I was doing some work in Brownsburg and I was getting hungry. So I opened up my yelp app and searched pizza places. I called made an order for their daily special. Two medium two topping pizzas and cheese bread. It was a good deal. The family really enjoyed the pizza, their crust has a nice bake. The cheese and topping were of high quality. Will definitely be back in the future.

Our waitress from the start seemed kind of air headed, but whatever. She told us immediately that their liquor license expired so no beer. Bummer. I had that free appetizer coupon so we put in a cheesy bread order with some root beers. After pondering, we decided since it was a new place, we should see how they would do at our usual pizza. We ordered a supreme with the pan crust. The root beers tasted funny to me. It kinda had a bitter after taste. We continued to wait and our appetizer never came. The pizza came with no silverware and we had to wait for them to wash more. That being said, the pizza was delicious. But the service was so horrible that next time we'll just do take out.

Extremely good pizza. Three close pizza places on Yelp and choose this one because of free app with check in. It did not disappoint. Great service, great atmosphere and extremely good deep dish meat lovers. Would highly recommend, cheese bread was great too.

Great pizza here, the service was great, the restaurant was very clean too..... Except the restroom.

I will start off by saying that the service was AMAZING. Our server was on her game and never left us waiting for anything. The pizza was very good and definitely beats eating at one of the franchised chains. However I'm only giving it three stars because I didn't leave with that "wow" factor. Indy has a lot of really good places to get pizza, and although this is a solid choice to satisfy your pizza cravings... I can find several other places with just as good of pizza closer into town without driving all the way to Brownsburg. The lay out of the place is a little awkward and outdated, if it hadn't been, I'd have given it another star.

I tried Rockstar Pizza for the first time on Sunday, January 19, for lunch. This review will be mostly about the food, which was the best part of my visit. I loved my pizza. I ordered a small, thin crust pizza with ham and tomato. The tomato was diced, not cut in rounds and I like that as it is easier to eat and there is more coverage. There was plenty of ham, as well but it was not diced. I'm fine with that. The crust was crispy but not cracker-like which I am fine with as well. If I wanted to have a cracker like texture I would have ordered saltines. I had the right amount of cheese, not too much, not too little. Now for my favorite part - the sauce. BRAVO. I adored the sauce for two reasons: it was zesty and full of tomato flavor, and there was plenty of it. This sauce will be the thing that gets me back to this restaurant. Rockstar Pizza had plenty of "gourmet" pizzas on their menu....I am never interested in such recipes but my spouse is and he ordered the Big MC. It had a special sauce that tasted very much like thousand island and had lettuce and pickles on it. I tasted it and it was like I was eating a Big Mac from McDonalds. I do not dislike Big Macs but I really did not go for this pizza. But he sure did and I'm sure others do as well. Just not my thing but I did want to mention it because he really did enjoy it. By the way the crust he ordered was hand tossed (they also offer deep dish) and it was tasty with a good texture. So, for lots of "gourmet" options (very interesting combinations) or the more traditional options that taste REALLY good, check out Rockstar pizza in Brownsburg. Traditional red sauce lovers, you will be so glad you did. Now....I must say a word about my visit that isn't about the food. The décor is a bit cheesy. The walls are covered with "Rock" memorabilia. For example, a very large picture of Jennifer Lopez's mid-section hangs on the wall...just from neck to thigh, exposing her chest and middle (scantily clad) that was dripping with water or sweat, I am not sure which. That was my husband's view. Nice. On my table was a picture of....oh what's her name....Mariah Cary! Yes, her...someone I really don't care about. Anyway, in the photo she was in her teens and she was wearing a little tank top with the straps pulled down and the waste pulled up, again, because when eating pizza I want to see the flat-iron like mid-section of the rich and famous. Not my thing. Next, there was only one server. ONE. She worked her butt off too...super nice but the place was full. It was Sunday lunch for Pete's sake. Get the gal some help! Finally - and I will admit that this is not the fault of Rockstar Pizza....the place was a ZOO of kids. If you have kids, I suppose this is the place to be. They were running around, yelling...I'm not sure the parents actually realized they were in public. On our way out, my husband wanted to apologize to this obnoxious group because we were so darn quiet but I nixed the idea because I just wanted out of there so badly I didn't want to deal with anything. They made my dining experience pretty stressful...but I can't hold that against Rockstar Pizza. We will return to Rockstar Pizza because I loved my pizza. Simple as that....but it will be carry out only. Not a fan of the décor and don't want to risk another kid-fest.

Was kindly invited to try out Rockstar pizza so I loaded up a pile of tiny humans and headed to the unexplored lands of Brownsburg. Upon arrival I quickly read through the previous reviews and thought to myself yikes what have I gotten myself into but did notice that when you check in on Yelp you receive a free appetizer....SCORE...free food is always a good thing when toting around a hoard of ankle bitters. The XXL pizza is HUGE and tasty and even with all the munchins we managed to take pizza home for another meal. And I must say the pizza is even better the next day. But the star of the show is definitely the root beer served in a frosty mug. Our waitress was working solo busting her buns trying to keep everyone served and our frosty mugs never went dry. She did a fantastic job. I would recommend to show up a while after opening. We arrived shortly after they opened and our free cheese stick appetizer was a bit on the oily side because the fryer was not hot yet.

I know Rockstar has a loyal following in Brownsburg, but I didn't find the pizza to be better than what you get at Sal's, which has a real, yeasty, pizza crust cooked in a stone oven, or at Chicago's, which has a deep dish that is a better approximation of the deep-dish Chicago style pizza (though still pretty far off from authentic, it's still a good pizza). The pizza at Rockstars was fine -- they didn't do anything weird or offensive. The ingredients were good enough and the crust was nice and doughy. We were happy to Rockstars pizza, but it needed to be better than Sal's or Chicago's for a return visit, and it just wasn't. We didn't dine in, so I can't vouch for the atmosphere or the service. Based on the food alone, there are better options right across the parking lot at Sal's, and just up the road at Chicago's.

So, four stars because the pizza and breadsticks were very good. Especially the pizza sauce. Like a lot of other reviewers service was lackluster, at best. Our server was not thrilled to be there. I get it, most folks aren't happy to be at work, but from the pics on the tables I gather she is very invested in the shop. A drink refill and a smile would have gone a long way. A nice touch was the caricature artist for the kids and the sweet lady taking checks at the register was very kind.

The service was extremely slow, but it was my first time visiting so I let it slide. The pizza (meatlovers) was excellent and the cheesey bread was good too! Went during the end of lunch on a Tuesday

OK so we went here this evening Sunday June 28th around 7pm. This was our first visit as we had planned to go last night for carryout and luckily we called first as the hours of operation that are listed on yelp are not accurate. The guy was about as friendly as a rock. He said that they have not stayed open until 11pm for over a year now. Makes one think that someone, namely the owner or management would be on here making sure their restaurant was accurately represented. So we go down tonight and we walk in, there is no host stand or anyone to greet you so we walked around for a few minutes as the only empty booth was dirty. So finally the server did acknowledge us and said if we wanted a booth she would clean one. While they were not that busy she was not strong enough to handle all that was going on by herself. It was a good 10 minutes before we got our drinks and another good 10 minutes after that before she came back to take our order. We ordered bread sticks, nothing to write home about, it was bread. then we split a medium pizza (8 slices) we got half Big Mac and half Chicken Bacon Ranch. I didn't eat any of the Big Mac but the person who did loved it. I did like the CBR pizza. It did take forever for it to come out. There were several needy families in there that needed a crash course in dining out, they were sucking the bottom of the glasses or shaking them at the waitress and a few were snapping their fingers, typical Brownsburg clientele. So for that I felt sorry for the server. There were a few messed up orders that caused some problems but not ours thankfully. I would not criticize their salad bar if it were not for the fact that the menu and the signs around the salad bar go so far out of their way to make it all seem so fresh and original. There was not one thing on that salad bar that was fresh, you could tell it was all out of a bag and premixed. That said they had lots of stuff, just don't be dishonest about the fact it is not homemade or fresh as they were labeling it. Maybe that changed too about the same time the hours did and they just didn't change the menu. Coke products to drink but they have Mountain Dew. Go figure. Our server was nice enough, I just think she was overwhelmed and not very organized. In her defense, it seems there was more staff in the back than out front which is never good. The pizza crust was about as flavorless as the bread sticks. Toppings were really good though. I am on the fence as to if I would try them again, too many other places to go that can execute better.

We've been going here once a week for several years and I just need to comment about the cleanliness which is not good. My husband had to wash his soup spoon in the restroom because it was so filmy. The sneeze guard on the salad bar was filthy and the salad was old. We love Sarah and she's the only reason we keep going back. The owners need to make some real improvements.

I'm not sure how this works, but I am revising my initial feedback due to a mis-communication. I love love love Rockstar Pizza. Their cheese blend is nothing short of amazing, both the thick and thin crusts are delicious, we love the style of sausage they use AND all the ingredients taste fresh. We are very pleased to also let you know that their Owner is excellent at conflict resolution (we had an incident with a double charge & once he found out about it, he took care of it immediately). I cannot wait to have Rockstar Pizza again. Seriously, you MUST try them - I have NEVER had a pizza from them that wasn't insanely tasty!!!

What a great place. It was not packed at all on the day that I went but I should have been. Such good pizza. It is in the line of my favorite style. Very thin crust, sauce and toppings and then a ton of cheese on top of them. It really reminded me of my childhood because I went to the New Bethel Ordinary with my parents alot. This pizza was very similar. We also took advantage of the offer they had on yelp with was a free appetizer with the purchase of a large pizza if you dine in. BBQ wings is what we got. They were very lightly breaded, which gave them a great crunch. I was overall very impressed with my experience. When ever I am in Brownsburg and hungry, I will be making a stop at Rockstar for sure.

Awesome, fresh ingredients. The reason it tastes different than Papa John's or Dominos is because the ingredients are actually fresh and, more importantly, the pizza is not full of grease. Great service, great pizza.

First time dining at Rockstar. Great pizza spot in Brownsburg. Did the White Out pizza and added chicken, feta, tomato, artichokes and mushrooms. Had it on their thin crust. The crust was perfect stayed crispy throughout. They also brought us some free samples of a bruschetta they are wanting to add to the menu. That was a real treat and I recommend they do add this. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone.

One of our favorites! The new location is great, though a little hard to spot until they get their sign installed. Wednesday is family night, when we went there was face painting, balloon animals, & caricatures.

We love this place. It will easily become our family spot. Its a tad on the expensive side, but the food is great. Their table layout is odd. We came in with four adults and one kid. They only booth open was right next to the door. We sat there and wish we hadn't. But I'm sure its find during the warmer months. We all ordered the salad bar along with a large two topping pizza. Plus a Kids meal and four drinks. The total was $45. That seem a little high, but maybe not. On Yelp I was able to redeem a free appetizer and I also bought their $10 for $5 deal. Unfortunately, we couldn't use both coupons. And the deal I had bought expired that same day, so my suggestion would have been to let the purchased coupon last a while longer. The salad bar is wonderful. We ordered a hand-toassed pepperoni and almond pizza - AWESOME. And the pepperoni stuffed bread sticks were really good. My daughter wanted the mini corn dogs meal that came with a bread stick and drink. They had some live music, but the guy wasn't great and was really loud. It made hearing each other hard. Overall, the food was great. I can't wait to go back again!

When the Rockstar location in Plainfield closed, I was pretty disappointed. I loved the food, as well as the staff at that location, and was sad to see them close their doors. Not long after that, we decided to give the location in Brownsburg a shot. It was a little further away from us, but we figured we should give them a shot. Good news, they're just as good, if not better, than the former Plainfield location. From thin crust to deep dish, they know their way around a pizza. Also, the staff is very friendly, which just makes the experience even better. I'd venture to say that this is the best pizza you'll find in Brownsburg.

We stopped by here for lunch and were very impressed. Our lunch began with the breadsticks - an order of four was perfect for two people, they were lightly brushed with butter and cooked perfectly - slightly crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The tomato sauce was perfect for dipping. We decided to get personal pizzas, which is perfect for when you can't agree on toppings. I got the Thai Chicken personal pizza and was blown away. It had authentic Thai seasonings - I mean like right from a Thai restaurant authentic, with a great attention to details like sesame seeds on the crust. Loved it. My wife's personal pizza was simpler but just as delicious - it was just a cheese pizza with jalapeños. The cheese was just slightly browned on top, which is how we like it, the crust was perfect (you can choose from thin, hand tossed or pan - we chose hand tossed). Our waitress was friendly, informative and attentive. The only thing that wasn't 100% perfect at this visit was the unsweetened tea, it was a little on the weak side - but it wasn't enough to change my star rating - this place deserved 5 stars. Check this place out - it's a little hard to see from the road, it's behind the gas station near the BBQ place. The decor is rock memorabilia and they have a great selection of local beers and at good prices!

Food's pretty good, however the Service is lackluster, as is the salad bar and the far from clean ladies restroom. I love the stuffed breadstix as they do them in either sausage or pepperoni. Don't come if you're in a hurry and customer service is a priority for you.

Pretty good pizza joint. We found it while driving from KY to IL with our four year old, who was craving pizza. I just typed "pizza" into the search and up popped this place. They were offering a great 5 for 10 gift certificate, so we decided to give it a try. The small salad bar is pretty good and has a nice selection. The pizza was full of delicious toppings and they have a great kid's menu. Everything was a bit on the pricy side for what we got. $5 is a bit much for a small salad bar when added to everything else that we ordered. The waitress was fabulous and the guy playing blues totally captivated our son. Using the gift certificate was super easy and everyone there was very friendly. All in all...worth the stop :).

Rock Star Pizza still rocks! I have dined in, picked up, and had delivered several times. At least twice a month, if not more, we dine on rock star pizza. We have discovered what we like the most about Rock Star: Large thin crust pizza. They have an extra large pizza, but cannot do a thin crust version because it tends to fall apart. No worries, we barely finish our large between the three of us. Delicious breadsticks. I do not know what concoction of butter and garlic they brush on, but it is sooo good. Also, get their pizza sauce for dipping the breadsticks. It's just really good. They now carry several beers in bottle and quite a few on tap. Sun King. On tap. You're welcome. They also have live entertainment on certain days of the week. Pizza, beer and a band: Yes!!! They can deliver pizza AND beer! Show ID to the driver. Remember to tip your bartenders. Party on, Wayne. Party on, Garth. Peace.

I'm a pizza junkie..plain and simple. When I travel I try to get pizzas from all over the country. I'm always looking for the perfect slice! Forget the deep dish stuff in the city... I've never been a fan. I am hooked on Rock Star's thin crust Thai pizza, though. I know what you're thinking... Thai and pizza?! I'm a fan of both, so I had to try it. And I promise, you won't be disappointed. It's literally like no other pizza I've ever tried before. The Thai curry chicken and cilantro go together so amazingly for a flavor combo I was a little apprehensive about at first. The red peppers give it the perfect amount of kick and the cheeses they use bring it all home. The place also has a nice little salad bar so I was able to add a side caesar salad to make myself feel better after the pizza. The salad greens were crisp and fresh and the homemade dressing was tasty. I'd definitely recommend stopping in... and be sure to try the Thai pie.

Ordered a taco pizza. I asked them to add jalapeños to it and to mix hot sauce in the pizza sauce. I got the thin crust because I don't like the crust to outweigh the toppings. I'm a gal who likes my food hot ( as in spicy!) The cook made it extra hot for me! Very flavorable ! One of the best taco pizzas I ever had! They also make glutton free pizzas for people trying to heat healthy. The glutton free pizza has less carbs in it too! I didn't get glutton free crust this time, though. Anyway, I will be a repeat customer and can't wait to try their other things on the menu! Great pizza!

Absolutely LOVE Rock Star Pizza. I live in Noblesville but work in Pittsboro so usually head here for lunch (we order the pizza by phone and then head over for our meal). They have a great salad bar deal for lunchtime which some of my co-workers like. They also rave about the stuffed breadsticks - jammed with pepperoni. They really look good!! Good sandwiches too my friends say. After getting taxes done last Saturday, I had lunch here with my husband who also loves their pizza. They have a BUNCH of gourmet pizzas - we've tried the Chicken Alfredo, Thai, Big MC, Hawaiian, The Works - and have liked all of them so far. Thai is my favorite. If you like sweet but hot, you gotta try it. It's SO GOOD! I see several comments about slow service and will admit that there is a limited staff... but pizza takes a while to cook, people! I have always had friendly wait-staff and no real troubles. And there's plenty to entertain you while you wait. I LOVE the decor. So much rock paraphernalia! There's a lot of variety but I like almost everything I see. Slim Shady, AC/DC (a favorite), Kiss. Some great displayed guitars too. All the tables have images of different artists plastered into the surface. I'm sure people have their "regular" tables... And the music is awesome - didn't hear a song I didn't like during our whole visit - and I was singing along to several of them. There were only a couple other people there while we visited and one was a family of three. Their 20-month old was mesmerized by the disco light in the ceiling by the bathrooms - had to go back a couple times to dance. He was adorable. But here's the BEST reason for me to love Rock Star... THEY HAVE GLUTEN-FREE PIZZA!! And now, they also have GLUTEN-FREE CHEESY BREAD!! And it's REALLY GOOD. The Pizza only comes in a Medium Crust for the GF but it is really great stuff. Wish they made a large as it heats up great too. I could get a pie and live on it all week for lunch if they did... The owner really works to try to find GF items and I appreciate the efforts. His crust has won national awards and it's easy to see why. I definitely recommend the place and will say it's my favorite GF Pizza around. And try the root beer - it's good too.

Average pizza, nothing special. The dough tastes frozen, I doubt much of anything is made in house here. The rest of the menu isn't very exciting. The dining room is small and not pleasant to look at. The salad bar is an insult to salad bars.

Great pizza and very attentive service. We had the Thai pizza and it was delicious, lots of good flavor and the sesame crust is fantastic. We ordered it Hot and it was really spicy! I would've preferred mild, but the hot was still good.

The quality at this location has been really inconsistent the last few times I have been here. It's kind of a shame because the Caribbean Twist is one of my all time favorites. That pizza alone is worth four stars

Don't waste your time here. I stopped here for lunch last week and the place was a ghost town. Not an employee in sight, so I sat myself after about 3 minutes and waited a few minutes before being notice. I order a large "hand tossed" pizza, cheese bread, and the salad bar. The salad bar was full of browning lettuce. When awkward waitress served us our cheese bread she didn't bring any plates. i I ended up getting some plates from the salad bar with a few dirty looks thrown my way. We were informed our pizza would be done soon. Weird, hand tossed pizza don't normally take 10 minutes to cook. When the pizza arrived it was a frozen crust served with paper plates. During the meal my table sat with empty cups. Annoyed by the experience, I waited patiently for our check and noticed the waitress fill a cup with ranch from the salad bar for a customer. When we finally got a check, I asked for some boxes for the leftovers and was given one box sized for a sandwich or burger. That would have been great had I order one of those items. Instead I had half a large pizza and bread sticks. Thankfully she was polite enough to bring a second box of the same size. I asked for a pizza box and was denied my request. If you're considering going here, don't. Just go to Kroger and get a frozen pizza. It will be cheaper and higher quality than their "delicious gourmet pizza" However if you enjoy being ripped off and looking at pictures of random people with has been rockstars all while being served low quality food, this is your spot.

Rockstar is one of our go to places in Brownsburg. The sandwiches are great and the pizza is awesome. I know Jimmy Johns delivers but their sandwiches are cold - that doesn't cut it in the middle of the winter when I just need a quick HOT lunch. We recently tried the wings (BBQ was fantastic) and the deep dish pizza - both were wonderful. It's one of the only places you can get real Chicago style deep dish in the area and it stands up. Highly Reccomended TIPS: Park around the corner in City Hall parking lot Kids Eat Free on Sundays only but the kids meals are super cheap any other time ($2.50 if memory serves me)

I have had their food many times. Mostly I order take out so I don't get to see the whole diner experience. Today I ate lunch in the restaurant. The food is always good. However, the negatives is that it is small and doesn't suit well for a lone diner. The tables are for 4 to 6 people. No smaller tables. I had to eat my pizza on cheap paper plates. Also, the seats were old and dingy. Now, don't get me wrong, I do love the food here and will continue to support them with my money. I just wanted to point out the things that they could improve upon.

It was our first visit to the restaurant and we didn't know what to expect...and we were pleasantly surprised with the service, the food and the fun atmosphere! The waitress was super helpful, didn't hover even though we told her we were new and were the only table when we ate an early dinner. Apparently the owner was formerly in the music biz and so all of her posters and autographed memorabilia is from her personal collection.HIGHLY recommend the breadsticks and 3 different dips! The cheese was OUTSTANDING, the butter sauce was soooo yummy and we delighted by the marinara! Can't wait to go again!

Expensive, bland, subpar. Their new location has a salad bar that is an over priced lettuce wedge. After spending over $50 four myself and two kids to eat we vowed never to return. Very disappointing as we try to support local small businesses.

Let me get to the end first. We won't go back. In looking at past reviews I can only assume that there was a change in management in the last year. So, now on to the experience. The pizza. This is not an adult pizza. It's a kid's pizza. Chucky Cheese quality. On sale at Marsh quality. Thin crust, with a sloppy top. Nothing to brag about at all. In fairness, I ate it...I mean to say I did not send it back. Other foods, my 12 year old had boneless wings. Sauce decent, but wings were D+, at best. Salad bar, VERY ho-hum. On the plus side, they had good beer. Good thing. The service. Well, the young lady tried, but she had to come back not once, but twice to tell us about everything they DIDN'T have, even after she had suggested one thing (that they didn't have). She seemed frustrated. The building. Believe it or not, fruit flies. I hate those buggers, and they had them. This means rotting vegetable/fruit somewhere. Also, upon entering the men's room I discovered the toilet HOPELESSLY clogged. Extremely gross. My daughter went in to the ladies room and came out saying we needed to go home so she could go to the bathroom. Yuck. The price: About what two large Papa John's pizza's and a six pack would have cost, so not bad. But the food/service/building was not good, so it balances out I guess. All in all a won't go back experience.

Consistently great pizza and friendly service. We love the breadsticks, the sandwiches are great for a weekday lunch, and the Caribbean Twist pizza is the bomb! Tends to be on the pricey side but the quality is worth it and there are always coupons available if you live locally and get mailers.

When you walk into Rockstar you KNOW you're in for an experience that is going to be unique, intriguing and fun! The walls are covered in music industry items. There's a few gold albums as well as back stage passes, signed photos and posters adorning the walls. The girls behind the counter are very sweet and also very pretty. Anyway, My dad and I went to try out the new Chicago style pizza, it was LOADED with meat, veggies and cheese. You know how some places have that over rosemaried taste on the pizza? Rockstar, doesn't do that .Furthermore I ate two pieces of this wonderful piece of art work and I was FULL! I know what you're thinking. You're thinking, "Oh Josh, isn't the pizza greasy? You know with it being LOADED with Meat, cheese and veggies, wouldn't it be greasy like those other places? NO! It's not greasy at all! Do this, take it home in a box, and when you get home, look in the box where the pizza rests. No grease stains. Go try it! Make sure to try the breadsticks too, They make em good! They were simply phenomenal! Crisp, just enough garlic and soft in the middle. Just the way I like it! Furthermore, The price is just right. 15 bucks for a 3 topping pizza? That's phenomenal! Oh I'll be back. There's no question about that. If I could complain about anything it would be about nothing having a bell or buzzer in the front. That place is loud and no one can hear you in the back unless you cough loudly.I spoke with the owner and he agreed with me. He told me that the bell had gotten stolen in the past. So as of right now, No bell, use your voice. I hope that by reading this review you get a better sense of what Rockstar has to offer their customers. And when you go, make sure to tell them Josh M. sent you!
