We have just moved into the area and were delighted to find Viet House. The Pho with rare beef and meatballs was Pho-tastic! The regular serving size was more than enough for two to share. I can't imagine how big the large size is. Our server was very pleasant and didn't bat an eye when we asked for two bowls so that we could share the pho. We have had challenges in the past with this type of request . Of course, we had the combo appetizer--I'm a spring roll fan, my husband is into eggrolls. Both were delicious. The restaurant isn't big, but I loved the simple lines and clean colors. They had several lettuce wrap dishes that I was very interested in. We will definitely be going back here.
The restaurant has been opened just under a year. I'm always looking for a new soup place and this one does not disappoint! I'm a huge pho lover so I'm pretty picky about the broth and what is added to it plus the quality and quantity for the price ratio. The Pho Soup: Pho broth is excellent! Lots of flavor. Lots of meat. They have two sizes -- Regular and Large. The regular size is good enough for most people. The large is for the really hungry person. It's about $12 for the large and $8 or $9 for the regular. The price ratio works out. Sure it's more expensive than the closest Pho place (House of Pho) but you also get more meat for that price difference. The Service: Great service! Very friendly and accommodating owners. It's a mom and pop shop. This shouldn't be a major factor but it helps; if you've never had Vietnamese food before; the wait staff all speak perfect English. The place is small size so there can be a wait time during prime hours. Overall this would be a place I would frequent on a regular basis. This and House of Pho are the two best Vietnamese restaurant in the area. House of Pho has certain dishes this place doesn't have and vice versa. Both are great!
Went there last Sunday, August 30th, for lunch. Vietnamese co-worker of mine recommended the place. House of Pho is our usual go to place when it comes to Pho. I ordered the House Special Pho, I believe. Large. $12 something, I believe. This size is good for two. Next time I'll order the not large. Don't want to be wasteful + it's less expensive than the large. I liked their Pho. Seems less salty. Less MSG too? My wife ordered the Lemongrass Beef Banh Mi. She liked it. I liked it. However, we still like sandwiches from Nhu Lan in Chicago. I ordered for my Mom. A noodle dish that sounded good when we read it from their menu. Noodles with pork, pork skin (crispy, I thought), lettuce, peanuts, etc.. When it arrived, it's in a bowl. Dry. No broth. Just a side of, I don't know, fish sauce with a little shredded carrots and something else. I'm not a fan of fish sauce so I didn't even try it. My Mom was expecting something else so that was a fail. Not but the restaurant but by us not understanding in detail what we're ordering. I also ordered chicken wings. Mild. Size of wings were medium. Flavor's good. I like House of Pho's wings better. I'll try Viet House's spicy wings next time. Another thing we tried was their Spring Rolls. It's good. We've had better. We'll come back and try other items. For our first visit, not fail.

I go there monthly to get my SPICY chicken shwarma wrap! The food is made fresh immediately after you order it. Takes time...but it is hot and ready to eat! My son hooked me on to this place. He calls ahead and says it's always ready when you get there. I've got time to wait for a good meal! It would take longer if I tried to make it and not nearly as good.
Wow!!! Finally a middle eastern place with some spice and flavor. Great service and exceptional food. Be careful though,if you ask for spicy, that is exactly what you will get!
Just enjoyed a very tasty Spicy Chicken Shawarma Wrap from Falafil Hut. Highly recommend giving it a try.

There were 8 people working during lunch to ensure a speedy service. Two of these people have been here since the beginning of he branch! This is my favorite branch and they do a great job of keeping the place clean.
Sandwiches have been better lately. I know I said before they lost my business but sadly they're like one of 2 places in the area that delivers so we get desperate at work sometimes and have to get it delivered. As always the drivers are very fast and our orders have been better lately. Not forgetting anything and the bread is more fresh. Still pretty upset about our previous experience with the manager but I can't say anything bad about the rest of the staff.
Awful how this place can't deliver 2 miles because it's out of there area in order to call themselves freaky fast. I have order here for about 7 years and have never had a problem placing a delivery until now. They have come out to my house no problem and when I told them that they snapped at me and said"well we're not suppose to go that far, so whom ever did the deliver was wronged" blows me away how much business this place is loosing due to the fact they don't travel 2 miles. Irritated!

Fantastic pho! And the lunch specials are amazing: for about $7 you get a huge bowl of pho (I usually get beef and brisket) and an eggroll. The food is fresh and delicious. The service is also great, but I would definitely recommend more staff. Often, especially when it's busy, I only see 2 servers in the entire place, and they run their butts off. Sometimes that means that it takes 10 minutes for me to get my soda after I ask for it. I can't fault the server for that, since he is only one man. Beef up the serving staff, and this place will definitely get ***** from me. Love it here!
Best Pho I've had outside of Chicago. The other "entree" items are solid, but man, the pho is super awesome. Also try the banh mi, and make sure to drench it in that awesome peanut sauce they have there.
We had a taste for Thai and tried this place out. It is a family friendly restaurant, no alcohol, which was fine. My only minor complaint is when they are busy it can be noisy due to the lack of soft surfaces. It is clear they are popular because they were close to full on a Sunday night. It was cold weather so we had noodle soup. Giant bowls of steamy goodness, and a plate of bean sprouts, basil and limes to garnish. The ambiance is nice but a little too bright because there are no shades on the track lighting. I have been in brighter. And lots of booths.

Been here for the longest time almost every week after playing ball. The staff is the friendliest staff you'll meet. Very kind, and unafraid to have a conversation. I was impressed especially because we came in with 15 people and we were accommodated for very quickly. The waitress also was able to identify which of the 20+ dishes ordered was for who. Denny's is a cheap place that offers 24/7 service but it is always a solid choice.
Two of us had gone for a late night dinner. My friend had ordered a burger with seasoned fries, he said it was pretty good considering that there was veggie patty and he could add as many toppings to burgers he wanted, he just made the entire burger from scratch. I ordered a peanut butter chocolate milkkshake, it was ordinary but it tasted pretty good, I expected a little more peanut butter mixed with caramel kinda taste but I loved the way it was served to me, one small glass and one 24oz steel glass with a little bit of left over. We ordered the caramel apple crisp which was really good as expected. Servive was friendly and it was good. Milkshake was a let down.
We've eaten here twice in 2 weeks. Both times it was a nice experience. Friendly staff, clean restaurant, and good food. Coupons make it a great deal.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to go for breakfast(even though it was almost noon) this past Sunday. We stumbled upon this place. When we first walked in, you could smell apples and cinnamon. There was about a 10 minute wait. The line moved surprisingly fast considering the place was jam packed. The hostess was extremely friendly, and well organized as she sat down each group of people. Once we were seated, she informed us of who would be our server. About two minutes later our server came over and got our drink order. As we looked at the menu, our coffee came. The coffee was delicious! I got the veggie crepe, and my boyfriend got the apple baked pancake. The waitress informed us that it would take 35-45 minutes for the pancake, in case we were in a hurry. That wasn't a problem for us, it was a Sunday fun day! The waitress made sure we had our coffees full while we waited. Our food came out and holy cow!! It was well worth the wait! The apple pancake was steaming and it melted in your mouth! The veggie crepe was very tasty! They actually used all fresh vegetables which is the way it should be. We have been to other "brunch cafes" who didn't and also didn't know how to season ANYTHING! (Btw this place is on lake street in Roselle, don't waste your time or money) We ended up taking half the pancake home, it's plenty to share. For the amazing service and high quality of food, we will most definitely be back and making this a regular spot!
It's a 2.5 - 3 stars type place. Food is decent to good depending on what you order. For example, the hash browns we had lacked salt, were undercooked and somewhat cold. The omelettes were pretty decent overall. Good portion size. Try their one omelette w/ dry figs, apples, Goat cheese and Pancetta. It has a French name. It was good. Their specialty Pancakes were tasty, not the best but good enough. Service was very good. Very good menu variety including the specials. It's reasonably priced. It gets pretty busy over the weekends. It's not Walker Bros, Richard Walker, etc type good of a breakfast/ brunch place, in my opinion, but still good enough to go every so often depending on how you like it. Check it out.
Good service but bad experience. This place is always packed but the service to get you seated is great. My wife and I specifically ordered veg omelet and veg skillet with no meat. Normally places don't make this mistake but half way down the skillet, my wife came across a piece of sausage. That was definitely a turn off specially if she is a pure veg all her life. The manager stopped to apologize but the damage was done.

In Town for a few days. This was close to my hotel. Came based on Yelp reviews. Ordered just a plain hamburger, and house chips. Fantastic, would definitely return. Burger was huge and actually cooked the way I ordered it. Huge juicy patty on a toasted bun, couldn't eat it all. Server was attentive, but not overly so.
Still my favorite burger in Illinois poss the U.S. From sitting at the bar And watching Debbie make your burger while waiting on the rest of her guests it's an art. The Parmesan burger with the fresh grated and melted cheese followed by the garlic butter is to die for Period! Great beers on tap too!! Check it out you won't be disappointed
We've been here a handful of times now and the burgers have wavered between acceptable and outstanding, but I'm generally happy with them and appreciate their regularly rotating beers on tap. The Assembly is a close and convenient place to grab a bite with my Mother-in-Law. She typically gets the Grilled Ribeye Steak. It wasn't so impressive the first time around, but she got it with the special "Char-Crust" last time and I felt genuinely jealous of her meal choice since I wasn't sure if I'd like what I ordered that night. Their basic burgers are just that and I'm OK with it. I've also tried the Macaroni & Cheese Burger, but I don't think I saw it on the menu last time. It may have been a specialty item and I can't say as I'm sad to see it go if that's the case. I'm somewhat certain it was Kraft mac on top of an overcooked patty and sandwiched between a dry bun. I get down with the blue box every now and then, but it had no flavor when added to something that substantial. I most recently had the Parmesan Burger and really enjoyed it. I upgraded to the pretzel bun but ended up deconstructing it and eating only the meat and toppings. For some reason the pretzel buns come out dry and are very dense. But it's so much food that you don't miss the bread. Their appetizers are very large and our favorite is the Fried Pickles with their housemade ranch sauce. I was really disappointed at our last trip out here because their giant TV flashed the Yelp logo and asked you to check in on the app before you paid your bill. I hadn't seen a Yelp promo pop up when I checked in before we went inside, so I checked my Yelp Deals page and didn't see anything listed for them there either. We asked our waitress and she had to ask another employee. We were basically told we were mislead by the wordage (at worst) or incorrectly assumed we'd get a discount since it specifically mentioned the bill (at best). In essence, checking in here will do nothing more for you than show others you were there and promoted them, which you could really do at any time before or after the bill. So why mention it? "Don't forget to check in on Yelp!" or "We're on Yelp!" would be more fitting.

I can sum it up in one word: YUM! I've tried many things on the menu and loved them all. Chicken pad thai, chicken panang curry, pad see iew, crab rangoon, Tom yum soup... all excellent. Service when dining in can be a little slow, but it seems like most of their business is take-out. The quality of the take-out/delivery is just as good as dine-in.
had the chicken Pad thai - very good. wife has a platter, also liked it. that and very sweet plum wine.
We ordered delivery one Friday night. Food was brought in a decent amount of time. Good but nothing super remarkable. Maybe it would have been better if we went there but it was ok typical thai. Just meh.
