We ordered a stuffed pizza (sausage and garlic) and baked cavatelli. The current picture for Anthony's does not do it justice. I hate to admit it but even when I was deciding on which pizza place to try out, I almost, ALMOST skipped this place because the photos weren't eye popping enough. Let me assure you that if the picture was in 3-D and a scratch and sniff, everyone would go here. Or you could just take my word for it. The 6 pounds of cheese, huge slices of garlic and chunks of sausage was as perfect as it could get already. But the crust was a whole other eating experience. Random fact about Lily F. No matter how awesome a pizza is, I typically do not eat the crust. I know...But most of the time it's like eating pure bread where all I really want is more cheese and toppings. The crust on this bad boy is a little bit crispy, crunchy, chewy, flaky with layers like a biscuit somehow and has residual sauce from the non-crust side so you're not just eating mouthfuls of dry bread. I don't know how else to explain it other than I ate every piece of it. The cavatelli (first time to have it) was like a giant gnocchi drenched with sauce and more cheese, and was worth the price. I will definitely be a repeat customer for Anthony's as I must try their other pizzas. Total price for a small stuffed pizza and the pasta was about 28 bucks.

Anthony's is just your typical old school Chicago "mom/pop" shop where the owner is in the back making the food and his wife is the one up front answering the phones. All Anthony's consists of is a kitchen, counter, a couple of tables for folks to wait and a heck of a pizza! Ordered a couple of thin crust pizzas and we weren't disappointed. Their crust is very thin and very crisp. The cheese they use is real, and when I say real I mean freshly grated 100% mozzarella. The sausage tastes homemade and has a very distinct flavor and the rest of the toppings are fresh, and not out of a can Prices are reasonable and definitely a must try!

A Northlake staple. Only 2 pizza places had stood the "taste" of time. Perry's and Anthony's. There's a reason these places still exist! Good, quality ingredients makes ALL the difference. Family owned, operated and quality assured. Years and years ago they had a restaurant and now it's a delivery/take-out place. That's OK. I'm good as long as I get my pizza! For birthdays I usually order buffalo size pizza. It's a gigantic rectangle that serves at least 10 beasts during football season! lol. Ah... memories. My favorite is ricotta, sausage and mushroom. SOOOOO delicious- think I need pizza tonight!

Two times in the past 2 months we ordered a buffalo pizza half sausage half pepperoni and it came half cheese half pepperoni. So my girlfriend called them just to get into a screaming match with the owner, who argued you did not say sausage there was 5 of us we all heard her order. The owner sends a small pizza. My girlfriend has order from then for 20 years and we will never order from them again. Not to mention the buffalo pizza being a huge sloppy mess. Was a challenge to eat.

When my family went on vacation in Rome last year we were dreading the return because we were going to miss that Italian pizza. After a few weeks of not eating pizza we went to Anthony's for the first time. Now we're pizza geeks and have tried everything from Tombstone to Nancy's, but if you want the most authentic Italian pizza in the area (and I've ever tasted this side of the Atlantic) go to Anthony's. I've never had their stuffed or other items on the menu, but for a thin crust pizza they can't be beat.

I like to order from this place because they are pretty original. On a hot summer day you will catch the owner with a dago-tee on..... just like in Sicily. The last thing I ordered from them was a small pizza , order of mastacolli , mushrooms ,and anthonys special salad which was amazing ( iceberg lettuce, salami, tomatoes, black olives, Italian Cheese, Italian Ham, with like an oil vinegar topping and peppers.

If I want some good pizza, REAL good pizza in fact, I can get it here. I don't need any other reason to give it five stars. Lots of people agree with me. Why else would Anthony's still be in business after 26 years? 26 years, meaning I was still in diapers. Practically still wet behind the ears. Breath smelling like Similac. My dads mustache was still black, for crying out loud. 26 years these days means you're doing something right. Unfortunately, I can only vouch for the pizza. But I can tell you that the pizza here is original. Blindfold me, and jumble up Anthony's pizza with 5 other local or non local thin crust pizzas, and I undoubtedly will pick it out. It seems they go a little heavier on garlic and oregano than most places, which I totally condone. And plentiful on cheese, which I also advocate. They also do other usual Italian fare, including pasta, a variety of sandwiches and appetizers, chicken parmigiana, soups, etc. They have one or two small tables to eat in, but presumptuously make most their business through carry-out and delivery. You have to appreciate places like this because it seems to be just one little Italian man running this joint. He was the one who answered the phone and took my order, made my pizza, and upon pickup, swiped my credit card with doughy hands, apron still on and everything. Here's to Anthony's and another 26 or more years.

First off, I'm VERY picky about Italian food, and this surpasses some of the 'best' Italian food I've eaten in Italy as well as in NY where I'm from. This place is absolutely AMAZING! My friend and I were in from out of town, and we were looking for a place to eat close to our hotel at like 10:30pm tonight. Anthony's showed up on Yelp and we decided to give it a try. OH.MY.GOD. - Unexpected PURE GOODNESS and AUTHENTICITY is what we got! I ordered the cavatelli with extra red sauce, and my friend got a meatball sub with mozzarella. Again...OH.MY.GOD! Was it the sauce!? Was it the homemade cavatelli!? Or, the homemade meatballs that are better than my Italian mother's!? Either way, the sounds we each were making as we were eating were comical as we BOTH couldn't get enough. Anthony is from Sicily, and he knows good food. DEFINITELY go to this place - do NOT pass it up, even though it's a random small place. You won't be disappointed.

Have yet find "my pizza place" in the area but this will do in a pinch. Good thin crust. Need to remember to ask for extra cheese and have it well-done.

I moved not too far from this place a few months ago and I've been lookin around for good local pizza. This place is beyond good its downright amazing. I ordered a stuffed pizza last night and I was not dissapointed. The crust was perfectly soft and the cheese was wonderful. The sausage was pretty good and I quite enjoyed the pizza sauce itself. I like the hint of garlic in the pizza as well its like getting garlic as a topping for free. I am eager to try the non pizza items and the pricing is good so I will be odering from here again soon.
