Terrible! Went there with 4 people and everything and I do mean everything is out of a box and fried. Nothing is homemade. I looked around at other tables and it was all the same. Green beans as a side veg is fine but when you just dump them out of a can and serve them that is ridiculous. No reason on earth to go here. The chicken pot pie says it comes with a southern style biscuit. No it doesn't. It came with a yeast roll that came directly from Sam's Club. I can't believe I am saying this but, McDonald's is better.

Chose Delong's for lunch on a beautiful Fall day. Interior table space on the first floor was limited so we sat outside. The outdoor seating was nice with a great view of the gorgeous vintage building in the center of the town square. We both ordered the Dutch Crutch sandwich and fries as the description seemed to really make this item stand out. The food arrived quickly but I was quickly disappointed. What arrived was 1/2 of a sandwich for each of us. The sandwich was literally cut in half and put on two plates. Beyond the disappointing size of the sandwich my disappointment was not finished. The roast beef was dry and tough and the mushrooms were canned - literally nasty canned mushrooms!! The sandwich was a total disappointment. On the bright side the service was friendly and prompt, the fries were tasty and the homemade ranch dressing was good. Not sure if I would go back.

Not sure why the low rating. Service was friendly, fast and spot on. Patio seating is top shelf. The waitress's are super fun and cute. I had the Butter and Garlic steak. So tasty. Bowel movement be damned. I would recommend this joint to anyone in town.

Yeah I hate to crap on small businesses but this place was pretty bad. My experienced started off on the wrong foot. The first thing as I sit down I was handed a napkin/silverware set that had jelly caked on it. The setup is cute but the building was absolutely freezing. Would it kill someone to burn a little heat on? I had to wear my jacket throughout the whole meal. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and it was barely 2oz of chicken on a stale hamburger bun. Definitely not worth the $6.29 price. I hate to say but McDonald's has better (tastier) chicken sandwiches. My mom ordered a medium hamburger and it came out charbroiled on one side and medium rare on the other. The restaurant and staff are friendly enough. But the food definitely needs a lot of work. Shame because this place really has a lot of potential.

Where do I begin ? Maybe waiting over an hour before anyone even came near our table. That would be a good place to start. The teenage girl staff that were hoping our large group would just leave rather than serve us. They waited and waited but we outlasted them. Finally an hour and a half passed and we were able to place an order. I was expecting just this amazing dinner with the length of time we had to wait. I just knew it would be all worth it in the end. My 5$ Bloody Mary arrived in something a little bigger than a shot glass. I did make sure to say Bloody Mary right ? I can't taste any alcohol. Is this cold tomato soup? It can only get better. Here comes our starter. Freezer burnt frozen processed mushrooms. Unreal. This could have been dished out in 2 minutes. All hope is lost and they did not disappoint . Yes, the fish and chips is the van de Kamps frozen crap. Everyone else's was the same. Their steak wasn't a steak but they knew how to charge as if it was. This is probably the worst restaurant I was ever in and the worst dining experience ever. It is really hard to get this bad. At least I now know it can not get worse. I cannot give this any stars . The only thing I could say nice about this place is their toilet was pretty clean. Avoid this at all costs. Nothing but processed crap food dropped in the deep fryer. McDonalds is a much better option and I can't stand that place. You will leave here thinking " did I do something to these people " ? They made me give it a star.

I like this place but it isn't in my top 15 choices in town. The wait is really long every single time. The last time I was there it took over ten minutes just to place a drink order after sitting... And there were only 3 other tables occupied at the time. However, when you get your food, it's really good.

Again, SLOW SLOW SLOW!!! Tried again earlier this summer on a Saturday. BIG mistake. Arrived around 11:45. Got put drink orders in then waited, I'm not kidding here, for FIFTY minutes to order our food!! There was a large group of biker tourists there and I guess the kitchen just couldn't handle it. Sat outside because it was nice outside and would have left much sooner but was never once acknowledged by the waitress do we could at least pay for the drinks and leave. I have them the benefit of the doubt and still waited another 30 minutes for our food. NEVER EVER EVER go here if you're on a hurry!! The extremely small kitchen can't handle a crowd of any kind. Poor poor kitchen management!! That being said once we got our burgers they were huge and yummy!

Pretty disappointed actually. While the food was decent enough, the portions were very small for the price. $5 for a small cup of what they call chicken pot pie with a small biscuit and another $5 for fried pickle spears

We ate here while stopping in town to visit some of the local museums. It was busy around lunch time on a Saturday and we enjoyed the way they had nicely restored the old shop's interior. It had a hearty Midwestern menu. The burger I had was average, both of my parents really enjoyed the chicken pot pie (served as a stew). The service was friendly and attentive, mom enjoyed her sundae for dessert. The lunch bill came to about $30 for three adults.

Ate here on Monday night. Great service. Great variety. Reasonable pricing. Clean and neat. I had the Butter & Garlic Rib Eye. I was impressed. Not a thick steak, mine you.... but a decent "bar" steak... properly marbled and prepared right on the mark. Recommended!

I have been to this restaurant several times while in the area for work, the food has always been good and the prices are pretty reasonable. It has a nice atmosphere but service does tend to be very slow at times especially if you are trying to fit this into a half hour lunch.
