With a wide selection of soup, salad, and of course noodle dishes, there is a choice for everyone. I had the pesto with grilled chicken and tried the beef stroganoff and it was fantastic! A fast food chain like ordering system but table service included. This hybrid of restaurants seems to be the newest trend in dining and I love it. You get what you need then you don't have to bother with the waitstaff unless you need something. If you're looking for a quick meal with a good variety tried Noodles!

I had a promo coupon for a free meal so decided to try it out. We ordered up front & the food came quickly. They offered fresh brewed tea sweetened & unsweetened in addition to the soda fountain which I liked. My dining partner thought his soup & sandwich were okay. I ordered the Indonesian bowl thinking it looked like it had the most vegetables since I don't eat meat or tofu. There were 4 pieces of broccoli & less than 10 carrot strips. It was pretty much all noodle & some sprouts on top. I thought this might be a good place to eat vegan/vegetarian but it's not bc they skimp so much on the veg. Glad I got my meal for free & only had to pay $2 for a drink. Neither of us thought we would likely return because we could make better versions of our meals at home.

Normally I get the penna rosa with Parmesan crusted chicken and feta. Which is always excellent. Tonight I decided to try something new. Tried the Thai curry soup and barbecue pork mac. The soup was warm and delicious. However, the barbecue pork Mac stole the show. It was mind blowing. The sweet tangy barbeque sauce with pork and creamy mac n cheese is awesome. If you get the chance to try Noodles and Company do it. I love this restaurant.

I'm stubborn. I really do attempt to try new things, but at Noodles, I'm a stickler. At every location, I get the penne rosa. This, like all the dishes, has the option of a meat/tofu, and upon ordering the chicken this time (I'm partial to the chicken or shrimp usually) they had parmigiana crusted or grilled (which I chose). I was pleasantly surprised to see the small or large option (perhaps this has always been, but I just realized it now), and ordered the small, which I was actually able to finish. They've got Coke product soft drinks, teas and bottles of juice and water at the counter. Another fun surprise: they also serve beer and wine! I'm never disappointed when I go with Noodles, and this trip was no exception. Minus a star for being a chain. I'm a hater.

My food was delicious and the service was great. The cashier was friendly and our food arrived promptly. Unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy my meal because it was so cold in the restaurant. We sat down at a booth for about 30 seconds before we decided that maybe we'd be more comfortable outside. So we went to a table outside, and it was warmer there even though it was extremely windy and my food got cold before i could finish. We went back in to refill drinks and it felt so cold that it stung my skin a little. I would give the food 5 stars. They use high quality ingredients and the flavors are different than most Rockford choices, but my overall experience was not the best. Next time I'll be sure to bring a sweater if the air conditioner is on! The portions are big for me...I can't eat the entire big bowl. There are also some sandwich options that are newer.

I love Noodles! While the first time I ever came to Noodles I got something simple and safe like the Penna Rosa. Then I tried the whole grain Tuscan linguine. And then I found the Japanese Pan Noodles, and I feel in love. These are my favorite noodles! They're yummy noodles served with broccoli, carrots, shiitake mushroom slices, bean sprouts, and I get mine with Tofu. The sauce they are cooked in is fairly spicy, so if you're not a big spice fan I would steer clear. The Tofu here is good also. I have gotten the side salads about two times and feel disappointed each time I get one because the amount of salad you get does not correlate to the price you pay. Not worth the price, I wouldn't waste the money. The Rice Krispy treats are huge and delicious if you're in the mood for a treat. The restaurant itself is very nice and they keep it very clean. During peak meal times this place is packed! It can be hard to find a table at these times, but during the off hours the place is fairly quiet. The food comes out fairly quick too, depending on the number of people you are eating with and how busy they are at that time.

For a chain, I'm impressed with the food. Everything I've had has been very good, and the service has been friendly. Another review mentioned that the restaurant always seems cold, which I agree with. I just wear a sweater when I go there now.

Noodle & Company is a keeper! I usually don't say it on a lot of national-chain restaurants because of my pickiness on food as a Chicagoan, but every time I come in, everything is great and the bathrooms are clean and stocked (that's important to me). The noodles taste good and were made fresh. I try to order different items every time I come in, yet I always end up ordering in between Wisconsin Mac and Cheese and pad Thai. I got out my comfort zone and tried the pesto this time. It will be working into my rotation or choices from now on.

One of the new wave of restaurants in between a sit-down and fast food, Noodles and Company is my favorite. Always fresh, delicious and healthy, this is the place to go if you are in a hurry but want something better than fast food. Much, much better.

Pleasantly surprised! So far everything I tried was great. I thought noodles were boring. I am happy to say this place proved me wrong. Great place for lunch or a quick dinner.

Great food. Excellent prices. Had the macaroni and cheese with meat balls and a side of garlic butter bread sticks. AMAZING!

Decided to stop here for a late lunch, what a disappointment. I ordered the tomato basil soup. It was a bowl of spaghetti sauce. The menu is limited, and really odd. Thai noodles, mac & cheese, Italian, I'm not sure how they can be good at anyone one dish. The restaurant is dirty. The coke machine is cool, provides a variety of additional flavors to your favorite beverage. Unfortunately that machine was filthy. Don't eat here.

I've eaten here a couple of times and have different dishes each time. They have some very good food. Today I just had what they called their "Grown up" Mac and Cheese. It's a version of their orriginal Mac and Cheese that had other ingredients in it. I had the Southwest Chili variety because, honestly, I love Chili Mac. It was good. They labeled it as spicy, but I didn't think it had much of a kick at all. I think they had too much pasta for the amount of sauce and other ingredients. I ended up adding some of the hot sauce at the table to it to give it a kick and some more flavor. The portion size on the regular bowl is more than enough for me, and my wife has to take half of it home. For the price difference in the sizes, you are better off getting the large bowl and taking the leftovers. The service is generally pretty good. The place is as clean as you can expect from a fancier fast food restaurant...

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
