    I went into this store to pick up dinner and ordered the 10 piece dinner special which reads a mix or match 10 pcs. of chicken or strips. I asked for all spicy Thighs and they said since this was a special order I would have to wait 12 minutes even though they had a huge basket of spicy chicken ready to go. I asked why and they said in case they get a rush. Mind you there was no one else in the store! They proceeded to cook the chicken and then charged me an extra $1.00 for the special order without telling me. I asked for the manager and the girl said that she was the manager. I asked for the name of the owner and she said she was instructed never to give out that information. They were a bunch of kids working there and all were laughing at the conversation. I will never visit this store again and the owner should really set their employees straight!

    Sorry, I didn't like it. I wanted to like it. But didn't. It just isn't as tasty as KFC. Service also kinda sucked. They had stuff on the menu that they were out of, like the gallons of iced tea and the red beans and rice has pork in it:( Won't be coming again, sorry!

    This is my first review but I think everyone should know. The absolute worst service ever!!! STAY AWAY! I ordered 16 pieces of chicken and only received 14. I realized their error when I arrived home 30 minutes later (I was on my way home from work). When I called to let them know, the so-called "manager/owner" told me I had to drive back to the store with the product so he could "asses" whether an error was made. I told him I lived 30 minutes away and it would take me 1 hour round trip. He said he could not do anything for me because I would have to PROVE they made an error and said it was VERY unlikely that they would ever make a mistake. I told him to ask the girl who fixed the order and he asked my age. When I said 48, he proceeded to insult me and tell me to act my age because I was "making fun of a 17 yr old girl! I was absolutely shocked at the treatment I received. I worked in the food industry and would NEVER think of treating a customer that way! I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!! I will also tell everyone I know never to visit the Popeye's on Rt. 59. I wish I could give them negative stars!

    Come here at lunch and get an 8 piece dark. They never have chicken ready even at lunch. They make you wait 20 minutes to get your chicken. This is one of the worst Popeye's locations around. I am pretty sure they don't have a clue that all they server is chicken. Its like going to McDonalds and they say they don't have hamburgers ready. You need to wait 20 minutes. The Popeye's near Fox Valley Mall has it together compared to these guys.

    I'm not a huge fan of eating in or even the drive thru, but let me tell you about the catering...yes. Every time I have a big party and I want to impress the crowd, I get the Popeye's chicken catered. I'm talking 100 pieces of delicious, crunchy, superfantastisch chicken that people go nuts for. No, correction - they go nutz: nuts with a z. The best part is that I get to eat any leftovers for days. I get 100 pieces of chicken for about $100 (less if you get a coupon!) and I highly recommend the spicy variety. I love that chicken from Popeye's.

    This store has the friendliest employees. One of them, Madison, has great customer service skills. When I asked about specials, she explained each of then in detail, and when I got the food it was fast, fresh, and delicious. Also, the manager, Erik, was very friendly and smiled when talking to me so I was very pleased. I will definitely be returning!

    The negative reviews of this place are all accurate. I went through the drive thru last week to get a 5$ box of tenders. I was told to pull around and wait while it was made. I waited. And Waited. For 10 minutes. Then, the manager came outside and told me they messed up my order and asked me for it again (there is no "they," as he took my order in the drive thru, I recognized his voice). Finally, my order was brought out. I went home only to find no biscuit, no sauces, and half the tenders missing. Last night, I got a shrimp po'boy to go. I was made to wait while the 16 year old fried the shrimp, which I though would at least make for a fresh sandwich. When I got home, there were about 6 pieces of emaciated shrimp on a soggy, mayo-laden bun with no lettuce. The sandwich literally limped from either end when I picked it up at the middle. Not for 6 bucks. No thank you. In short, gross ineptitude or lack of care. Either way, it's fast food. It's the very base of labor. Not difficult to mess up.

    I went through the drive thru tonight and placed an order. They did not put half the biscuits in the bag after I asked if everything was in the bag. I called the "manager", Eric and he was as worthless as I imagined he'd be. Needless to say I will not be back and I do not expect Eric to be employed there much longer.

    Be aware of this store. The store manager (Eric) is ruthless and has no customer experience. I ordered 14 pieces chicken meal to come home and found out they were two pieces missing. When I contacted the store manager he flat out said he did not believe me. All I was asking was a store credit for the two pieces but he would not do anything. He even refused to connect me with management when I requested so. Their customer experience skills have long way to go and I would not recommend this place until this worthless manager is gone.

    Read the bad reviews but I still went because it was 2piece Tuesday. The customer service was not bad..wasn't great but I mean there were no glaring flaws. Food was hot and I checked in and out quickly. Will definitely be returning because you can't pass up 2 piece Tuesday.

    I had never eaten at popeyes, but I'm getting sick of KFC chicken always being soggy and disgusting so I figured I would give it a try. This service could not have been better the employees were super courteous and super quick.. Best chicken and service! Couldn't ask for a better experience!! Thanks for the tasty food!!

    We came to this location last fall. I had just given birth. So early November. My review on facebook was deleted so I have decided to come here. My husband stopped their after work. We got our normal. We get a 14pc with two mashed and gravy and corn on the cob. When my husband got home he realized the mashed was not there. Annoyed I drive back. Drove back. They realized that they messed up our chicken as well. I didn't even realize. Then decided to call me a liar saying I got mashed potatoes and just lying about it get new chicken. Well, yeah if screwed my chicken I would like that to. I was humiliated. Calling me a liar over potatoes. With a newborn at home and driving more than 10 minute each way the last thing I would lie about is potatoes. I haven't been to this location since and will never go back. It was the worst Customer service I have ever encounter in all my life.

    I've been here twice to pick up spicy chicken tenders. There's mostly young kids working here, but they are courteous and my order was right both times. I actually like Popeyes better than KFC or White Fence Farm. Oh, get over it! I happened to notice that the cashier had really pretty, shiny, long black hair. That's when I thought, "hey shouldn't her hair be in a ponytail?" I never worked in food service, but I did work in a grocery store, and they were adamant about hair longer than chin-length be pulled back in a ponytail. I found it strange that her mid-back length hair was trailing behind her instead of pulled back. She looked presentable and clean, this was just an observation of mine. A 5 piece chicken tender order was almost $7, which I felt was a little steep considering that feeds 1-2 people depending on appetites. I didn't find any hairs in my chicken so I'll be back.

    I've eaten at MANY different Popeye's... But this location has to be THE worst in terms of service. The manager of this location is clueless and just plain rude. My last visit was in 2012 on Halloween, and they refused to serve me all white meat because they were "too busy and couldn't take special requests". I'm sorry, but if you know it's going to be a busy night, plan for it, don't make excuses. If you want Popeye's, go to the location next to Fox Valley mall, they understand the meaning of customer service and have always gone the extra mile for me.

    I couldn't agree more with the reviews! Attitude with employees is terrible!!! I ask for an order and am told that it is too large...only 50 pieces, and that I will need to wait 30 minutes while they have 200 pieces in the rack and are filling orders from people who show up after I did. I have watched 4 walk ins and 5 drive up orders leave with twice the amount that I had requested. When asked why an employee, JENNY, interjects with my conversation with the manager, who has no name tag and refused to give her name and give me an attitude. If you hate your job and the customers so much, maybe you should try another line of work!!!!! Ownership should see a pattern here!!!!! Hopefully when you read this, you pick another location as Romeoville and the other Naperville location are not that far away and are always friendly and quick to fill orders of ANY size!!! Just left 15 minutes later and the rack is still filled to the top with chicken that I could have let with 20 minutes ago. Fast food.... Really?????
