We have been ordering from China Garden for a couple years now, and this time was the final straw. They get our order incorrect most of the time. I always ask for no Bok Choy in what ever I get, and most of the time it is there anyway. When I call about it, the lady tells me "it was just a little bit". Well, when I say NO bok choy, that means "not even a little bit"! Also.. they keep raising the price more than what the menu says. When I call them on it, they argue with me and try to say the new menus are not out yet. they did it again last night.. and I did not bother to call them on it this time... I figured... I'm not going to order from there anymore, and I am going to let everyone know just how sneaky they are! Also.. they will not give you a receipt unless you ask for one.. that way they can get away with charging extra. I will not order from there again! and I suggest you do not order from there!

I have had delivery from here a handful of times and have been very happy every time. Food is always hot when it arrives, and had been good. Staff seems nice when I call to order and seem to give a accurate time for delivery.

I order from China Garden whenever I'm in the mood for Chinese. The food is always excellent but the customer service is terrible!!! We ordered a large order and asked the person answering the phone if one of the dishes came with white rice or can they get fried rice, and she said yes she can get fried rice with it. A few minutes after I placed the order I received a call to let me know they were out of shrimp egg rolls...how does that happen at a Chinese restaurant??? When the delivery person came we were missing the fried rice and I called to request that it be delivered. The owner got on the phone and didn't back up her employee and was very rude stating that she would have to talk to the "girl"!!! She also stated that when they couldn't give us the egg rolls we ordered she also canceled the fried rice and didn't charge us for it...I was never asked if I wanted to be charged for the fried rice that I would have been happy to pay for even though their "girl" messed up and they didn't stand behind their employee!!! When I told them I still want it because it was my daughter's birthday, she keep saying are you going to pay for it. I said yes but you really need to stand behind your mistake and asked if she wanted my credit card and she hung up. When the rice arrived the delivery person wanted cash and also charged us delivery again!!! I'm sorry but I will never order from this establishment again seeing they are so unprofessional and don't respect their employees and customers...very disappointed!!!

I was really hoping for this place to be good. Let's just say I have never stopped eating Chinese food after a few bites and thrown the rest away. Until now. We won't be back.

I really enjoy China Garden. My husband is from New York and New York has the best Chinese food I've ever had. China Garden is about as close as it gets to New York flavored Chinese around here. I've tried a ton of stuff on their menu and have liked everything. My favorite is the chicken fried rice and the orange chicken. My daughter loves their lo mein and my husband and neighbors love the chicken and broccoli. My husband has also had their lunch buffet and said it is great. Their flavors are consistent, the food is always hot, fresh, and ready fast. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Chinese food. It is great for take out, or eating in. It can be a bit pricey; however, that has never stopped us from driving all the way from Aurora to quench the craving!

This place was ok. There sesame chicken is really good and crispy. Fried rice not so good. It didn't really have flavor. Lo mein looked and tasted like ramen noodles. :( The cashier/waiter was pretty nice. Probably just go back for sesame chicken.

The sweet and sour chicken was really greasy, the shrimp fried rice was bland and the fried shrimp appetizer was like a shrimp puff, all puff and very greasy too. Sorry, we won't be back.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
