I have been in the service industry and a bartender for over 7 years. Never have I ever been out right disrespected from someone as I did to whoever bartended Wednesday night. My friends and I came in to get a night cap drink before we went home and i have never been in the bar before and I bartend downtown. She told me my friend needs to get out because he's "underage". Well he was definitely 24 just from Indiana instead of Illinois. If your bartender could actually have a brain next time and look at birthdays she would know. Then she grabbed my drink (in a foam cup = disgusting) and gave me back my money so I can leave. She's lucky I didn't throw the drink in her face, because she was being the definition of a B**ch.

Horrible service from the bartender. Who spent most of her time on her cell phone behind the counter. Waited 15 minutes for a refill on a drink with no clue from the bartender. We ended up leaving. Of course there was no tip. Seems like there were only a select few people being served by this bartender.

The best Bar in Down Town Morris, after a run on my bike and disappointment with the other bars I stopped at I paid a visit here and ended up stay for quite some time the bartenders whee great as well as the selection and prices. The other patrons is what made this visit fun, a good bar draws in good people and this place has that down.

Ebbey's is one of those home town bars that most people enjoy going to after work, for a sporting event, for lunch, or to just have a quick beer. The place is known for it's regulars and has photos along the walls displaying most of them having a great time. The service is good and the owner is a good guy. The bartender on Wednesday nights deserves special recognition ($1 domestic bottle night), as she works hard to remember what everyone likes to drink. Often, people will come in, even after a long time, and she'll already have that person's beer of choice in hand. Weekends can get a bit packed and sometimes it is impossible to make your way through the crowd of people: groups congregating in the narrow walk way between the tables and the bar. The music will get excessively loud on the weekends, making conversation difficult, but it does often encourage dancing on the small area in the back (pool table or Foosball table by day). Ebbey's is easily one of the most frequented bars during the annual Corn Fest and I have personally seen a fight or two within the crowds. A burger and a couple of beers at lunch time or Wednesday nights are excellent times to visit this bar.

Stopped after dropping our boat at Bedford marine .Had a hamburger and fries and beer .Burger lady was nice enough to stay open after the kitchen closing time Great Burger super moist and tasty Bartender was nice and friendly.Nice older local bar
