Gosh I love these ladies
Best donuts in the QC. The ladies are extremely friendly
Stopped by Saturday at 10am. Plenty of variety. Specialty items were delicious. Glazed sourdough "old fashioned" are spot-on. Very friendly service and good humor. They didn't seem to know what Yelp was. According to the staff they supply to lots of places around town each day two trucks of doughnuts. Without advertising. Sounds right to me because these doughnuts speak for themselves! Donuts and donut holes and bear claws. Butter milk bars are their specialty, they are like Little Debbie Dunkin Sticks. Very good. Donut box did not contain bobcat. Would buy again.

This place is a gem! Every time I drive in from chicago I make sure to stop in here.... Chicken tortilla soup, the mother load sandwich and the roast beef sandwich are wonderful! Very fresh and delicious!
This place is great and like I said in a previous review, "4 for you Glen Coco." I've been here a little too much, but come on wouldn't you? I've been going around their menu and I'll say their sandwiches are great, their cranberry chicken salad is ermagersh gerd (oh my gosh good), and their coffee is good! I've tried their BLT, Turkey Club, and Mediterranean sandwiches all of which were great. I know I can make my own sandwiches, but something about someone else making them, taste better. Maybe I'm weird, whatever.
Just had them for the first time while at an event where Cup A Joe sack lunches (sandwich, pickle, chips, and a cookie) were served. The sandwich was a turkey club and it was delicious! I could have done with the sprouts but I will definitely return for lunch with family!

What a gem in the quad cities! I used to drive to Chicago for real Mexican food but I see I no longer have to do that. In my prior life I probably was of Hispanic heritage. I'm a big foodie and food pretty much gets me excited when I find something that is great. This "hole in the wall" local place and like no other. It's attached to a grocery store. I got 5 tacos: ground beef, steak, chorizo. Steak was the best. 3 tacos could have sufficed but I like to go big! $1 tacos on Fridays!!Cheap and outstanding. They have specials everyday. I uploaded pictures to yelp. All other Mexican places in the Qc should be ashamed and take notes. Update. Pastor and carnitas best in the world
An Hispanic person in the area told me that El Mexicano was his favorite Mexican restaurant because it reminded him of his mother's home cooking. That was all I needed to try it out on my quest to find my favorite Mexican food in the Quad Cities. My friend's favorite Mexican food is carnitas (pork tacos), so she tries them at every Mexican restaurant we visit (and we've been to many in the Quad Cities). These were her favorite. The waitress gave her the option of getting the meat just by itself or also having it mixed with pork fat--the traditional way. I ordered the largas dinner, which included two largas, beans and rice. Largas are essentially large tostadas but instead of fried tortillas they feature unfried thick homemade flour tortillas, refried beans, meat (optional), lettuce and Mexican cheese. I chose steak (asada) and seasoned pork (al pastor) for my meat toppings. I favored the pork, but both were delicious. Our meals were just $6 each, portion sizes were generous, and each order comes with a free cup of noodle soup. The food arrived quickly, too. El Mexicano offers a very relaxed atmosphere and features a big screen television where you can watch Spanish-language TV while you eat. The best, most authentic and least expensive Mexican restaurant in the Quad Cities. Salud!
Easily the best Mexican food I have ever had. Even better than the food I had when I was in Mexico! The prices are insanely good as well. It is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the Quad cities.

Great Asian cruise. The restaurant is cozy so be prepared to be close in quarters.
My boyfriend and I eat here FAR too often, but it never seems like we can go often ENOUGH! BEST BEST BEST Asian fusion in the QC. I love all of their drinks, everything I've eaten here has been the best, and the wait staff.. OH MY the wait staff is almost our most favorite part. We even have two favorite waitresses that have grown to recognize us and greet/send us with the most genuine smiles and jokes. :) We'll soon be moving out of state and we both agree that it's going to be hard to find an Asian food place we love as much as this one. I wish I knew the name of our favorite servers so that we could praise them here too!
Great restaurant! One of my favorite restaurants in the Quad Cities. They have the same owners as Exotic Thai. This restaurant is an Asian fusion of Thai, and Vietnamese food. They have noodle bowls, curries, and Pho. Personally, I think the pho is the best in town. I also would recommend the appetizers, the lettuce wrap, and the fresh spring rolls.

I absolutely love this place! Their tacos are amazing!!! The staff is great. I enjoy going here with friends. Especially on taco Tuesday. If you ever feel like grabbing some authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go.
hehehe. Prices are good. Service is great. Food is average. Don't get me wrong here. I have easily dined at both Adolph locations, no exaggeration, over 50 times combined. Taco Tuesday?--you can't beat it. Some days you crave it like crazy. Here is the thing though, when I began to explore the rest of their menu, I started to realize that it isn't that great. It isn't bad, by any means, but it isn't great. In case you're wondering what "style" of Mexican food it is. It is definitely heavily Americanized. Everything is served with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Dinner plates are smothered in cheese. Not a whole lot of authentic options.(lengua, tripas, sesos, etc.) Again, not bad AT ALL. But I can think of, quite literally, 10 places within 2-3 miles that serve better tasting and more authentic Mexican food.
Adolph's is to Mexican cuisine what Happy Joe's is to Pizza. We all know they aren't the real deal. But you know what? On certain occasions that's just fine with this relocated local. It is what it is. In the case of Adolph's, somewhat Americanized Mexican Food that has somehow managed to retain the highest level of quality and consistency for longer than I have inhibited this god forsaken mud ball we call earth. A taco I eat today is as pleasurable as the first one I ate as a child with my parents when Adolph's was in downtown Moline in the 1960's or an order or three I consumed at the 23rd Avenue outpost after cutting classes from MHS and hitting a bowl of Acapulco Gold in my '67 Camaro on any number of Indian summer afternoons in the late 1970's. Yes, change is good. Yes, authentic is good. Yes, pig ear and beef tongue and other tasty bits (yet once born of availability/necessity) du jour tacos are good. But all I can say is that Adolph's must be doing something right in bringing it for fifty plus years. Delicious local comfort food and a taste of home. Sometimes that's all you need. Carry on Perez family, carry on.

I was in the QC area for a week on vacation with my husband and we were in the mood for chinese food this restaurant popped up when I googled it and we chose to try it. We ordered online which was great and when we went to go pick it up we found out it was actually in the South Park Mall, nowhere does it say that which I was surprised. But we found and I ordered ChowMein veggie and veggie fried rice. It was decent had it for left overs the next day for lunch. I am very picky about my food and I only eat chinese from one place TONGS Tiki hut in Villa Park. But I tried it and it was good. It is in the food court so if you are not from the area you know where to go.
There broccoli chicken is the best chinese food i've ever had! I even have people who hate chinese try it and still say its good!
My favorite Chinese restaurant. Good value, food is hot and fresh, quick service. Staff isn't super bubbly, but that's okay, their food is great!
