be ready to wait....service sux!!! The pepperoni pizza is the best. The other pizzas I have had all needed seasoning n were kinda mushy, but tasted ok the next day as leftovers !
Almost always good pizza. Sometimes crust bottom and edges are burnt. Breadsticks can be dark at times too. Waitresses are usually nice and friendly but have had situations with rude people answering the phone which leads to me not ordering from them. They also usually have good coupons as well. The punch cards come in handy if you frequent the restaurant,
First time we stopped Monicals sat for eight minutes nobody came to the table no service so we left thank God for Pizza Hut seated served and talk to within 30 seconds

Amishland Red Barn Buffet

This is more of a small cafeteria than a buffet. Your choices are very limited and the food is of average quality. The only thing that was Amish about this place was the word they used in the name.
I was expecting a whole lot more. But it was a big buffet area with only one side open. Their main entrees were limited to basically fried chicken, fried shrimp, steak and some slivers of ham. The salad bar hardly had salad type ingredients but consisted of 12 types of jello. The dessert section lacked anything I would call "Amish cooking" (where's the apple pie?). The food itself was good...what was actually out there. But for the $12 a head, it's not worth the price. Plus the restrooms were super scary.
good food, bland but I will return again when I go shopping. everything I expensive.

I'm a local and eat here quite often. The staff turnover is quite low and they know our usual requests. The food is always consistent, and I think pretty good. Fried eggs tend to be on the runny side, so our over-easy family always orders over-medium. My favorite right now is the breakfast wrap with the bacon and avocado. YUM! We usually order breakfast or hamburgers, though I enjoy the tilapia as well. The few times we've had the t-bone or shrimp, they've done well with them. We also love the late-night menu but don't get there very often during those hours. While just a "Denny's", it's one of the better restaurants in our small town (unless you're looking for Mexican, then you'd better head to Potros!). They have booths and tables; tables can be joined together for larger groups. Can be busy on Sunday after church. They have a great kids' menu and kids eat free on Tuesdays. They also have a seniors' menu that offers slightly smaller portions for less money and you don't have to be a senior to order them. Open 24 hours.
My friend and I stopped at this location on our way further south in Illinois during a weekend roadtrip. We arrived around 5:30am and were 2 of 4 guests in the entire restaurant (not surprised for such an early morning). They must have just opened because we saw a few staff walking in after us to begin their shift. Food: Good and served quickly. I ordered: A breakfast wrap with avocado and red potatoes - yum! The potatoes were a perfect alternative to greasy hashbrowns and were well seasoned. My friend ordered french toast that had caramel and bananas on it and it looked delicious. She said it was quite good. The service was pretty standard but we enjoyed the old timey diner feel they were going for. The location is good, right off the highway. When we return to this area again, we will probably stop by since it's one of the only locations open this early in the whole area. One note about oour experience: When we arrived, the place was an icebox; it was freezing! They must have not turned on the heat when they first arrived to open the reasturant that morning. Brrr! Luckily they turned it on while we were there and it warmed up quickly.
First of all, what the hell is that funky smell? Stop letting your dish washer use his cup to scoop ice. Big sanitation no no is scooping ice with the cup or glass. Cooks have no sense of timing but that could be because they're in a hurry to go outside and smoke. Looks as if the cute girl with the dyed red hair is the only person concerned with her appearance...
