Rockits rocks. Their veggie pizza is the best...tomato, green pepper, and onion, along with amazing crust. It's priced well, too...and if the person working the line likes you at the moment, they might cut you a deal. :)

one of my favorite places in town. the food is pretty great (amazing breadsticks, very veg-friendly pizzas). the "service" (if you want to call it that) is always honest and friendly, and for late night people-watching, the atmosphere is unbeatable. i have had some of the funniest times of my bloomington life there, listening to horrible conversations, laughing at drunk people, getting in "fights" with "dudes," everything is always good. i love it.

  • Tim B.

Outstanding new-york-style pizza; one of the best in town. It's slightly (just a couple bucks) more expensive than some of its best competition, so I gotta take off a star. But this place definitely gets my business and my admiration.

  • Taylor O.

Stop by late after a show and some drinks next door at the Bluebird for a rockin' slice and a mess of crazy kids.

  • Isaac S.

A great place to grab a slice of pepporoni pizza to cap off a night of drinking. At 3am it's the best pizza in town. If it's any earlier, and you're getting delivery, I'd head to Aver's though.

  • Kyle V.

    perfectly cheap drunktime pizza

  • Joanna M.

It gets three stars because it's good if you're shitface drunk...that's about it though. It's basically greasy school cafeteria pizza.

  • Ryan M.

Rockit's falls into two categories: Drunk - best pizza ever Sober the next morning after you purchased a whole pizza - worst pizza of your life. Do NOT eat the leftovers. Caution: When drunk the parmesan cheese may look like the garlic powder. You've been warned.

We ordered a large sausage/pepperoni pizza for delivery. That was a mistake. After waiting almost TWO HOURS and having two phonecalls with some very clueless employees, I cancelled my order. I was assured my credit card would not be charged, but it has been. $20 spent on a long wait for absolutely nothing. It was a simple order and we were only 4 blocks away... Had I known I would have just walked... but... really guys?

$2 a slice, $5 for an 8" cheese. That's my kind of pricing. Pizzas took about 10 minutes on a Friday night. Zoom. And Rockit's keeps a giant bucket of water in the lobby to remind drunks they need to hydrate. Check out the wall graffiti for such gems as "CLITORANUS" and buffalo drawings.

The veggie pizza slices are manna from Heaven after a long night at The Vid or Bluebird. I like that every flavor of pizza is the same price. Rockit's is my kind of dive.

  • Jake H.

As long as you stick to pepperoni you're golden, it's a great, cheesy, gooey offering. They also have the best breadsticks in B-town.

  • Emily L.

Best. slice pizza (in Indiana). ever. They have a pretty vegan cheese thing there, too. [VeganZ for lunch!] It's great. It's local. To be frank - Mother Bear's is my favorite restaurant in town, but Rockit's is my favorite pizza. Fluckin' awesome. Side note: The pizza boxes are very sturdy and hold up well when used as weapons.

  • Jeff H.

Hands down: Best. Drunk. Pizza. Ever. Get some great (and cheap!) pizza, grab a booth, and make sure you put your name on the wall. Added Bonus: Free water and tons of red pepper flakes

  • Christen A.

Good drunk pizza for sure, great prices too. If you are looking for a pizza place during normal hours, I like Cafe Pizzeria or Max's Place more.

  • Mike F.

Best drunk pizza in Bloomington. Nothing--and I mean nothing--compares to it.

  • Mandy C.

I love Rockit's pizza! One of my favorites!

you're drunk, ok. that doesn't mean the pizza's any good.

  • Jason D.

A necessary pit stop after a crazy night at sports. Very tasty! You absolutely need a slice or two on the walk home after a night at the bars.

  • Wes M.

If it wasn't for their hours of operation and their convient location, this pizza place wouldn't last. As you can see by every other reviews, it's drunk food that hits the spot and serves it's purpose as something to line your stomach with copious amounts a grease. Thin crust New York style pizza with little flavor. Extremely limited seating, 3-4 booths, but awesome rock memorabilia on the walls that really bring life to the decor.

  • Ali M.

This place is the definition of a "hole in the wall" yes it can be smelly and crowdy from the late night crowd but I think that's what makes it special! Surprisingly, the quality of the pizza is really good! Almost like a NYC Pie ! Big plus for the late hours, which is important in a small town like Bloomington.

  • Robin K.

Late night pizza, here we come! Closest to NYC style pizza in Bloomington. Cute little spot right next to nightlife. They deliver, too!

  • Rodrigo M.

I keep coming back and they keep offering the same great pizza. Prices are reasonable, and they also have a Vegan pizza, which made my friend's night! Owners are VERY friendly too! Thumbs up!

I ordered my first rockits pizza the other night through btown menus and fell in love. But when I ordered again through btown menus they wouldnt deliver due to the map distance so rockits canceled my order. I wasnt happy until I spoke with amber which did everything she could to help. I wont order rockits off btown menus again but I will continue eating their delicious pizza. Amber you rock thank you for everything.

There is a certain charm to this place despite the undeniable rattiness. First, let me say that the food is less than stellar. I'm sure this is counterbalanced by the fact that places is open until 3 am but my pepperoni pizza was extremely greasy and edging towards rancid. . You can't do much better on a budget. On the other hand my friend, who was several beers ahead of me, really enjoyed his vegetarian pizza. So maybe it just matters at what point you are in the night? There is nothing fancy going on here with the food. The pizza is New York Style with the floppy crust and is really cheap ($2.50). The walls are decorated with broken drumheads, symbols, and guitars. There are also a number of signed promotional picks from bands. Given the heavy metal vibe of the place I was definitely surprised to see one signed by LL Cool J to Rockits. In sum, for a quick and dirty meal late at night, Rockit's is probably the place to be, but earlier in the evening you've got better options.

I ate at Rockit's more than I care to admit during my eight years living in Bloomington. The place is the size of a bandbox, the pizza is greasy, the crust is crispy, and the workers are borderline insane. But the "love sticks"...DAMN, I don't believe I have found a more perfect breadstick since leaving B-town. I could (and often did) eat those wonderously crispy, warm sticks of love for days on end. Close to the Bluebird and the Vid; this was my jam for several years of post-drinking grub. I'm sure it is nowhere as good as I remember, but now I am thinking a return to Bloomington is in order to see if those sticks are still as tasty as I remember. Maybe I'll fold some pizza boxes for them to see if I'll get a free slice, just for old time's sake?

Ordered from here about 2 weeks ago with my girlfriend on a weeknight around 11pm. We waited over an hour for the food to arrive, no big deal, I understand that pizza places are busy, especially around that time at night. Our food arrived at my house and it was pretty crappy honestly. We ordered a thing of cheese stix, a medium pepperoni/cheese pizza, and breadsticks. All of the food, literally ALL of it was at room temperature, which sucked. It wasn't even remotely warm. We ended up having to microwave the pizzas we'd JUST ordered in order for it to even be edible. We had maybe 1-2 slices of pizza and a couple cheese sticks, and a bite out of the breadsticks before we called it quits and just gave the food away to a housemate. To say the least, I wasn't impressed at all with Rockit's and won't be ordering from there for the remainder of my years at IU.
