Went here for the first time with my mom last week. Loved it! They had a great selection of gurt flavors and tons of toppings! The staff was young, helpful, friendly and offered several suggestions. There were several Gluten-Free options & everything was labeled nicely. Cute atmosphere & very clean. It was a little tight during busier times. We ended up being there coincidentally on the first day of Northbrook Days, so it was pretty busy & there wasn't too much seating available. We were taking our order to go, so it didn't bother us. We will definitely be back!

The fruit was not fresh and taste was not good. They wanted to close earlier and not follow their open hours.

I love froyo and eat it at least 4 times a week. I'm a frozen yogurt connoisseur. Which is why I'm writing this review. I've had my fair share of bad froyo. You win some and you lose some. But this establishment is exceptionally awful. This place is unsanitary and gross. The staff are rude and they sit there on the couch (which is meant for guests) on their phones all the time. You have to actually ask for service to buy your yogurt, otherwise they'll just keep texting away on the couch. Don't get me wrong, I love texting just as the next person, but if I used my phone at work, I'd be fired. Tip: If you make the DUMB decision to go here, and you're not receiving service, you need to actually say "can I please pay now?" and then wait for the incompetent cashier to finish their text before they can assist you. The yogurt is also very thick and airy in a bad way. It has a strange after taste of plastic, and is way too sweet. I honestly don't know how the health department hasn't closed this place down yet. Here's a little tip to the owner-- take better care of your machines, put a little more effort into your hiring and training, and maybe people will stop leaving negative reviews. I have also filed a report with the corporate yogen fruz company because this establishment is ruining their image.

Called to see what time they were open until, the employee said 9 o'clock. We arrived at 8:50 and they would not let us in said they were closed. I called and explained we drove there from about 15 minutes away and the girl apologized and said we close at either 8:30 or 9:00. Very very unprofessional will never set foot in there again.

I was at the Northbrook location and this place is dirty. Too many fruit flies, dirty chairs and rude owner. The owner was an older blonde very thin lady and she kept having attitude and acting rude to a young employee in front of us. Very unprofessional and very mean. She kept running to each machine after using it and wiping with a dirty rag. The fruit I had was molded, the marshmallow sauce had weird color oozing out. Place looks unsanitary. The yogurt tastes okay but too sweet. I prefer Red mango over yogen Cruz!

The young woman who waited on us this afternoon was rude in the extreme and too incompetent to put yogurt in a cup. If I can't leave a good review I generally don't leave any review. I'm making an exception. This girl had a shockingly bad attitude. The kind of experience that just ruins your day. Wow.

Horrible customer service. Yogurt machine exploding on me and then it tasted spoiled!

Nothing bad to say about them, but nothing absolutely amazing about them either. Very standard. I do like that there is a glass shield over the toppings which some places don't have. They have 6 flavors to choose from, and all the standard toppings you could want. They also have a rewards card which I like. The people were very friendly, and the store itself is set up very nicely.

I recommend the Red Velvet, perfect place for people of all ages to hang-out, Italian coffee, and best hours around town!

WOW! I don't live up this way but my husband and I were staying with his relatives in Northbrook for the Labor Day weekend and were looking for fun things to do around the area. We went to a park for the day, since it was so beautiful, and on the way home we got stuck at a freight train. Booo. Well, not so much, because his cousin pointed out this yogurt place on the corner that had just opened recently, and we figured since we'd be sitting here for a few minutes, we might as well stop and get some frozen yogurt (it's not like we were in a hurry)! So yeah, we go inside and I see the soft serve handles on the wall and I'm like...okay, what do I do? Well, the kid behind the counter was great in explaining everything to us--we could either fill a cup with basically WHATEVER we wanted, and pay by weight, or we could order off the wall menu and pay a fixed price. Yeah, I definitely did it by weight. We all got a few flavors to mix together, helped ourselves to the toppings bar (another WOW, so many to choose from, fresh fruit to chocolate to junk food, amazing!), and surprisingly it was only like $4 a pop! Considering everything I had in my cup, I had expected to pay like $15 or something! And maaaaaan did it taste good. What a bargain! Not to mention the decor was super cute, and we all sat on this little couch to enjoy our cups, so comfy. I told my husband's cousin that every time we're out this way, we are stopping at this place. Can't wait to go back!

Finally! Yogen Fruz has opened! I eagerly stopped into Yogen Fruz during lunch today and was greeted with enthusiastic smiles. I've been to Yogen Fruz before and knew my constant fro-yo cravings would be fulfilled once again. This Yogen Fruz location is self serve which I've always been iffy about but I was too excited to care. I got my original tart yogurt (in a medium size cup) and topped it with all the fruit it could hold. Total came out to be about $4. The cashier/owner was pleasant and offered me a Yummy Rewards card - they must know that I'm already a fro-yo addict. The two owners chatted with me about why they decided on Yogen Fruz versus other chains. You can sense their passion in the Yogen Fruz brand and I appreciated their relaxed attitude. The toppings were fresh and the toppings "bar" was spotless. The frozen yogurt is crisp but still has the smoothness of yogurt - what I like most about Yogen Fruz. I'll be back time and time again. I might fill up the Yummy Rewards card by next week. :)

My husband and I decided to stray from our traditional frozen yogurt place to try Yogen Fruz. We're sold! The vanilla mixed with red velvet frozen yogurt with yogurt chips was so good! My husband loved the mint chocolate with red velvet yogurt and yogurt chips. The establishment is incredibly clean and they are more than happy to offer you samples of all the flavors. Prices were reasonable, and we even got a 1 dollar off coupon for next time. We'll definitely be back soon!
