This was our favorite pizza since moving to plainfield. So much so we'd drive 20 min to pick it up. However the customer service and management at the south location is quite disappointing!! After ordering a pizza and it being wrong, I called to inform the manager. The mistake was not a big deal but the response I received will preventing me from EVER bringing his location business! Customer service 101: even the most unreasonable customer is right; never insinuate that they are lying! Really it's a $25 pizza, mistakes happen not a big deal...but to treat a loyal customer that has never complained, and was being polite the way he treated me was uncalled for. From now on vita bella north only for our family!!

This place has me torn. Sometimes it's on point while other times it's kind of a disappointment. Example 1.) Margaritta Pizza, pretty much came with 0 basil, let alone "fresh basil as advertised." The oil was also pretty old...Possibly a rookie pizza maker mistake as I don't think this is a "common' pizza made here... So avoid the Marg, do get a calzone! They come with the sauce on the outside so keep that as a FYI, if you want the sauce inside you must request it that way. Delivery time has always been prompt and when you order a pick up, the pizzas are ready in the time frame they promised generally. I wish this place would get a bit more consistent but if you live in South Plainfield this is a A-OK pizza place to check out.

Horrible customer service. Can NOT LISTEN and READ our order and when we call to let them know, we just received a sorry we can not help you. NOW we're stuck with this order. This had happened twice. Will NOT be using their service's in the future !!!!!!!

Love the breadsticks. Pizza is ok. I know pizza is supposed to be greasy but this one is way too greasy. The sauce has good flavor.

A year ago we would have given this pizza a 5 Star review, however, they have added so much spice to their sausage we no longer buy Vita Bella pizza. Maybe they should consider giving the customer a choice of spicy or mild sausage on their pizza.

I really REALLY like the white pizza here. I would eat it more often, but it's $20 for a large. I am outside of their advertising area, since I never get any coupons in my local Valupack mailer. They need to start up an email club so they can alert customers of promos and send out coupons.

We have been living in the area for about 10 years now and have tried many of the local pizza places. When we want consistent quality, flavor, and service, we always will turn to Vita Bella. For pickup or delivery, our orders are always within the time they say. Pickup is usually ready in about 20 minutes, and delivery in about 30-40 minutes. On a rare occasion, they may tell you delivery will be longer but it does not happen often. We tend to stick with specific items and most of the time have ordered a double dough pizza. The sauce has a good combination of sweet and spice and the ingredients are all fresh. We have also ordered pasta and appetizers many times with similar results. There prices are on par with the local competition and they offer regular coupons in local papers and with every order. They also allow you to save box tabs and receive a 50% off once you have 12 of them. So if you want a good pizza at a fair price, you can't go wrong with Vita Bella.

Vita Bella has many more offerings than your traditional carry out. But the pizza is just OK. We tried them a few times. I love that they offer Ricotta cheese as a topping and the many styles of crust. They do a good and huge calzone and have several options for pasta which about what you'd expect for carry out pasta. Overall this is just a middle of the road pizza place but is too expensive for me to not go to Giordano's.

Way overpriced for what you get. Food is ok. Quality of food has diminished over the years.

We ordered catering, came right on time, set up the food in professional manner and food was excellent.

Posted a review about Fat Rickys which reminded me about this place. The food is halfway decent but there customer service is horseshi-!! Their arrogant little manager who is either italian or mexican, I cant remember has been rash and terse with me on several occasions. In this day and age customer service should be numero uno! I always add at least 20 min to whatever pickup time they quote since they are never accurate. I usually wait further upon arrival as well. Never get im sorry or offer of anything worthy. Hey my time is worth money 2. Skip this place unless you got time to burn or want to feel like your at Ed Debevics for pizza. Overpriced!!

Do not eat in this disgusting place. We order pasta this past week and what a horrible surprise, we have found a big booger in the pasta sauce. We examined it for about an hour and we came to that conclusion, for texture, shape and the greenish color, writing this comment now makes me feel nauseated.

I have decided to edit my previously negative review for vita Bella. Recently we were at a friends house and they ordered vita Bella and the pizza was actually very good. We then decided to give them another chance and ordered ourselves and it was very good again with no problems and since the a couple more times. Apparently they have made some improvements since our first time ordering here and in fairness I felt the review needed to be updated.

I like the food. Especially their take on breadsticks. But I'll have to stop getting delivery pizza from here. This is the second time I've received a delivery where it seems as if it was stowed vertically. In other words all the cheese and toppings slid off the pizza making for a highly unappetizing presentation and a mess to serve and eat. The last time we got a sloppy looks pizza they were trying to make up for having burnt a pick-up order. This place may be trying to address complaints and improve but when it results in pizza like the picture I attached today, it's just not worth my time to get it fixed -- shouldn't be poorly handled in the first place.

The food here is great, having worked here though I can tell you it's a lot of shady, greasy business behind the scenes...the managers have absolutely NO concern for the well-being of their drivers..they are not paid by the hour, and every little thing that goes wrong comes out of the driver's pocket whether it is their fault or not. The driver always has to act as the middleman and take it upon themselves to fix mistakes or contact customers if there is an issue and this puts them in an extremely awkward situation, when the crew makes a mistake or takes longer than expected to make the food, the driver ends up being the one that gets unloaded on by the customer even though they had absolutely nothing to do with the mistake. I actually just quit this god forsaken place today after I had to make an unavoidable slam on the brakes when someone pulled out in front of me on a delivery and the manager still tried to make me pay for the damaged pizza and was extremely rude to me about the entire situation! Keep this in mind when you order here, and make sure that if you do order you tip your drivers well, you don't understand the bullshit they have to endure behind the scenes. Also, the cooks don't wear gloves. Food is good, but the business practices that go on behind the scenes are COMPLETELY unorthodox and show no concern for the well being of their employees.

I had the thin crust pizza today and thought it was very good. The only thing is the crust could have been a little more crispy. I thought the sauce had a nice flavor. There was just the right amount of toppings on the pizza. They must do a booming delivery business, because even on a Sunday it was a non-stop flow of deliveries going out the door. I will be returning. I may have to try the beef based on the other review.

Got the works pizza, which contained a ridiculous variety of toppings. Turned out that we would of been better off saving $7 by getting one with olives and green peppers since those were the only toppings I was detecting. Wasn't bad or anything don't get me wrong, but try not to get too crazy with the toppings is all that I'm saying.

Some of the best thin crust pizza you can get around here. The buttery crust is better than Fat Ricky's. Wish the mushrooms were fresh, though. Good za!

For some reason, we forget our previous disappointment here and about once a year order a pizza. Well, that won't be happening again - three strikes and you're out. Very disappointed by their deep dish pizza, probably the worst I've ever had.

After trying some of the other local places (Rosati's, Michaels, Jimenos, Brunos', to name a few), we really liked Vita Bella. We almost always go with the deep dish. I like their sauce because it is a little different than most of the other places. As for the service, I tend to agree that this place can be a little disorganized. I have had to wait on a few occasions and one time they had completely lost my order. To their defense, they ended up giving me the pizza for free. Still, I think their pizza is worth a try.

To be honest I can't even remember if I have ever eaten their pizza. HOWEVER, their Vita Bella Beef sandwich is awesome. I almost NEVER ever finish a beef sandwich because usually they are too wet and juicy and while that is usually a plus for some people, the mushy gooey bread grosses me out. The cool thing about the Vita Bella Beef is that it looks like start with garlic bread (not just plain bread, so its already toasty and crispy and holds the juice in a lot more), slice it down the center, and lay they crust down. They put some beef on each half, sprinkle cheese on each half and then bake it open-face for a bit. Yum Yum YUM! Plus each one comes packaged in its own little box and it stays warm and usually not mushy. Wahoo. I love it.

Great Pizza every time. Check the local mail, they are always sending out coupons. The dough nuggets are interesting, they are sweet, but you dip them in marinara sauce. I'm not a big fan of mixing flavors, but I can't stop eating these things for some reason?

Best thin crust pizza I've had in Plainfield/Shorewood area. These guys always make a great pie!

I have considered this one of the best values of the local Italian restaurants we frequent. However, on our last visit we noted that they have added three large screen TVs on the walls. This really kills any old-world ambience or atmosphere. Not a prudent move. The food was good, as always. Service was slow due to being short that day. We will be back, but take down theTVs!!!!!!

I don't get all the bad reviews of this place. They have the best white pizza I have Ever had. The thin crust is cracker crispy and delicious! Don't believe all the bad reviews, this pizza is good. They only thing I don't care for is the deep dish here. I leave that up to Lou Malnati's

What can I say? They have the best pizza in this area, hands down. They have great service too. They got slammed with orders and my pizza took two hours. The manager gave me 10 dollars off of my next order and they upheld that promise. There pizza is consistant too. That is hard to find this day and age. They are more expensive , but you get what you pay for. Great pizza. I do not understand how anyone could give this place a bad review.
