What's the downside of trying something new? Not liking it! I decided to venture out and try the cinnamon dolce latte, iced, and not a fan. Beforehand the barista told me he would make me something else if I didn't like it. Being stubborn, I went with it. Well I got my drink and sure enough, I wasn't a fan. I thought I would stick through it and suck it up. That didn't last very long. A few sips later, I totally regretted it and made my way back up to the barista bar with remorse. Noah, the friendly barista, was happy to make me something else. He even upgraded me to a Venti. I agree the customer service here is top notch. If you don't mind getting out of your car, this is a great location!

This location is terrible. Always has been. The 1 girl in there is seemingly nice enough but have caught the eye roll from her on occasion. Everyone else that works here is a d*ck. Pardon my language but I usually leave here frustrated. If you like your beverages with a huge side of sass this is your spot. New faces but the same poor attitude for the years I've lived in Naperville. Please put new management in place, someone with a half decent sense of customer service. Oh and the pour over usually taste like mop water. Also I never buy food from Starbucks but if I did I'd hate to see a guy open a cellophane package just to dump an overpriced chocolate croissant into there pretty little paper bag when there are like 10 in the case. Why? Just hand me the cellophane packaged glorified little debbie and let's be done with it. That being said the new layout they rolled out a while back but continuously change is quite comfy actually. It reminds me of my mother moving the furniture around in the living room every month. Hahaha I also really like the outdoor seating area. That still can't make up for the lack of customer service.

I'm always on the lookout for awesome local coffee shops to post up at and get some work done, but some days are just crazy busy and I need to pop in to the closest, most convenient caffeine station and start crankin' away on my lap top. That place, by default, is usually a Starbucks. I was here from about 2-4pm on a Friday afternoon and the place was packed. The line was long and tables were full. Luckily, I snagged a spot at the end of a large communal table, but it was right by the door so it got chilly. Most Starbucks locations I've been to are like a well-oiled machine -- almost robot like if you ask me. But this location unfortunately was not. The service was super slow. I ordered a tall skinny vanilla latte, which to me is a pretty standard order, and it took forever. Plus, once it was ready my name wasn't called out and neither was my drink (isn't that sort of Starbucks protocol?). I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe I just didn't hear them, but regardless my drink sat up there for quite some time. Another issue? Wifi. I might as well have been old school dialing into AOL, because the connection was slow as molasses. To end on a positive note, all the local patrons in the Starbucks were super friendly! Everyone was willing to share tables and it almost seemed like they all new each other. I took this to mean that this place has a handful of regulars, so they must be doing something right. But for me, I've had better.

No chance at an independent coffee shop in these parts; but I had a little time to kill, and this is where I killed it. It's your basic Starbucks, but it is quite cramped because of all the merchandising between the counter and what I just thought to call the "coffee condiments." I was sitting by them and having to be ready to lift my toes each time someone walked by, lest toe jam become a worse injury than it is. (Not that there's anything right about it...) One of the culprits: see my photos of the "Starbucks Card Collection." I love stocking stuffers as much as the next guy, but do we REALLY need a card for every letter of the alphabet (the bottom 4.33 rows)? Along with the "you're cute," the cassette tape and the sunglasses? WOW, caffeine with my initial on it. Thank you, Santa!

4-stars for coffee. 3 or less for the location and baristas/service. Go down the street to the spacious new SB at Ogden / Naper Blvd. This location is tiny and horribly designed. Very small and narrow seating area. Especially the tables jammed 12" from the high-top counter at the end of the work area. Baristas can't seem to perform the first in, first out on drinks. Or even within a few orders or one another. I witnessed 5 people in a row not get their drinks. Stand around 10 minutes, complain, then be asked, "oh- what did you order?" Really? Even a couple people who specifically asked for something, lower temp, for instance... Then be asked, "oh- I forgot to lower the temp.... Here's your drink anyway." Do it right! Do it over! I feel I should actually give it 2-stars since the bathroom had no soap. That's a telling sign about employee hygiene!

Fast efficient...they seemed ot have regulars come in and have a good rapport with them...always nice to see. Recommendations for new comers were given freely and the layout of the place was ncie and efficient.. Good stuff.

Probably the fastest and most efficient Starbucks ever. I wasn't even done putting my change away and my venti Chai Tea latte with soy was ready. Service was friendly and to the point which I appreciated. The interior was spacious with comfy chairs and wifi while the exterior "patio" was relaxed and had some nice tables and chairs so I could hang out and enjoy the weather. Sidebar: That "homeless" blogger guy who used to be located in downtown Naperville on Chicago by the parking lot has moved here. I'm pretty sure there was a town hall meeting that required him to move his camp elsewhere and he chose this quaint little spot. Should I ever find myself to be a renegade of society, I'd prob set up shop here too. Nice choice, blogger man. Way to stick it to the man.

This is a pretty average Starbucks location. Another instance of me hating the parking lot but the main thing is that I have had a couple of issues with my drink being made correctly. Also, if I ask for something a certain way, I'm asking for it that way for a reason. I will put the milk and fake sugar in there myself - is that really weird or something? Service is quick enough, maybe a little faster than some other locations.

Like the others have said, it's average. The ordering was very chaotic here and I was completely confused as to where I needed to wait for my drink; coffees were being delivered to customers at three separate locations of the counter, something I have never seen before. Otherwise, the drinks were alright but the slow service, tight parking, and disorganized ordering process will have me going elsewhere.

Probably my favorite Starbucks in the Naperville area. Not because of the layout - the seating is fairly limited and set out in the most un-cozy design ever - but because they are quick and the coffee is always fresh. Staff is very friendly, efficient and they make a good cup. Well done.

I HATE this Starbucks. I want to ram my car into the side of the building, which would make way for a much needed drive-thru window. Service is SLOW in the mornings. It's apparent that they have their regulars, who walk in all cheery and greet everyone. If you're not a regular, the employees are robotic and are only interested in avoiding eye contact. The last time I was here (which will be the last), the barista put my drink on the counter but didn't bother to say anything. My drink just sat there while he continued to chat with a lady about her parent-teacher conferences that day. I asked, "is this mine?" and he didn't even look at me! I asked again, "excuse me, is this mine?" but then I read the label and saw that, yes, it was mine. So then I said again, "excuse me, can I please have a drink stopper?" He flat out ignored me and continued to chat with the customer fawning over me. He eventually noticed me STARING at him, since verbal communication failed, and got a little huffy that I dared to interrupted. I sighed loudly, rolled my eyes at both of them, and got the hell out of there. Assholes work here. Assholes get their coffee here.

Every time I go into this Starbucks their fast and friendly. The one downside is that they don't have a drive thru. The seating is decent here but it would be nice if it was a little bigger. Try the new Carmel Flan it's really good.

Not the best layout for computer use. Two walls of windows (south/east) catch the sun, and even with the shades down, the reflections on computer screens are distracting. More power outlets would be useful, too. The location of promotional material between the ordering counter and the drink station for cream/sweetener makes the area a bit cramped when the ordering line backs up. If you sit in the comfy chairs, you need to readjust your seating as people pass by on their way to the restroom or the side door as the clearance is quite tight. Service is good and the personnel keep the place in excellent shape.

The two star rating in NO way reflects my feelings about Starbucks as an entity, here, no no. My feelings about Starbucks and soy gingerbread lattes and skinny caramel lattes and caffeine are deep, passionate, and unchanging. My feelings about THIS Starbucks? Meh. They botch my drinks like every 3rd time here. Now here's the thing, I am so annoying when I order. I live in constant fear that I'm being bashed in many a Starbucks employee tumblr somewhere. But they don't botch my drink in the "um I asked for 134 degrees, not 132!" It's more like "I ordered a venti vanilla latte and this is a pet armadillo." Like the drink they try to give me is always completely out of left field. And every time it's wrong, I get serious attitude from the barista, who asks if really actually want the drink I ordered. Yes, I want the drink I ordered. And please stop rolling your eyes. This particular part of Naperville is hardcore saturated with Starbucks (I've worked in the area for 6 years so I've memorized many locations!) and this is far and away my least favorite - and that's including the ones located in Target (Diehl) and Dominick's (Denada). Yikes.

The store layout is nice and all in all, it's a normal Starsucks. Easy parking and near our place so I go there to get our espresso ground for the mornings. However, I've found the clientele to be a bit on the yuppy and uber happy side (the vibe is kinda superficial in my opinion). If I want to chill at a Starsucks I try to hit the one on Jefferson just down a shot in downtown Naperville. However, if you can tune out the crowd easily then this place has a bit more space than the Jefferson location. You should generally be happy with this store but obviously, we all have different tastes and preferences.

The coffee is fine, its starbucks. The service was ok when I was at the counter. But, when I was working there for the afternoon they had one particular barista would was incredibly annoying and loud. Its not a large starbucks. He was complaining about all the hipsters and asked a customer "Why do you sit at Starbucks all day, don't you have anything else to do?" Then he was complaining about the music playing and pulled out his laptop to play music over what was already playing. Incredibly rude, annoying and loud.
