Not including the staff's "attractiveness" in this review, because seriously this isn't a strip club. We come in when we have a free appetizer coupon (we're cheap) and the food is consistently good, which isn't a given even for a chain restaurant. Our steak is almost always cooked to order, and there's a fair variety of sides and appetizers to choose from. The staff are friendly and fun to interact with; the woman who dropped a mini plate on me the other night was hilariously apologetic. My only real complaint is that the music is generally cranked up to unnecessary levels, which requires people to talk louder to be heard over it, which makes the whole place pretty uncomfortably loud some nights. Other than that, we like Texas Roadhouse very much.

A regular stop for the family, good food for the price. The 6oz sirloin steak is just the right size for those watching their diet, just remember to go easy on the yummy rolls :-)

My waiter Derek was a nice guy! Service was good! The food on the other hand...?? So my steak came out luke warm, I brought it to the attention of my waiter, Derek, he took the steak back. His General manager, Bob Kirk brought back the same steak that I sent back.....gross! So now my medium steak is now medium well. This will definitely be my last trip here. Bob Kirk, please work on your customer service skills! I'm sure through your training you were taught better customer service than what you provided

We had been to the Texas Roadhouse in Anderson a couple of years ago and had a good experience, so we were looking forward to stopping in for dinner during a recent trip to the area. We arrived early enough to be seated without waiting, but by the time we left the place was very busy. Our server was excellent and the meal started off very good. The warm rolls and butter were delicious. The house salad was good as was the shrimp dinner, which my wife had. I ordered a 16oz. prime rib (medium rare) and baked potato. The baked potato was ok, but the prime rib arrived a little overcooked. It was dry and tasted like ham. We were short on time so I didn't send it back, but when a manager came around asking about our experience, I told her what I thought. She seemed eager to make things right and said if that ever happened again to please ask to send it back and give them a chance to get it right. She took $8 off our bill which I passed along to our server, who I feel did a great job. So, I would advise you to stay away from the prime rib, but otherwise it's OK. There are not a lot of other options in the area.

Good, but not great. The staff were really nice and friendly with my "difficult family members." My steak was overcooked but the waiter was willing to get me another one. They have the best salads and the blooming onion was really good; the dipping sauce had an odd flavor to it..

I usually like Texas Roadhouse but this visit was below average. The ribs were very dry - drier than I've had before. I ordered the mashed potatoes loaded and I won't order loaded again. Just some cheddar cheese and bacon bits sprinkled on top. My dining companions enjoyed their steaks. The service was excellent although a bit slow at the start, the waitress seemed to not have noticed us right off. Substitutions were no problem. I would rate this higher if my ribs had not been disappointing.

Texas Roadhouse is definitely one of, if not the best restaurant in Anderson. The food is delicious, the staff is attractive and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is always lively and everyone is having a good time. My favorite entree is the Hearty Cut sirloin steak with cajun seasoning added. All of their steaks are hand-cut in house and cooked very well. This is the busiest restaurant in Anderson, so be prepared to wait a while if you go during busy hours.

I'll admit I didn't have high expectations going in here, since Anderson is sort of Podunk, USA. However, service was good and the warm rolls and soft butter hit the spot. They served Diet Coke. The Dallas filet I ordered was perfectly cooked to medium and the sweet potato my sister ordered as her side was incredibly moist and tasty. (Yes, I always pick food off my sister's plate.) On the negative side, I ordered a regular old baked potato and it was dry and overcooked. Also my caesar salad came out looking sort of odd and it took me a while to realize it was because they forgot to put any croutons on it. WTH? Fortunately, my nephew's girlfriend didn't want her house salad croutons so she gave them to me. I'd give it a solid 3 1/2 stars because there aren't a lot of options in Anderson. I'd come back now that I know to order the sweet potato and the house salad.

Its been awhile that i was here was always curious about there food since i would see so much traffic there. So for my birthday my boyfriend took my children, our infant daughter and my parents here. Haha i was not so sure about the place when i seen the floor covered in peanut shells and trash! Staff worked hard to place our large family where we could sit together since tables do not move. Food was ok but almost luke warm and im not used to smoked flavor but i sat thru it. Im so glad i did the staff brong out my cake and everyone sang! Then my boyfriend proposed to me!!! So i will always have wonderful memory-if we stop in again ill drink beer and eat peanuts its not for my tastebuds. Love the staff tho

Ordered the BBQ chicken, it was very well seasoned, very tender and very juicy. About the only thing you can complain about is the extremely loud music levels.
