Yummy Sangria + Divinely prepared dishes = I'm a fan! Had the Res Sangria and an addict now!! The perfect blend of fruit, fizz and wine. Tried several dishes ...but the fav was the Meatballs and Linguini ...but everything was well prepared and flavorful. I'm here four more days. I'll be back!!

Great service, great drinks, and great food. Evansville should be honored to have such a wonderful tapas restaurant downtown.

Delicious We had two specials. One was shrimp with scallops and the other was a new open faced chorizo sandwich. The sangria is made there and it is excellent. All the food is made to order and was delicious. We also had 'tabla fria ' which had cheeses and olives. Very good. We also had a hummus made from garbanzo beans.

Wonderful restaurant! After walking in, I was made to feel at home and treated as part of the family arriving for dinner. Had the Mejillones (good), the Calabacines (great), the Espinaca Y Garbanzos (filling), and the Churros Con Chocolate (great again). Will definitely return when traveling through again.

1st time at Eclipse tonight. Food was fantastic. We had scallops - perfectly cooked - best in town. The lamb was excellent. We also had the almonds, goat cheese and honey. It was decadent it was so good. I had house red - it was a solid wine - lots of flavor. The waiter did an excellent job - had great recommendations for us. Will definitely be back!!!!

The atmosphere, service, food and sangria were all out of this world. This is a great cozy place that makes an outstanding impression. The perfect place for a great variety of food. Run, don't walk to this place.

Pulpo a la Gallega way overpriced. A few potatoes and a can of octopus in olive oil would have both tasted better and a better value. Our family just returned from a 3 week trip to Spain and this did not resemble what we had in Spain. Very dissatisfied.

Food is great. The ambience is excellent. Hosts and staff are both friendly and attentive. I really would love to be a regular guest; unfortunately for us the price point is a bit high for our family. If not so, I would rank Eclipse 5 stars in EVV. Instead I have to wait with great anticipation that next special occasion. Great place for dates, and anniversary outings. I look forward to my next visit.

Jeez o flip. For 100$ per person I could eat at a Michelin star place or eat an enormous pile of much higher quality tapas in louisville. Evv is a captive market in the boonies, I guess. So, food quality was pretty good but - dayum! So far as atmosphere goes, the place is intimate, with small booths lining one wall and an eclectic collection of what looks like student artwork on the opposite wall - every piece of it giving a literal interpretation of the establisment's name.

I tried to redeem a restaurant.com coupon last evening, but was told that they would not honor the coupon. We did stay but the evening started on a sour note. The food is uneven. Some dishes were very tasty, others were disappointing. The best dish was the Setas Rellenas ($8 for one stuffed mushroom). It was billed as stuffed wild mushrooms, but it was just a portabello. Still, very tasty. The Sangria ($13 for a half liter) was good. The biggest disappointment was the Paella Mixta ($11). It was about a cup of seasoned long-grain rice (not Valencia, not Arborrio). There were two pieces of steamed shrimp and two unseasoned mussels on top, and a bit of chorizo mixed in. The sofrito was subtle. If there was any saffron in the dish, I couldn't see it, taste it or smell it. The socarrat, the crusty fond that forms on well made paella, was also missing. There were other disappointments. The Pollo Espana ($9) is a small portion of a chicken breast served with a tablespoon or two of broth. It was small, overcooked, dry and bland. The dominant flavor in the Parrillaba Mixta's ($11) chorizo was salt, and the texture of cubed beef was very chewy. Tapas is bar food. When it's good, it's very good, but it's simple food. It's not gourmet. This simple restaurant has priced its food far out of its league. It is a very expensive restaurant. Our bill for two people was close to $100 (only 1 half liter of Sangria). If every thing had been perfect, it wouldn't have been worth half that. Given the disappointments, I doubt I'll ever go back.

Amazing food but, a small place. If you want to go get a reservation or go during an off hour. Awesome service and the portions are great to share! Can be expensive and make sure to watch the bill...

Over priced for what you get. Left hungry. Good if it's on the company dime.

We went for lunch - it was quick and mostly delicious. I'd get the cheese and spinach stuffed meatballs.

Great food. Small portions. Total bill was kind of high, which is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars. Will be back but mainly for a special occasion place unless prices are lowered and/or quantities are adjusted.

I love the rich and cozy interior of this place. The staff were personable (friendly in a good way) and efficient. Knew the wines well, too. The menu has traditional food you find throughout Spain... the everyday food like tortilla (an omelet served room temp). The problem is... although the food is the same as in Spain, the price isn't. Two people should be prepared to spend $20 for a glass of wine each and enough of one dish get a taste, or a lot of $ to quench any amount of appetite. The tortilla, eggplant, and sandwich with jamon serrano were fine, and it was fun and nostalgic to be able to order the Spanish food I remember, but like I said the food is overpriced. (Maybe I should expect this at an American tapas restaurant). The churros (fried donut straws) were awesome -- the order came with 2 small churros coated in sugar. The hot chocolate was a disappointment. $5 for Swiss Miss?! Ok, it might not have been hot chocolate from a packet (still not sure), but it wasn't the rich, thick chocolate served in Spain. I want to go back here for the atmosphere, drinks, and a dessert/ appetizer. If I'm hungry, I'll eat at home ahead of time.

This place has only been open a couple of weeks from what I was told. The atmosphere is great and intimate. They have a couple of bar seats, booths, and tables both inside and out. It's a bit dark but not dark to the point that you are bringing out extra light.... just soft. The food was good. Not great but definitely good. The stuffed meatballs were tasty but the scallops were definitely undercooked. For dessert.... splurge with the tres leches. I just wish the piece would have been a bit bigger. This place has a great feel and could very well be a huge hit. The great little date place or place where friends can get together and chat over a carafe of sangria or a bottle of Spanish wine. Evansville.... give it a chance.

So glad Evansville has a tapas restaurant. Love tapas. Cute little place. Nice decor with not too many tables, but we were able to sit right down. Great selection of tapas on the menu. There were a lot of choices, some redundant, but overall there was plenty to select from. Tapas portions are typically small, but felt that these were pretty small given the price. Most were in the $9 & up range, & the amount of food varied given the choice. Even though it was a little pricey, the food was delicious, so I didn't feel too shorted because it was pretty good quality. I would go back again, but given the price it would have to be more of a nice occasion. If the prices a little lower, I would visit much more frequently.

Loved it! My husband and I went here for my birthday. The sangria was delicious, and all the tapas were fantastic! I especially loved the scallops and the mini burgers.
