I am so glad I found this place! On the water in this really neat older looking building was just the beginning of this great experience. The inside was decent size and it was perfect decor and tables for a micro brewery! The menu wasn't huge but let me tell you everything we ordered was awesome!!!! Absolutely delicious!! We also tried 3 beers and they were all really good! I wanna go back in summer and sit outside and try more beer and some other menu items!! Yum!!!!

Nice place, good beer, kinda pricey. But not too bad. Okay service. Went to the bathroom and left my beer outside the door and a worker threw it out.

Had some mixed feelings about this review. More of a 3.5 The atmosphere, location, building and concept of the brewery is AWESOME. Staff was good/attentive for the most part. Food is great. But the beer on the other hand is sub par. The only beer that they were on point with was the barleywine. They don't have any bad beers, that's for sure --they just don't have anything that sets this place apart from the others. They have nothing on Carlyle or Pigminds. - To me they seem more like a restaurant than a brewery. I'll def be back though

So you won't seat a party of 25 people on a Friday? Even with 1 weeks notice? That is crazy! I will take my group of 25 people to Carlyle Brewing Company. They can accommodate us with no issues. Too bad you're letting 25 people go. I will let them all know of this experience as well.

Some of the best beer I have ever had, and the food is just as good! I have been there on multiple occasions both for group events and casual nights out with friends and every time has been a great experience. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent beer, and all around a great place. I highly recommend Rockford Brewing Company!

So much to say. To sum up, I'd say, "top notch". Let's break it down... Atmosphere: My wife and I are big on atmosphere, and we were very impressed. Prime location close to downtown Rockford right on the rock river. I can imagine it's hopping in the summer with live music and outdoor seating. This place opened up in June of 2014 so it is pretty clean and new but has an early 20th century industrial feel. The building is huge with many rooms outside the restaurant area, and appears to be perfect for holding large events. Love the all wood bar...when sitting at it you can admire the brewing area through a large window. The handles for the beer taps were wrenches! Very cool. Food: We went for lunch. Ordered the poutine as an appetizer. Never had poutine before so we don't have anything to compare but it was sooo good! I ordered the vegetarian burger which had a very unique and ultra tasty home-made walnut cheddar patty. Props to the chef for the great idea. Normally restaurants skimp on veggie burgers. My wife got the fish tacos. A graduate of culinary school and not easy to impress when it comes to food, I trust her opinion. She said it was the best fish taco she's ever had! No desert, we were stuffed. Beer: I got a flight of four. Starting with the "Petritz pale ale" one of their "flagship" brews using an original rockford brewing company recipe from 1949. I enjoyed it! Very tasty and smooth. Next was their coffee stout and it was good. I enjoyed the apple ale next. It was slightly sweet and a bit sour. Last was my favorite of the four... the west coast ipa. The first sip slapped me with a wave of citrus and after gave my taste buds a chance to simmer I enjoyed the hop flavor. I believe the ibu on this beer was 68. Yum. Some friendly strangers at the bar offered me a sip of vanilla kolsch. They didn't like it and neither did I. One of the best brewery/restaurants I think I'll ever go to! Looking forward to eating leftovers today!

Great beer made at the brewing company... check great food to accompany beer... check fun, laid back and hipster ambiance... check on the river with great views... check parking nearby.. check What's not to like!? The beers are all great (and you can sample via flights.. before committing to one) and they have something for everyone. They range from light to stouts.. and it's all a great range! There is definitely something to fit your mood The food also is great: wings: I love spicy so the buffalo, habanero buffalo are my favorites- and I also like the kentuckyacki- which is a savory/sweet blend the giant pub pretzel never disappoints and the cheese dipping sauce is soo good (I once licked it out of the dipping container... I did it secretly when no one was watching!) the flatbreads are all great I have had the veggie burger (really good and tasty and I love the pretzel bun, it doesn't get soggy) the walleye is cooked to perfection pulled pork sandwich is always a good standby and pretty tasty for dessert- we had the pie in a pint (a fun way to eat pie) I would definitely come back again. It's great for groups (it's loud too) and has a really fun atmosphere. I love the exposed brick and the high tables and also regular tables. This is a great place to take guests to impress them as well. oh- and now they have food specials: Monday: Mac & Cheese Tuesday: $5 Burger or Chicken Sandwich Wednesday: Crepes Thursday: $3 Tacos Friday: Fresh Catch of the Day (Market Price) $12 Baked or Fried Cod Saturday: Oh So Tender Prime Rib Dinner They also have a beutiful event space- great for weddings, get togethers and they have beautiful views of the river and the dock. It's a perfect all-in-one package

Am I in Rockford? Nice brewery ambiance, great food! Upscale vibe and menu. The shrimp Mac and cheese isn't what you expect, it's way better. Beautiful spot on the river with outdoor dining.

Came to Rockford 2 see Ice hogs hockey game. Looking for a pre game meal. I actually waz planning to go 2 Carlyle brewing since Ive been there b4 & enjoyed it. I guess they felt they didnt need Sunday Business. Enter Rockford Brewery. A newer place. I enjoyed the pulled pork, the pretzels & son had a good burger & daughter enjoyed a BLT. Beer was good, creme ale & coffee stout. The waitress said they were understaffed. Slow service. Shoulda planned for the pregame hockey crowd. However it was worth the stop & a good review. They need to get round shades 4 their windows as I was destroyed by the sun @ 130-200 pm. However a decent experience.

Last night was my third or fourth time there and I had a couple 10 oz beers (more breweries should offer that size) and the fish fry. First of all, like others have stated, the historic building is awesome and right on the river. Ambiance is fabulous. Being that it was a Friday night and there appeared to be a large party at their banquet facility and the City Market was going on virtually next door made parking quite a headache. At least it was a comfortable June evening and walking to the Brewery was a minimal hardship. The beer is good but nothing memorable. The vanilla kohlsch had such a mild hint of vanilla it was barely noticeable, but it was refreshing. The pale ale was a little thin. The IPA was the best selection I had but bitterness lingered in my mouth. The actual fish in the fish fry was snow white, flaky, and cooked perfectly. The batter, however, was super salty and I ended up peeling it away on my second piece. The fries were very good but were only Luke warm when the plate arrived. Servers at the bar were great and I'm sure I'll visit again considering its uniqueness for Rockford.

My wife and I really like this place and a beautiful view of Rock River. Food was good. Beer was good. Would have given 5 stars except the dressing was supposed to be on the side.

We headed to Rockford Brewing Company for the first time for a late lunch/early dinner. Upon finding the entrance, a nice heavy set of four wooden doors sort of welcomed us, except that the first two we tried opening were locked. We joined my parents in the dining room which was pretty noisy even with five tables empty. Several times throughout our stay there I had to ask people to repeat themselves. The tall dining tables were supported by what looked to be iron pipes, which I found to be a cool touch. The exposed brick walls and tall arched windows added a warm feeling to the space. We started with some poutine to share, and it was delicious, although we had them keep the pork belly on the side and after sampling it, I'm glad we made that choice. I'm just not a fan of pork belly I guess. The cheese curds were wonderfully savory and the herb topping, while I'm not sure what it was, added a great touch. I never order fish tacos because I've never seen Mahi Mahi offered before, so I decided to try the ones at Rockford Brewing. The fish strips had some tasty grill char marks and the bang bang sauce had a decent heat to it. The corn kernels were fresh and crispy, but overall the tacos were somewhat drippy, maybe either due to the tomato or the fish. At least the corn tortillas held up to the challenge. The black bean side pretty much tasted like a cup of chili to me. I could skip it. It was kind of a haul to get to the bathrooms, but there were some interesting antique displays along the way. As far as the beer, I did enjoy my vanilla Kölsch-style beer although the vanilla flavor was a lot more pronounced than I would have expected. I could have drank another one, which is not the case with a lot of flavored beers I try. Mr. R, much more of a beer fan than I, was a fan of the Nickolob and the light beer he tried. Our server was friendly, however she was somewhat scarce when we first arrived and also when we needed our bill. If I lived nearby, I could see being a regular at the bar, throwing back some beers and some of the addictive poutine, but for a group dinner I think I would try to seek out somewhere a little more quiet.

A perfect summer day that was topped off with as close to a perfect dinner as we could have imagined. Sitting outside on their beautiful dock was only part of what made our dinner great. My wife and I shared their massive pulled pork nachos and their pulled pork sandwich. The nachos alone could have fed four people! And they were so good!! The star of the show was definitely the pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun, with a healthy serving of coleslaw right in the sandwich (just the way I like it :) Now for the beers. I wasn't feeling too adventurous so I went with their hefewiezen to start. Which is by far the best Hefe I've ever had in my opinion. Then I tried a blackberry kolsch that was recommended to me but I didn't care for that much so I just went back to the Here. I'm not a huge summer beer fan so the available selection didn't really appeal to me. Our one miniscule complaint that probably doesn't deserve mentioning. The bees were kind of annoying and they definitely multiplied as our dinner progressed. We do understand that is just part of eating outside, it just started to become a nuisance. We eventually left maybe a little sooner than we anticipated because of the bees. All in all... This place is amazing!! It's a beautiful, eclectic, friendly atmosphere with an amazing view and even better food and drinks.

I would say, during the summer at least, that this is the happen-est place in town. The food here is amazing and they like to experiment on the menu sometimes, which I LOVE. I have had literally the BEST mac and cheese I've had in my entire life, blackened shrimp mac and cheese, I STRONGLY suggest trying it! During the warmer months they have the docks open and having dinner by the river is simply blissful. Thursdays they have live music on the docks too. Once a month the Rockford AV Club hosts a "Brews and Views" nights. I've attended this once before and was delightfully pleased. This is a solid place to go for any occasion. It's both classy and casual. Furthermore, I really like that they are engaged in the community; their beer can be found at the City Market on Fridays and at Music in the Park on Thursday during the summer! So the reason I only gave it 4 stars is because of the beer. Please don't misunderstand, the beer here is good, HOWEVER when I compare it to the other local breweries it falls short. I rank Pig Minds and Carlyle above RBC, respectively. This is not to say that RBC doesn't have good beer, it's simply not my first choice for local beer; I will say that it gets better with each visit though.

Overall: there wasn't a single thing I didn't like about this place. The beer is really good and although the menu isn't large they have enough different options and all the food that we had was great. Good: $5 craft beer Sweet potato fries Fish tacos Veggie burger Service Lighting and overall decorations Very reasonable prices Not sure what I was expecting when I went to Rockford but it definitely wasn't this. I would without a doubt eat here again. The outdoor dining area looks like it would be awesome in the summertime.

Lovely. 5 stars for me. Really good beer with traditional styles like a Hef and experiments like the vanilla Kolsch. Flights and beer overall are very reasonable. Plus, place is cool to hangout - very cool and industrial inside - but then dining by the docs outside. It was too cold to go outside when I was there but could see the possibility. I really enjoyed the black and blue Kolsch. A light and refreshing Kolsch infused with black and blueberries. Loved it. Food is also good. We started with the soft pretzels with cheese drip. Some of the best pretzels I've ever had. We then tried the poutine but I dressed it up with avocado, duck bacon, and topped it with a fried egg. Very good. We also had the Mediterranean chk and it was so tasty. Home run. Would come back just for that. Finally, my son had the kids burger medium rare and he enjoyed thoroughly. Great beer, ambiance, and food. A must try in these parts.

Loved Rockford Brewing Company! We were in briefly for appetizers and beers before a wedding. You have the option to get a smaller, 10oz beer which i love.. that way you can try more without getting too buzzed. I had the IPA and Pale Ale.. both great. Friends of ours are fans of the Hefeweizen. You can also get wine. We ordered 3 appetizers to share between 4 people. SO MUCH FOOD. It's always hard to tell because some places are skimpy on their portions. Not this place. The nachos are huge and delicious. We could've just shared those and been fine. If i remember right the nachos are topped with pulled pork AND chorizo... i mean come on.. so good. We also had the buffalo chicken dip and an order of the soft pretzels with their beer cheese. Everything was wonderful, including the service. The building is huge, they also have an event space and a sports bar & game room on the first floor. You can go to the sports bar and sit on the patio overlooking the river. Definitely on my bucket list if i make it back. Keep doing what you do, Rockford Brewing!

This is our second time here. First time was great! This time not so good. The hostess Lia was not very welcoming. We wanted to sit outside for lunch. Trying to get information from her was difficult. Almost like we were bothering her. We did stay for lunch. Our server #2003 Franchesca was great! Our food and beer was also good!

Excellent first impression! Great, lively atmosphere, and the food was like the fast lane to flavor town!!! Not your boring cheese sticks, potato skins and poppers menu! It had a large variety with good portions. The Poutine was heavenly! I had seared tuna on my spring salad, and it was perfectly balanced with the cherry balsamic vinegrette. I had to call my daughter away from the light when she tasted her Cajun shrimp Mac and cheese. I tried it, an definitely heavenly!!! The shrimp are huge with a little zip...perfect. I could taste a mild hint of beer in the cheese sauce and the consistency wasn't gloppy and thick....creamy and smooth like a fondue sauce. The kids finished with the pie in a pint. Genius! More like a pie sundae. Heaven met us yet again! Our waiter was helpful and friendly, as were the runners. It's our new favorite Rockford restaurant for sure!!! Can't wait to go back and try the fish tacos and pulled pork nachos!!!! Or the cheese soup and bacon blue burger!!! Or the steak salad and cheddar cheese curds!!! Or the chicken wings that look huge! Or the....you get my drift!! YUMO!!'

We came here on a Sunday evening before a show at the Coronado across the river. We made a reservation because I wanted to be sure we'd have enough time to eat before the show, but I probably wouldn't have needed it - although it was moderately busy. The building appears to be apartments or lofts or something -- looks sort of Milwaukee industrial chic. Exposed pipes, wood, chalkboards, you know the drill. It was a bit drafty in the very cold weather, though. They have a number of house-brewed beers to choose from, and if we'd had all evening I might have gotten a flight. But I stuck with the Apple Ale, which was a refreshing and delightful blend of cider and beer. We started with nachos as an appetizer; my husband got the club sandwich and I had the Phuket flatbread. The menu has some interesting stuff on it, but some of it went a step too far, I think -- like, he ordered his club without the fried egg that apparently came on it, and I'm still trying to figure out HOW you would put a fried egg on a sandwich that comes cut into four and laid on its side. The nachos were good but a bit soggy. My flatbread had a ton of peanut sauce on it. It was tasty though, the chicken was well-cooked. Could have used some cilantro on top. Service was decent. The waitress disappeared a few times, including right after dropping off the check, but eventually resurfaced. She did a good job of refilling water and asking how we were doing, in general. I'm not really up on the Rockford dining scene; I was told this was the "second best food in downtown," by a Rockford resident, so take that was you will. But the beer was good and if I had reason to be in the area I'd come back for some beer and noshes, for sure.

One of my new favorite spots in Rockford! The beers that I've tried here have all been delicious. I'm a particular fan of the saison & the hefeweizen. Both are on the lighter and sweeter side, without being overly sweetened up. Perfect for summer! I came here on Sunday night hoping to try the Black & Blue X-Brew, but they were sold out. I was told that the brewers aren't going to make another batch but that a new round of summer seasonals are on the horizon. Hoping to check some of those out too! Service was pretty good overall, though our server did forget about the Sunday wing special and charged us full price. He quickly adjusted the bill to reflect the 60cent wing special and apologized. He was attentive with our service throughout the evening, took my dad's "dad" jokes in stride, and immediately put in an order for fresh fries when we let him know that ours arrived at the table pretty lukewarm. The food was above average for the Rockford area. The wing special was a good deal - 6 wings for 60cents each and they were all big, more meaty drumsticks. We tried the parmesan garlic and the porter BBQ and preferred the parm garlic. It had more of a "fried" chicken feel with a good dusting of garlic and fresh parmesan. I had the chicken sandwich, which came on a light bun, with two stalks of asparagus, gouda, and homemade pesto. It was light, springy, and delicious. The homemade pesto added a nice flavor to the sandwich. I would order it again! We also shared the pretzel stick appetizer. It came with 3 big pretzel sticks that were piping hot, salty and fresh. The cheese sauce needs some work though - the cheddar flavor is very mild and it was a little too congealed rather than saucy for my liking. Looking forward to going back and trying more of their craft brews & some of the appetizers we didn't have room for! Dinner on the Docks also looks like it will be a fun time - food, beer, and music on the river. What's not to like?

My boyfriend and I loved it! The building is awesome with seating right on the Rock River (indoors is super cool too). We only tried the hefeweizen which we both liked. I had the turkey club, he had the black bean burger but with a meat patty, and we split six buffalo wings. Plus we both had the sweet potato fries as our side. All so good! And very reasonable portions for the price! We would absolutely go back!

An incredible brewery with an unbelievable amount of brews ready for your enjoyment. The food is a great normalcy of brewery food with a few exciting options but the beer selection is out of this world. The best brewery in southern (maybe all of) Wisconsin and Illinois.

There were six of us who were all from out-of-town and we had a few beer drinkers amongst us. Everyone enjoyed the beer they selected. As for myself, I prefer wine, so my review is about our waitress and the food. Melissa was a breath of fresh air! Greeted us with enthusiasm and a smile on her face and returned to our table several times to see if there was anything we needed. I ordered the Shrimp Salad which was a featured special that evening. It was excellent. Other other dishes were enjoyed by the others. Was a nice evening to stroll along the river after dinner.

Me and my buddy came here to grab a Friday night beer. We sat outside where you can get beer and appetizers. They have an amazing selection of their own craft beers as well as a rotating selection of "guest" beers from other brands and breweries. My favorites were the Irish Stout (better than Guinness, no joke!) and the West Coast IPA. For food, we tried the cheese curds. They came in a huge basket and were deep fried perfectly. They also had a very flavorful Sriracha aioli dipping sauce that set them off perfectly. We also went with some wings. I got them with stout bbq sauce. I'm very picky when it comes to chicken wings, and these made the cut in my book! Not too much breading, big and plump, and not stingy with the sauce! Our waitress was also knowledgeable and friendly and made the night that much better. I will definitely be back, and soon!

Better food than beer in my opinion. The building is unbelievable, they just opened Dockside downstairs. This has unbelievable potential to be the absolute best of Rockford. River, local craft brews, live music on the dock, oh yeah their fish tacos are as good as they get. Go there now.

I have eaten here three times, and every time the food was great! The wait was a little long, but that is understandable considering the place is ALWAYS packed. The beers are great. I recommend getting a flight so you can choose the one you like the best. I am fan of wheat beers and theirs did not disappoint.

Def worth going. Location and view was awesome. Food was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the beer selection but it wasn't terrible either. If you're in town, I'd say it's worth a trip.

HORRIBLE customer service! I ordered the fish tacos to go and when I got home and opened the box the fish smelled awful! I thought maybe I'd try it just to be sure. We started to feel sick after a couple bites! I called the restaurant to give them a heads up that I was not satisfied with the product. As a matter of fact, my mom had ordered that dish in the past so she knew it wasn't right! Upon arrival, the manager, Johnny, was very confrontational and rude! He said he didn't smell they were bad and that he was not going to give me a refund! We hadn't even eaten a whole taco so obviously we weren't trying to get over! We went back and forth for about five minutes before he agreed to a refund. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism from a manager of a restaurant! My mom had a bad experience with a waitress on her first visit as well! Needless to say we will NEVER be back!

We recently discovered this establishment when we were looking for a place to go on a Thursday Night. We heard about the music on the river and wanted to check it out. As far at the festivities it is fun with a band and everyone sitting near the docks. It would be ideal if you have a boat. The line for the food is relatively long as is the line for booze, but the prices are reasonable. We actually opted to go inside and sit at the bar until a table was available. The bartenders were extremely friendly and attentive, despite the full house. As far as the beer selection, it was outstanding. A huge variety of their own brews that were excellent. The price was also very reasonable. We tried the fried cheese curds and the snack mix. For a minimal price, we got a bucket of curds, enough for at least 4 people. The snack mix was decent too. As for a main course we got the veg burger and a salad, both were excellent and very filling. We will be back soon and look forward to trying other beers and options that are on the menu.

The food was really good and this place has a nice atmosphere. We were there for a business lunch so no one had a chance to sample the beers. We were there in January but it looked like this place would be extra fun in any season besides winter :)

My husband and I stopped in here when we visited Rockford for the first time yesterday. We were impressed with our experience. We tried 3 different beers: Apple Ale, Chocolate Porter, and the Rye IPA. They were all very good, and the Apple Ale was especially unique. It wasn't a cider, but still very light and refreshing with not as sweet apple flavor. We also ordered the beer cheese chips with beer cheese fondue dipping sauce as a starter. Do yourself a favor -- if you go here, order these. It's a must. I've never had anything so incredible in my life. They had so much flavor with a hint of spice and the beer cheese sauce was to die for. For lunch, I ordered 1/2 turkey club and a cup of beer cheese soup (See the trend here? Beer and cheese. I forgot to mention, we were visiting from Wisconsin). The 1/2 sandwich was so big that I actually had to take 1/2 of that home! And the beer cheese soup was sooo good. The crunchiness of the croutons on top was an added bonus. My husband ordered a burger and got duck bacon on it. He was impressed. He said that duck bacon is his new favorite thing. Anyhow, if you're in/near Rockford for any reason and you want a place with good food, a pretty decent beer selection, and you're not on a diet, you must go here. The building was awesome as well. Old and tastefully decorated. Really comfortable atmosphere. The only bad thing is that it's an hour and a half away from where we live!

Great atmosphere - warm, inviting, and an amazing renovation to a beautiful building near downtown Rockford. Staff was pleasant and friendly, with great feedback on beer choices. Knowledgeable staff in a brew house is so invaluable, and quick with a joke. Since I stopped in late on Christmas Eve, I only looked at the menu but didn't want to order since the kitchen was closing. The food looked AMAZING!! I can't wait to come back and try the poutine - yum!! Kudos Rockford Brewing Company, you've made a great thing! I hope it stays awesome for years to come.

While I do like their beer, and their bar is fine, I was less than overwhelmed by the food. While visually appealing, I found my choices to be bland. The beer cheese used with their pretzel sticks was runny. And the same cheese used with their nachos left the chips very soggy and added no flavor. I also had the margherita flatbread pizza and between thick cut mozzarella and equally thick cut roma tomatoes, it was again tasteless and soggy and there was no hint of browning on the cheese. Next time I will happily go for the beer and avoid the food.

Sunday / August. 2, 2015 * I had called up to the establishment to ask them if they were a kid friendly in which they are .... I brought my three sons with me for a nice Sunday dinner experience and this happens (This place comes with great ratings for their chef & food so we decided to venture over .... ) ! 1.) Poorly prepared full rack of ribs extremely under cooked and tough 2.) Wings ( 2 dozen to be exact ) not the best quality chicken but the sauces helped 3.) Ranch dressing is suppose to drive to finger foods not run off all over the table and your clothes ( very watered down to the point not worth trying to use it ) 4.) Burgers mediocre at best for a cheaper frozen patty ( at 10.00-12.00 burger should be fresh not out of a freezer as fast food chains are ) ******* The chef that you hear about so much must not been in house on this day. The wait staff understood the issues and didn't seem surprised . Wait staff went on to let me know of people complaining about the exact issues and concerns and which I had.....** wait staff was excellent and very apologetic** Very unhappy customer that brought his family out on a Sunday dinner excursion ***

Come for the beer, stay for the food, and staff. Repeat after me POUTINE. Some sort of crazy stoner food concoction. Wow is it good. A bed of french fries, w cheese curds, brazed pork belly, slathered in fresh bacon gravy, w/ fresh herbs and spices. One of the herbs taste profiled is thyme, also one of my favs. I've tasted the pork shank. Brained in hard cider. Comes w fresh Kale, and parsnips gratin. The meat is very sweet, you really taste the apple cider. The kale is just a touch bitter. The two play together very, very well. The chef that created this should be kissed by every pretty girl in the place. Its that good. WOW. This place is very popular right now. So if you show up 7:PM you might have to wait a couple minutes. Wait, its worth it. Its a brew house. Order up a flight of beers, time will pass at the speed of light. My fav beer so far is west coast IPA

What a pretty cool space! Looks like you can hold a wedding here and there's a gorgeous river and dock too. Love the industrial brick and solid wood look of this brewery. Make your own flights for about $2 for a 5oz pour or for an extra dollar or two you can get a full glass. There's a medium size selection of about 12 different brews and mostly are malty and not too hoppy varients. Poutine goes well with all the beers. It's so good, we got two orders - cheese curds, fries, pork belly and gravy is perfect with beer drinking. Wings were quite nice as well. If you really like spicy, the habernero wings burns your mouth with a nice buttery flavor. Sweet stout bbq was very tasty too. The service was fantastic and came in with good humor and in proper times. Supposedly, the bartender messed up the pours and accidentally made 2 of the same flights, didn't get charged and she just brought those in telling us what happened. That's a mistake that we can all enjoy!

Really good beer, and food. Sometimes a little too crowded but that is always fun. Thursday they have live music and food and beer outside by the lake.

Stopped in here on my way to and from a ski trip in Galena. Food was great, bartenders were friendly, beer was delicious. Really happy we made the pit stop. The ski trip has become a yearly commitment, Rockford Brewing Company will be a yearly pit stop! This place looks like it'd be really cool in the summer; might need to make a special trip.

Recently visited RBC for lunch...LOVED it! The atmosphere, food, location, service and beers were exceptional! Looking forward to going back next time we are in the area. We ordered the flight of beer to taste test and the flights are a generous size. Great place!

Great beer selections and a decent selection of food -- I had a BLT and my wife had a gluten-free flatbread pizza. I do wish they had more gluten-free drink options -- one cider or GF beer on top would be awesome.

Who needs to go to Wisconsin when RBC has the best cheese curds in the tri-state area?! I've never been disappointed with any of my choices here. Love this place!

So. Good. Upscale bar food in a smaller, industrial, casual place. Its right on the river and during the summer Dinner on the Docks is right outside. Such a fun way to spend a Friday after a long week of work! If you have a bigger group its advised that you call ahead to avoid long wait times. Its not very big so large groups need to give advanced notice, especially on the weekends. Servers are knowledable and attentive...even when its crammed! Beer is great and the food....UGH! THE FOOD! Delicious! RBC is an awesome spot for lunch or dinner!

Two strikes and you're out! First time I went there for Friday fish fry. The fish was ok, but the rice sides were stone cold. More than one of us at the had cold food. The second time, we had a party. We told them at least 15 people. They set up a table for us. But when more people showed up, they started giving us grief. And we were all eating and drinking, not just taking up space. They stood there with their arms folded, staring at us. No one was being rowdy. We were just talking. Then one table they actually started clearing off before the people were done and let them know they should leave. If they didn't want us there, they should have moved us to a different place, not just be rude about it.
