Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

I love it here! Their menu is huge. Breakfast is good. They give free donuts during breakfast hours. What's not to like? During my most recent visit, I ordered the mozzarella spinach omelette and my friend got the crepe-o-rama. Both were really good and big portions. Their prices are reasonable and I've had great service every time I've gone. They also have a big dining room, so there's never a long wait.

So I will make this short as I can. I will not be returning. The best part of the visit was the donuts. We were giving freshly made donuts when we were first seated. I knew for sure this would be a good visit however, it went downhill from there. The waitress seemed irritated that we were asking questions about different things. Maybe because it was 7 in the morning. When our food finally arrived, wow, what a sight. I had never seen eggs so brown before. I didn't even have cheese in them. Horrible sight. The pancakes were so dry that even after I added more and more butter , it still wasnt good. The "home style potatoes", can you say HORRIBLE. the vegetables in the potatoes were over cooked on top of being ridiculously bland. The egg scramble is a joke especially if you get egg whites. It didn't look edible. Overall, a bad experience and I don't need to torture myself again. :( Two stars for hours open and donuts.

I went to Juicy-O for breakfast today. I had a groupon so I got a $15 meal for $7. I had a good experience. The food was tasty and I came home with leftovers. The waitress was slow with the check.

Juicy O, a juicy NO. It might not be fair, but I had expectations. The owner of this place is the same guy that owns the Purple Pig and Heaven on Seven.. he got his start making breakfast on the seventh floor at 111 N Wabash in Chicago. I love Heaven on Seven, but at Juicy O... The service wasn't good. From the unfriendly lady at the front to the disinterested waitress, this was an all around poor experience. Service was slow, forgetful and not particularly friendly. The restaurant wasn't very clean either. I had a combo, three eggs over hard with bacon, pancakes and Jimmy's potatoes. Everything was fine. The pancakes were pretty good... I didn't love the texture and was disappointed that they only offer pumpkin pancakes seasonally. My eggs were cooked appropriately and their bacon is pretty good. I really liked Jimmy's potatoes, if not for the service and condition of the area around us, I would have given more stars because of the potatoes. Lisa had a the same plate, but with two scrambled eggs. Her experience was about the same. Our coffee was served lukewarm, we went long periods with empty cups, and it wasn't until our last cup that the coffee was piping hot. The donut hole thing is nice, it makes them a little different. Our's didn't seem very special, so (for me) it's not a reason to go there. Everything that is wrong about this place is fixable, it is hard to imagine that we only caught them at a bad time since they had issues from the bottom up (or, is it top down?)

Each time I go to Juicy-O for breakfast, it keeps getting worse than the time before. Awful experience this morning. The restaurant is a large space with plenty of tables. The cleanliness could be better as there was food and dirt on the floor. The hostess has always been a bit snooty but today her attitude showed me she needs to learn how to treat and interact with customers...this coming from an ex-server. Positives...the complimentary donuts are good and a nice touch, my lemon raspberry crepes were good and plentiful, our waitress Amber was very nice. Negatives....dirty floor, 40-minute wait for food, cappuccino was made incorrectly and had no foam and was all milk, my husband did not get hash browns as requested and the hollandaise sauce on his eggs benedict was watery and tasted like made from a powder mix. The long wait was due a computer issue and there was nothing our waitress could have done to make things move along. Amber even brought out more donuts for the long wait and was apologetic. The hostess, however, had such a "tude." When I was looking around for our server, the hostess came over and sarcastically said "what do you want, I'm right here" ... not is there something you need or can I help you with a pleasant attitude. Then upon checkout when we mentioned about the long wait, she said "can I give you 10% off for your inconvenience?" I thought that was a nice gesture ... until she added, "yeah, no one turns that down" with her sarcastic attitude shining through when we took her up on the offer. I don't think I will be back. For a Sunday morning which usually is a very busy day for breakfast restaurants, there was no one waiting and open tables. Mmmm...thinking that's a huge sign. I will drive the extra 10 minutes to Jam & Jelly which also gives complimentary donuts and provides a cleaner establishment and pleasant staff. Juicy-O is a big NO.

Well before we had went there the service was great and the waitresses were so kind. But one day there was this horrible barf smell and it never went away and that is when we decided to not go there anymore.

If my mom asks me to go brunch, you best believe Juicy-O is where we're going. Pretty sure they know my mom by first name by now. You could say we're kind of a big deal at this joint. Okay, not really...but we're huge fans! I always have a great experience at Juicy-O. It's got a diner feel to it but in my opinion, a bit nicer. This restaurant gets super busy on the weekends but they're like a well-oiled machine. Service is on point. My favorite thing about Juicy-O are the free donuts they give you to start. Those little heavenly bites are so good! My usual order is the quiche of the day, which comes with a side of fresh fruit (ya know, to balance out the dish of donuts I eat). I've had the sausage biscuits as well, which are delightful. Really, you can't go wrong on the menu. They have such a variety of breakfast and lunch options, so sometimes I'll switch it up and get a sandwich. Regardless, I've yet to be disappointed. Juicy-O's food is nothing super fancy, but it's delicious nonetheless. The genuine and friendly staff makes it a pleasure to keep coming back!

Awesome breakfast - huge portions! Just finished breakfast. The mini donuts to start with was a fun treat. I had the healthy scrambler .. Healthy and delicious. My husband had the Ham and Cheese omelet. Large and yummy. Coffee was good. Our friend had the spinach, bacon and tomato frittata. Nice presentation. Very tasty. A definite must for our next visit.

Highly recommend! Food was fast, service was excellent and the food was great! Good amount of food for the price paid and my coffee mug never dipped below half full. And the mini donuts were the perfect beginning to the meal! I would go again and advise any friends to go.

Juicy-O? Ha! More like Potato-O. Everything we had here was smothered in potatoes. Even the silverware came to us dirty, smudged with what? You guessed it! Potatoes! If you like potatoes check this place out. You'll have a blast.

Juices This place is a large minders style brunch place. The good. The staff was very attentive and my coffee cup did not even come close to being empty Speaking of coffee there was pretty darn good. The fresh made doughnuts are free at the table. On the wall of fam they even have a signed picture of the old actor that did the, time to make the doughnuts commercials from dd The biscuits from the bng was good and seemed fresh. The bad The sausage pAtties were meh the were also placed on top of the biscuit so the blocked the gravy absorbsion The gravy itself was also meh The eggs were slightly overlooked as well on an over easy this makes a difference. Overall it was a nice place that I think I just got the wrong stuff. Pass in the bng if you have had real souther style.

Tried juicy-o for the first time with high expectations. For starters the free donuts were cold and the skillet was disgusting and greasy. Very unimpressed with this place, probably will not return.

I have lived in Naperville for almost seven years and have never been treated so poorly... I was there for 40 minutes and no customer service at all... I felt like I was in Mississippi in 1960... I will never go back...

Worst restaurant I've ever been to. Two manager ladies up front were redicilous and rude. Soup came out COLD and half full. My boyfriend waited 22 minutes for syrup for his cold pancakes!!!( yes, we timed it) so we got up and went to the front said I'd pay for my soup but nothing else that was untouched and how it was rude we asked for a booth (bc we have a newborn) and we get suck on the corner table and the other broad said to out my baby underneath the damn table!!!! Are you CRAZY?!. The lady had the AUDACITY to ask me why I sat down at the table if I knew I was going to have a problem. Bitch I was hungry! Id slap her, but I'm a mom. I can't do that in public.

Great little donuts! It was Memorial Day, but we actually didn't wait long to be seated. We did wait a little bit for our food though. I found that the "Jimmy's potatoes were too seasoned, but the scramblers were delicious. Overall, great breakfast experience.

Oddly enough there is a stark difference between this location and the one in Lombard/Downers Grove. This location I have had so-so service. The food has always been up to par but the serivce here has been, meh. The last time we were in the A/C was out. Which I understand is not something that they can't predict, but lying to me and saying that it is working fine? Not so much. It was like 95 out and 90 inside. Sorry, that's not cool....Ha! No pun intended. Overall I love Juicy-O's but I will stick to the other location over this one.

The service was amazing! We got right in on a Sunday morning and were immediately given coffee and doughnuts, the doughnuts here are amazing !! We left with extra to take home, my husband got a skirt steak and egg skillet and I got the florentine Benedict and we both thought it was pretty amazing ! We will definitely be back again !

I'm on the fence with this one. Friendly and fast service. The complementary freshly-made mini donuts were delicious! Hot, moist and straight out of the fryer. My boyfriend's large breakfast was definitely worth the $8.99. My chocolate chip Belgium waffle was not. The mini chocolate chips were not even mixed in the batter. They were simply thrown on top of the waffle. There was no whipped cream topping like many places provide. It was not worth $9. They had an extensive menu. I would be willing to try a quiche or something else next time.

Donutz is da bomb, yo. Other than that, this is your typical dirt cheap, huge amounts of food breakfast place. They have some interesting items on the menu (not every place offers Chicken & Waffles, and their breakfast burritos looked really stellar), and they have actually GOOD items of the health conscious besides oatmeal and egg whites. However, just piling a bunch of bland food on a plate won't cut it all the time. My chicken & waffles was ok, but the chicken tasted like reheated frozen tenders. It was a TON of food and I got my money's worth, but it was a tease because it was just ok. But seriously, those donuts are amazing. You get some FO FREE just for dining in. They really dropped the ball on laying out the front desk/lobby area. It is a hot mess. I went on a Friday morning, so maybe that's a busy day, but I can't even imagine what this place is like on Sunday morning. Everyone (including myself) walked in and was instantly confused on where to go and who to talk to in order to get a table. They need to move the host stand closer to the door, and then shuffle people to a waiting area. Instead, you walk right into a waiting area and there isn't any clear indication where you need to go to get a table. Everyone seemed frazzled (customers and staff alike) and it was really awkward. Also, we were sat in the dining room off to the right of the entrance. This is not anywhere near being connected to the kitchen, apparently. The waitstaff had to carry huge trays of food THROUGH THE WAITING AREA to bring us our food/coffee/whatever. Everyone in the waiting area felt like they were in the way. And I kept watching the waitstaff try to move through the waiting area with food, always certain that they were going to drop it because some waiting patron was going to accidentally bump into them. Anyway, the food was alright and the prices are good. It just seems like everyone becomes loyal to a breakfast place and sticks to it, because they are all KIND OF the same in the end. Cheap, massive piles of eggs, gravy, biscuits, toast, syrup, pancakes, hash browns, or whatever else. I prefer Grandma Sally's on Ogden. But this place isn't terrible.

Free donuts - as an appetizer! Talk about having my attention from the moment we walked in. This is a real decent breakfast/lunch spot. Big menu with plenty of options and very kid friendly. We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I got the burger and fries. It came with soup, too, which was surprisingly good. Burger was standard but tasty. The kids in our group got the mac and cheese. Adults had burgers and sandwiches. All was good. Nothing exceptional, but this is a really easy place to head with the family for a frills-free meal.

Juicy-O serves a decent breakfast, but certainly didn't exceed my expectations. On my first and only visit so far we arrived at opening to find their staff unprepared for the morning. I had heard so much about the free donuts they give you with your food, but they did not have them ready to go for us. It took at least 30 minutes before they came out and by then we were full from eating our other food. They also had issues with some of the coffee on the morning we went, so perhaps we didn't see them at their best. The food itself was on par with other breakfast places like this, but it wasn't very memorable. Even the donuts were just OK. I might give this place another shot someday, but I'm not in any hurry to return.

Warm donuts, on your table, right after you sit down. It's pretty much the greatest thing a restaurant like this could offer. Those donuts earn Juicy-O their third star, and have earned them my repeat business. The donuts could get five stars, but the rest of the food and the service don't come close to the quality of their donuts. I've been to this location a couple of times now (it's near my parents' house, so it's a likely brunch choice when I'm out in the burbs for a visit), and to the Rte 59 location once. I've had the same experience all three times I've dined there: First, I get a table with pretty much no wait, even on a weekend morning, and someone brings a pile of warm little donuts. My kid and I are supremely happy about this. Then I wait and wait and wait to see our server, order drinks that don't arrive (on two separate occasions my kid's milk hasn't made it to the table until I'm ready to ask for the check), then sit and thank my lucky stars for those little donuts, because it seems they're the only food I'm going to see that day. Wish for more. Food arrives, may or may not be what we ordered. No major screw ups, just minor mistakes that highlight inattention to details--an incorrect side, no syrup for pancakes, and seriously what does a girl have to do to get a cup of milk already? Trouble is, these mistakes go uncorrected because the actual server isn't the one who brings the food out, and so much time goes by before she reappears to check on us, we've given up on eating our pancakes with syrup or having a drink to go with them. The food itself is pretty good, but not amazing. The kind of food that you couldn't necessarily find something distinctly wrong with, but that isn't all that interesting or exciting either. Soup's pretty good, but everything else was kind of underseasoned. I love a fancy brunch as much as the next girl, maybe even more, but I have no complaint at all about an omelette or plate of biscuits and gravy if it's prepared well. Juicy-O needs to show their other menu items as much love as they show those little donuts! Oh, and speaking of omelettes, this is the correct way to spell that word, not with a damn apostrophe as it appears in great big letters on their window. Yeah, I'm splitting hairs here, but c'mon people, some attention to details!

Apparently the first time we tried this location it was a major fluke (or maybe it was this time that was the fluke?). Anyhow, my boyfriend and I were taking my nephew out for breakfast and had a groupon for Juicy-O's. The second we stepped in the door, I knew we should have just turned tail. It was a hot day outside. Like 100 degrees and muggy hot. Unfortunately, Juicy-O's was just about as hot inside. When we asked the waitress about it she said that the a/c was on and working fine... TIME OUT! Don't look me in the eyes and tell me that the a/c is working perfectly fine when you have sweat dripping from your hairline into the collar of your shirt. I felt like the Wicked Witch after Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her, minus the delicious cooling effect the water most likely would have had. I was melllllllting! And to top it off a different waitress on the other side of us was telling a table that the a/c wasn't working. Ugh. Another thing that was bothering me was the flies. I think at one point there were three flies on the back of my nephew's seat and I could see more buzzing around just trying to piss me off. The food was okay. It wasn't the best. It probably would have been better if I wasn't so ornery about the heat that was making my thighs stick to the seat.

I had the Groupon deal, and I was pretty scared after reading the Yelp reviews. Decided to give it a try with two tough critics (my kids). In a nutshell: I was impressed and I'd definitely come back. I get the feeling a lot of the negative reviews are because of a love of the restaurant that was in this space previously. Seriously folks, try this place again- it's great. Hostess was really friendly, was nice to my kids (a huge bonus), and we got seated right away in a booth. 10 seconds later a waitress appeared with coffee and a smile. She dropped off a bowl of complimentary homemade donuts which my kids devoured in under a minute. Overall no complaints whatsoever about the service. I ordered the corned beef hash skillet, my kids both had pancakes and bacon. The food came out in less than 10 minutes, and during the wait we enjoyed the fresh-squeezed juice. Food was good- the portions were ridiculously huge. I loved my hash- which I verified was homemade. Kids pancakes were good, but the bacon was sublime. Thick cut, smoky, juicy goodness :) We all enjoyed the food a lot, suffice to say. Without the Groupon the bill would have been $34 or something (pre-tip), which I agree is a bit high, until you remember the portions are so huge there's easily 2 meals in an order. I would suggest to management to introduce 1/2 sizes and charge less, but that's just me. Overall I thought this place was really good. Definitely up there with Butterfields and some of the other west suburban staples.

If you're comparing this place to Creme de la Crumb, then you're going to be disappointed. We tried out Juicy-O after arriving too late at Honey Jam cafe and not wanting to wait an hour to eat. The layout is the same Creme de la Crumb's, but they managed to wipe away any sense of upscale and dial up the cheesiness. The entire place is full of printed out colloquialisms, like the kind you might find on a t-shirt at a gas station. Our waitress was friendly, but it was impossible to get her attention and she hardly ever checked on us. My water glass came out filthy, and it took forever to get someone to get me a new one-and when I did get the waitress, she seemed confused as to why I'd want a new glass. My omelet was decent and my dining partner seemed to enjoy their meal as well; we were in no way interested in those little starter donuts that came out before the meal, aside from the calorie content ours didn't look fresh and warm as another review describes, they looked like they'd been sitting out all day. You don't have a ton of choices for brunch near the Will/DuPage border, and although Juicy-O is no Creme de la Crumb, I did enjoy it above Eggs Inc, which is down Weber Road. When its all said and done, I was sad that I'd forgotten about good ole Colonial on this particular visit. They're big enough not to usually have a huge wait, their food is great, and they spare you the over the top cheesy decor-if you have the option, you may want to head there instead.

There are two reasons we ever come here anymore: My son occasionally gets a hankering for nutella/banana pancakes and we often have 2-for-1 coupons. We have learned NEVER to pay full-price for anything at Juicy-O's. We would NEVER come here with the expectation of having a decent meal. As there was no school today, we decided to use our 2:1 coupon and come for brunch. It's sort of a game now for us to guess what they're going to mess up. This time the nutella/banana pancakes were cold (last time they left them under a heat lamp or something and the bananas had turned to mush). The waitress messed up part of my order. By that time, I was losing my appetite, so I told her not to bother fixing it. However, she wouldn't let it go and kept harassing me. At first she tried to blame me for the mistake, then when I recited our exact conversation verbatim she realized she had made a mistake. Then she tried to touch me, which I felt inappropriate. I asked her THREE times to just leave us alone and let us finish our meal, but she kept wanting to engage us in conversation. We know never to have any expectations of decent food or service when we come here. I truly believe that the staff and management have no idea how bad their restaurant truly is. This location should be a real winner because there is zero competition near here and the local residents have enough discretionary income to eat out regularly. The truly amazing aspect of all this is that Juicy-O's seems to be owned by or affiliated with Heaven-on-Seven restaurant, which is truly a fabulous place with excellent food and service. I'm guessing that someone at Heaven-on-Seven funds this place to provide work for a family member.

In order to appreciate this breakfast haven it would be best to go on a weekday. The staff is courteous, efficient, and made me feel comfortable. Both times I visited ,the front desk lady greeted me enthusiastically and led me to my table and waitress, as if they had been waiting for me. My waitress smiled and took my order quickly. The hundreds of funny wall plaques and complimentary little donuts fill time while the order was being made. (This is not fast food,...this is a restaurant) Though the donuts are great to eat, don't eat too many because when your food arrives it is abundant! More than I could eat either in fruit pancakes for breakfast or in the Cobb salad I ordered in my lunch visit a week later. You can literally split the food with someone and still be full. Really! Had one mistake when my Cobb salad came with egg(when i requested no egg). My waitress quickly went back to kitchen to get another one. No issues, no balking. When I went to pay the lady at the front, I shyly mentioned the egg thing but said it was not a big deal. She said she would write a note to the kitchen and said that next time I come in and order Cobb salad, she personally would notify the kitchen. You can't do better than that. I wasn't looking for a free lunch, just genuine customer service and I believe I got that at Juicy-O.

I came here with 2 other adults and one kid. The decor is pretty cheesy - picture frames filled with dot matrix-y printed pages of different cheesy sayings. But honestly, I don't give two shizzies about the decor if the food is good. But the food is just okay. Well, okay to meh. The best part of Juicy-O is the free, fresh mini-donuts that they bring to your table. I could tell the donuts that were brought to our table REALLY wanted to be warm, but they were kind of room temp. Minus. I ordered a frittata with spinach, bacon, and tomatoes all topped in asiago. That part was good. What was weird was the huge chunks of mystery white matter stuck under the frittata. They were huge - like an inch thick and 3-4 inches long! We all decided the white chunks were probably metled mozzarella, but it was weird nonetheless. My 4 year old got the kids pancake, bacon, and egg. The pancakes were huge, which was awesome because I got to eat some too. But his scrambled eggs looked kind of old and overcooked and I didn't make him eat any of them. I think the breakfast entrees for the other 2 adults were decent, nothing to write home about. So, honestly, besides the donut factor, this place doesn't have much going for it. I would rather go to Pomegranate or Pancake Cafe. Sorrry Juicy-o.

Great donuts, friendly staff and the food is pretty good for the price with generous amounts. Not sure about the restaurant layout, but I was there for the food and I was not disappointed.

I have dined here about five times. The location is ideal for me and that is why I kept coming back. The service is below average. The waitresses are overwhelmed and forget a lot. The food has always been average, the silverware is usually dirty. I would probably have fairly given it 2 stars, until my last visit, which knocked it down to one. When you cook bacon to the point that it is black (no kidding) and put it on a plate, and then serve it, you are an ____ fill in the blank. To amuse my family, I took a bite. It was so burned, it was like eating a jawbreaker. That was the final straw, I will not go back. The only reason the rating for this place stays around three is from the reviews over-rating it because of the free donuts. 6 little donut gems do not give the whole meal four stars kids! And trust me, you will get no more than 6.

After seeing some poor reviews and a bad experience my wife had here I was a little hesitant to try Juicy-O, but we decided to give it a try last week for brunh. We both ordered the Corned Beef Hash Skillet and both really enjoyed it. Food was good and service was good as well. Only downside was waiting a while for our check, but we weren't in any rush, so it really didn't bother us. We will definitely go back.

Leaving this review was the reason I joined Yelp. This was the first and only time that I've actually gotten up and walked out of a restaurant. Wish there were no stars on the ratings....oh well... One Saturday morning, my daughter and I stopped in with our buy-one-get-one- free coupon. We thought a nice breakfast would hit the spot before going to some garage sales. We got there at 8. Big parking lot. Didn't have any problems finding a spot. They weren't busy so we thought we'd be in and out. I've been here once before with no problems so I was so floored with my next experience that I'll never go back! We were greeted and seated by a hostess that had on a see-through white skirt. Lovely. Just want I wanted to see early in the morning--this gal's thong. Yep, a thong. I guess if I were a guy, I would have enjoyed this view, but I am not and I did not. Waitress was friendly, took our order and brought us the little gratis donuts. My daughter said they were good. I didn't eat them. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. For ONE HOUR. I finally told our server that we had to go and if our meal wasn't brought by 9, we were leaving. I absolutely lost it when we saw the large table seated after us eating and we STILL SAT THERE. She finally told us that our order (of quiche and oatmeal-which I'm sure the quiche was made ahead and just had to reheat & oatmeal takes a few minutes to heat) had gotten mixed up with someone else's. Our ticket was the next up. Nope. No food. I heard the lady sitting behind us complaining of her wait as well so I knew there was no "mix-up" . She was the only one at her table. They were just ridiculously s-l-o-w! As we were leaving, our server said that she had asked the manager to come over and explain what was going on and why the wait was so long. Apparently, he/she didn't think it necessary to do so. As we walked out, the server said the coffee and tea was comped. Umm, it better be comped -and then said that they would have comped the entire meal. Wish the manager would have gotten off his/her arse and spoke with us and told us they'd comp.........although, honestly, I was just so pissed off at this point, I don't think I could eat. The. Worst. Experience. Ever. I'll go to Egg Harbor or Butterfields. Not even the free coupon could get me to go back! Do yourself a favor. SKIP THIS PLACE.

Have eaten here multiple times in 2014 -- very good overall experience for late breakfast and lunch. Free tempting, fresh, warm mini-donuts for an appetizer! Hostess and wait service were friendly, polite, and accommodating each visit, even when very busy. Food was prompt, portions are huge, all tasty. At lunch, where else can you have soup, 8-oz loaded Angus burger with side choice of fresh fruit, fries or chips for under $10? Very big healthy chopped salad is excellent, too! Too bad, they are not open when I want a quick, casual dinner.

Fruit freezes are huge, but mostly all hard Ice, so it's impossible to not sit there chewin the whole meal. Worst, the raspberry and lemon flavors I ordered tasted like the snow cone syrups, very artificial. The lady got my order wrong but it was still edible so I didn't say anything to her. Potatoes were good, but I still think prefer McDonald's.

Donuts are great. I give this place two stars because the service is hit or miss. Most of the time it is a MISS. Broken donuts and donuts with no cinnamon or sugar on them whatsoever is the normal at this location. Service is always meh...At best.

free donuts. how could people possibly give 1 star reviews? it's funny one second you get to eat free donuts and then the next second you complain and whine about the restaurant - unfortunate age of entitlement in america. i enjoyed my breakfast at juicy-o. Mary, our waitress was very friendly and patient. she was knowledgeable and made good recommendations from what she liked on the menu to what's popular. while we were waiting for our order we got FREE DONUTS! it's delicious and did I mention free?! For our breakfast, we ordered the 'grilled vegetable frittata' and 'chicken, biscuits, and eggs' the frittata was enormous and delicious. the chicken with biscuits and gravy was amazing, i would order it again for sure. this restaurant reminded me of new orleans, there's silly sayings all over the wall, it was fun to read. what makes this breakfast place truly unique is the menu, it's extensive, you'll find items on the menu at juicy-o that's not anywhere else. the portions here are big, so the price to me is justified. i would recommend juicy-o for breakfast, it's different from crem de la crumb, you can't compare the two -- you know why? cause creme de la crumb is now creme de la closed. it's time for some of you haters to move on.. stay juicy my friends - yelp.com/biz_photos/juic… interior wall of framed one liners: yelp.com/biz_photos/juic… interior wall: yelp.com/biz_photos/juic… on the outside, this place says 'air conditioned' and 'free help' it's silly and random lol - yelp.com/biz_photos/juic… in god we trust: yelp.com/biz_photos/juic… chicken, biscuits and gravy, jimmy potatoes - yelp.com/biz_photos/juic… grilled vegetable frittata - yelp.com/biz_photos/juic…

I've been coming here since it opened. I'm not quite sure why, to be honest. The food isn't anything special. They give you free sugar donuts to chew on while you wait for your server to come around. So that's nice. Service is fine. Not outstanding. Slow at times. This place is DIRTY, however. I'm not sure if their dishwasher is also broken/working over its capacity, but on multiple occasions, I have had to request new silverware because it's got food debris on it. Not cool. The walls are covered in crappy looking posters with sayings that are intended to be humorous, but fall flat. If the food was outstanding, it wouldn't matter. As it stands, this is just another slightly annoying thing that leaves me perplexed. If I want a solid breakfast, I'll go to Pancake Cafe or Butterfield's from now on. I've given Juicy-O about 20 chances to win me back.

We used to come here for breakfast often. My son loves the donuts and they have a big selection. We won't be going back...they have now messed up my order 3 times across the last three times we have been. I ordered an egg white omelet each time (it's on the menu) and each time it came out with regular eggs or eggbeaters. By the time they get the right omelet out to me my family is finished eating. The waitress and hostess were not overly apologetic on any occasion. Hungry pregnant lady very unhappy with food and service.

This place is average at best. The doughnuts were good. Food quality was bad our server SUCKED!!!! and the young lady that takes your money has an extremely poor attitude. For the same money and better service I'm going to stick with eggs experience on 75th and rte 59.

I love a good Sunday morning breakfast!! We had a Groupon for this place and decided to come try it for the first time. It was very good, everything was fresh. There was thousands of framed cute pictures and sayings around the restaurant, good reading material while sitting there waiting! The one thing that seemed crazy expensive for their orange juice, $8.95 for 2!! It's not alcohol folks!? The potatoes were very good. I tasted my husband's sausage and that was very yummy!! I asked the waitress if they made homemade corned beef hash she said they did but I don't think it was homemade!? Yes- it was made from a can!? I love the little donuts which is complimentary before your meal!

O, Juicy-O! You are delicious-o. The parking lot was deceptively full when we arrived, but we had no trouble getting a table at around 10 am on a Saturday. A complimentary bowl of tiny, crisp, sugar-crusted donuts, still warm from the donut-making contraption, was brought to our table along with the menus. We made short work of them; they were scrumptious. I ordered the tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella frittata. It was delicious, with a pesto-like flavor, and as a bonus (maybe this isn't a bonus to everyone), the green color made me feel like I was in a Dr. Seuss book. The fresh mozzarella made it a liiiitle too moist, but that's the nature of the ingredients, I suppose. I had "Jimmy's potatoes" as a side; these are seasoned redskin potatoes with green onions. Tasty, but I preferred the traditional hash browns my fiancé ordered to go with his French toast. The menu is really big, with selections ranging from your basic sausage, eggs and toast to the slightly unconventional. Service was friendly and quick and the fresh-squeezed juices are tasty (I had strawberry-orange). They also have BUBBLE TEA, which I will definitely try next time.

I've been here three times. The first time it was really a knock out. Great service, the little gratis cinnamon sugar doughnuts were fresh and tasty, and the food was very nicely done. Second time? Service took a long time, the little doughnuts were stale, the portion size seemed to shrink, and the food was cold. Third time? I resolved never to come here again, just due to the fact that what seemed like a good restaurant was, in fact, very unreliable. Add that to a high price tag for breakfast and the obvious cleanliness issues -- dirty cups, silverware, etc. and you'll find you are better off going elsewhere.

Yes, the fresh, warm, free little donuts are good but that truly was the highlight. I had a salad and cream of chicken soup. Both were just mediocre. We also ordered the southwestern wrap which had decent flavor but was on the soggy side. The portions are large but the service was pretty bad. The server forgot the soup and the bread basket and never stopped by after we got our food to ask how it was. I would understand the poor service if they had been really busy but that wasn't the case.

I went here on Pancake Day when I was jonesin' for some rockin hotcakes. I wasn't super hungry, just wanted to get my fix. Success! I met my counterpart here and ordered a short stack. Luckily this ended up being the same size as a normal portion of pancakes for less the price, so I got these whopping huge pancakes and ordered a side of sausage links, which was more than substantial after seeing how big the "short stack" ended up being. The links weren't your typical burnt to shit links, these puppies were huge. My counterpart essentially got the same thing (Pigs in a blanket) just in different form and he got scrambled eggs which he said . He was amped on his breakfast for sure. Both of our portions were huge, which is always good when you're dining in Naperville and get your money's worth. We got good service and were satisfied with our food. We would likely go back if we wanted something fast and within the area. I'd have to order something completely different in order to really get a feel for this place. Pancakes are not necessarily the best way to judge a restaurant... So snag a stack O' hotcakes!

3 3/4-4 stars. I've noticed that people mention service as hit or miss. I have examples of both. I drove to this location around 2:30 PM hoping to get a menu. I did this knowing that the restaurant didn't close until 3:PM. So I walk up to the door and it was locked (again, this is around 2:30pm). The person at the counter gave me the evil eye as if I did something wrong. Now I was a bit perplexed. Now I've also worked at a restaurant and know places have rules as it relates to eating service (e.g., last lunch seating 15, 30 minutes prior to closing). Well no such sign was here. I was basically left outside looking for a friend. So I left thinking I would not return. A day later, I went back to get a menu. There were 2 women at the counter. A taller (around 5'8"-5'10") blond headed woman was quite nice and tried to answer my questions. What she wasn't able to answer she turned to the other person at the host station, Miss Evil Eye (brunette, around 5'2"- 5'4") from the day prior. She answered the question but really didn't seem interested. I could be wrong but that's how it came off to me. So finally, I come back and order a mix of breakfast and lunch a few days later. No free doughnuts w/ my order (my order was take out & it was about Noon when I showed up. So now harm, no foul). I was not only immediately greeted but I was also set with expectations that someone would be with me soon. I was a bit worried Miss Evil Eye would make her way out soon but not the case. Sure enough, a gentleman (I'm assuming a manager of some sort) came to take my order. For the first time in YEARS (I'd say at least 10 years), I ordered pancakes for me. I explained I had the option of 2, 3, or 4 stacks (I took the 3 stack). I forgot how good pancakes were. I picked up an open faced Mile High Meat Loaf sandwich for my friend and how well my friend liked it. He liked it very much but he also said that there was not need to make this a sandwich- just make it a plate instead. The order was out in pretty quick timing. As a whole, the latter visits made up for that initial visit. Someone might want to let Miss Evil Eye there are other places nearby and their seats may be filled thanks to her. The rest of the team gain almost 2 stars because of how professional they were. Fortunately, I am a person willing to give someone a fair chance to win or lose my business.

We used to go here all the time. Large menu selection, free warm donuts and close proximity. The last few times the service just hasn't been good. They have messed up our order the past few times and don't seen apologetic or concerned with customer service. Also the wait to take our order and then to receive food even during non busy times is just unacceptable for brunch food. I'm not ordering something complicated.

I have not been to the Naperville Juicy-O but I have been to the Darien/Hinsdale one and the Downers Grove/Lombard one and I have enjoyed the food each time - donuts and french toast. I do have to agree about the service though. These restaurants have not trained their staffs to be servers and that is too bad. Serving is very hard work and even harder if you haven't been trained properly.... But I love those freaking donuts so I will be back!

I wish it were still Creme de la Crumb, but oh well, such is life. Not sure why people hated it so much, but I liked it back then; when I was in high school alot of my classmates worked there. Anyway, i've been to the Juicy-O on Kingery and Hobson in Hinsdale, and that place was great, so I was expecting the same thing in Naperville, but not so. I had the yogurt parfait and coffee, and 40 minutes later my stomach was not feeling well... I think my friend enjoyed her ham and eggs dish but she didnt' finish it nor take it home, so maybe she didn't really like it either. Pass.... :/

I reviewed the Willowbrook location a couple months ago, but this review is much more positive. I ordered lunch, which was a bad idea, and we were blessed with one of the worst servers I have ever had. My husband and I are both former servers, so we tend to be lenient. At this visit to the Naperville location, I went with breakfast and ordered the corned beef omelet. It was the fluffiest omelet I've had in awhile. Came with a generous portion of potatoes and 2 massive pancakes. Each table also gets free donuts - who can complain? I would definitely return and order off the breakfast menu every time.

I was not a huge fan of Juicy-O's predecessor (Creme de la Crumb), and this place is virtually no improvement. I had high hopes too but was let down almost immediately. My husband and I went there on a Saturday around noon; there was a surprising number of empty tables. Despite the lack of a bustling lunch crowd, the service was completely lackluster. Our server seemed annoyed by having to wait on another table (I don't know if hungover was the right word to describe her...) and even more annoyed because I kept asking her to come back - it's an extensive menu, I hadn't been there before, and I needed a few minutes. With regard to the tiny "fresh" donuts - we sat by the Donut Robot machine and could see them being made (it was pretty neat, mostly achieved without human interaction) - fresher donuts would have been appreciated ... ours were tossed into a bowl, and were cold and kind of oily. Dunkin' Donuts is right down the strip mall, I could have gotten better there. I asked our charming server for water without lemon (they have Pepsi products and I'm not a fan) - I thought briefly that I was in "Opposites World" because instead of water WITHOUT lemon, she brought me a glass of water with quite possibly the largest wedge of lemon she could find. Super. While there were many delicious-sounding options on the menu, I stuck with my breakfast usual - scrambled eggs, potatoes, turkey sausage and toast. The eggs were standard causal dining scrambled eggs - basically a flat sponge of eggs. This is fine, I didn't expect anything special here. The potatoes were the best part of the plate - they were spicy, texturally a little creamy with nice seasoning. The turkey sausage could have been pork for all I know, nothing remarkable about it. The wheat toast was great, some kind of multi grain bread. All told, it was a fairly pedestrian breakfast. My husband ordered a patty melt, medium rare. It was medium well and came with some average-looking fries. My biggest problem with this place isn't the ordinary food - it was the service. Please try harder - this place has great potential, lots of parking, big menu - but the service will kill it.

This is Juicy-O's 3rd location. The other two are in Downers and Willowbrook. Juicy-O has replaced Creme de la Crumb, and after two visits, I'm inclined to call it a *modest* upgrade. To their credit, the selection is vast. The downside of course, is that you're sitting there with something approaching stress and/or confusion as you try to decide between what appears to be hundreds of choices. Neat book on this topic of "too much choice" called "the Paradox of Choice". But, ahem, this is a breakfast review. Right. So... maybe it's the two entrees I've had so far, but I think that Juicy-O's food is slightly fresher than its predecessor. That said, they don't come anywhere near the diversity and freshness at our favorite local breakfast place, Egg Harbor Cafe. Some friends told us they had a very dirty table and unacceptably dirty plates and coffee cups. We haven't seen that ourselves, but I've no reason to doubt them. In short, this place is better than The Big Apple, but not quite as good as Egg Harbor. As such, it's priced between those two. The fresh complimentary donuts earn them their 3rd star. What can I say... I'm easy.

Awesome place. My girlfriend and I always come in for breakfast and we love it every time! The service is always fantastic and very quick, and the atmosphere is very pleasant and inviting. Hands down best breakfast in town, you can pick almost anything on the menu and you can't go wrong! Cant say enough good things about juicy o!

I love going to this place! My favorite thing is the breakfast parfait, it's full of delicious fruit and their granola is really yummy. I get this almost every time I come here, which is pretty often. Otherwise I have gotten their sweet potato skillet and their corned beef hash skillet. Both were really good! Their potatoes are delicious and I always order them extra crispy. As for lunch, I have gotten their chicken salad, which was very good. The chicken wasn't dry and there were grapes in it which i love. Their fries are really crispy, and my mom often goes here just because she is craving them. I think that their signs are cute and funny, and their service is normally very good! Their donuts are a nice little treat, and their cinnamon roll is even better! I would definitely recommend this place. It's really delicious and I don't understand why it is so lowly rated. I can kind of understand about the pricing, but it's still relatively reasonable compared to other breakfast places. The service, for me, has never been bad, and the food is always good. I would come back in a heart beat. This is one of the places I crave when I'm away at school!

We recently ate at Juicy O for Mother's Day. Had a group of ten and they took a reservation, which was great. A few days before Mother's Day, I even pushed up the reservation a half an hour earlier...even better...or so I thought. When we sat down we immediately felt rushed to order. We did so since we knew they were busy. However, our server told us four times that she hates to rush but there was a party of 13 waiting. Here's a hint for next Mother's Day, Juicy O...schedule more than 45 minutes before reservations when you have a larger party. We were in and out in less than an hour. An extra 15 minutes cushion would have made a huge difference in our overall experience. Food was average to good. Even the normally yummy free donuts when you are seated were dry and lacked flavor. A sign of bad things to come. I was disappointed this time. My husband and I had breakfast there just two weeks earlier and the service and food were great. Not so lucky this time. If the service wasn't so bad, I would have given them an extra few stars.

A friend took me here for Sunday breakfast, raving about the little donuts they give you. Because I'm a sucker for donuts, I was more than happy to go along with this. The donuts didn't disappoint. Nor did the service -- though it was fairly busy (as many breakfast places are at 9:30 on a Sunday morning), the servers were attentive and friendly. I ordered the Texas breakfast -- chicken fried steak on a biscuit, gravy, with three eggs and potatoes. The food was good -- not great -- and there was a lot of it. For $10, though, I might have expected that the size of the meal would have meant a bigger steak -- instead, it was a smaller steak to go along with the three eggs and a lot of potatoes. The next time I'm in the area, I'd probably eat here again, but I would probably order something else.

We had potato pancakes, sausage/sausage gravy & a cheeseburger and fries. The potato pancakes tasted like they had chinese 5-spice powder, the sausage was smoked kielbasa and not breakfast sausage, and the sausage gravy was sweet. The cheeseburger tasted like something out of a lunchroom cafeteria and the fries were blanched but not fully cooked. Even though our waitress was great, it took forever to get our food. The parking lot is not easy to get around in unless you are driving a compact car. The little donuts they serve with your drinks are quite good, just not enough to bring us back.

It's kinda like Ed Debevics for breakfast. Lot's of funny stuff on the walls, kinda noisy, friendly (but not edgy) servers. It's a fun atmosphere. They promote "Large Fluffy Omelettes" and I can vouch that my ham and cheese omelette was both large and fluffy. I like baked omelettes and this was a good one. I chose pancakes instead of toast and was not disappointed. Very good, big, buttermilk pancakes. Nothing special, but better than average. It appears all breakfasts are served with "Jimmy's Potatoes", pan-fried skin-on red potato chunks, seasoned and mixed with green onions. I would have much preferred fresh crisp hash browns, but these were OK. My overall first impressions: Food is good, portions are generous, prices are fair, service is fine, atmosphere is a hoot. I like the place.

I have been to here a few times and have always been very happy. I love the little donuts. Those donuts will be a smile on your face and a good feeling in your belly. I have had a skillet here which was great. A very good balance of meat and sausages and what not. My only complaint is the juice. It seems like its 5,000.00 doll hairs for a glass of oj. I know it is good here, but does it have good flakes in it? All in all though, a great place for breakfast. Especially after a night of drinking.

I had never eaten here before....so I came with an open mind. I figured it specializes in breakfast food, so my husband and I both ordered omelets ( Denver and grilled vegetables). Hate to be harsh-----but they were just so mediocre. We were sorely disappointed. These omelets were one of the toughest I have ever had anywhere-----way overcooked. Any decent cook should know this-----eggs are not to be overcooked, or they will be tough and dry. If this place is to sell breakfast their cooks need to learn to cook better egg dishes. Portions are huge but I would rather have quality over quantity any day. I would rather have a tender, perfectly cooked omelet that I couldn't get enough of, than some dried-up huge lump that I just could not force myself to finish.

We were big fans of Creme de la Crumb and sorry to see it close shop. But we're big fans of the Juicy O in Lombard on Butterfield and were hopeful when we saw this was going to replace Creme de la Crumb. Unfortunately, our visits have been a mixed bag. The servers are generally friendly, but quality of service can vary over a wide spectrum from excellent to frustrating, very hit or miss. We have had instances of impeccable service to occasions where incorrect orders took forever to correct. The food is generally good. The free starter donuts are always a hit, as they are fresh, warm and delicious. My wife likes the Breakfast Sliders, but usually swaps out the Jimmy's Potatoes for hash browns on anything she orders. I've enjoyed most everything I've ordered (skillets & scramblers), but did not like the biscuits and gravy. The pancakes at Juicy O are "meh". They are a tad on the dry side. The kids menu has decent choices. Our son usually goes back and forth between the Mickey pancakes and egg plus sausage. Juicy O usually has coupons in the mailers, so keep an eye out for it.

Previously Creme de la Crumb, Juicy-O is a significant upgrade. Decor is not much to look at, average pancake house feel. Dozens of framed quotes and sayings offer entertainment (I think a lot of them are LOL funny, but my humor is a little strange). Purely a brunch place, closes at 3pm, which is a bummer because I often like to sit a while. I'm using their free wifi right now, which is a plus. Your meal starts with a bowl of free freshly made mini donuts. Large drink selection, including espresso beverages, a variety of freshly squeezed juices and smoothies. Extensive menu with nearly any breakfast option you could desire (though not much I would consider too unique) and a decent lunch selection as well. I have had a tomato, basil, mozzarella scrambler and a chorizo skillet, both of which were very good...better than the average pancake house. Prices are very reasonable, both of my meals being in the $8 range.

I don't get the negative reviews. Free donuts, good coffee and a tasty and diverse menu sounds pretty good. We've been a couple of times for a variety of breakfast dishes and have enjoyed them all. Corned beef hash, biscuits and gravy, omlettes, crispy bacon, it's all been what we were looking for, 1/2 mile from our house.

Hey I liked it. Reasonable price for breakfast. Huge selection on menu. Service was very good, however, not too many folks there on Tuesday morning but I could imagine Sat and Sun morn's packed. If you like to read quote's the walls are full of them, some are actually funny. Atmosphere is ok, not flashy but for the price I don't need a lot of gold on the walls. Friendly place, pay as you leave at front. Food prepared as you ordered, and plenty of it. Try it out (during the week).

I was thrilled to learn that Juicy-O opened another location in Naperville. I had been to the location in Downers Grove a bunch of times and everything was great there. When we sat down, we shortly were treated to those famous Juicy-O doughnuts that everyone raves about. However, the service kind of went downhill from there. The waitress asked what we would like to drink, and my friend requested a mimosa. The waitress kind of gave her a funny look and asked what a mimosa was. While we were surprised at her lack of knowledge of such a popular breakfast drink, we were even more surprised when she insulted us by basically calling us alcoholics when we explained to her what one was. She further went on to explain that she had worked at several breakfast restaurants and had never heard of a mimosa before. So we settled for their smoothies, which we didn't realize were practically a meal by themselves. We could have very well split one smoothie between the two of us and then we wouldn't have been nearly full by the time our orders came. I ordered the lemony raspberry crepes which were excellent. They had this wonderful lemon custard paired with a delicious raspberry sauce. So the food was really good, but the service left a lot to be desired - hopefully it gets better.

This is bar-none the best breakfast place in Naperville. They have a huge selection of both breakfast and lunch items so you can always go in and try something different. I have come here three separate times and left very satisfied both a culinary and financial sense. The free doughnuts are delicious, as are the Jimmy's potatoes. It is a lot of food for the money, but quality does not negatively impact quantity. My personal favorite item is the pesto omelet with mozzarella and tomato. It is very fluffy, juicy, and uniquely flavorful. If you somehow have room, the shakes are awesome. I've tried both the chocolate peanut butter and triple antioxidant with cream and they were fantastic. The servers are very friendly and welcoming to my small children. This is one of he few restaurants where I feel truly welcome. The humorous signs plastered all over the walls make for a good laugh while waiting for the food to come too!

Went today with a friend for the first time. Yummy warm donuts! I ordered the eggs, over easy, and they were just right - not over cooked or runny. The pancakes were huge. I would have given 5-stars except the service could have been a little more attentive. Example - more coffee refills, and it wasn't hot. Plus we didn't know if they refill the donuts too? In any case, I'll go back again.

If I could give this place zero stars, I'd feel like it was more appropriate. I went through 4 coffee mugs before the annoyed server just poured coffee in a mug and rudely handed it to me. Undrinkable. I had to search other tables for a clean fork as there was yellow stuff between the prongs of the one I was given. Server didn't refill water, or check on my party. When food finally arrived there was a hair in my potatoes. At about $10 a plate, I'd be better off going to somewhere that serves much higher quality breakfast food for the same price, Butterfield's it is!

If you like lukewarm grits... If you like to ask your server for things twice each time, then grab a busser to get you more coffee, water, or Tabasco... If you like to look at your server's tummy and crappy tattoos... If you like to avoid all eye contact or friendliness.... Then this place is for you. My experience was bad enough to make me take the time to post my first ever review.

Not impressed in the food. Creme De La crumb was awesome. I hope this would be the same. Server deleted our order after waiting 20 mins..my daughters pancakes were burnt and food was bland. The only thing I did like were the potatoes. Will not go again!

This review is for lunch only. Breakfast is worth two/three stars (usually). Went there with my Mom for lunch after a round of Doctors appointments. We had a coupon for lunch, which we had never tried there, and figured we would give it a shot. Mom had the hot roast beef, I had the "mile high" meatloaf. We ordered side salads and the entrees came with soup. The salads arrived after quite a wait, and were more tired looking than the server. Mom had black wilted yuck at the bottom of hers, and mine was not much better. The blue cheese dressing was good, with good chunks of blue cheese. The lentil soup was so-so. The sandwiches arrived and while the portions were large, that was about all they had going for them. Both were smothered in an identical gravy that was completely tasteless. The meatloaf was bland - as in, I think it was plain ground beef with white bread mixed as a binder, and that's it - not even a healthy dose of salt and pepper could redeem it, and the "crispy onions" were burned. The bread was gummy underneath, and just served to emphasize how flat the sandwich was. The redskin mashed potatoes were paste with bits of skin mixed in. The roast beef was stringy and tasteless as well, with the same presentation and sides as the meatloaf. With the addition of coffee and a coke the bill came to a little over $32 for two people for lunch - thank heavens for coupons! The entree salads looked pretty good, and I have had a few breakfast omelets there that were good enough to leave me willing to go there for lunch. The coffee and mini-donuts are both really good (as mentioned in other reviews). Unfortunately the lunch we had there left a bad enough taste where we will not be returning any time soon. There are much better (and cheaper) places to go. Juicy O's is off our list.

The parking lot was packed, hard to find a space. In my mind I was already choking down an egg mc muffin because the wait was an hour long. Nope we walked right in and was seated in a booth by a very friendly staff. We got coffee and doughnuts brought to our table right away as we looked over the menu. I don't think there is anything missing from the menu. If there is a breakfast item it most likely is served here. I had sausage and potato pancakes, and they were good but different. My eggs were cooked perfectly and weren't greasy. My wife had scrambled eggs and toast. Each slice of toast was the size of a loaf of bread. Everything was good, fast, and friendly. That is all you can ask for at a breakfast joint like this. Won't blow your mind, but will get you fed.

what a disappointing visit. should of been a red flag when no customers were in the restaurant from 7:30-8 am on a sunday morning. skillet was terrible! potatoes were large boiled pieces that weren't browned on the grill. maybe a half piece of finely minced undercooked bacon and maybe a teaspoon of finely minced mushrooms. had asked for no green peppers and crispy bacon and a well done english muffin. of course it came out with the peppers in it. had asked for the muffin to be toasted again and mary brought me a new barely toasted muffin. onions were over powering. coffee wasn't very hot and tasted old. I won't be back! overpriced at $13 for crap. how hard is it to screw up breakfast? the free little donuts weren't anything special.

I absolutely adored the hostess, a young girl, who was very friendly. When I ordered scrambled eggs with broccoli, I got all stems. Fiberous, inedible stems. This tells me that they're using frozen vegetables, which is fine, but get florets, for God's sakes. My boyfriend ordered the salmon/cream cheese platter which came with fresh fruit. The fruit tasted like the fish. My daughter liked her meal so I'll give it two stars.

Excellent prices for food and you get large portion sizes. The donuts are awesome! Sometimes the food can taste bland but for the most part it is pretty good. I believe they are only open for breakfast and lunch but don't quote me on that. They also have occasional groupon deals such as $7 for $15 worth of food. Staff is friendly and the quotes on the wall are hilarious!

At the risk of sounding overdramatic, I am practically physically ill over the comments that this place is an "upgrade" to the place that used to occupy this space, Creme de la Crumb. What... the .... hell? Creme de la Crumb was AMAZING. It is the reason I joined Yelp, and that's not a joke. I was a little sad to go here for breakfast yesterday, and a LOT sad once I had "eaten" my food. Ugh. The little donuts are good but not good enough to make up for the shitty food. The menu is extensive and impressive but the food was a mess. My sister and I both got egg skillets and there were just salty nightmares. I ordered the Denver skillet and the ham was GROUND UP HAM. Am I a dog? Who orders something with ham at breakfast and expects ground up ham? Disgusting. My mom ordered the turkey and mashed potatoes and the potatoes seriously tasted like paper mache. I just can't. Super disappointing. I miss Creme de la Crumb so much. It was seriously the best.

My girlfriend and I recently had breakfast here for the first time. The experience started out with very tasty fresh donuts! The menu has a very wide variety of choices - we both enjoyed our meals, but with so many choices we are anxious to find something on the menu that we like better. I had an omlette that was very filling and she had a panini. Overall, we thought the food was really good and fresh tasting - the bread really stood out and I believe it was made fresh on site. The coffee seemed a little weak to me, next time I will try the fresh orange or grapefruit juice.

This past Sunday the family rolled out of bed and was inspired by a Food Network show to venture too The Machine Shed in Rockford for their famous breakfast (in particular the cinnamon rolls). However, upon giving them a call for directions, I learned we were too late in the day. The hour drive would have put us past their breakfast hours. Oh well, looks like we're staying in Naperville! My wife didn't want to hit any of the regular spots (Egg Harbor, Pancake Cafe, Colonial, etc.) So, off too Yelp I go! Hmmm, Juicy-O? Seems interesting. Lets try it. When we arrived, the parking lot was pretty full. It was around 11am. Luckily, there was one open table left. The interior is very open and airy. It is a bit noisy, but I actually like that in a breakfast place. I want to wake up, not fall back asleep. The funny signs were a nice distraction. The server we had was efficient and friendly. Her service was prompt and we never had to wait for refills etc... Now, on too the food! The little homemade donuts they bring to the table are awesome. They totally reminded me of the donuts my mom made when I was little. No kidding. Cake style but light and airy as opposed to the dense stuff you typically get around Chicago. My son ordered the cinnamon roll. It was very large but not made in a the traditional style. The presentation of the icing could have been better. In fact, it was kinda ugly. However, he ate about a third of it and deemed it as "ok". He is a bit of a cinnamon roll snob so take it for what it is. My wife ordered a spinach scramble thingy. She really liked it. I had the Country Fried Steak and Eggs breakfast. I think it was called the Texas breakfast. It was solid. Of course, it doesn't match up to what I get back in TX, but nothing up here does. However, the gravy was good, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the biscuits were some of the better one's to be found in the area. The highlight of the meal was the potatoes they served. As mentioned in other reviews, these are skin on red potatoes, cooked with onions. However, ours were not with green onions (ala Egg Harbors sub-par potatoes). These were done the proper way with the red inions cooked to the point of caramelization and even a bit of crispness. There was also a distinct garlic taste. These were awesome! usually, I prefer the shredded hash browns but I would come back to just have these potatoes. They remind me a little of an Indian potato dish my co-worker made at our last Diwali potluck. In summary, a very nice addition to the breakfast scene. I think it can easily be in the mix for the best in Naperville. I have yet to find a place here that nails all the things I want in a breakfast joint. Rather, there are elements to be found at each of my current 5 favorites (in no particular order): Egg Harbor Pancake Cafe Juicy-O El Burrito Loco Colonial Cafe

I took my son here this week because he's home for spring break and I thought we'd have a nice mom/son breakfast. I have been to the Lombard Juicy O with a friend and loved it. On the way there, I told my son they offer complimentary donuts. We were greeted at the door and seated quickly. The host (whom I noticed waiting on a table next to us later) was pleasant. We looked at the menus he gave us while waiting for the waitress to come by. And waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. We saw people come in after us who were seated and immediately given complimentary donuts by the host who looked like he was doing double duty. None of the waitresses ever came by and gave us any complimentary donuts or even offered us a cup of coffee or greeted us. We still waited for our waitress to show up. Finally, after about 15 minutes, an ambivalent waitress stopped at our table, didn't bother to greet us and asked us what we wanted to drink. My son ordered bubble tea and I ordered a cup of coffee. Sometime later, a different waitress who seemed very busy asked us if we had ordered yet. At least this second waitress seemed to make an effort to be cordial. I told her that we had ordered our drinks but not our food. She started to take our food order. Then the first waitress came back while the second one was there and looked annoyed. A while later, the second waitress brought my son's bubble tea but informed us that they were out of the things to make the bubble tea, so she gave him something that looked like a smoothie. That was a little disappointing. Bubble tea is not a smoothie. I can't explain it unless you've ever had bubble tea before. That's the whole fun of it. They had a huge sign on the wall describing the wide variety of bubble teas they carried, and they ran out of the bubbles for it? Anyway, as far as food, my son ordered a wrap and I ordered scrambled eggs with crispy bacon. After another long wait, our food arrived, this time silently delivered by a busboy. My scrambled eggs were runny, there were a couple of spoonfuls of dried out fried potatoes on my plate, and the bacon that I ordered crispy was half raw. My son said his wrap was okay. Not once did anyone come by to ask how everything was so that I could return my bacon to have it cooked longer. No one came by once to see if my coffee needed replenishing or if there was anything else that we needed. We were glad to finally get our bill so that we could leave. For around $8 for some bacon and eggs, I would expect a little more quality, organization and service. Oh, I just thought of one other positive thing. We did enjoy reading the cute framed quotes on the walls in between the L-O-N-G periods of waiting for someone to show up at our table.

Love going out to breakfast/brunch during the summer. My husband and I tried Juicy-O and were very pleased. It is the winner of our breakfast restaurant excursions this summer. The menu is so vast and has offerings that are not the usual breakfast fare that you see at every other pancake house. We will be going back many times to the Naperville location to try other things. I am surprised by all the negative reviews about service- they have to be written by the competition or by people in a bad mood. Our waitress was very attentive and our coffee cups were kept filled even though she was busy. She patiently waited while we made our selections and helped us by making recommendations. Looking around I saw each table getting the same kind of attentive service. If you want to try something out of the ordinary than this is the place for you.

We bought a groupon and live locally so we figured that we would give it a go. There was a wait when we got there but after a few minutes we were seated, so that was nice. It was HOT inside, the sign on the window said air conditioned but it wasn't were we were sitting. The waitress was really nice, but that did not make up for the three times that she forgot about us. Free doughnuts were nice (could of eaten way more but they were free). I got the pecan pancakes and my wife got the lox and bagel tower thingy. The pancakes were huge (but just seemed to be pancakes with a few pecans sprinkled over them). The bagel and lox we supposed were good (but turned out not to be our cup of tea, not Juicy O's fault). Over all we were there for almost two hours (not eating for most of the time!) The waitress said it was groupon day, but the service was really SLOW! Overall, it was way over priced, even with the groupon. I would recommend that if you go and buy some of the doughnuts to go and skip everything else.
