OK. This is your typical Moe's chain. Compared to other Moe's I've been to, this one is far from the top. Its run down quite a bit which doesn't surprise me. Its always dead in Moe's. They are great about making you feel welcome. The iconic entry "Welcome to Moe's" ensures my comfort level to ask questions about the ever changing menu. Its kind of like Subway for burritos here. They have a LOT more veggie configurations when compared to Chopotle or Qdoba. I LOVE that they have tofu.....and their tofu is to die for. Fresh and pickled jalapeños on the line? Fresh chopped cilantro? Free chips with an unlimited salsa bar?!!! The extras here are awesome. Doesn't seem to matter what type of anything you order. Just say "burrito" and they'll figure out what type at the end. Pricing has always confused me here. My last word: load up on the green medium salsa (unless you see me.. .then save me some!)

I had a great experience with Moe's. I went in a few days ago and I waited around for only a minute or so because they had a large take out order to fill, and the manager came out and made my order himself. He kept apologizing for my wait and gave me free extras on my burrito. I just felt the care and passion from them and experienced great customer service. I would definitely go back again.

Showed up 30 minutes before the posted closing time and immediately was told they were no longer serving. Fortunately traveled 10 minutes down the road to Qdoba (with the same posted closing time) and was greeted with excellent service. Hadn't been to Moes in years and likely won't try again.

Love love love the queso! Good selection for gluten-free diets. Free refills on soda, salsa, and chips. I make it a point to find the nearest Moe's while travelling. Have the app too.

DO NOT FILTER THIS! It is really annoying that the negative reviews for Moe's get sorted. People have legitimate gripes, and people should be aware of their terrible business practices and sub par food. I ordered from Btownmenus for delivery. I sat and waited for an hour. I go back on to btownmenus and see that they have changed their status to not delivering until 5. They just cancelled my order and sent me an email way later. Really cool of them! This place can eat my shit.

I ordered delivery from them. It was nice that the chips weren't coated in salt, but I noticed that the chips and salsa had a weird burned after-taste. That kinda creeped me out after a while because I find it to be even more unpleasant to taste something bad when I have no idea where it's coming from. And ugh... it drives me nuts when restaurants wrap tacos in foil; It just makes the taco soggy and a mess to eat. Sure enough that's what the do here... The burrito was okay... The toppings sure did help. I'd only order from them again if I was really hungry and they had a ridiculous sale going on... bah. Bloomington, where are hiding all the good Mexican food?? Apparently Moe hasn't found it either...

Moe's is like Subway for Mexican fast food. Tacos, burritos, nachos, etc., are assembled for you behind a counter. The food is fresh, and sauces/salsas are flavorful. You get your own drink, a selection from many sodas or teas. Prices are reasonable, higher than a Taco Bell, but so is the food quality and selections. There are vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore selections available. Lots of choices are available, and while there can be long lines, they move pretty quickly. The furnishings are getting old and beaten up, but it's clean and comfy otherwise. Just some holes in cushions. Parking can be weird, but there are usually spots nearby. Get a napkin from the Starbucks and use the US Gov't spots (apparently if you're a Starbucks customer, you can park in the gov spots). YMMV. Overall, good food, reasonable price, although the interior's getting old fast.

My friend and I both ordered from Moe's tonight on Btownmenus.com about 30 minutes apart from each other. About an hour after she ordered her food, she called Moe's to check to make sure they were still coming. They said that they were on their way. An hour later, the food arrived. The burrito was ice cold, the chips were stale, and the ice had melted in the cups. An hour and a half after I ordered my food, my burrito finally arrived. I had ordered a steak burrito with queso. I had paid extra for steak and queso. I received neither. My burrito was also cold. Don't order from Moe's if you expect your food to be on time and prepared properly. I probably won't order there ever again.

We ordered and after about half an hour they simply cancelled our order. No call, no reason why, just an email saying it was cancelled. Do not give them your money.

I discovered Moe's for the first time when I moved to Bloomington in 2009. Since then, I have been (at the least) a weekly visitor. Their loyalty tracker has me logged at 95 visits as of today (you get a free entree for every ten visits) and I never seem to get enough! I have tried everything on the menu at least once and have never been left wanting. They have a little something for everyone (including grilled tofu for the meatless folks) and everything in the place is grilled fresh - that's right, no microwaves! Try it once and you'll be hooked. Guaranteed!

I ordered Moes's from btown menus and the order took TWO HOURS to be delivered. I was less than a mile from the store. I called to check on the status of my order and was hung up on the first time, and given the run around the second time. After finally getting the food it was COLD and WRONG! The ice in our drinks was melted, and they forgot to give us salsa and napkins. BY FAR THE WORST PLACE TO ORDER FOOD FROM. THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE and the employees are EVEN WORSE!!!

Most of the time, when I walk out of places like Moe's I feel like I enjoyed my meal but I can't really pin-point why. But for some reason, I know exactly why I love and can never get enough of Moe's. Two words: Salsa Bar. Seriously, whoever came up with this concept should win a Nobel peace prize. Who doesn't love salsa? Who doesn't love sitting at your table and trying out a bagillion different types of salsa with your delicious chicken burrito that is basically the size of your head. Yes, I know that La Bamba's says their burritos are as big as your head but unless it's 3am and I'm just leaving Kilroy's, Moe's is my burrito of choice in B-town.

Not good at all. first off we ordered 3 meals, with those 3 meals you get chips and pico de gallo per meal. We just received chips dumped into the bag. Our burritos were cold by the time we got them, not really that big of deal cause we had them delivered. But i got a pulled pork burrito, and didnt notice until half way through the pork was bright pink....not a color of pork you should eat. So i was trying to call the number, no one answered and it went to voicemail. so i called back, same. so they cant answer their phones. so if you order this go there to tell them they suck instead of ordering it online and not being able to reach anyone.

The food is tasty but the delivery service SUCKS. We ordered online through btownmenus.com and it took 2 hours before we finally canceled the order. The food IS good, though, so I recommend that if you want it, GO IN, DON'T ORDER ONLINE!!

I was really a big fan of Moe's but since they changed ownership the quality has dropped off. My last stop there I ordered a Art Vandalay which is a vegetarian burrito. It was 75% rice! The remaining 25% was just put in the center of the burrito with nothing but rice on the ends. Makes Taco Bell look good! I never thought I would say that!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
