My daughter quite enjoys watching her yogurt being frozen. However, be careful of combining flavors. The clerk was SO nice, she made her another one because she was so unhappy with her first.

I wasn't planning to get anything. My boyfriend wanted to stop in so we did. I was excited to see that this was not just another froyo place. They have several choices for frozen treats that they mix and flash freeze while you watch. I am definitely a fan, and can't wait to come back again. The service was great too. Very kind and patient lady working behind the counter. Then the icing on the cake was the spoons. I expected just a regular old plastic spoon when I grabbed it. But when I stuck it in my frozen custard it immediately changed colors! I think I'm in love with this place!

What a waste, used to be my kids and my favorite of the yogurt places. They have converted to the most inefficient way of making ice cream I have ever seen. We ordered 6 small nitro creams, of different flavors. It took them 20 minutes, making 2 at a time. The first kid had theirs completed before the rest of us had ours. This is not to mention the disabled girl who dropped 3 of them on the floor, and on herself that they had to remake. I will not be going back, at least the one in Louisville isn't doing this stupid concept "nitro cream" yet... Maybe the owner will head this review and bring back the yogurt machines before summer. We were the only ones there, it is a train wreck.

I love the selection, prices, and flavors. However, on my visit, one of the yogart dispensers expoloded on me, covering my new dress in banana-something and hitting my toddler in the eye! I was blown away! I kinda expected the staff to do something to help me, but didn't. It's alright tho, they were young kids, they probably just didn't know. I had to actually go tell them, they apologized... but that was it. I was stuggling to balance my crying toddler in one hand and the melted cup of yogart in the other. Of couse, I still would go back there(AND HAVE!). This was just a random FML moment for me, but I would have liked more help from the staff.

It's so hard to review frozen yogurt places because they change their "menu" basically all the time. The time I went I couldn't find a fro yo that I like and I usually always get the "original tart" flavor at these places, but their other flavors just weren't that good. DON'T get the reeses. bad. The toppings were average, but not that many fruit choices, they only had about 2 fruit choices and a bunch of other toppings that the normal person would not try. BUT I did like how they had hot peanut butter. I wish I would have looked at that before I made all of my other selections. That was the only place that I know of to have peanut butter. Nice service, ok fro yo.

Sweet N Swirly is no longer a frozen yogurt shop. They are an extremely slow and inefficient nitrogen ice cream shop. The store has been completely remodeled. The self-serve yogurt machines have been removed. They have been replaced with the nitro setup. The bright colors and playful plastic furniture are also gone. In their place are neutrals, wood furniture, and soft rock music on the speakers. My friend and I had to wait 30+ minutes after ordering our ice cream before we received it. It took the single staff member who was working approximately 10 minutes to make a single scoop of ice cream. Additionally, each time that a customer came in she had to stop her process and take their order. I have been to other nitro shops in the area and have never experienced this type of delay. Both of us raved about how great the actual ice cream was. It was rich and creamy with a great flavor. However, we also both agreed that we wouldn't return to Sweet N Swirly because the wait is just too long. There are other nitro shops in the area that serve a very similar product and are much much more efficient.

This place was a disaster! There were nitrogen tanks setup everywhere..So confusing? I just wanted a hot fudge sundae but they were out of hot fudge? I got a cup of vanilla bland ice cream. never going back!!

Interesting concept. Yes it's not as "efficient" as self serve froyo, but the fact you can get any flavor as ice cream, custard, frozen yogurt or non-dairy sorbet is a huge plus to me. Flavor/topping combinations are endless. I was in town visiting family when we found this, and will definitely search out something similar when I'm home. Reasonable prices.

I don't feel like there is much variety here. The yogurt is okay. It's just bland. The toppings are bland. I don't really have much to elaborate on.

Fro Jo's in Lexington Kentucky is the fro-yo to beat in my experiences. They do not make their yogurt from powder and their yogurt lacks the acidic afterbite that Sweet N Swirly offended my tastebuds with one afternoon. They also kindly provide you with GIANT bowls to fill with far more than your caloric needs entail, and I'll admit, if I'm getting a treat, then why not treat myself? But this not only results in ruining the diet you thought you were on but it also guarantees that you spend too much. I get the Original (non-fat tart flavor) whenever I get fro-yo and this white stuff was not what I'm used to. If I want my somewhat healthy treat to taste like ice-cream, then I would just go GET ICE CREAM. Won't return, but until Fro Jo's gets a Lexington location, I suppose I'll just have to continue my fast.

Great froyo place. Always go during BOGO or No Weigh Day as I don't think the regular prices are a good deal. Wonderful topping selections.

Love this place! There may be other frozen yogurt shops nearby, but none compare. The fresh, local fruit is a huge plus for me as I want to enjoy something sweet, but feel healthy about it as well. A little bit goes a long way. Plus - the staff is so friendly and nice. Love this place.

I've been to this place so many times! It is always really clean and I see the employees cleaning up little drips or spilled toppings all of the time. In a self-serve joint, I think that's really important. Also, pretty much every time we are there, my daughter asks for water because she's loving her sweets and they always bring her water. And, silly as it is, my son loves their nifty spoon dispenser.

This was one of the first do it yourself frozen yogurt shops I went too and as an entry to the now popular trend they have become the bare to measure all others against. They have become one of my favorite places to get something cool and sweet. It's almost as much fun to make you sugar laden concoction as it is to eat it at times. They have a variety of flavors; I find that I keep going back to the Cake batter and peanut butter. With cookies and cream, cheesecake, tart frozen yogurt and thin mints, you will find something new to try again and again. A wall of toppings lines the walls like a gam little kids can play adding a salty crunch or sweet bite to their choice of frozen yogurt. I can't give them five stars when you compare them to the shops like this across the river, they just don't have the extra little touches that set them apart from some of their peers. They are by far a great one with tat said and if you on the Indiana side a great place for a sweet treat.
