Locally owned coffee house, everything made to order even the iced tea is made fresh as you order it! Very nice, quiet environment or local musicians play on different nights.
I love stopping by here. I didn't used to live in town, but made it a priority to stop for coffee at least once during my visits. Now that I'm back in town I can see it becoming a weekly affair :)
Great coffee, tea, mocha, Chai selection. great home made cookies, wi-fi, board games, great atmosphere, can host live music. My favorite coffee shop in Fort Wayne area.

In town the other night and was HUNGRY. It was late and saw that TB was open, so decided to drop in and grab some food. My impressions of the place are: 1) Staff is knowledgeable of the food they serve there 2) Staff was very helpful and friendly 3) Place was clean, very clean (was very glad to see that it was!) As the CC area is a bit lacking in real Mexican food, I have to say that the offerings at TB are at least equal to or better than the "Mexican" places we have been to in quality and taste, but then they are a chain and can come up with good recipes. I know that when I am in the CC area and its late or want some "Mexican" food (one of my favorite types), I will be going to TB.

Hankering to go to the lake and get some good grub while you are at it? If so, this is your place. Don't let the name fool you, this is a restaurant that serves quite a selection of beers and other alcohols, not a good old-fashioned "beer joint" that serves mediocre foodstuffs. Although its a bit off the beaten path, its worth the trip, in my estimation. The food was varied, I had fish, wife a steak (on 1st trip there), and both prepared exactly as was wanted. The sides were freshly prepared and quite tasty (salads were definitely NOT the commissary types) and fried items had been prepared in a way as to taste fresh and light, not dripping of old, mixed grease. The food was only outdone by the service, which has been outstanding on each visit. The staff is knowledgeable about the foods and drinks and sees to it that items are prepared as you order them (i.e. steaks are done as you wanted, not as someone else decided you wanted them.) The atmosphere is very nice, while the place is busy and not all that large, it never seems cramped (although not sure about weekend nights during boating season as have not been there then.) They have live music some nights which is surprisingly good. Also, there is outside dining, if you prefer that. They have some special nights designated for all you can eat types of things and I have been wanting to get out there on a Friday to see if the fish is as good then as it is the rest of the time. Call and ask them about the specials, but will tell you that we have never left hungry on our visits there. Overall, would say this place is a gem, try it, I think you will agree.

My family and I stopped here on the way home to Ohio after a trip to Michigan. We arrived around 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. We concluded this must be a local after-church favorite. The wait wasn't too bad - probably about 15 or 20 minutes. We grabbed a couple of the carry-out menus to look them over. It was a tough choice, because the dishes all sounded delicious. Out of the five of us, three of us got the pork tenderloin sandwich, and we all agreed that it was absolutely delicious. One of us got the breaded chicken sandwich, and she said it was fantastic, and made with "real" (not pressed) chicken. My husband got the chicken strips, and they, too were made with real chicken and were very tasty. Our waitress was very friendly. She was also very attentive at first, but then toward the end of our meal, it was hard to get her attention. We had asked her about the pies, but she dropped our bills off at the table without seeing if we wanted anything else and it was difficult to get her back to the table. Rather than trying one of the pies, I opted for the $1 dessert special they were having that day, which was the cheesecake. It was very good. I thought it might be a small piece, since it was only $1, but it was actually a full piece. Nice to have a special like that. Two others in my family tried pie, and enjoyed them very much. I got a taste of the chocolate cream pie and it was indeed yummy. One more thing. The prices are RIDICULOUS!! And I mean that in the best possible way. I felt like we were taking advantage of their kindness!
Bland food, but at a good price. Breakfast anytime is besg meal on the menu. Very old patrons go here everyday.
Delicious! Thought we were going to be stuck in fast food hell, until we happened upon this little spot off the highway. My husband had a giant meal that he loved and I had a grilled cheese (my favorite). The best part, however, was the pie. Our waitress said about seven different pies and said they were "a bit light on pies tonight." The pumpkin and peanut butter cream were great. I hope to be back to try the cherry at some point :)

Growing up around a lot of mexican culture and living in Los Angeles for a good deal of time, I'm a bit spoiled when it comes to mexican food. I have realized that living in the midwest I now must lower my standards. The salsa here is the best I have had in Indiana so far, but you'll have to take that for what it's worth. The food wasn't bad. The service however was awful. Our waitress was obviously having a very bad day or is just generally a b*&%$. She didn't answer me when I would request things, just walk off to get them and then return in a huff like I was inconveniencing her. At one point she ended up in a verbal argument with one of the kitchen staff that got sort of loud. It was uncomfortable and would have ruined my day had I not reminded myself that I just ate lunch for 10 bucks. So there's that!
Have went back to this restaurant several times since initial review and the food and service have continued to be outstanding. It seems like they are always busy and they don't let that get in the way of good service and foods, so stop on in! If you, like me, are a fan of spicier than normal salsa, ask for some spicy salsa, just be careful as it is SPICY!
Food bland. I can cook it better and I am not a person who cooks mexican food.

Have stopped in for a quick bite and to use the WiFi several times at this location and have never had anything other than great service and the food has always been up to the McD's standard fare. We have ordered most of the menu and have asked for extra pickles, for example and not once have they given us anything other than what we asked for, which is saying something very positive for a place that is as busy as this location is. If you are in the mood for some quick burgers, etc. and in the area, stop in, you will not be disappointed.

As I have said before, "What can be said about a Dunkin Donuts that hasn't been said before"? What a great way to "economize". You can get a cup of coffee for $.99 cents, if you have one of their mugs. With a free donut, if you fill out one of their surveys. I used this location as a stop off point from my way on back from Warsaw. This time I had something to complain about. It just wasn't up to standards. There were no free newspapers to read, a savings of .50 cents. Along with a phone book to verify a few addresses of places. Since they had a new girl working there I took positive action. I filled out the on-line survey and pointed out these discrepancies. Also called them up on the 800-complaint number. Pointing out that a Marathon gas station is attached to this location. IT has the same things, coffee, newspapers, and high quality donuts. Also a phone book, with a couple of indoor tables to sit down on. This yelp@er did complain. "Stood his ground, but gracefully and kindly".
