I don't understand why, at 5 pm, there is a 12 minute wait for fried chicken. This was the second time this happened to me. I was the only one in our party to want chicken, are the others supposed to wait with me? Or, should they eat while I wait? Is this a fast food place or not? Ordered a salad instead.

The second time I came here. I am so disappointed! They didn't blend it like last time!! GRR. I even asked the person taking my order to do so. But agh So disappointing. What a waste of calories! Next time be even more explicit about blending completely!

Culver's is Culver's, right? Wrong. The food here is the same as any other place, but I will never use the drive thru here ever again. I'm estimating, but I am going to say that 90% of the time I have used the drive thru here they have gotten my order wrong. Good food, but avoid the drive thru.

Culver's is Culver's. It has a great reputation and the food here is as delicious as it is anywhere else. Inside is always clean and there's plenty of parking. The part I'm taking off points for is the drive thru. Every time I come by there's a wait. And it's not always during the lunch or dinner rush. Last time I went it was around 1:30pm and I had to pull off to the side along with 6 other cars for over 5 minutes. I do understand that everything is cooked to order. Can you taste the difference? Is it worth the wait? I suppose. I work and live near by so it makes sense for me to just pick up food instead of dining inside. So in short: This Culver's has great food. But if you're in a rush don't expect to make a speedy getaway by choosing the drive thru.

This is my first experience with Culvers. Nice big and clean, burgers are great, have a good size, and do have a sort of buttery taste as advertized. Sort of comparable to a Steak and Shake, but you do the standard walk up order and they bring you a food. I have to say I'm a fan of the whole "step up" from fast typical fast food. Nicer interior, less rush, good food and similar prices when compared to your run of the mill BK, McDonalds, or Wendy's. Didn't have any of the frozen stuff, but will when it gets warmer.

Butter burgers. Enough said. I'm not a big fan of frozen custard, but if ice cream isn't rich enough for you try frozen custard! And then add more sugar in the form of candy or crushed cookies and you are set. The burgers are made after you order so you'll get a number and find yourself a seat. I actually find a kids' meal plenty of food ... for a snack or a small child. I actually like the burgers here. It's a quality no- frills burger. I'm told this location has a good veggie burger as well. What I really enjoy here are the fries. I Iove fries, and this place does a yummy crinkle cut salted just right. We have brought a few large orders to eat at the local lake because fries! Stop here for a good meal. It's not going to change your life but it will make you rethink every trip to McDonald's!

The butter burgers are the very best here!!! The bacon deluxe is what I always get and you won't be disappointed! Many come here for the frozen custard. although, I myself don't like frozen custard, have found it to be quite good! Kid friendly and very warm atmosphere.

Culver's signature root beer and butter burger are perfect companions road tripping to middle-of-nowhere Wisconsin. If you want quality fast food and a burger better than McDonald's, Burger King or Wendy's, Culver's is a fine option. Also, you will most likely be served by smiley, fresh-faced teens. Good clean fun and greasy (but not too greasy) burgers! AND YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT GO WRONG ORDERING THE CUSTARD

I'm a fan of Culver's. Quality of food for fast food joint is good. Their butter burgers are tasty and meaty. But I love their custard ice cream! this Culver's is off the beaten track and it is not conveniently off the tollway and you can't get right back on the tollway going north on I-294.

Great place for a delicious butter burger. Hard for me to try other items because of those burgers. But salads are very good and the pot roast dinner is really tasty.

Harry Potter may have butter beer. But we Muggles have Butter Burgers. I thought Culvers was only a Wisconsin delight. Imagine my happiness to discover one in Libertyville. Four stars for a fast food joint?!? A really good fast food place would earn three. But Culver's in general knocks other places out of the competition. When I want a burger, I don't want some wimpy little thing. I want it to sit in my stomach and remind me that I just got a big dose of Iron. Oh yeah. Culvers delivers. The French fries blow any other fast food joint out of the park. Give me those cringle fries any day! And of course, the custard. Don't know what custard is? Then you haven't lived! I first discovered custard when I lived in Wisconsin. Yep. Only cheese heads could create something this creamy for dessert. When you order, they give you a number and you go sit down. They actually bring your food to you. It doesn't take long, but it's better than standing in line waiting for some tray to be pushed in your direction. If you must, use the drive-thru. If you like fast food and haven't tried Culvers, you owe yourself a trip.
