Awesome locally owned restaurant. Service is good. Wait staff is polite. Love that they serve potato and salad with there meal. Prices are reasonable. Great for families. Awesome lake and patio in the back. Bar is in the lower level. We like the fried chicken and grilled salmon.

There's only one reason to come here.. The lake view. I ordered the medallions for $25 and was served a cold plate of meat and overcooked veggies. And the clam chowder is better off being called potato soup. Go to Kelly's for a real steak and so much cheaper.

My steak was good. The temp was correct. The wine I had was also good. That the positive. With the exception of my husband's wings (flavor was ok, but a "pound" of wings was a total of 5 small wings) the rest of the mess was mainly the fault of our server. From the onset, it was a bad. Starting with the beverage- she was nowhere to be found when I needed sugar & milk for my tea. My salad was delivered, and I was left to fend for myself - our table was still w/o napkins or silverware. After waiting for awhile, we finally asked the hostess. She had 3 tables, including ours. I don't get it. Maybe she was having an off night, but a server her age should have her shit down. As far as value, the steak only included a small salad and baked potato. I know it's the Midwest, but, meat and taters only with no side veg with the entrée? In the end, the service was unbelievably slow and just a big fat drag. Unfortunately, this is kinda par for the course here. Go somewhere else.

Right next door to the fairfield inn.. Super convenient location and friendly staff. The food is nothing to write home about but its solid and they got warsteiner on tap (yesss!!) Inside set up is kind of weird and doesn't really have much of an ambiance, but overall a great place to grab a quick bite and a beer when you're staying at the fairfield inn in Quincy.

I really enjoyed my lunch at Lakeview. It was a beautiful spring day so we sat out on a lovely patio just a few yards away from a large pond with ducks. We split an app of grilled stuffed mushrooms....YUM! They were stuffed with garlic, bread crumbs, provel cheese and wrapped in bacon. For lunch I ordered a romaine salad topped with steak and grilled portabella mushrooms. Romaine is my favorite lettuce and although it is quite common, it is common to find icky romaine...brown edges and obviously not fresh and crisp. This romaine was perfect. Seriously perfect. The steak was perfectly cooked as were the grilled marinated mushrooms. The prices were reasonable and the place is comfortable with friendly efficient servers.

The outdoor patio overlooking the lake is great fun on summer evenings. The food is average. It is a little expensive for what you get. Beer prices are very high compared to other places in town.

The food is ok. Service is good, but the food is extremely slow. Only go there if you have lots of extra time. An hour lunch won't happen. I've had a problem with my food before and didn't eat it, and they did not comp the meal. The atmosphere is nice, and the patio is awesome in the summer. All in all, everything is expensive.

The food is okay for Quincy, menu is decent size, their attempt at southwestern/mexican is pretty superficial. My major complaint with our meal here was our waitress. She refused to come around to my side of the table to clear dishes, refill drinks, etc. I had to hand her my glass, my plates, etc all throughout the meal. There was nothing in the way, she was just being lazy. I'm not working there! Salmon on new year's eve was under-cooked.

Food: 3 stars Service: 5 stars (very attentive and friendly) Ambience: 4 stars (ask for a water view) Overall 3.5 ( I didn't have that choice so I chose 3 stars). Prices: 4 stars. $15.99 for my meal was a decent price. I was on a business trip, and ate solo. My dinner was grilled tuna, grilled vegetables, and house salad. Bread with garlic olive oil for dipping was served as well. Tuna was good but not special. Grilled veggies were marinated in some type of sauce that seemed too strong. I would have preferred simply grilled and no marinade. Salad was excellent (no iceberg lettuce-Yeah!). Would maybe go again, but may choose something else next time.

Love sitting outside on the patio! Just went there for our anniversary dinner. I had the tuna and my husband had the Griffo grilled shrimp along with the house salad and dressing and their crispy grilled veggies! Excellent! The Warsteiner beer is a favorite too!

The ambience here is very nice and the service is great, but I would describe the food as mediocre. The meals were reasonably priced, but the dessert we had was not ($3.99 for a small piece of apple pie). We were given a much smaller piece of apple pie than what was shown to us on the dessert tray. Additionally, it was warmed in the microwave and it would have been nice to have some vanilla ice cream with it. There seemed to be a lot of selection on the menu, though, and my husband and I plan on returning at least one time more.

Lakeview has good reasonably priced food, in a comfortable and casual atmosphere. In Quincy it is considered a nicer restaurant, it is nice but you can still wear jeans and fit right in. You can take advantage of the vista that gave the restaurant its name by sitting by the big picture windows or enjoying the back patio in the summer. Truth be told the "lake" is just a pond, but its nice.
