I go to many Olive Gardens. I have been to this one before. It is okay. I've been to better. The waitress did not offer me a sample of the wine. I may have liked it. I am glad they have the computers at each table. So, no need to wave down a waiter. Even though the waitress failed to offer wine for tasting, I still gave her a good tip.

The only thing we had that was edible was the soup!!!! The salad was wilted and the breadsticks were hard. As for our entrees, both off of the lighter Italian fare me ire were hardly edible. I had the citrus chicken sorrento and I hardly touched it. It was sickeneung sweet and the whole plate was swimming in it. I was excited for my roasted veggies and lightly seasoned bricolli but none of it was edible. My father had the herb grilled salmon. I was dry and very fishy. The color of the fish wasn't even pink! We told the waiter who had very lisle simpathy and just offered more cheese on top. I'm a regular at Olive Garden but this was a new location for me and the experience might just have been bad enough to keep me from coming back to any of them

The usual lunch group will come here for their unlimited soup and salad. The service the past couple of times have improved. Before, we had to wait a long time for refills on the soup, salad, breadsticks, drinks, and even the bill. Looks like the service is becoming more consistent and the servers are more observant to the customers needs. If you're on a time constraint, let the server know so that they can make sure to bring out your food in a timely manner. Love the Zuppa Toscana soup!!! It could be a bit spicier, but in my opinion, it's the best soup on their menu! Can't beat a full lunch for only $7.99!!

My Family (5) were so excited about my niece leaving for college the next day. so we asked where would she like to go CELEBRATE...she's never eaten at Olive Garden, double treat bc I love the Steak gorgonzola upon arrival we met a very nice host name Asia who was kind, Now here's where our evening went bad, the server came offered the sample of wine that was ok.until I asked about the rose fruity wine (later I found out it was discontinued) she quickly said there's LOTS of red wines on the list... WOW! we order the specials buy I get one, with too kids dishes the server asked soup or salad "my 11 yrs old asked what kind of soup yall have" in a RUDE way the server quickly named all the soups and gave her the menu, NOT KID FREINDLY AT ALL. the only reason I didn't walk out was I hoping for better and didn't want to spoil my nieces CELEBRATION the server she took our orders the salad was wilted the stuff mushrooms were GOOD she didn't explain the menu much at all when our food arrived and it was not what we though we were ordering, later a manager approached he asked was everything ok I stated NO! we need a another server he tried not much changed my steak was sent back not cooked properly.by the time our food came we asked for boxes to take it home $$ WASTED. later that evening I called and spoke with another manager about billing issues she was understanding.... and OVERCHARGED my card now I'm waiting for a refund,,,,, thanks a lot this has been one the worst experiences

This locations management staff does not have a clue. I was told the wait on my wife's birthday would be between 1 and 1.5 hours. Sundays are busy; so I waited. 2 hours later we were still waiting. I am not a big fan of Olive Garden. The little misses likes this place. I do not appreciate been told countless times a few more minutes please. We had 14 people gather in their lobby; tried and starving. If I never eat here again it will be to soon.

To think my gf wanted to have italian and had a craving for this place. THIS PLACE IS THE PITS!!!! they sat us first off right next to the kitchen where it smelled like an old senior living place (which made all of us gag and want to throw up). The waitress was nice and moved us to a different area only to be told that we had to move yet again due to a fire hazard they should've thought about before they moved us to begin with. When they moved us a THIRD time, the manager (or whoever she was) DIDN'T LISTEN and moved us RIGHT BACK to where we started RIGHT BY THE FUNKY SMELLING KITCHEN!!!! not to mention, one of the kitchen people came out to empty the garbage RIGHT NEXT to where we were sitting???!!! REALLY!!??? We didn't get to eat AT ALL and we got up and left...this place is the pits!!! i'll NEVER be back!!! I'll NEVER tell people to eat here.

If I could've given them no stars, I would have. The wait was okay. It was busy for a Tuesday afternoon. We ordered drinks and my Peach Bellini was the worst I had ever had. It was watered down and not pleasant. The soup, salad and breadsticks were brought out were good. However, our waiter Gina obviously knew the people behind us and was constantly having a personal conversation about hair weave and birthday plans. Not only was she having a personal conversation but she was also loud. Big no no for me. Couldn't enjoy my own conversation from hearing hers. I asked for water and seeing that we both ordered drink I assumed they would bring water but no. Then when she brought the water she placed it on the table walking pass so fast to get back to her conversation that she obviously had forgotten the other glass of water. So about ten minutes later she comes back and says someone accidentally took the food I ordered so she had to wait for it to be made again. Another 20 minutes passed so I just asked for the check and we didn't want the entree anymore. The manager brought my check and apologized. This experience just wasn't great for me. I DEFINITELY will not be returning here.

My husband and I walked in around 2pm. We were excited to grab a quick lunch there since we remembered it used to be great years ago and finally we had a chance to stop in today. It was pretty empty as to be expected during the time of the day. We were greeted and seated then that was it. No water was given, no one came to say anything. There was a waitress walking around and serving at a different area. I guess we didn't belong to her, but you would think she would let someone know to come see about us. After 10 to 15 minutes, we thought we have been quite patience enough so we called it quit. The funniest part was when we were walking out, the same hostess told us thank you and have a nice day..really?? She didn't remember that she just sat us..perhaps she didn't even notify the wait staff.??

This place use to be good back in the days, but it seems like they are falling off a bit. I was really disappointed with my meal. We had ordered White Bean Tuscan Hummus ( cannellini beans, olive oil and garlic for an Italian twist. Topped with garlic cloves and tomatoes, and served with toasted ciabatta bread)and some kind of fried pasta ravioli that's no longer on the menu as appetizers and that was pretty good. But nothing to write home about. My main dish was a spicy shrimp with peppers pasta dish that came with some kind of red water sauce. Let me tell you: that dish was awful, They did not drain the pasta, so I can see the pasta water and my sauce just sitting there separated, the shrimp was absolutely flavorless, No clue what was in that damn sauce but I was not eating it. I returned it to the kitchen. Then ordered the typical chicken fettuccini alfredo. Which was a chopped upped breaded chicken breast and a oily pasta. I couldn't win. Such a disappointment. I did however enjoy the breadsticks and the Zuppa Tuscana soup (Spicy sausage, fresh kale and russet potatoes in a creamy broth) and my strawberry passion fruit lemonata drink ( mix of strawberry, passion fruit, lemonade and sparkling water) which was really good. I cannot recall my parties dishes but to say the least they were not happy with their dish either. I can say that our waitress was very nice and very knowledgeable of the menu and she was very attentive without being over bearing and she even provided my mother with a free birthday cheesecake that was delicious. So I do thank her for that. But I do feel that is our last visit to the Olive Garden Chain. No matter the location, the food seems to be the same.

One of my favorite budget friendly italian spots. They don't have the most authentic italian fare but they get the job done. We went here to celebrate a friends birthday. All us girls are trying to get fit for the summer and no one was into piging out this time so we all had the soup/salad combo with dessert. My only complaint was the waiter caught a major attitude when we kept ordering refills of salad and soup. He started taking his time with the refills. Why get mad, it was a lot of us so he was still going to get a good tip. We all were in a giggly mood so no one got too annoyed by this, but we all noticed it.

So far so disappointing. The server Connie has the personality on a rock. We asked her about the drink menu and she never showed us, we looked around the menu till we discovered it ourselves. She did not explain any specials or menu options. It seemed that we were an inconvenience to her instead of a paying quest. We ordered an appetizer after ordering our beverages. Connie came back by asked us if we wanted to order our entrees. We ordered the entrees. 5min later our salad shows up. Bag iceberg lettuce w/2 slices of tomato and one olive and 3 slices of red onion and The app never showed. 10min later here comes the entrees. She actually delivers them to another table that had just ordered and when they told her it wasn't theirs, she replied oh and then brought it to us. When we asked about our missing appetizer she replied that she doesn't bring it, that a runner usually brings it. Also asked where was the side of Italian sausage she ordered with her entree Connie's response was "oh it's probably in the back still cooking." At that point my wife had had enough. We talked to the mgr Gail she apologized for the errors and offered to pick up our tab. She seemed really concerned and helpful. She seemed to wand to save the experience.

We started to come here for lunch more often, but can only order the soup and salad since we are limited on time. Overall a great deal...we have 2-3 bowls of different kinds of soup and lots of salad and breadsticks...all for under $10! Can't beat that. They have finally realized they have to be quick with our orders and to bring the check right away since we are on a time constraint.

I don't care what they say! If you want good Italian food then don't eat at the Olive Garden! The food is not authentic and gives small portions. Who cares about the unlimited bread sticks/salad. I mean for the price you pay you could have gone to a all you can eat buffet with unlimited desserts and drinks. What you are really paying for is over friendly service and the fancy/rich environment your sitting in. If you want to leave happy and full then don't eat at the Olive Garden restaurants. If you want good authentic Italian food then go to a family owned Italian restaurant.

Its been quite a few years since I have rolled inside of this particular location. I happen to be a huge fan of the Olive Garden so I thought it was about time I come back. I invited my mom and my great uncle to go for a bite to eat since he was in town for the weekend. We were surprised to see there was a 20 minute wait on a Thursday evening (damn burbs). As we were seated we realized it was very chilly in the dining area. So chilly that my mom who was wearing a sweater put her hood on while she ate at one point. The salad was great as usual along with the breadsticks. I ordered a glass of moscato, which probably was the best glass I ever had. I wish I would have remembered to ask which brand it was. For my entree, I had the Linguine alla Marinara which was ok. The waitress was kind of not that great. She seemed pretty impatient as my mom ordered and as my 77 year old great uncle ordered. She also had an unpleasant tone as she explained things on the menu. I almost thought about not leaving a tip because I was very dissatisfied with her service. The hostess was pretty nice though.

Usually service isn't that bad but I went here yesterday and it was HORRIBLE. My waitress took out order and then decide to go on break. Who the f does that?! Soo I didn't see her until the very end when we were done eatin and ready to pay. The waiter next to my table brought us our food. I didn't get a refill for water and had to ask for my dessert to be given to me twice. Me and my friends that went all work in a commission based job so we understand the importance of tip. Maybe cuz were young (22) she decided to slack. Sorry Fran you would've gotten a nice tip if you actually cared to service my group so don't be mad at us when you have yourself to blame for being MIA.

Wasn't to thrilled with my experience here today. The Hubby, kids, and I, ate dinner here today. I know It seems as if I just don't want to do alot of cooking lately, but I blame this weird weather:) any hoot, we received horrible service, our waitress was never at our table, but I still gave her a 15% tip , and then to top it off my calamari was not fried right ! I will not be returning to this one, I'll take the 30min drive to Orland. Oh, yea I forgot we had a 40 min wait !

I think I'd rather have a root canal than suffer through this wait and service again. Went to OG after church, can't figure out why they cannot staff and prep for Sunday afternoon. Soup wasn't hot, we got our food after two families that were seated around and after us got theirs. One of the people at out table asked what was in the Caesar salad because she is allergic to fish, ordered one because it didn't have anchovies in it, then started breaking out. The waiter then said, "oh the dressing has anchovies in it, don't you know what is in a Caesar salad?" One of our orders was dropped and had to be made over, in addition to the slowness of everyone else's meal. She asked for a box for it when it came to the table and got one 20 minutes later. On top of that, they auto added an 18% tip to the meal total with tax and added in two meals we ordered and didn't get.

It's a chain so there's not really much to say. The food does the trick... My only concern is this, they truly need to train their staff in costumer service. I asked to alter a dish by subbing shrimp for salmon and was told that wasn't allowed. Horse poopy!!! I know all about that modify button and was willing to pay any price difference. It concerns me that an employee would take it upon themselves to decide what is and is not allowed. Needless to say the manager agreed that any and all substitutions are possible. I know it's not Burger King but people should still be able to have it their way.

Had a server, david, who reminded us a lot of billy idol. He was very friendly, socialable, and had a great sense of humor. Everything was on time and exactly what we ordered. Not to mention, he seemed to be the only one serving that I would see out and about. Everyone else had a runner bring stuff to their table, but he brought everything to us himself, just as a waiter should.

Early Sunday dinner with the in-laws and our son. Waiter was really out of it. Would take some of our drink orders, then absently walk away and then come back shortly after to complete the rest. Dropped off salad and breadsticks but we never received silverware. Had to wait awhile and actually grab another server before we saw ours again. Then the waiter was swapped with another waitress and the craziness continued. They brought out the food with mine having the wrong pasta noodle. When I asked about it I was told they ran out of cavatelli and replaced it with another. I asked why I wasn't consulted on this decision, since it was my food afterall, and the new waitress said she didn't know anything since she didn't place the original order. I would've kept the dish anyway but the pasta was awful, sooooo overcooked it was mush. Asked her to replace it with something else and then a manager came to talk to me. Explained (again) what happened and he said he'd take care of it. Family was done with their meals for a good ten minutes before I received the new order. Wrong sauce this time. Alfredo instead of sundried tomato. I could not win. Told the waitress who grabbed a NEW manager and had to explain the situation AGAIN. Gave up at this point even though she politely offered to make me another dish. C'mon. And wait another 15 minutes while my family sat and stared at each other? Just asked for the check. Waitress returns after a long while with the check and the dish hasn't been removed. No my MIL is pissed and calls the manager over to tell her what's what. Agrees to take the food off the bill, offers to make a dish to go (politely refused), and says she'll bring us some mints. Ha! Mints! Waitress returns with bill and says she can't find the mints. Face palm. I seriously would've ran out of there screaming if I wasn't laughing at the ridiculousness of it all. Never again.

Every order I get to go I always had to come back because they mess up the order or they missed something. They are pretty fast though. The servers are never friendly and sometimes they put me on hold and hanged up on me on the phone. The only reason why I keep coming back to this Olive Garden is because I work in Cal City and there are really not very good variety of places to eat around here. I wish they would get my order right for once.

Visited this Olive Garden tonight. Our waiter was extremely helpful and attentive. I appreciated that. It was a little pushy tho but I'm not complaining. My ONLY complaint was the fettuccine Alfredo had no flavor. :/ but the chicken and gnocchi soup was DELICIOUS. All In all, I had a great time.

I like this olive garden. Service is good, food is good, and the wait isn't that bad. I've always have awesome customer service here. My favorite dish is the apricot chicken. I've also ordered this dish to go and its still taste just as good.

We went there last night, our bi-monthly girls night out. We also surprised my friend Liza with a birthday cake. Anyhow, the place was not crowded at all when we got there at 530. It was a good time to arrive. We all ordered different things. I had the lasagna---which for $13 they could have given a little bit more! It seemed I got more sauce then lasagna, but it was really good. Laura got the Tour of Italy, which was lasagna, fetticini alfredo, and veal patty. It looked very good and for $15, she got a lot of food! Liza ordered Chicken Marsala. She said it was very good and she did clean her plate! Geri ordered shrimp scampi with noodles. She got a ton of noodles and ate every bit of it! We were stuffed. The bread sticks were a bit on the salty side and very oily with butter I assume. The salad was good, tho I was thirsty all night from it! We had drinks. I had something called Fresco, it was strawberry vodka with lemonade. It was not good. There was no taste, it was like flavored water. We all had the same thing and I noticed each of our drinks looked different in the glass. I was not thrilled with those drinks! So overall, I would go back I think I would try the Tour of Italy! Looked good!!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
