This Moe's location certainly has changed for the better! I hadn't been here in months, had stopped visiting this location because they were always out of something (mushrooms, guac, tofu) and the employees often seemed sullen and unfriendly. I had stopped getting rice because it was always hard and dried, like it had been out for hours. The soda machine was usually out of the several varieties of diet Coke that I liked. The tables were always dirty, counters and floor sticky and the tvs were on but not connected. If I wanted Moe's I drove past this location to Fishers Moe's which was always great. However, I stopped in here just to grab a burrito because I didn't have time to drive to the Fishers location. I was pleasantly surprised! The employees were friendly, the restaurant was very clean and the food was fresh and good. I really appreciate these positive changes, especially since I live very close and would definitely be a regular here. If new management is responsible I say, "Great job!"

I came in for dinner and to set up catering. They were very nice and easy to work with. The food was good and it had more options than Chipotle or Qdoba (sauteed mushrooms anyone?). I saw from another review that the catering was not good, so I am anxious to see how our Superbowl Taco Bar will go. I will update the review and let you know!

I know, I know, I know.... It's a chain, I get it. But I was actually hoping that this one was like the closer one to me (Avon location which is now closed) in which I got really good service and food. At the old Avon location they each turned their heads and yelled out, "Welcome to Moe's!" and this happened every time I walked in there. Where as corporate Q'doba? Well you might get an eye roll or a blank stare. Well on to this location. No greeting, but a not an awkward silence, just someone who was waiting to be prompted by requests without chit chat. (Okay, mousey with no personality.) Sub-par food here though. The cilantro rice like that at the defunct Avon location was replaced by some browner overcooked version which was flavorless and dried out (crunchy rice is NOT tasty.) The chicken was average, maybe. It just didn't have much flavor. And the one small scoop of Pico de Gallo didn't help me out any. However, the extra star came for their awesome salsa bar! They had several salsas to choose from and I settled on the corn salsa which had extra cilantro teaming in it! I wound up POURING a small sample cup on each bite of my Joey Bag o Donuts burrito. I used so much that the staff had to bring out some more! That savior of a salsa made the burrito go from the meh - unenjoyable range, to the gone in three minutes category! Restrooms were super clean, but again I had the issue of employees who were handling clean up of the soda area with chemicals were also going back to make orders without washing hands. What is it about Tex Mex places reinforcing stereotypes about hand washing in this city?!?!? Although the corn salsa was enjoyable, I would probably skip this place for better options in the area.

Usually I grip at the chain burrito joints for skimping on the good stuff when crafting my burrito but this Moe's was the exception. I've never had a bigger burrito in my life! I questioned myself "Do I look really hungry?" LOL. This guy piled on the kitchen sink! I guess in this case I shouldn't complain but my burrito wasn't very good. The meat was under-seasoned and the ingredients could have been fresher. I filled up on the chips and the yummy salsa instead. Still, I appreciate the bang for the buck and might give them another try.

The queso is a must! the guacamole is a little onion-y, but the salsas are great and it's awesome that you get chips and salsa with every meal. I would choose this over those other burrito or bowl places any day!

Grass Fed Beef is hard to find in California so I was so happy to find a place during my visit to Indiana that has it and compliments with fresh cooked and raw veggies so I can stay Paleo. The food was good and the meat was not over salty so it gets an initial 4 - Stars based on the quality of the food. The staff was not overly friendly but far for rude. Still there is room for improvement there.

I used to eat at Moe's all the time back when I lived in Indy. Now, it's a happy, vegan-friendly little oasis when I come back to visit. They offer tofu now!! Finally, some non-critter protein! They also offer a ton of fresh toppings, more than Chipotle or Qdoba. The tofu might have been sitting for a while (it is Indiana, after all), but everything else was very fresh. Love the salsa bar. I always load up on the salsa verde.

Seems new owners who care, it's much better and a heck of a lot cleaner than it used to be....

I've grabbed carryout from this Moe's location many times and have always been satisfied. There's a full slate of Mexican menu options but I've always gone with a few soft tacos -- you can choose from a variety of meat fillings along with vegetables (including fajita). Side dishes of Spanish rice and beans are also available. A full bag of tortilla chips is also provided with each order -- cool! They used to sell their hot sauce by the bottle but apparently not anymore -- it's still available in small containers. Too bad, because it added a really nice kick to their food. I wouldn't label it terribly authentic but it's a good alternative to the more trendy Mexican chain places in the area.

I am not sure if there has been a change in management but things have greatly improved at this location. My wife and I eat here almost once a week and can both have a meal and drink all around $13 bucks! The staff have been very friendly and the food great. I hope they continue to keep the momentum.

I've had catering from the Moes in Carmel and eaten at their restaurant in Ashburn, VA. The food is AWFUL!!! There is much better Mexican food all over this country.

Don't ever order catering from this location. When I arrived at my scheduled pick-up time, they had no record of my order, nothing was prepared, and no one spoke English so it was impossible to get help. Terrible experience.

I love Moe's! I usually get the Billy Barou nachos with chicken, but they were out of chicken so I went with the pork. I wasn't really sure about changing up my favorite dish, but the pork was a definite hit! I like that it was already shredded and easier to evenly spread around the chips. I love all the fresh choices and that I can even add cucumbers and fresh cilantro! I love cilantro and I love Moe's for offering it. Qdoba always looks at me funny when I ask for it in my dishes and usually won't go and get it from the back where it's only for special items or something. They have a fun sala bar and I always get excited to go see the fun types they have that day. I lucked out with the pineapple cucumber salsa which is my favorite! I really enjoy eating it! Make sure you sign up for emails so you get a free dish on your birthday! You can also type your phone number in the Carmel location to keep track of your visits and you get something when you get to 10 I believe. I am at 7 so I will find out soon!

I love this place, I am normally not one to like this type of quasi-Mexican like Qdoba or Chipotle and such but I really like this place. They have Jr burritos which I like because I can never finish a whole one at these other places, everything comes with chips and salsa and they have one of those 100+ drink option machines!

I came here right around closing time....so I guess what do I expect? Tables were dirty....guac was brown....food not so fresh.... Chipotle is always my go to...but thought I would try these guys again. Staff didn't seem very happy I was there. But it's quick service what do you expect?

So this is a chain but the staff is so cool. During busy times they are super effecient at getting you through. When they aren't busy they are some of hte funnest people i've ever had the pleasure of chatting with while they pile food on top of other food for me. The chips and salsa with every meal is a great addition. I defnitely will be back. Good for vegetarians - they even have tofu as a protein option. Good for Gluten Free - The burrito bowls are fantastic, stacked on top of rice and full of nice hearty beans. Oh and all the different salsas are really great and quite robust and flavorful.

I went here for lunch the other day because several of my co-workers are regulars here, and I thought I'd check it out. I liked it overall, but I just didn't love it enough to go out of my way to go back. It has friendly staff and good service and it's a great value - a huge burrito with chips and a drink costs $6 on Mondays. It's pretty tasty, but I got almost every condiment on my vegetarian burrito and it still could've used some more flavor. I'd recommend it, though, if you want some bang for your buck; just don't have too high of expectations.

Moe's is my favorite local lunch place. I can get a good meal of one taco (they pile it on) and chips, read the news on my BB, and chill. Fast service, nice people (same people every day) and no dirty looks because I am only spending a few bucks (that's under 3). When I am in the mood for something more substantial, I can get a naked burrito (or just a regular one) and they provide a nice serving for the money. I like the Q and the Hab, but this is close to my work so it's my lunch place.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
