This was my first time using a Panera drive through and my experience was great. Luckily, it wasn't busy. We made it through as quickly as we would have in the restaurant, maybe even faster. The food was ready for us but then again we didn't order anything that was warm or toasted so that may take more time. I've been inside this location during lunch time and during the week, it is a nightmare. You are lucky if you find a spot. Id reccomend waiting for an off time and taking your business in the drive through.

OK...forgiving the idea that I went to Panera while I'm doing a low carb thing (only nearby option for a decent cup of coffee while my car is serviced)...planned to just caffeinate but then I see "Ham and Swiss Soufflé" and I think, "eggs, cheese, ham...can't go wrong, I'll just forgo the bread side that is typically offered." Then, I was handed a bread-encased gooey egg/cheese item. I clarified, "oh, I wanted the soufflé not an egg croissant," only to be informed that was their version of a soufflé. Lemonade from lemons...I'll burn all my carbs for the week and just try it. Flavor was good but the gummy texture was a bit off-putting...however, the fruit cup was excellent so that helped. Oh, and I did get my fill of coffee, so all was forgiven. Side note, their salad and soup selections never disappoint and, when I eat bread, their sandwiches are excellent as well.

Let's just say Panera is Panera anywhere you go! I love it... This location is very spacious and busy. I ordered online for pick up. Normally someone greets you etc almost at every Panera. Didn't see that here... Also when I asked for my order one of the managers walked with me to the area. She asked for my name and last name and I told her and she just pointed at a bag and walked away. Everything was great food wise! Unfortunately, their customer service wasn't there.

We placed an order online for a few people at work and the time on the receipt said to pick it up at 1:45. They didn't finish our order until 2:15 and forgot one order. We called to let them know about it, and they said they would give us a free pastry for each person to make up for the mistake and time they wasted. So the girl whose lunch was missing went to pick up the order, and they gave her one cookie. They were not friendly and the manager Craig did nothing to correct their errors. My food was also subpar and cold.

Stopped in here to get lunch: French onion and tomato soups with Chicken Caesar Salad - very good. The music was a bit loud and the air conditioning was set too low - it was freezing in there! No problems with the WiFi. The restaurant and bathrooms both could have used a thorough cleaning. Service: friendly and smiling

Went to Panera Bread on 5/16/2012. It was my first time going there. I would have to say that the inside was nice, but it was pretty expensive. Overall its a good place to go to once in a while.

Good location with a drive through which is kind of cool. The location is close to state street and the service is generally good. Compared to other Panera's they seem to have a good selection of bakery items which often times other locations seem to run out of. The restaurant is a medium size and is generally kind of loud if you are trying to have a meeting, but there is plenty of table space for the number of people there.

Worst tasting food we have ever ordered as a family. After waiting forever for our food. Most of our hot food was cold, yuck! The only thing good was my daughters soup she said. After barely nibbling we left everything sitting there on the table as we literally got up & Walked out. What a disappointment & a waste of good money, that will definitely be spent elsewhere in the future.

I have very mixed reviews for here. They were extremely busy for a Friday around 2. I was pleasantly surprised tho at how fast they got everyone through the line. They didn't seem overwhelmed. There isn't a huge seating selection and is very tight. For as busy of an area with this location this is something that should be addressed. Because you have plenty of people trying to find a seat but can't bc they are none or you have people just sitting there dine eating and just talking. Anyway. ......food didn't take to long either maybe about 5 min which is acceptable for how busy they were. This is where I was thrown off. I ordered salad and soup, daughter had mac and cheese of course. Mind you I have been to many panera and not just here to rockford. When I got back to table and seated I realized that they didn't prepare my salad like usual it was thrown together and they didn't have the dressing already on the salad and mixed in. It was in a cup on top of the salad. I've never seen them do this before . Maybe it's because they were so busy I dunno but I looked around at others that had salads some had the same and others were already premixed. Not huge deal just odd to me. The bathrooms are lot to be desired they were dirty and needed some major repair. Food was still good though! Will I be back maybe just if I see it busy I will go elsewhere.

Healthiest fast place to eat in Rockford, but I keep coming back for the pastries and mochas. This place was a zoo last November. The line is much more reasonable now.

Prices are the same as all Paneras. Downside is they have way to few outlets for people with laptops and the internet seems to be spotty sometimes.

I love their food and their bread is fantastic, but the prices are way too high for what it is. I'd go more often if it wasn't so expensive for soup and sandwiches. The semi-snotty hipster atmosphere turns me off. I just want the good food but with better prices.

The jazz music is a little loud, and the air conditioning is on a little too much for my taste, but I love the free wifi for when I am in need of an internet fix. The food is good too. I am a fan of the creamy tomatoe soup and the veggie mediterranean sandwich. I could hardly wait to get here from Chicago, so I could get my Panera fix.
