Decent pizza, not great, not horrible. I wouldn't seek them out, but I also wouldn't object if someone else wanted to go there. The toppings were generous, but the sauce was very unremarkable. The highlight was actually the side salad. It was made with your basic salad ingredients, but they were very fresh. I liked the fact they served it in a larger bowl which made mixing it easier.

I'm here from the Chicago burbs for a work training. We ordered Luca delivery: a veggie Neopolitan crust and fried mushrooms. Now, I love Chicago pizza but I'm not a purist. I also enjoy many other types of pizza. I felt slightly misguided with the Neopolitan choice of words. What we received was a basic thin crust pizza, this is NOT traditional Neopolitan pizza. The pie was good, nothing hugely remarkable but nothing terrible or close to it. Mushrooms were also good. Service in the phone was good. I had to call to ask about where to find a menu because their website was down (always a little concerning to me with a restaurant) but the employee was able to successfully guide me to a menu on a different website (other location maybe? Not sure, confusing.) Interesting: they told me it would take 1 hour and 40 minutes. I have never been told that for a delivery wait time. Ever. Fortunately it was less, at 1 hour total. If you order delivery keep that in mind.

I am visiting in Springfield and decided I did't want the usual delivery pizzas - Pizza Hut, Dominos, and Papa Johns. So I looked on yelp and saw good reviews of Luca. We ordered and can I say we were not disappointed. I'm not a pizza person but it was delivered HOT. The cheese was like we had ordered double portions. The ingredients were all savory and good. We ordered a thin pizza but each slice was packed. While I only could eat one slice my family members all slogged down two. And we went to bed. If I'm ever in Luca with kids again we are headed to Luca. #foodcritic

The salad was fresh. The pizza was great! I really like the pizza by the slice. It's hard to finish one. Great service. The manager Webb was polite and easy to talk to. I'll be coming back.

Great! We usually go with the Neapolitan style, which is round and thin like New York style pizza. This time we went for the Sicilian style, which is square and the crust thick and fluffy. We loved it, gobbled up a 16" in no time and were left with only two pieces -that is for a family of 6 (my wife, me and 4 small children). Also, it is important for us to not get super salted out by pizza and we are happy to report that Luca is about the only pizza place that we can eat and not wake up in the middle of the night parched as if we had been in the desert for days with no water. This is important because The weekend is time for fun and family, not for cooking. Overall, this place and Joe's Italian Pizza on the west side are the only acceptable pizza places we have found in Springfield so far.

Luca's just opened this as a new location. After the company was recommended by a friend, we thought we would check it out.... the establishment had multiple employees working. They looked at us like we were crazy when we walked in and we're not very nice at all. After standing there, they finally seated us. No one else was there eating! The sign says open till 10. We got there at 9:10. After being seated, 15 minutes go by and some kid comes up and says we're closed!! We were baffled!! Luca's pizza does very bad business and we are very disappointed by the service at the Dirksen location. This new location will not be open very long if they continue to do business like this.
