The fried cod was AMAZING! It was so good they couldn't talk me into trying their other fish, but I'm sure it's just as delicious! The hot potato salad is always a must. The service is excellent and this is our hometown bar for sure! We often bring family and friends and we are NEVER disappointed!

Contrary to a previous review, never aeen this place super crowded, especially with "frat boys" however we're never here fri or sat night. Food is excellent, in paticular the burger s and the staff is very warm and friendly

Stopped in for lunch on my way to visit a client. Very friendly bar tender and a good looking bar menu. Ordered a Italian beef and sausage sandwich. Came with a side of amazing "fried potato salad". This alone would make a return trip from Milwaukee worthwhile! Fried pickles were good too! Would definitely come back the next time I'm in Sycamore!

I haven't had many drinks here recently but I recently tried the food and it was pretty darn good. I've added a star for that and I'll be back to delve further into the menu.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch here last Friday because we were in town to go to D&D Jewelers and I was surprisingly impressed with our experience. Our waitress, who was also the bartender, was very attentive and sociable and our food came out quickly and was delicious. The food is priced very reasonably and the the food was cooked perfectly. I ordered the American burger and I was very impressed with the turn out, the burger was cooked perfectly and the lettuce and other veggies were fresh, the fries were also very delicious (like only bars and diners can do.) I have already been talking to my friends to see if they would like to go out and try them for a "going out to the bar" night. I would recommend them at least for the food/lunch aspect of their business, I did not have any of their drinks because it was kinda early but I'm planning on going back to try some out.
