Great awe-tentic Mexican! The guacamole was made to order, the salsa was fresh, chips were still warm. Tacos: Carne asada(steak), a little dry, but good flavor Al pastor(pork), cooked & cut off a spit, tender, flavorful, little grisly Lengua(beef tongue), generous portion, well seasoned, had a little chew to it, I prefer it that way... Chicarron y tripas(pork belly & stomach), awesome favorite dish of the night. Crazy flavor, way tender, hit it with the salsa verde!! Chorizo sopes & carne asada sopes. Again, steak was tough, but the chorizo I think was homemade ,rocked. Rice & beans, good & great... Homemade drinks, horchata, melon water, and...something else (missed the name, ingredients weren't familiar). Horchata needed more sugar, melon water rocked!!! Thing thing.... Dunno... Clean! (for what it is, rustic authentic Mexican in a crappy strip mall) Friendly!!! Awesome owner and staff ,super friendly & welcoming! Small, 4 four-tops, 4 two-tops give or take! Will return again and again! And I know I misspelled words in this review...blame it on the beers... :)
There are plenty of authentic Mexican restaurants in the northwest suburbs area, but Los posadas is a diamond in the rough. A small and not incredibly welcoming and warm place located in a not so hot mini strip mall which includes a subway and a convenient store, Los posadas is more authentic than any other. And they deliver too! How great is that! My order of choice is the bean tostadas. Never fail. Not so great for eat in but feat for carry out and deliver!
Great food! Friendly people! My husband and I recently moved to the area and searched online for a good Mexican restaurant. Based on the reviews and location we decided to check this place out. Their tacos are amazing! They taste as good as the street tacos in Mexico. The restaurant is small and not very noticeable in the plaza it's located in and the decor isn't very attractive but the food is definitely worth it. The restaurant appears to be a family run restaurant and they are very friendly. Looks like we found our new taco spot!

Best chicken tenders!!!!!! Tuesday nights for trivia ...... I got the chicken tenders and a plate of beef nachos. The beef nachos came and there was plenty of good ingredients guacamole and salsa really crispy chips. But the chicken tenders were the show, very crispy large tenders with tasty coating probably panko bread crumbs. The chicken tenders are a must order they come with barbecue sauce and I believe ranch sauce and 1 other sauce I can't remember this bar/ restaurant has great entertainment from trivia to live music
Place sucks - although I got a blowjob by a waitress in the bathroom. That was a BONE-US. Lots of mooks and smelly eurotrash. DJ's suck ass. They really suck ass Stay away goto NEllies
How much fun is it to tell your friends to meet them at "HOME"? Pretty sure I said that joke like wayyy to many times. Anyways, my first time at HOME (haha), it was a Blackhawks night and also someone's bar mitzvah? It was a little weird to have a bunch of tweens come through the doors. So first let me say the good things: the bartenders were fast and offered good deals throughout the night like $3 Coors Light and either $3 or $5 fireball shots. Someone took my half full beer away and the bartender gave me a new one with no questions. The not so good: the service overall was terrible. We had a table of 12-15 people and I understand it's a crazy night and we were a huge party, but I've never had so many orders get messed up before. Someone in my party ordered food they never received, food orders were mixed up, the wait for the food was so long and some people in the party who ordered a lot later received their orders sooner.. I am as understanding as I can be, I understand that being understaffed or just dealing with a huge group of people can get stressful or confusing, but unfortunately that was my experience there. If I were to come back I think it'd just be for drinks.
