Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

I've been coming here on and off for years. This particular Pizza Hut just seems to be getting worse. Placed my order online today which they said would be ready in 15 minutes. After 15 minutes I leave and get there to find that apparently there had been some type of miscommunication during a surge of orders (or whatever excuse I was given) and had to wait 20 minutes for them to make a new pizza (I ordered a medium, but they made it a large for me at no extra cost for the delay). There were a few other people waiting for orders that had been delayed as well. Now I really didn't mind waiting since mistakes do happen, and even though I didn't have a favorable view of this Pizza Hut going in. But the behavior of the staff while I waited I felt was inappropriate. Not swearing, not yelling, and not walking away from customers with no warning while still talking shouldn't be too difficult. It also seemed like there were only 3 people actually working. This franchise has needed some work for awhile in terms of quality staff, professionalism and training.

This Pizza Hut needs a complete overhaul when it comes to the employees! Rude, unprofessional, and immature are some adjectives I would use to describe the workers. Corporate, please send these people to some customer service training sessions!!

Everytime I place an order it never comes on time, it's cold, and the delivery driver cheated my daughter (9yearold) out of $4 and played his music extremely to loud. I hate ordering here but my daughter wanted pizza hut.

This place is gradually declining. Each time I order the service gets worse. Took two hours...yes two hours to get my order delivered and when I called after the first hour they said it was just leaving. I live not even 5 minutes away. It is sad because this is one of the few places in our area that is still hanging in there. at this rate it will only be a matter of time before their doors close.

Absolutely AWFUL. If I could give this location no stars at all, I would. I have tried giving this place a chance over the years. It has always left me disappointed. However, after my last visit, I'm done trying. Don't dine in here and expect a pleasant experience, even though I will say that the decor and restaurant set up itself is nice. My fiance and I came in here to dine one weekday evening. We were the only people in the place. I'm sure they had phone orders, but that's beside the point. Our order? A side salad for me, wings for him, 2 orders of breadsticks, and water. Simple enough, it would seem. After waiting at least a good half hour for anything at all, out came our water. Okay... twenty minutes later? A staff member from back in the kitchen came out and placed an order of what I think were breadsticks on our table. What happened to our waiter? Who knows. What happened to the breadsticks? God could only guess!!! How do you mess up an order of breadsticks so bad? Seriously. I've ordered Pizza Hut breadsticks many times and am quite familiar with them. These were flattened to a crisp and it literally looked like they threw a stick of butter on them and let it melt and called it a day. We inquired if these were the normal breadsticks, and the kitchen staff member said yes and went in back. We tried to eat them, but couldn't. I might as well of had a spoon and tub full of butter in front of me. We politely went up to the counter and had them remake the breadsticks. Another 30 minutes goes by and they bring out the "corrected" breadsticks. Completely flat, no seasoning at all, and hard. What??? How?? Oh well. Skip the breadsticks. We wait for our food patiently. It had been at LEAST an hour since we sat down at this point. Mind you, still with no food. Finally our waiter comes out with a tray of food and we're thinking "oh good it's all finally done." Well, wasn't that silly of us to think. The waiter brings the tray over with nothing more than my side salad on it, which was obviously already premade, and had been sitting in the fridge all day. No wings for my fiance. Just the side salad I ordered. IT TOOK AN HOUR TO BRING OUR A PREMADE SIDE SALAD??? I thought surely this place had to be joking, and that the wings were coming. We inquired, and were told they were still being made. Needless to say, I couldn't even keep a straight face. I felt uncomfortable and had to leave. How can a business be run so incompetently and still be in operation??

This has to be the most ghetto pizza place I have even went to! Ordered food at 8 pm had to call back at 9 they said it was on it's way had to call back after 10 and they lied and said they called us when they didnt. Why would you have to call to deliver a pizza? Because the dumb drivers don't know where they are going. I will never order from this place again. The female on the phone was rude and uneducated couldn't even speak proper english.

After the 5th worst snowstorm in this areas history, I decided to order pizza for pickup. I figured they wouldn't have delivery on such a terrible weather day. My pizza was ready as promised. I liked the display in the restaurant that showed my order was ready. Also, I saw the delivery driver going out! Good work Matteson Pizza Hut.

Worst management of any Pizza Hut I've ever been in. A perfect example of the "Black Tax" . There is no way people in Caucasian neighborhoods would have to put up with this kind of service. Placed an internet order of a $10 dinner box at 2:15 pm for pick up at 7:10 pm. Entered restaurant at 7:10, found a long line from the front counter and a room full of angry customers waiting for orders. When I reached the counter, I paid for my order and the guy behind the counter went back into the kitchen. When he returned I was told my order would be ready in 5 min. 20 min later the same person came over to where I was waiting, looked at my receipt and once again went into the kitchen to check on my order. When he returned I was told my order should be ready "soon". After waiting another 25 min, angry, frustrated, hungry and with no sign of my order I went to the counter and requested a refund. I was told by the counter person that "he didn't know how to do that" and he would have to get a manager. When the manager finally got to me, I was told I would have to fill out a form in order to get a refund. I was finally given a halfhearted "sorry for the wait" after getting my refund.

This Pizza Hut ran out of sausage at 9pm on a Thursday. Anybody have any questions? The stuffed cheese crust pizza was flimsy and unsure. The boneless bbq wings were confident but tight and a bit heavy on the molasses taste. With all the other great pizza places around, skip this one.

If I could give this place no stars I would. This location is by far the worse ever! Everytime I go there the service is horrible but my last visit there was the last straw. I placed my order over the phone and was told that my food would be ready in 20 mins. I got there 30 mins later just to be told by a young lady that my was on its way out. That's fine I have patience, but what was not fine was that the young lady totally forgot that me and my boyfriend had been sitting down waiting for her to either give us a up date on our food or even check on it. Instead she continued to service her table, joke with coworkers and then decided to start vacuuming the floor. All while we are still waiting on our food. Finally fed up my boyfriend approached the manager 25 mins later and asked about our food while looking up our order HIS PERSONAL cell phone rings and he picks it up! Continuing his personal conversation on the phone he goes and grabs our food and gives us a nonchalant "sorry for the wait" and sends us on our way. I received a credit for our horrible experience but needless to say I will never return back to this joke of a location ever again. Do not waste your time or money on this location.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
