A pretty non-descript-looking pizza place in a strip mall on Michigan Road. But don't let looks deceive you. At lunchtime, they offer a decent $10 pizza buffet (which includes a drink). There's a little salad bar with iceburg lettuce that you can dress up with pizza toppings (pepperoni, bacon, onion, green peppers, mozzarella cheese, pepperoncinis, etc.), but the real star is the thin crust pizza. Crispy crust, sweet sauce, gooey cheese. There are several pizzas on the buffet which include: sausage, pepperoni, sausage & pepperoni, ham & pineapple, plain cheese, supreme, and a deep dish cheese pizza. The deep dish pizza was pretty plain (I blame the lack of toppings), but the thin crust pizzas were very good. An added bonus for some: $5 pizza buffets for police and firemen. Seating inside is limited to about a dozen 4-top tables, but they have also expanded into the patio area by enclosing it. When the weather is warm, there are 2 overhead garage doors in the patio that they can open up to create an al fresco experience. Pretty cool...

Visiting the Indy area, ordered delivery and had the 10" deep dish meat classic. Very good and tasted extremely fresh. The crust was light and buttery. Delivery was quick and friendly.

First time dining at Roselli's Pizza because we were so hungry for Chicago deep dish pizza. Went there on Jan. 10, 2015. We were not disappointed. This pizza was perfect. We ordered the combo deep dish - no onions. Italian sausage was plentiful as were the other toppings and so much cheese. Crust was crisp on the bottom as it should be. We were here on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm, no crowds. Can't say what it would be like on a weekend evening. We did have a problem getting our beer because the gal that took our order wasn't old enough to deliver them to our table so she told us the manager would bring them to us. We waited and waited while we watched the "manager" text on his phone and watch football on TV. Finally had to go up and ask about them. But as far as the pizza goes, it was perfect. This is the place for good Chicago style pizza. You just might have to wait a while for your beer!!!!

By far my favorite pizza in the Indianapolis area. It reminds me of my favorite place in the Chicago area (where I grew up). Pizzas are always great, and the lunch buffet is worth the trip from Fishers when I have a craving for great pizza.

Awesome locale, great atmosphere, unbelievably great food! Had the deep dish, mostacolli, garlic cheese bread, anti pasta salad and everything was superb! We especially loved the out door enclosed patio w the multiple garage doors. From Mich and will definitely come back when we visit.

Best pizza and lasagna in West Carmel! I live for Roselli's nights. We always do delivery, but the staff is always quick and accurate on our orders and the quality of the ingredients shine through in the final product.

The hubs and I have eaten here a few times, and we've enjoyed it each time! In fact, we've tried new things each visit, and we have almost always really liked what we ordered. While I wasn't the biggest fan of their deep dish pizza when I had it previously (sauce had lots of chunky tomatoes - not my thing but hubby loved it), I can speak highly for the pan pizza!! This most recent visit, we had a 14" mushroom pan pizza, and it came out great! Nice thick crust, plenty of cheese, tasty smooth sauce - I was a happy eater! I'll definitely get that again. To top it off, we've always had really good service there- friendly people to take our order at the counter and friendly and efficient servers who attended to us. We'll be back for more of that pan pizza!!

It's bad but not offensive. The toppings were passable but, the crust is where it loses it. It tasted much like pizza crust you'd make at home with store brand mix. The only thing I liked about it was that it was free so, it didn't cost me any money to find out I didn't like this.

Well, I see where Roselli's has a devout following. Lots of positive reviews from regulars. I have no complaints, but I found the deep dish pizza to be a little uninspiring. Maybe it's because I'm used to Gino's East in Chicago, but I just wasn't terribly impressed with this version of Chicago deep dish. I'm also not a huge fan of the "Pay when you order" concept. Made me feel like I was at McDonalds. Service was great, however.

When we want deep dish pizza and we are not in Chicago, our local Roselli's pizzeria is the place we call for a fix. My son and husband favor the deep dish Classic Combo. It's loaded with all their favorite meats and some veggies for good measure. But the Spinach Deluxe is the big surprise and my personal favorite -so yummy and fresh that even those who generally prefer meat pizzas (see husband and son above) rave about how good it is.

Roselli's Pizza flyer appeared in my mailbox just in time to solve the age old question, "What's for dinner?". Chicago style pizza pick up on the way home suddenly sounded like a great idea. Called to place my carry out order. Staff were extremely nice on phone and in person. Decor definitely lends itself to a nice family spot to enjoy pizza and relax. Surprisingly, I'm not always searching for my next hipster spot. Sometimes a comfortable location to relax with the kiddos and hear about their day is just the ticket. I'll be dining in next time with the family. Not Chuck E. Cheesish but tasteful and cozy. The pizza was a huge hit. The sauce was fresh, tomato toppings were a nice touch to kick up a notch. Cheese was abundant and high quality. The pizza was still hot when I arrived home. Large slices so was able to have for lunch the next day. I would definitely recommend Roselli's pizza for either dine in or carry out.

Ordered a few of the "thin" crusts for a work lunch last week. Suuuper oily, definitely delicious if you are craving some down and dirty pizza. Quite good on a slow friday afternoon. Delivery was quick and courteous, although the pizza overall seemed a little overpriced.

  • Michael B.

The buffet was a little small, pizza was decent.Thin crunchy crust, pepperoni, cheese, hawaiian, pep and sausage, and veggie. Salad and sticks as well. Not a lot of variety. $10 includes a drink. Not bad but I was just left wanting more.

The pizza is ok but the customer service is terrible. They are LIARS and have false advertising. They advertise on their pizza box " save 10 coupons and get one large pizza FREE" We ordered a large pizza today, tried to redeem my 10 coupons but was denied. I was told that I ordered the wrong size and could not use the coupons. How do you think that this is a good way to reward customer loyalty. I have been there 10 times in the past; HELLO I was a regular customer.

This is one of the best pizza places in Indy! My husband and I are originally from Chicago and every Mom & Pop shop there knows how to do pizza. We were seriously jonesing for good pizza when we moved out here. Once we stumbled on Roselli's, we were never happier! The pizza is consistently good every time you order. We have it at least twice a month. I've also got my colleagues at work hooked on it. If we order in pizza from anywhere we order it from Roselli's. Like I said, best pizza place in Indy! Oh and they can teach you a thing or two about customer service. Very friendly!

My boyfriend has been wanting to come here for at least a year, and today I gave in. We had a deep dish pizza and garlic cheese bread. I would say the pizza is Chicago STYLE but not on par with Gino's East or Giordano's or Lou Malnati's. It was good but not really true Chicago pizza. To be honest? Chicago style is not my favorite, because I dislike chunky sauce, and at least this sauce was sparse and easy to slide out of the way, and I really enjoyed the crust and that the bottom was crispy and not doughy. The garlic cheese bread was yummy and everything was hot and pretty quick. Service was friendly and attentive, although the half counter service/half table service thing is kind of strange. Pizza, garlic cheese bread and 2 drinks ran us about $25. I don't think we would likely return, just because there are a million places to eat in Indy and we like to spread it around, unless it's a place we truly love.

So we stayed at a Sybaris suite and wanted to have a pizza delivered. Called a few area pizza shops and this was the first good reviewed shop that would deliver so we decided to order a thin crust 18" bacon mushroom. It was a little more pizza than we needed, but I hadn't ate all day so we decided to go big. I knew it was overpriced at $28 but figured with the good reviews it would be worth it. Terribly mistaken. The pizza was no better than boring bowling alley pizza, just really bland. It was delivered quickly but I'll never again order from here considering I paid almost $40 with tip for a bad pizza. Steer clear of this overpriced pizza.

  • Roxanne T.

Over priced to say the least! I bought 2 pizzas and breadsticks $72, way to expensive for pizza! They gouge you on topping substitutes,I wanted pineapple instead of black olives and mushroom, cost me $2.50, wanted pepperoni instead of ham, another $2.50.....Rip OFF! To top it all off, we had to get up and refill our own drinks, staff very slow! The second pizza was thin crust and came out 15 minutes after the deep dish pizza! ridiculous!

  • Katrina D.

The lunch buffet price is $10 and it includes a drink. There's a decent selection of pies (about five) along with bread sticks and salad. I was happy they had deep dish since I'm from Chicago and don't really get a chance to eat it very often. Sure, it wasn't Lou Malnati's, but it helped fill the gap in my heart (and stomach). The cashier was very nice. It's a good place for a quick, casual lunch.

I'm giving this place 2 stars because the pizza is good, however their service is horrid. I don't eat pizza. I eat theirs because I like their thin crust. The other place I usually order from is Greeks which has a thicker crust which I don't love but Greeks sauce is so much better. I ordered a pizza and I live like 5-7 minutes away. I was cleaning when I realized it had been 50 minutes and they said 30. I looked at my phone and I had 2 missed calls. No message however. When I called the kid on the phone said she couldn't find your house. Odd they delivered probably a dozen times and I live in downtown Zionsville so it's not hard. I cleared that up, he said he's call the driver. Went back to cleaning and after 25 more minutes, call back. He said they're on their way. I was shocked because my 35 minutes pizza and it's now an hour and half. Which I said to the kid who's response was, not our fault, you didn't answer. He sounded rude so I asked if he could get a manager. He said he was the manager. His next response was, I don't know what you want me to do. It's really not our fault but I guess I could give you 20% off. He sounded young and just rude. Never will use this place again. Their average pizza is $25 so not worth it when we live in a town full of really good independents. Their customer service is pretty bad.

  • Jim J.

Staying at a nearby Embassy Suites this place was recommended by the front desk. The pizza wasn't bad and the young man who made the delivery was very nice. My problem was the price. Two large pizzas, a large Caesar salad and a small mixed salad with two orders of breadsticks came to $93.00. I'm thinking I got ripped off by not questioning this more forcefully.

  • Megan V.

I absolutely love the pizza and calzones! Easy place to order from work and the pizza even tastes good heated up he next day in the oven (can't say that about most)!

    (5)
  • Jon G.

Reminds me a lot of Pizza Metro in Chicago, which is not a good thing. All of the crusts - thin, double, and Chicago lack flavor. The cheese is tolerable, but the sauce and other toppings also have no flavor. It literally tastes like you're eating thick cardboard with provolone cheese on top.

    (1)
  • Rosy P.

I love this place! Best deep dish pizza I've ever had!! I usually order the veggie pizza and it's really good. However, I don't recommend takeout. If your pizzas wait too long, they get soggy. The actual restaurant is nice. Though the service is good, the wait is pretty long. I'd say it takes 10-20 minutes to get your pizza, but there are a couple of TV's around the place that keep you occupied. Overall, this restaurant is a great place for families, dates, etc. Go there today!!

Really good pizza. We usually get take out and it's perfect. I went to the lunch buffet with my son on Friday and it was $10 which includes your drink. Plentiful pizza, salad, breadsticks. If you don't see a pizza you want just ask! They have some in the bullpen ready to come out. Great place to take kids.

My family is from Chicago- we are use to the thin, square cut, Italian sausage crumbles. I tried it with work friends first, then I took the whole family (10 of us) to try it out. Due to us living in Castleston and I work a few minutes away- I am the one that is voted to bring a pie home once or twice a month! Yum!

We were staying in the area and was hungry for a good pizza, so I used a phone app to locate restaurants and after checking reviews on Yelp, we picked Roselli's. Was a little apprehensive when we first pulled up because there wasn't anybody else there, although as the night progressed it got quite busy. We ordered an appetizer of garlic cheese bread and a Chicago style deep dish pepperoni pizza. Was not a fan of the bread, but the pizza was DeeeeeLish! I thought maybe my husband wouldn't care for it, because he doesn't like tomatoes, and there are chunks thrown on the pizza. But he really liked it too. Would definitely recommend!

  • Kristina J.

I've only been here once, but once was enough. Coming from Chicago, my boyfriend and I were excited to try their "authentic" deep dish pizza. In my opinion they should be forced to name it something else, because it's a poor rendition of the traditional deep dish. For what it was, it was okay, but I haven't been back since. I do like the giant mural of Wrigley on their wall though. Bottom line: Proceed with lowered expectations. If pizza is what you want, sure give it a try. But if deep dish Chicago-style pizza is what you want, you're better off driving to Chicago.

My husband and I are both from Chicago so we're total pizza snobs. The downside to Roselli's is that their pizza is expensive and I wanted to use a coupon last time I went. We were exhausted and didn't feel like cooking so he drove all the way there to pick it up, frmo 56th all the way up to 106th and Michigan. Unfortunately the coupon said dine in only, and of course, I wasn't with him. The cashier wouldn't take it and he said, if my manager wasn't standing right there, I would totally take it. Nevertheless, for paying almost $30 bucks for a pizza, you would think the manager would just step in and take the damn coupon. Dine in, carry out, what difference does it make? Besides the fact that you order at the counter anyway, they don't even have table side service. Anyways, I still love their pizza, best darn deep dish chicago style pizza in town. It totally hit the spot and we devoured it as soon as he got home. Rosellis and Nancy's in Fishers are definitly the closest thing you will ever come to traditional chicago style deep dish in Central Indiana. Just wish it wasn't so expensive, but when it comes to it, I think I'd rather just pay more for really good pizza than pizza that is so-so or just plain bad, I'm talking to you Piezano's on georgetown rd. As a shout out to Krisann W, I'd have to agree that Ale Emporium is up there with Nancy's and Rosellis as well. Would be nice if they offered more coupons, maybe in the money mailer or valpak mailer?

We are longtime Ale Emporium pizza fans and think they have the best deep dish in town. Colleagues referred us to Roselli's with claims that it was better. While it was good -- it's not even close to Ale Emporium in our humble estimation. Great service but the "order at the counter" concept (along with only selling beer by the bottle) doesn't make for a way to have a nice leisurely dinner with cold beers coming as you order them. Might want to rethink the delivery model here.

    (3)
  • Brandon B.

There deep dish chi style is very good, but its not geno's east. Its differnt from the simple sauce on top as well the tomatoes are stewed first and then put on at the end. They are very good though. The lunch buffet there cant be beat.

  • Robert B.

I might not be from Chicago. But I do know good pizza. I love the deep dish with extra tomato sauce and extra extra ( yes I said that twice I really like hot peppers) hot giadinera. Heavy filling I love it. The thin crust to me is not edible but the deep dish, as I have said, is great. I also like their chick parm sandwich and their french fries. My kids love the fries!!!!

  • Chris M.

This place threw me off right away in the way that you place your orders. You order and pay for everything at the counter but then waitstaff comes around later and offers to take drink orders? Just a bit confusing for some reason, and I think it confuses the staff as well as we had an issue with a drink order. I don't want to go up to a counter each time I want a beer. Maybe they should offer buckets?. No biggie though. Anyway... We started off with some apps: cheesy garlic bread and some cheese sticks. Bread was good and garlicky, but some of the cheese sticks were cold. We ordered a deep dish and a thin crust pizza. The deep dish was on the cold side, and we were given the impression the crust was pre-made as it was out of the oven faster than any deep dish I've ever had. Maybe they are just fast? I dunno. Both pizzas tasted ok, but didn't knock my socks off. They do know how to use a lot of cheese which is appreciated. Overall atmosphere was cool and not brightly annoying.

There deep dish chi style is very good, but its not geno's east. Its differnt from the simple sauce on top as well the tomatoes are stewed first and then put on at the end. They are very good though. The lunch buffet there cant be beat.

Yum!

Best pizza and lasagna in West Carmel! I live for Roselli's nights. We always do delivery, but the staff is always quick and accurate on our orders and the quality of the ingredients shine through in the final product.

I absolutely love the pizza and calzones! Easy place to order from work and the pizza even tastes good heated up he next day in the oven (can't say that about most)!
