Tried this for the first time the other day for lunch, I used a free coupon for a Free burger with a purchase of fries and a soda or fries and a milkshake. I decided to go with the milkshake, turkey burger and fries. I tended up begin about $7 with the free burger. The burger was a good standard greasy burger, very tasty, the fries were also very good, I would say nothing stood out necessarily about this burger place in comparison to others like it but it was definitely good. My milkshake was not a milkshake it was ice cream with cookie dough in it. There was no way you were slurping up any of the "milkshake" because it was too thick (ice cream.) Also, a small is $4 and it is small, thats a little pricey for a milkshake. I would go back as the food was very good, classic greasy burger place. I would not get a milkshake again, unfortunately, just too pricey for what it is.

Straightforward and no-frills burger joint. I had the cheeseburger with fries and a drink. Bonus points for having malt vinegar for my fries. Food was okay, service was good, and the bathrooms were clean.

My girlfriend and I were in town for work and came here because of its good reviews and vegetarian options. When we entered we were immediately greeted and smiles by the owner. He was friendly and gave us recommendations. There was a special that was going on that he forgot to apply when we ordered, which we did not notice. We ordered a shake before we left, and he was nice enough to catch his own mistake and deduct it from our second order. We appreciate honest businesses. The food itself was properly cooked and tasted good. The potato fries were the best. We both enjoyed our meals (her with a red bean patty and myself with a Mooyah burger), but I am a bit bias towards my hometown In and Out burger. The shake was not bad, but nothing to rave about either. She is especially critical with shakes since her dad makes some amazingly delicious ones at home. Bottom line: I would come back since they had great service and good food. It would not be my first choice, but definitely not out of the conversation. They are worth a try if you are in the area.

Pretty good burgers. We liked the seasoning they put on the patties. Fries are very good as well are the shakes. The service was fantastic as a couple of people (I assume one was a manager or possible owner) were very interested in making sure we had a pleasant experience.

Let me tell YALL! THIS PLACE IS A GEM! its a shame its only in the far suburbs of chicago BUT its wonderful. I ordered a mooyah with bacon, reg fry and big moo shake.! Place it welcoming and bright! Music not too loud! Great staff! Noww as for the food! Its good too! The buns are cooked there I believe and the meat is REAL! NO MCDONALD'S! frys are hand cut and they have seasoning salt and thats good too. Oh my shake was good as well . I recommend this plane to any and everybody.

This place understand the customer is always right. I enjoyed a flawless lunch here with a burger made exactly how I wanted it! They have a good soda variety, friendly atmosphere and are a step above Five Guys in quality- with similiar pricing as Five Guys. $10ish for a cheeseburger, fries & drink with a few special toppings added to my cheeseburger. I dined on a Sunday and was the only dine-in customer but saw a few folks order to go. I would visit again if I was in the mood for a non fast food semi handcrafted burger.

It appears burger joints (similar to froyo) has reached critical mass and all the newer offerings fail to impress. When i have 5guys, Smashburger, Tom&Eddies, Meatheads & Culvers... why should come here? Well I went in to try it out. Anything you order will definitely be fresh with quality ingredients. Unfortunately the burger itself was kinda meh, main issue was that it just kinda falls apart/crumbles pretty easily. I prefer a burger that will stay put while eating. I did not get the same satisfaction as with any of the other above listed establishments. The fries were underwhelming. They do give you quantity, likely a nod to 5guys that gives you a weeks worth of fries with every order. I did not try a shake, perhaps these will be better than the burgers. Can't imagine them screwing up a shake that badly.

Had a groupon so we decided to come in. The menu is pretty easy and simple which is a good thing. The gentleman taking my order was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. Food is cooked to order. It did seem to take a little longer than expected but this is a newer establishment and with that there will be kinks. My burger was fresh with very little grease at all. Toppings were fresh and burger was hot. The sweet potato fries were great and fresh. No complaints at all and would recommend this place to anyone. After reading some of the other reviews on here i decided some people are just mean or always expect perfection. I hope those people who always expect perfection always expect perfection out of themselves and have people who always expect perfection out of them.

Was very hesitant to try a burger here because I don't like smash burger, back alley burger etc and not even the biggest fan of five guys. BUT we were shopping and my husband said, let's just try it. So we did and WOW great! Such a great burger!!! And if u go u HAVE to try the shakes!!!! Best shake I ever had!!

The fries actually taste like potatoes. They're cut daily on site. The buns are baked here too. Our burgers were delicious. My son actually ate his whole hot dog and fries. We will be back

It's a decent burger and fries. Nothing really makes it stand out from Five Guys.

My wife and I decided to stop at Mooyahs for a burger today. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food and the service rendered. The place is clean, pleasant to The eye and the staff friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We received very, very slow service even though we were the only people waiting. We observed the staff working extremely inefficiently. They also completely ignores one of our complaints.

Best burger I have had in a LONG TIME. iced tea isn't half bad either! Kind of like chipotle for burgers!

To start off I got a coupon mailed to my house for a buy one get one free burger. So I decided to give them a try. I got there ordered my two burgers and a sweet potato fry. I was standing a waiting for more then 5 min so I went to sit down. Ten minutes go by and there were a few tables all waiting for there food. It took twenty minutes to get my food. So after that long frustrating wait, I said to myself this better be worth it. Yuck, yuck and yuck. I love burgers and McDonalds is way better then that burger any day! The sweet potato fries had tons of cinnamon on them, but were ok. I would not go back. Even with the coupon it was not worth it. If they continue to have such slow service they will be going out of business shortly.

Saw them prepping this place about two months ago and looked good so once I was in the are and it was open, had to try it. As others pointed out, it is a little pricey. I ordered a double cheeseburger with bacon and it was fantastic. I typically prefer medium well and it was pretty close. Also it had a slight grease mess which just adds to the fantastic taste. Fries were great. Went regular fries with ketchup and was satisfied. Will likely try the seasoning salt next time, but it's not necessary. Also had the Oreo Shake and it was fantastic. Very thick, none of that McDonald's watery garbage. But as I said all this game out to about $15 which is pricey. Could have likely done a small fry but heck sometimes you think you're hungrier than you truly are. Will definitely come back.

Those sweet potato fries were delicious when hot! I liked the fact I could get a lettuce wrap. I had the Turkey.burger. It was flavorful but a bit salty.

  • Jason G.

I tried it for the 1st time and was pleasantly surprised. They give you all the toppings you want with your choice of bread. There are a lot of tables inside. Employees are friendly. Read the entire menu first because they give you a lot of options to choose from.

  • Bill B.

The burger was good. Not remarkable. But for a non remarkable burger, the price was too high. Single burger combo meal ... With fries and a drink was 10.43. Too much.

  • Natalie F.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I love that they have a Turkey burger as a choice, a wheat bun and avocado to top it with! I love the heaping serving of sweet potato fries they give you. If you are in the area and want a good burger, you need to go here. I've been here a few times and they have NEVER disappointed me or the company I was with. Price wise, its about average for a decent burger place. I love the fact that their burgers are not dripping with grease. Its fresh filling food and the staff couldn't be any nicer. This location is right by my office, I really hope they put one near my house!!

So, we came out this way to go to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch on Saturday. Instead, the husband saw a "grand opening" sign for burgers and I knew that we would be eating here. Thankfully, they had a turkey burger (and a black bean one) for me to eat as 11:00 is a bit early (for me) for true red meat. They have a tone of toppings and sauces for you to choose from, but I just went with pickle, mayo and lettuce. Husband had a regular burger with ketchup and mustard. Both of us liked our burgers -the turkey had no filler (or onion) mixed into the meat, which was nice and it stayed juicy. The fries are okay - not peanut oil, which is a plus for us, but a little too crunchy for a skin-on version, and they use seasoned salt on them - and too much of that. The manager was there, it being the second weekend they were open and he came over to see how we liked things. I think this is a good spot for the place and hope they do well - I would definitely come back and try them again. **Beware of the shakes - they are real ice cream and the vanilla is 800 calories!!

It's my favorite burger place in Illinois and I certainly have my pick living in Lombard. The burger are soooo tasty, yummy, gooey from the melted cheese. The fresh cut fries are delish!

Say yah to Mooyah!! I visited Mooyah for the first time yesterday. I walked in shortly after they open so it wasn't too busy. We were welcomed by the smell of fresh baked buns and a very happy staff. Great first impression! I ordered a burger with almost everything on it and sweet potato fries. You can add unlimited toppings free of charge. We sat down and the meals were brought to us in a timely manner. The burgers are made to order so you don't want to expect 'fast' food. The taste of the burger was awesome and the sweet potato fries were one of the best I've ever had. The meal was messy but it's a burger joint- you can expect the mess. I did not have children with me but it would be a good place for kids. They had coloring sheets available and a doodle board available at the back. Great ways to keep them busy before their meal. Overall- great experience! Food & staff were excellent! Keep it up Mooyah- I'll be back!!

Would you travel 30 min to get McDonald's? Me neither and this is basically my thoughts of this place. summed up for you right there. The perfect patty, the perfect bun... Well my burger wasn't that, but it was a good burger. So sorry about the McDonald's comparison as the burger is clearly better than that of McDonald's quality lol) It hit the spot. I only got a regular single patty because well I feel like a fat blob every time I get a double. I got my Mooyah! burger with Swiss and blue cheese and bacon. I felt it was good more because of the cheese and bacon and not the patty itself. Someone mention something about the burger crumbling in a review. Mines wasn't so bad but a few pieces did crumble...don't worry I saved them by eating them :D It's a VERY kid friendly spot and almost wish I had a little niece/nephew I could bring here just to enjoy some down time with them. and to slightly give me a reason to try them out again sooner vs. later. Although I never had the mooyah sauce, I would probably suggest you at least get it on the side, that way something stand's out more as unique.

Came back here to give it another try and I'm sorry to say I probably won't be back anytime soon. I got a burger with the Mooyah sauce and some toppings. While everything came out quickly and correct, it was a grease ball. Eww, I get a stomach ache just thinking about it.

Awesome veggie burger. The cook made the best veggie burger I've had in a long time. The the fried onions on the burger were great. Better than Buffalo Wild Wings. I will definitely be back.

Went to lunch with a coworker this past Thursday and had my first Mooyah experience. I gotta say that it was rather pleasant. We got there a little after 1pm and there was another group that ordered and were seated waiting on their food. My coworker and I ordered our meals and proceeded to get our drinks filled at their drink fountain. I scanned the options and my heart jumped when I saw the Cherry Coke (I love me some cherry coke!) When I sat down, I was disappointed to realize that the coke lacked cherry and carbonation all together. I got up to get a different drink and the manager (?) was there. I just thought I would mention that the cherry coke was flat to let them know and he immediately said, "give me two minutes to change it for you." AWESOME! It's not about getting the cherry coke, it's the extra step he took to make my day! The fresh cut fries were piping hot and the burger was pretty huge for a single patty! Everything about the experience was great and therefore they get 5 stars in my book! Hope you get the same experience I do!

Second best burger spot in the area after DMK. Pretty straight forward, you can get burgers, fries and milkshakes. The burger is super tasty and clearly fresh. I would come here again for sure, a little simpler than DMK and definitely a more kid friendly environment.

There is no shortage of places to get a burger near Yorktown, but I think Mooyah can hold its own. It's along the lines of a Five Guys -- simple menu, all the toppings you want, hand cut fries. The big difference is I didn't feel like I'd just eaten half a cow here. The buns are fluffy and fresh, the beef is beefy, the patties are a little thinner with some crispy bits on the edges. It was cooked to a nice medium-well so there was still a little pink. The toppings are not as fancy or extensive as, say, Tom & Eddie's, but they're not going quite for that niche. There are about five cheese choices, multiple kinds of onions (raw, grilled or onion strings), pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, ranch, ketchup, barbecue sauce, buffalo sauce, etc. I will say that it seems like the (fresh baked, nicely squishy) buns are made for two patties; my single seemed a little overwhelmed by the bun. But with cheese, pickles, onions, mustard and ranch it was delicious. The fries were perfectly cooked and I liked the seasoned salt on the table. They also offer turkey patties and black bean patties, which is appreciated, and you can opt for sweet potato fries instead. They also have some delicious looking milkshakes, but I try to resist their siren call for my waistline's sake. Their system seems like it could use a little tweaking, we were asked for a name -- and there's a spot to pick up your food -- but then the food got brought to our table, maybe because it was a little slow. Everything comes out on nifty (if a little too large) trays with paper on them. TL;DR version: Very good food, clean and bright atmosphere, nice to have another choice for burgers in the area.

Yummy burgers and fresh baked buns! The burgers they serve here are far superior to any other burger place we have in this region. They have good options if you like to customize. Shakes are nice and thick! Mint chocolate chip & chocolate are my fave. Beyond awesome service and everything is fresh! This is a lunch spot my coworkers and I like to visit. Also: They have sweet potato fries!!!

I guess I should've prepared myself for the worst when I walked in at noon on a Friday to find this restaurant only 1/3 full of patrons. I chose MOOYAH because of the build-it-yourself concept I'd read about in other reviews, but didn't truly understand the process. I was a bit taken off guard when I got to the register and the cashier expected me to fully state what I wanted on my burger. I thought, based on the layout of the restaurant, that the process worked a bit like Chipotle where you walk down a counter having the staff add various toppings as you go. I was wrong. Instead you just go to the end and wait for your order to come up. Mine seemed to take a really long time considering all I ordered was a burger with swiss, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and MOOYAH sauce. The guy talked me into adding fries and a drink for $4. $4?!?! Um. Yeah. As I waited I filled my drink. The iced tea was out, so I settled on Diet Coke. I'm trying to quit soda, but the world doesn't want me to. I chose a table, and stood by it waiting to be called. A very nice lady offered to wipe it down for me. It didn't look that dirty to me, but it was nice of her. One star for that. My meal came up and there was a glob of hand-cut fries. Y'know the kind that are cooked in super hot oil and kinda turn orangey brown and just taste like the oil with no real semblance of potato? Yeah. That. The burger had been swallowed by a multigrain bun. I ordered white, but I guess the cashier heard "wheat" so that was what I got. It tasted fresh, but the taste of the bun was seriously overwhelming. The burger absolutely dripped with grease, and had no flavor whatsoever. The MOOYAH sauce got completely absorbed into the bun, and the onions added nothing. Overall this was the most disappointing burger I've had in recent history. If you like the flavor of grease, cardboard and multigrain bread then by all means please stop by. Otherwise, save your money. You can get a better burger and experience at a sit-down restaurant for pretty much the same price.

It is a decent burger at best. My wife and I definitely liked the wide variety of options to build your burger. The fact they offer fried onion strings is awesome in my book. My biggest complaint would be that the burger was WAY TOO GREASY! After my first bite, I had a puddle of grease and mooyah sauce. Not going to lie, if I'm going to pay these prices, I'll go to five guys.

  • Kunal C.

I feel this is an OK place. I didnt really like it, neither did my coworkers who came with me. Went there for lunch one day from work craving a good burger but I guess it wasnt my day. Their burgers were very average, both in taste and quality. Id rather go to tom and eddies or, even McDonalds.

  • Maddy K.

The fries are the highlight of Mooyah. The sweet potato fries are especially good! I wasn't a fan of the burger. I can't put my finger on it, but I think it might have been a little dry. Mooyah is super cute inside and the employees were nice enough. Solid 3 stars.

This is a quality burger place from the food to the staff. Delicious food and extremely friendly people working there! I would drive here anytime just for the staff. Well done.

The "Iceburger" is the bomb, I love this option! I don't know where you can get a bunless burger like this anywhere else around- not even Portillo's those bums! Food is fantastic, facility is clean and staff is very friendly and helpful.

  • Erica D.

Extremely impressed with the service and more importantly food at Mooyah! It's a create your own burger type of place, and I loved that sauteed mushrooms and grilled onions are free burger toppings! Another mentionable toppings include french onions. The whole wheat bun was so soft. They also have lettuce and white bun options. I got my burger with Mooyah sauce, which was a definite game changer. I didn't try the regular fries, but the sweet potato fries were amazing. The seasoning was a little sweet with a kick, and I dipped it in mooyah sauce (seriously can't get enough). I would have loved to try the bean burger (and I will next time) but it was slightly pricier than a regular beef patty which I found surprising. But nonetheless, I am a fan!

  • Samantha R.

I really enjoyed this place. No complaints. The bun was nice and soft. The hubby and I both got white buns. But they do have wheat buns and "lettuce" wraps which both looked delish. The patty was nice and thin. It was juicy. Their toppings were fresh. I had the sweet potato fries which were great. I really have no complaints about this place. I am always open to try a new burger. The staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. I would 100% go back.

First visit. Came in since we had a coupon from glenbard east football fundraiser. Nice staff. Amazing burger. Not to thick or thin. Great selection of topping and an AMAZING bun!!!! Will be back.

Eat more chicken...no eat more BEEF! I have tried other burger places that have the same business motto and find the Mooyah experience to be superior. They make the menu easy to comprehend and it is laid out logically to build your burger. What brought me in? Groupon. I bought a groupon which included a punch card for 3 burgers and 3 fries. I decided to take my wife to be a nice husband and we each made our own burger creation. On my burger I had a white home made bun, pepperjack cheese, lettuce, pickles, fried onion strings, ketchup, and mustard. First impression walking in: Wow, this place is really clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our food came out within a reasonable time. I like that the beverages ranges from sodas, lemonades and tea. I will say that the single burger and fries is more than enough food. Next time, I think that I will share the fries with my wife as we both could not finish them, The burger was a bit messy and left a small pool of oil on the tray, which I suspect is from the fried onion strings on the burger. I liked the fact the buns are made fresh, it makes a difference and they were sooo soft. I am not a fan of french fries, but I will admit when I like fries, I eat them...maybe more than I should. There was a group of customers in the booth behind me where the child spilled a drink all over the table and floor. The staff was very friendly and told the group to not worry about trying to clean it up when they asked for towels and they would be sure to clean and mop up the spill. I find this type of hospitality exceptional as most fast food style places would not have handled this situation in this manner. Mooyah is not "fast food", it is more of an order and eat type of restaurant. I am looking forward to coming back.

Tasty, Mooyah Turkey burger with a side of sweet potato fries and a drink! Great food. Best sweet potato fries thus far in the Chicago land area! I also love the social promotions. Will be back for sure! The ice cream shake was... DELICIOUS!!!

  • Tobin h.

Disappointed and underwhelmed. Burger and ingredients were very good. Bun a little "bun-e" but fresh and tasty. Place was clean and organized. Service wasn't rude but wasn't good. In today's world where every corner has a new burger concept, service is what is going to set it apart and it didn't happen here. The bells and whistles seemed to take over the importance of a smile and an effort. I have two young daughters that asked for pickles and more pickles and felt as if the request was more of a burden than a customer service opportunity. Chances are I won't be back with all the other burger somethings out there!

Mooyah is fabulous and the closest thing to In-n-Out that I've found in the Midwest so far. I was lucky enough to get a Groupon for Mooyah about a month ago for two $10 vouchers. One $10 voucher was enough for my husband and I to both get a double cheeseburger "Mooyah style" (aka animal style--grilled onions, cheese, lettuce, pickle and tomato) and only have to spend a few bucks extra. (Also, sign up for their text club on their website and you can get a free burger with purchase of a fry + drink.) We did have the same problem that others mentioned about the meat falling apart in our hands. This was a small complaint with how excellent it tasted and one I quickly forgot. Just don't come here on a date because these burgers are hella messy--again, totally worth it. I'm already planning my meat-filled return for later this week!

Super delicious! Sweet potato fries are the best. Load your Burger anyway and it doesn't nickel and dime you for everything

  • Davin L.

Yeef. Another burger chain... Well, I will say this: the sweet potato fries here are really good. Fried up crispy and mealy with cinnamon on top. Textbook perfect. Also, I do really appreciate the fresh baked wheat bun and the full range of cheeses, sauces, and condiments that you can choose from for your burger. The Mooyah sauce was an interesting one and was perfect for dipping my sweet potato fries. Most are free, except for the premium ones. Fifty cents more for pepper jack cheese? C'mon, son... As for the burger itself? Well...maybe it was an off night, but the burger I ordered was a tad on the dry, crumbly side. It's as though the cook pressed a little too hard and too long on it while it was cooking. I'm more than willing to go back to see if it was a fluke next time I'm visiting friends in Downers Grove.

  • Susan B.

Had a groupon for $20, ordered 2 burgers (1 with fries other with a side salad and 2 drinks roughly came to the $20 voucher amount). Burgers were cooked quickly although there wasn't anyone ahead of us waiting. Burgers were very tasty and seasoned well but like someone else mentioned, very thin and crumbly. I enjoyed the bun which was very fresh and soft. Toppings that we selected were also plentiful. I did notice that the burgers/bun were very greasy. Also, nothing to do with the food but the TVs that are mounted above the cook area are kinda useless. The fluorescent lights are right above them which produces a glare...and the fluorescent lights were so bright. I felt like I needed sunglasses!

We tried this place for the first time on 8/11. My son and I really enjoyed the burgers and the topping options. In the style of Five Guys, this place has a simplified menu. The service was good on this day as well. The crew on this night was neat, clean and really polite! Hand cut fries were nice and fresh, not made before hand. The burgers were well cooked and steaming hot as we bit into them. We will definitely be back!

Heard about Mooyah through my husband's mom - who frequents the owners other establishment. Although I love a good greasy burger, haven't been a fan of the gourmet shops opening up. Most are good, but for the price, can't hold up to a mammoth from Webber or even the simplest wipe your hands on the pants grease from Maxwell - extra grilled onions please! Mooyah will fit in well for the area, but not sure they'll be my go to burger joint when I need a fix. Menu was simple, basic...no frills, and I liked that. A girl's gotta have choices, but sometimes too many choices gets my head spinning My husband ordered the Mooyah with regular fries, and I went with the turkey - upgraded. Added cheese, bacon and avocado to that bird, along with sweet potato fries. If you're going in...may as well do it right! Food came out quickly and was super fresh. Even the buns. No break your teeth been sitting out for the day rubber Mooyah burger was good. A good mess of grilled onions topped it off, giving it that hint of greasy Maxwell. His fries were good...did like the unique garlic salt, but after trying my sweet potato fries, my focus remained there The bird itself was nothing special - Jenny-o special, but the toppings were great. Really good crispy bacon and an ultra fresh avocado - did I mention the sweet potato fries? Perfect amount of crisp and soft - little sprinkle of cinnamon on top. Would come back for those alone! Should have taken some home - would they have lasted the car ride? Probably not! But wouldn't be craving them right now Sure we'll be back - they're in an area we hit when we feel the need for something different...perhaps try the bean next time - they can master that, will have a friend for life

I have stopped in twice for a milkshake. Strawberry banana was delicious. Oreo had barely any Oreo pieces in it. Also, the second time I was there the staff seemed a little bit confused or maybe short staffed. It took over 20 minutes for me to get my milkshake.

Ooo! A new burger joint! I'll try! This was the last pleasant thought I had after entering Mooyah in Lombard. To summarize, this was fairly awful. The burger patty is thin and crumbles apart. Not to be out done, the bun is flavorless and has the texture of white bread. Fluffy, soft and unable to add backbone to the floppy patty. The condiments were wet enough that they rendered the bun moist and floppy. Like uncooked French Toast. I also sprung for the amazing looking fries. Unfortunately, they turned out to be soft and wildly over seasoned (salt). I love salt, but it was about twice the acceptable amount. Lastly, I hoped for redemption from the lemonade in the waterfall dispenser. Nope. Clearly made from powdered mix. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Go across the street to Tom & Eddies. They are everything this place is not. Similar pricing but exceptional burgers.

Stopped in on Thursday for lunch - got in just before the crowd...the order taker could not have been more pleasant and helpful. As more people poured in it got a little crazy in the prep area - they are still working out some kinks - it took a long time to get my order. The burger was amazing! It had such a good flavor - I'll definitely be back for that. I tried both the regular and sweet potato fries - neither of them were very good. The sweet potato fries had some weird seasoning on them - almost like a paprika - maybe? I think I'll skip the fries next time and go for a shake - those looked very good.

I got the coupon for a free burger if you buy the fries and drink/shake when I signed up on their website. It's a cute & clean place. The burger was big, fresh & tasty delicious with Mooyah sauce & a host of free toppings I chose that included jalapenos, grilled onions & mushrooms. The small fries which came out huge are also very fresh & tasty. They are both kind of sinfully greasy but not bland at all. The girl in the counter & the cook are both courteous & helpful. Highly recommended.

That actual burger is good, not great (part of that has to do with the bun) but they make up for it elsewhere. The fries are solid and the shakes are great (incredibly thick, too). Esthetically the place looks very clean and functional. The menus loom simple but very good. I think that the prices are reasonable (comparable to Five Guys, Smashburger, etc.) It also helps that the service was great.

FUCK THIS PLACE! This is the second restaurant I have been to lately who gives you a huge amount of fries in a large order and doesn't warn you how big of an order it is. It's like they do it on purpose just to trick the customer to get more money out of them. I was wondering why it was $15 for a burger, lg fry and lg coke.

ZERO stars. The place was not even half full. There were two people ahead of us waiting for their orders when we walked in. The menu is not complicated. Hamburgers hot dogs, turkey burgers. That's about it. Not rocket science to assemble a hamburger with less than ten or so options but the workers are not brainwaves. They'd seize up at a Subway, thats for sure. There's the basic burger for a mere five bucks, but then there is an up charge for just about everything else. Two burgers, one order of fries, one drink = SIXTEEN BUCKS. There were three women working to assemble the food. THREE!!! It took them TWENTY FIVE MINUTES to put together two hamburgers for us. Simple things with their stupid sauce, ketchup lettuce tomatoes and onions. NOT COMPLICATED. The time of order was stamped on the receipt, so I know exactly to the minute how long it took the THREE WORKERS to make the orders ahead of us and ours. As I said, there were two people ahead of us. The burger workers got the order wrong for one party who brought their burger back to the assembly counter. The worker person rolled her eyes disassembled the burger and dumped two slices of avocado on it, WITH HER BARE HANDS, and smooshed the thing back together and handed it to the poor patron. Our burgers were cold and for some inconceivable reason, even though they were thin and crumbly and the "extra' ingredients looked as if they had been ironed (wilted lettuce, less than a teaspoon of little dices of onion and a tomato sliced so thinly you could see through it), the thing had a giant stick in it. Not a fancy toothpick or a cute little flag with their company logo. Nope a plain ugly stick. I asked for their special Mooyah sauce and ketchup. It didn't taste like they had put any on when I took a bite. I opened the burger up and saw a circle of each, that looked like they were tattooed onto the bun . The grilled onions I ordered were, as I said, little minces of onion, not the grilled onions one would normally expect. They weren't exactly grilled, unless you call cooking them in beef grease "grilled" And they didn't quite make it onto the burger, they were strewn across the side of the food tray the burger sat on. Clearly the burger assembler missed the burger when she was tossing the onions toward the bun. And this was not done hastily because of a frenzy of orders coming at her; it was done haphazardly demonstrating just how much she cares about her job. And someone wants these people to earn 15 bucks an hour for this work ethic??? The burger was oddly greasy and crumbly at the same time. Another reviewer was spot on when they said the bun had the consistency of stale white bread and couldn't hold up the ingredients even though the ingredients were all paper thin. This mess literally crumbled apart in my hands--even though it was all ice cold. The fries were even worse. Looked like the outside of the potatoes--all poorly cut wedges.--and potatoes that apparently had rigor mortis. Some were impossible to chew. Not close to "golden brown" as advertised, more like smoldering car wreck brown. They weren't exactly "piping" hot either. Just luke warm enough to be troublesome. And grossly over salted. The orders were served on some sort of industrial paper that curled up over the food on top of metal prison trays. It was insulting to say the least. Awful awful awful. I will never ever ever ever ever ever ever set foot in this dump again. Waste of money, waste of time, waste of space. DO NOT GO HERE.
