Magical. Every need was met. Staff was friendly, courteous and made sure everything was just right. The price may seem steep but it completely worth it. We recommend this place to everyone: locals and out of towners.
This place is rated great on google. We would have given it a try this year when we went to Williams to cut down our Christmas tree but they do not allow pets. We've got a great Golden Retriever that loves Williams and the tree farm. Oh well. Maybe another time. copperstoneinn.com
Amazing location. Amazing decor. Amazing service. Amazing room. Amazing breakfast. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Need I say more? Really, the other reviewers have already said all I could say about this place. Do yourself and the missus a favor. Stay there...now

Wow, what a bunch of mixed reviews. We loved it! It is a charming place in a town that could use some charm. Service is not quick so know that before coming here. I had one of their melts on sourdough. It was delish, full of perfectly melted cheeses, fresh tomatoes and the bread was grilled just right. I had it with their homemade potato chips and recommend those too. Daughter had a quesadilla and hubs and a burger. They both enjoyed their choices. I wouldn't recommend bringing a large group here. It's not the kind of place. This is the type of place you go to with your best friend talk about the affair one of you is having or wants to have while lingering over some really tasty, home-made food. Wink, wink! They are known for hosting bridal and baby showers. Seems like a lovely spot for shower.
Not that great. We were the only party there for lunch on a Sunday a few months ago, which I thought was odd. Too pricey for what you get in my opinion.
Awkward.. took 10 minutes to get a drink... then 5 for otder... then 40 minutes for burger they got wrong... will NEVER BE BACK. Food... so so..

This is one or the few places I have found that has Land Shark bottles. Every time I go, the bartender is very friendly, conversational and responsive. The 1/2 lb burger is made on a sub bun instead of a hamburger bun, unlike their 1/4 lb burger. They also lack the basic idea of culinary science by not putting the cheese before the lettuce and tomato. The moisture from these guys made the bread soggy and fall apart near the end of the meal. I would not recommend getting the burger at all. The cheese is supposed to be used as a moisture barrier so the lettuce or tomato doesn't get the bread wet/soggy. Besides the burger, I love the atmosphere and decor. Really good place to check out.
Great Fish Fry on Friday night. Karaoke usually follows around nine, while not "The Voice" quality, it's pretty good. Several family visits with 4 - 10 people at a time. Salad bar is restocked in timely fashion. The crappie and the whitefish seem to be the best and a couple of us (adult son and myself) had seconds. Kids had burgers and fries - scarfed them up. Some of us had chicken, which was very tasty. We always enjoy the fish fry. Beer was cold. Free refills on ice tea and soft drinks. Service was very good despite being very busy on Friday nights. On another occasion a friend and I enjoyed the Fish Fry while eating in the bar area. No complaints. Suggest you call ahead to get on the wait list, or you might be sitting or SRO for a while. Get here early for the Fish Fry or the service declines and the food sometimes runs out. No points for running out of food when the restaurant does a "land office business" on Friday nites. Parking is usually a problem, try a drop off if no space is available.... good luck finding something nearby. From a facility perspective, If you are looking for a WOW factor, it's not here. Older building, somewhat dated motif in restaurant and a bit dingy. Just perfect for a small town guy (me) and a small town crowd. Am going to try the Prime Rib one of these days - heard it was pretty good. Others say not so much. We'll see!
What is the attraction? Only plus side to our meal was the beverages were nice and cold? Ordered Elk burgers, my wife's was salty, mine was cold. But wait, our appetizer came 2 minutes prior to our order, seriously. Back to diner, we are convinced that one of us did not get an elk burger, neither tasted the same, to be honest neither tasted like elk (I hunt elk). My wife's sweet potato fries looked like they were left overs from the other diners that were "warmed" up in a microwave, my "homemade" chips were either salty or soggy, how does that happen. WON'T RETURN, EVER.

If you just must have Chinese food, and don't really care whether it is all that good, this place will do. Probably they do some dishes very well; every place has its strengths. Orange Chicken is not a strength here. The dish looks as if they add some sort of food coloring to it--nothing is naturally that "Orange." The batter is rather heavy and the sauce not well balanced. I found the fried rice tolerable, but nothing to praise. They should probably leave the shrimp out, since it is not appetizing to see the excrement-filled intestinal tract intact in the shrimp. I found the BBQ pork appetizer very unappealing--I have never had it come to the table drenched in nasty glop as I have had it around here--a local style? The Cantonese-style fried shrimp were probably the best part of the meal, and even they were just about average. If you truly love Chinese food, and care about the quality of what you are eating--please keep looking. If you just need a Chinese food fix and aren't too particular, then, yeah, go ahead, eat here, but please don't say nobody told you.
Almost didn't go, it was mid afternoon and it looked deserted. My husband said he used to eat here as a kid and it was good. We decided to head to imperial palace in roscoe instead. After checking online reviews on both we decided to go back to china palace. We were the only guests there and there was one employee who my guess was the female owner. She was very nice. The egg drop soup and egg roll were fantastic! My entree was egg foo yong, fried rice and beef chop suey. I had never had egg foo yong and I loved it. The rice and chop suey were a bit salty for my tastes but I will definitely return for another meal.
Love it! The food is always wonderful. I wish they would post the menu online though.
