It was perfect. If driving through or a local to the area this Vietnamese restaurant is a big A+. This was hands down my best experience at a restaurant in Evansville. We ordered the 11 and 12. Both were great. The broth was on point. Maybe next time I will order an appetizer. The overall atmosphere was great and the waitress we had was very friendly and nice. Thanks again guys!

Food is always great. This once was quiet place to have lunch. Glad people have caught on. Always seems packed lately which will tell you everything you need to know about their food. The restaurant itself is nothing special. Little joint in a strip mall. But the food is great. Fresh ingredients. Unbelievably flavorable broths. Do yourself a favor and try the seafood pho #14.

This is a rock solid 4/5 stars. I visited this restaurant a few times on my trip to Evansville. I had the seafood Pho the first time and couldn't resist it from there on out. It featured shrimp, scallops and (imitation) crab in healthy amounts. It came with a single slice of fresh jalapeno for a kick. After the first time, I requested a few extra slices for just the right spice. The basil was fresh, the jalapeno was fresh, bean sprouts were fresh, all the veggies were great. The only minor downside was the use of imitation crab. I would have preferred genuine crab (and had no problems paying a bit more). The spring rolls didn't really do it for me. I'm a little unaccustomed to noodles being in there. Also with the veggies being raw and the shell being uncooked, it made for a weird tough/chewy combo. All in all, a great little place and I'd be happy to go back again.

This restaurant is the real deal, I've had plenty of good and great Vietnamese in other larger cities and I was very pleased that the quality of the meal here is top-notch! The broth for the Pho is done right, as in, they put in the multiple hours of effort that it takes to make great broth. There were five of us in our party and everyone enjoyed their meals. This place is a must visit if you're in the mood for Vietnamese.

EVANSVILLE you are very fortunate... You only have one pho/vietnamese restaurant and it's exceptional. I live in Toronto (100's of Pho/Vietamese restaurants) and it's as good as the best in this city; if I lived in Evansville (don't really want to...) I would return, it's really good food, nice staff.

I love this place. Every time I come here it never disappoints. Service is great and the food comes out fast. The waiter is always helpful and very funny. Its also a stop when I'm Evansville.

This is my first time to Evansville and first time to "Vietnam Cuisine"; not my first experience with Vietnamese cuisine (get it?). I arrived within the last hour of business after spending 8 hours driving from Roanoke, VA. Ugghh. It was quiet, save for a table of seven men that were getting together for an after work meal. There were about 3 other walk-ins and a couple of eat-in singles. It was Monday. In my experience Monday's can be very slow. A University aged young lady was my server who quickly set about trying to get my order to the table. She was thwarted by the seven that made up the after work gang, who got their order in ahead of me. I think it slowed things down some; not an issue. I enjoyed my Oolong tea, while trying to understand why there was an old Sony TV placed about 12 feet up the wall. I was tempted to shoot drinking straw wrappers up there; no not really. In any case I ordered the seafood pho. The seafood pho was sumptuous. Shrimp, scallops, imitation crab were the feature in the broth. I have no issue with imitation crab in Indiana. Think about the flash freeze and shipping/storage time for real crab and your setting yourself up for either a gastric disaster or a $$$$ check. I also ordered egg rolls. They were smallish, but the sauce was a delicate sweet vinegar-ish mixture that was subtle. The sauce was served sparingly and I wanted more. My palate isn't sophisticated enough to unpack the ingredients. I also ordered the spring rolls. I love the Vietnamese version of spring rolls; wrapped in a translucent rice roll up with fresh shredded vegetables. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was OK, but thinking back on it, if I go back, and I WILL, I'll ask for the egg roll sauce with the spring rolls. Vietnam Cuisine is well worth the trip and produced a sound satisfied sleep that night after a long trip to Evansville.

As sad as I am that there is not a veggie broth-based pho with tofu, there are still a few options for vegans and vegetarians. The hot pot with tofu is absolutely delicious and, according to my friends who sampled a bit, possibly even better than the pho itself. For omnivores, the hot pot with seafood looks amazing too. The food is very filling and generously portioned, so you receive a lot for your money. I have visited about three times and never had a problem with the service. I plan on making more trips in the future.

Stopped by after reading all the great Yelp reviews. Did carry out and the man working the counter was very nice. Got both egg rolls and spring rolls. They were both delicious. I highly recommend the egg rolls, I have always preferred Vietnamese egg rolls to Chinese ones, and these maybe one of the best restaurant ones I have ever had. Also got lemongrass pork chops and got 2 huge pieces with plenty of rice. Great to see a quality affordable Vietnamese place in Evansville!

I was very impressed with this place! The food was quite amazing and flavorful... This was my first visit to this restaurant and couldn't have had a better experience! The owner was very very friendly and talkative... filling me in on any ignorance i had of the menu...lol... which was a lot:) I'm definitely a repeat customer and recommend you try this place as well. Try the #34!

The pho here is better than in Memphis I can tell you that. The broth was okay. It had flavor and the noodles were cooked well. The springs rolls had too much lettuce, and not enough noodles. This is the only Vietnamese restaurant in Evansville. The prices are reasonable, and if I lived here, I would be okay coming here for my Vietnamese food needs.

I love Vietnamese and now can say I have a spot in Evansville, IN. The grilled stuffed grape leaves are something I'd never had before and were spectacular. The place is clean. The staff is helpful. Saw a lot of take away orders whilst I was dining.

Really solid restaurant. Nice interior and service. Food well prepared with a broad menu. Fish sauce is legit. True, pho broth is the quick prep kind and not the slow stuff, but that's rather typical for a small place in the Midwest. Prices are reasonable and restrooms clean and modern. Entrance to the restaurant is rough. Looks like the Tet Offensive just rolled through the streets. But much nicer inside.

The pho is OK, wish they would take the time to make the broth better. Anyone who has eaten pho all their lives, like me, know that the broth is the star of the soup. I normally like tripes and everything else that comes in the soup. My tripe tasted very much like it had hardly been rinsed before being placed in my pho bowl, hence it still tasted like...the animal. The service was okay. Our server was very nice but she only came back to check on us once after taking our order. I would only eat here if I had a really bad craving for pho and I would only order the soup bowl with beef meatballs.

Pho was great!! Just what we needed today!! Service was great, if people around here get out of the box and enjoy something but a cheeseburger, they would be presently surprised!!

Smart g does not know what he's talking about. I'm vietnamese and this is as authentic as it comes and I'm a picky eater. Awesome food, and if you want your pho to taste better ask for NUOC BEO it's the oil at the top of the broth that they don't give you unless you ask for it. Five thumbs up (if I have five thumbs). Except for the tripe...

I'm not quite understanding the "terrible" review, because I love this place! The pho is authentic and delicious! My husband ordered a pork curry dish that was amazing, and everything tasted very fresh. The service is great, fast, and the staff is very friendly and personable. The portions are also HUGE. You might look at the menu and think, "$7 for soup seems kind of steep," but it's enough soup to feed like 4 people! The spring rolls might be the best I've ever had. The prices are good too, you'll spend as much as you would at a fast food restaurant, but leave feeling satisfied, not gross, and very full!

I love this place. I eat here almost every week. The pork or chicken noodle bowl is delish. The pho is wonderful. It is as good as any Vietnamese food I have had anywhere else. One of my top 5 favorite restaurants in Evansville.

This place is terrible. Not in the, "I'm going to puke," kind of way, but in the "I can't believe they're passing this off as Vietnamese food" way. When I came through, their pho didn't even have the proper broth--in fact, it tasted like a beef broth that came from a can. Also, their spring rolls had barbeque pork in them, and the pork was warm. W.T.F. Since when did spring rolls have barbeque pork? Wait a second, since when were spring rolls warm? And seriously, Vietnamese Cuisine? That's what you name your restaurant? Sweet. I'll stop by, on my way to pick up a new car stereo at Loud Ass Speakas (I decided spelling it that way makes it more "street," which is what I assume the owner of a car stereo shop would be gunning for). The only reason this place gets two stars is because a.) they at least had the guts to open a Vietnamese restaurant in Evansville, Indiana of all places, and b.) they have a painting--by definition, I guess it's a fresco--that says "Pho Fever." I don't care how bad your food is, that's awesome.

Mmm... green papaya salad with tofu and ginger tofu noodles make my tummy happy! Seriously, the flavors here are fantastic-- my only wish is that the spring rolls had a bit more taste to them. The broccoli in the veggie noodles is especially good and I could probably eat the papaya salad every day. I absolutely love that they have good vegetarian options! The owners are very friendly and gracious-- wonderful energy in the place. I will definitely be back often. **Star added because it's in Evansville, IN
