. Huge booths to accommodate larger parties.

My husband and I love this place. Nice atmosphere and great food! Homemade chips and queso appetizer is delicious!! Everything we've tried on the menu has been great: breaded tenderloin, Italian beef, ultimate grilled cheese blt, wings, salads, and lots left to try. Had withdrawal when they closed because of the fire, but they've remodeled and reopened and it's better than ever! You can even call in a to go order and they'll bring it out to your car in the back lot. Love it!!

Dining here while on a business trip. I'm delighted to see Ohio State University represented here via flag hanging from the ceiling. This joint is divided into two sections. One is a dining room while the other is a bar with limited table options. The dining room was full due to Tuesday being family night including balloon artist, etc for young children. Typical bar options with a few specials and craft beer selections. Nice ambiance in the bar though not a place for a large group. Televisions are plentiful to watch your favorite Indiana (or Ohio State) sports teams. As for food I tried some boneless wings tossed in a combination of sweet bbq and hot sauce. Simply delicious and the chicken was actually that...chicken...cut up pieces of chicken breast with a light breading. A terrific start to my meal. I also tried the blackened-blue burger which was cooked to order (and actually medium per my request). You know how some places ask for a desired temperature and then you get it raw or well done anyway? Not here. The meaning of medium was understood. A feather in their cap: The menu indicates that service members, veterans, police and fire folks all receive a discount (not on lunch or drinks or gift certificates) when proper id is presented. Thank you!

Rarely do I post 5 star reviews but this "family pub" in Fishers definitely deserves it. Every time my wife and I go here our experience is consistently exceptional. Everything here is made in house and perfectly seasoned and cooked. Their soft pretzels are better than any I've ever had. Always golden brown, a little crunchy, and a little chewy. The breaded tenderloin with their house made garlic mayo may be the best in the state. Certainly it's the best I've ever had. In this state that is really saying something. The fries are always fresh and hand cut. My wife always gets the chicken tenders and loves the crispy well seasoned breading. Make sure that you get them with their out of this world house made ranch dressing for dipping. Also any of their burgers or their philly cheese steak are a good cjoice as well. Hell actually I've never ordered something here that I didn't like. On top of all that the staff is always friendly, the hero themed decor is fun, they have plenty of tvs to watch the game, and they have a full bar separate from the main dining area if you're so inclined.

I've eaten here a few times, and the service is always good. Great family atmosphere! The kids & parents will also enjoy gazing at the many different hero's (fictional & real) that line the walls. Reasonably priced too!

Great service. Best tenderloin sandwiches around (love the garlic mayo!). Side salads are beyond fresh. Great atmosphere. We love this place!

After moving to the Castleton area recently, my boyfriend and I have made an effort to try new places. This was one of them, and we absolutely loved it. The environment was so unique with it's tribute to heroes of all kinds. The food was great (I had the chicken and waffles.) They feed you a lot for the price as well. Good places for families and kids of all ages!

We went here after reading another persons blog. We have driven by it numerous times but never stopped. The blog we read was about the great fried tenderloin sandwich (called "Hoosier Daddy") and since we are big tenderloin fans we decided to give it a try. We went on Saturday around 4PM, and were the only ones in the restaurant. I ordered the "Triple Play" which is three mini sandwiches--your choice cheese burger, fried chicken sandwich or mimi-fried tenderloin. I choose one of each----I LOVED the mini-tenderloin, enjoyed the chicken, and the burger was ok. I upgraded to Onion Rings and was dissapointed they were not homemade. They offer a tower of onion ring appetizer which are homemade, so I was confused why they give you "out of the box" onion rings as the upgrade (the meal comes w/fries). Both the chicken and tenderloin were hand dipped and the batter was crispy and flavorful and held up nicely (meaning the breading didn't fall off when you bit it). I had lots of pickles and nice thick slices of red onions, which I really appreciated (they offer lettuce and tomoatos which I passed on (but my boyfriend got and they looked really fresh. My BF got the Hoosier Daddy and thought the sandwich was good (which in a normal persons book would be great) and his fries were ok. We will defintely go back and I will get the fried tenderloin sandwich--it was really that good.

We have ate here twice and enjoyed it both times. The pretzels are an awesome appetizer and the portions on the meals are generous. The staff is very good and the atmosphere makes it a great place to take the whole family to

I guess to give this place an accurate review, you must know it's family friendly. I mean family as in children between ages of 0 to 10. Soooo, if you don't come with kids those ages you will probably not like this place. Their menu items are above average with the Hoosier Daddy, Momma, and Baby tenderloin sandwiches being the best. I'm digging their theme nights. And if our family of 4 are going to grab a dinner that involves novelty drinks and adult drinks, I think this is where we will start going. There was a magician on Saturdays. I'm sure these tricks are old to some, and you probably wonder a dinner magician? But he was really good and made the experience a fun one for us. Yay, I'm a fan!!

Great food....really. However the service wasnt all that great. Prices were fair. Their selection was pretty cool. Some really unique items. We would go back but only if you have time to wait. They do have a game room for kids which is nice.

Great family dining! Great food especially the Crispers and Queso...they are delicious! We love that their is an area for the families and a side for adults only. We love all the TVs especially for watching football, basketball etc. Highly recommend everyone give it a try!

This place is only worthy of its current (4 star) rating if you are really in the mood for deep-fried food, food smothered in cheese, or ranch dressing. If you are, great! If you aren't, go elsewhere. Positives: Fun, kid-friendly decor; it's a local establishment and coming here is better than patronizing one of the many nearby chain restaurants; gluten-free options. Negatives: I've tried to order from among the few healthier options on the menu on multiple occasions and been disappointed -- the food is either bland or overly salted. I wish I liked this place!

Hubby and I went last Friday night for the first time. It doesn't look like much driving by, it's in a strip mall with a few other places. We didn't realize that there are two separate sides, one for family dining and the other more of a dive bar. Friday night at 730, the family side was super busy and loud. We opted for the bar side which was completely empty. We ordered pretzels as an app and holy cats, they're amazing. Puts Auntie Ann's to shame. I could eat them all day long, hot and buttery on the outside, fluffy goodness on the inside. The ranch and cheese served with were tasty too. Hubby ordered the chicken and noodles which he devoured. He proclaimed they're almost as good as homemade. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and fries. The chicken was a bit dry, but nothing honey mustard couldn't fix. Fries are good, nothing earth shattering. The menu is extensive, nice range of options. Service was prompt and food probably took 20 minutes. We love a good hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, they definitely have it. Decent food food for a decent price.

I come here every weekend with my friends, and I love the atmosphere and all around good feeling this place has on a busy night. The food is absolutely delicious, but if you're looking for something healthy to eat, this is not the place. However, greasy food is delicious and so is the menu. You can't miss trivia night every Thursday. Service is usually good, every once in a while there will be a waiter or waitress with a bad attitude. One in particular wouldn't let my friend order from the kids menu when he was short a few bucks, which was disappointing seeing as it really doesn't make a difference at all.

The food quality is inconsistent. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. The soft pretzels are amazing so if you just want an appetizer & cocktail, is go there for sure

I have been here a few times, mostly for lunch. Mostly sandwiches. Food is okay, but service can be very spotty. Today was particularly dismal.
