another noodles review, this one is right in the middle rating wise of all the ones in my area, and i've probably been to them all. it's very clean, but small, and super hard to get to if you've got to turn from the wrong side of the street, which is a turn off for me. i have no complaints about the food like i did in wheaton, so yay! more noodles! i swear they put some kind of addictive substance in the dishes.

Very quick and on the dot staff, make this a very good option for super busy lunch hour in Oakbrook/Lombard. Typical fare for the chain, good taste, not many options for dessert.

Since it was close to shopping I decided to check it out to see how noodle worthy it really was. I ordered a small mushroom cavatappi with parm. crusted chicken and an iced tea, and it was almost $8.00. Not that that's a ton, but the quantity of food for the price was lackluster. I'm not a piggy pig, or a food hound--but c'mon Panera at least leaves me full for the same dollar amount. Had I ordered the large, it easily would have been $10.00 for a quick lunch-- which I think is ridiculous. If I'm paying that money for lunch, the food should have more flavor and the chicken shouldn't feel like rubber and be the size of my palm (which is tiny btw) I'm not in a hurry to check this place out again, there's plenty of other much better places in the vicinity. I'm disappointed in you noodles. I wanted slirping and dripping yummy goo-ness since I consider myself a noodle wh***. Apparently I'm changing my ways and maturing...ready to settle down with something more dependable.

I never knew this was a restaurant until I got a gift card for it. Great, stuck with it.....ok, noodles. What is the big frigging deal? They take about 40 cents worth of noodles, put about 50 cents of whatever on it and BAM! you have an $8.00 entree that is barely eatable. I surely wasn't overly impressed, and I pray not to get another gift card for this place! Nowhere I'd run back to!

Taste good, good mix of veggies among various selections, priced right. no pressure to leave and no up sales or cross-selling. Free lemons!

Stopped here on lunch today. Finally realized it is close to my office. Ordered the Japanese Pan Noodles and a tomato and cucumber side salad. Both were delicious. The service was quick and friendly. I was quite pleased with my visit today. It was not busy by the time I got there so hopefully it will be just as pleasant at a busier time.

This four star is solely for their Wisconsin Mac and Cheese with parmesan chicken! It's extra cheesy and gooey with the nice crisp, flavorful chicken! If you're a mac and cheese die hard fan I suggest you try it now! However, for the Asian lovers like myself, their Asian dishes can't compare to authentic pad Thai and Bangkok curry. Potstickers you say? Not recommended at all due to the fact the taste is bland and they're flat.. potstickers are plump and tasty! *sad face* it seems like we can't have the best of everything in once place! I have also tried other various dishes like the penne rosa or pesto cavatappi, which are both also great pasta dishes, but I can't help it and stray back to the mac and cheese *drools*! For those looking for a healthier pasta, the whole grain tuscan linguine is decent for 'fast food' healthiness. Service is efficient and friendly and the outdoor patio is great for those nice cool days. Like I said four stars for the mac and cheese even if other dishes aren't worth raving about.

I like this location. They have good food for a good price when you are on the run. This also allows you to get good pasta with out sitting down at a restaurant and dealing with servers. That's nice when you are in a hurry.

First off, I normally appreciate the certain fast food noodle quality that most Noodles & Company offer. ...but not at this one. This Noodles is really really terrible. I keep going back trying different items thinking each time that it MUST be a fluke. No way they can consistently be just that bad, right? Wrong. Overcooked noodles, under-cheesed Mac and Cheese. Indonesian Peanut Saute was WAY too saucy (the lime was swimming somewhere on the bottom of the bowl under a pile of gluey peanut). One time I asked for an extra cup of sauce for the Tuscan Linguini dish. The woman gave me red sauce first (which took 10 mins), and then balsamic vinaigrette next. I ended up leaving with the balsamic even though I paid for the extra (creamy) sauce. Wait staff incompetent + bad food + longish waits... sorry Noodles. 3 strikes, 3 strikes...

I love noodles and company. Recently I've noticed that prices have gone up quite considerably and I haven't been able to come quite as often as I'd like. But out of all the locations I've been to, this is my least favorite. I haven't been able to put my finger on why exactly. I can say it's just not as esthetically pleasing as some of the other locations, it feels cramped. It's harder to get into and get out of. The staff here has always been very nice to me. During my last visit the soda machine unexpectedly stopped working and a customer was being VERY rude to the cashier. I must say the cashier handled the situation very well for having someone pretty much call him an idiot for something he couldn't control. Props to that guy. He needs a raise just for being able to keep his cool so well. That lady was a gigantic B. Anyway, after dealing with that crazy lady they had no problems offering me a free drink out of their drink case instead of making me wait for the soda machine to be fixed. It ended up being fixed only seconds after I grabbed my drink. Nice job guys. Sorry you had to deal with that.

Friendliest staff ever. I hadn't been to this place before, so I got something simple and it was delicious. Also, they accommodate a lot of food allergies, which is great. The food is good and fresh. Definitely will be back!

I've never been to another Noodles and Company before so my rating is not in comparison to other locations. Instead, and probably for the worse, my one star rating is based solely on the suckery of the food that comes out of the kitchen here. The place is called Noodles and has a pretty wide variety of noodly dishes. However, it's probably the worst pastas I've had ever. The noodles themselves are fine but on the few carb binging occasions that I've stopped in for lunch I've ended up with a dry and tasteless version of whatever it is that I thought I was buying. For example, the first time I went in I ordered the truffle mac and cheese. When I got back to my office I found a pile of totally dry and sauceless noodles. After some digging I found the sauce at the bottom but it was such a small quantity that no amount of stirring would even half cover the pasta in the bowl. Being pretty forgiving and understanding that everyone has an off day I went back to Noodles a month or so later and ordered the same dish but this time requested "extra sauce". It seemed to me that the up charge for extra sauce is measured in teaspoons because my lunch was equally as dry and lacking of anything resembling a cheese sauce. Against my better judgement I went back with coworkers once more after this and decided I would try for the Stroganoff this time. It can't be that EVERY dish that comes out of there is as bad as my previous experiences, right?!?! Wrong. It was terrible. What little lubrication that came with that particular pasta bowl was extra oily and sad. Next time I need a carb fix I'd rather eat a stale and moldy loaf of bread than return to Noodles and Company. Don't waste your time.

I had the Wisconsin Mac n Cheese, and my friend had the Pad Thai. My Mac n cheese was maybe half covered with cheese and half plain. The cheese was to greasy too. My friends Pas Thai was plain, bland, not mixed well, and was missing ingredients.

Love this place! The people here are so friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied. I go here because I get random cravings for their Penne Rosa and as many times as I've tried to make it at home, I'll never get sick of getting some from here. I go to this location because it's close to my school, which is really convenient. I had an experience when my friend's food was served cold, because they wanted to bring out everyone's meal at once and hers was made first. They remade it for her without any fuss, loved that! I'll go here again and again, never get sick of their food! :)

Our first trip here and both my wife and I enjoyed our pasta entrees. I look forward to trying something else during a future visit....

I came here on a Wed at 12:30pm. There was no line and not many people there so we got fairly quick service. I got the regular sized mac and cheese. It was aiight!

LOVE. No really, LOVE. When I was pregnant, I craved macaroni and cheese. I forced my kindhearted and agreeable husband to the OP Noodles & Co--on average--at least 2-3 times a week. The reason I'm happy to give it five stars? My pregnancy resulted in a son who is now three, and I'm still delighted to eat there any time. The restaurant is always spotless (by far, the best Noodles I've been to and that says a LOT!) and the service? Impeccable. Great food: always fresh, always generously sized, always willing to substitute, and never do I receive a dirty look when I enter with two toddlers in tow. Eat there. Eat there and love the deliciousness that is their mac and cheese. Ohhhh, mac and cheese. Ohhhh, Noddles. *kiss*

I had the carmelized Japanese udon noodles with tofu. They made the noodles just right-- not too chewy, not too crispy. Darn good stuff. I just wish they had included some more veggies. Fast service.

I can't remember the last time I gave such a lowly score, alas it had to happen sometime. I ordered an $8 "large" bowl of thai curry noodles, and was appalled when I found it barely took up 1/2 of the to-go container. To put it in perspective, I received less noodles and soup than your standard can of progresso. To boot, it tasted bland and apparently adding shrimp to the soup meant just a mere 2 pieces. What a complete and utter rip-off. This is definitely the last time I'm visiting ANY N&C.

Shopping can wear a girl out! Knowing I would be near it today, I was really excited to eat at this Noodles. There isn't one anywhere near my neighborhood and I rarely get to eat here. I am a big Noodles fan and tend to stick with my usual Butter Noodles with Chicken, Extra Parmesan. YUM! I decided to be a bit more adventurous today and ordered the Chicken Pad Thai. Never again. Way too sweet. Almost a ketchupy taste. And runny. UCK. This location is large, clean, and has a spacious outdoor patio. The service was friendly and efficient. I'll be sticking to my usual noodle.

Very cute little place that serves some very tasty noodle creations. The price is right, the service is great and always done with a smile. They have some great spicy dishes and their mac and cheese is to die for.

I love Noodles and Co, and this is easily my favorite branch. Even though it's a bit further from me than the LaGrange location, I always visit this one. Why? Because of the service. The employees here really are affable, they strike up a conversation and aren't simply looking to get your order and get you out of line. One of their recommendations, the Tomato Basil Bisque, is now my preferred dish too. There's plenty of seating space, and they'll bring your order to your table once you've ordered, just like any other Noodles and Co location. Another plus for this location? Parking. LaGrange is miserable in that sense.

What can i say i love Noodles and Company especially being a vegetarian. My favorite is the Mac and Cheese but based on calories i generally go for the indonesian peanut saute with extra broccoli and spinach. Buttered noodles are always yummy and speedy food that is inexpensive and delicious is always a delight. definitely highly recommended.

My wife and I probably eat here about once a month, never had a bad meal. We're particularly fond of the Wisconsin Mac & Cheese and their chicken noodle soup is amazing as well. Whether you dine in or carry out, make sure to get some of that Siracha on your food, that is, if you're a fan of spicy. I swear, I could eat Siracha alone, it's soo good.

By far the best Noodles and Co. I've stepped foot into. I'm a super picky eater, and because I ask for no mushrooms and broccoli, they let me substitute it for something I actually like! This is the only N&C that even SUGGESTED this option to me and didn't charge me extra! THANK YOU! :-) I'll be back for sure.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
