The best Potbelly's I've EVER been to. Yes, it's a chain, but, believe it or not, not all chains are created equally. The Glen location is far superior to others I've been to. First of all, the manager has been there forever. Every time I go in I'm treated like the only customer around. I stopped in the other day for a quick bite with my kiddos and ordered up the new Mediterranean sandwich: Hummus, feta, cucumbers, roasted red peppers, and artichokes. There was a bit of confusion regarding my order, and I realized after eating half my sandwich I was eating only feta cheese and lettuce. I took it up and showed them what happened, and with no questions asked, the manager quickly had another sandwich in the making. Last time I was at this stop they ran out of syrup for the soda, but in no time at all the team had it up and running again. They run a tight ship here and the employees take so much pride in their jobs. Great job guys! Happy to stop by for a quick bite when I'm in the area. Keep it up!

The worst Potbelly I've ever been to! I don't know what on earth they were doing here, but the sandwich makers were by far the SLOWEST makers I've ever experienced. I should have known that would be the case when we walked in and the line was 20 people deep. We thought, "Oh, it's just lunchtime!". No. No. Slowest.sandwich.makers.ever. I've never waited 20 minutes at a Potbelly before. Until today...

Maybe it was a Saturday night, but this place was running really slow. There were 4-people ahead of us and it took a bit for our order to get through. They had only one person manning the sammich-making station. Other than that, the place is your typical Potbelly's. Sandwiches were tasty. I ordered the grilled chicken (no cheese), thin-cut, on wholewheat bread. Everything but oil and mayo for this guy. Potbellys is definitely my go-to sandwich chain place due to their somewhat healthier options. BATHROOM REVIEW: The bathroom was surprisingly clean. It was nice to pee while having music pumped in the bathroom. It makes the awkward silence when peeing next to someone less awkward. From looking at the stall, it was very roomy and clean. Sit or squat? Sit!

Good food and service. Always meets expectations. Need to add some heat during the cold days. Staff is always kind to children.

I would eat Potbelly's for lunch everyday if I could... Something about the combination of buttery bread and brown mustard... turkey, lettuce, tomato, onion, peppers, and pickles just add to the perfection. Their shakes are yummy, and the service is super friendly...

I've eaten here probably 30 times... it's time for a review. I didn't realize Giardiniera was a Chicago thing until we moved away 10 years ago and pretty much couldn't find it in any stores or at any sandwich places across the country. FOOD: My ultimate favorite: * Big Wreck (salami, roast beef, turkey, ham, and swiss) with everything (mayo, mustard, hot peppers, lettuce, tomato, pickle, oil, Italian seasoning), no onions, but extra pickles, extra hot peppers, and then even more hot peppers on the side (the Giardiniera mix can also be purchased separately, but you can just ask for a bunch)... oh man, my mouth waters every time I think of it! Sure, I've tried other sandwiches here (like grilled chicken, turkey, and roast beef), but the wreck is the best of the best... it's true perfection. Check it out, and you'll be hooked forever. SERVICE: like anywhere, it varies, but they're usually fine; line can be slow depending on who is preparing the food and ringing people up AMBIANCE: like all other locations; has older look and feel with oddball trinkets hanging on the wall; this location is a bit smaller than a few others in the area, but you can usually find seating pretty easily even during the lunch rush LOCATION: in The Glen Town Center, next door to the movie theater; look for the navy blue awnings PARKING: free nearby along the road, or in back parking garage; be aware of time limit parking signs if you're also shopping or watching a movie next door

Wake's you up!!! lol!! Their oatmeal chocolate cookies are so "YUMMY" can't get enough of em!! By the time, I go home I'de probably gained weight! lol Soups!! are delish!!! and their potato chips oh my!! Too bad, they don't have a chain out in LA area!!! sighed

Toasted sammies. Yum. The "bigs" were new to me since the last time I've dropped into a Potbelly's. For a $1 more, you can get a sammich that's about 30% bigger. The guy behind the counter said they were selling well. My roast beef on wheat was satisfying, and Potbelly's has sammies distinctively different than Quizno's and Subway. P.S. The moose tracks ice cream here (it's Homer's) is to die for, and a cone is a dollar and some change. Score!

The Wreck or Smoked Ham are my sandwiches of choice at Potbelly's. Paired with their loaded potato soup (served Wednesdays and Thursdays), this soup and sandwich meal always leaves me satisfied. I remember a few years ago, a huge storm passed by the area. I had just gotten my order that included like 5 sandwiches and soup, when the power went out in the area. With threat of a tornado, we evacuated to the theater next door, and I left my food at the register. After everything cleared, I went back to Potbelly's where I was able to get my food for free!!! Tornado Warning, Free food, = Totally worth it..... On a side note, once the storm had passed, a Coca Cola truck rolls up in front of the theater to make his delivery. Proving once again that nothing can stop the delivery of carbonated beverages!!

Potbelly used to be excellent, but don't get me wrong it is still good. They have expanded nationwide, and to go with expanded go's lower quality. The italian sub is great, loaded with salami, pepperoni, and other italian meats also throw some hot peppers in there, and you have a sandwich. There prices aren't bad at 4.50 for a regular and 5.50 for a big. just a great place.

I am usually a fan of Potbellys but this particular location has one major factor that prevents me from frequenting -- the acoustics. It is incredibly loud in there. The sound just bounces off the walls until you head spins. It is truly an awful experience if there are loud talkers or unruly children around. I arrive with an appetite. I leave with a headache.

A great fast food alternative. Oven toasted sandwiches that you can order with meatballs, cold cuts, veggie and tuna or chicken salad. Standard toppings include pickles, tomatoes, mustard, mayo and Italian seasonings. Their smoothies and milkshakes are excellent and they also have a interesting variety of soft drinks. The pop includes Jones and Cricket (cringing, bec. a Chicago should never say...) sodas. A perfect place for a quick lunch during the work week or if you need a quick bite to eat with the kids.

One thing Chicago has that San Francisco is totally missing out on is Potbelly's. The sandwiches are heavenly, toasted to perfection with your choice of mushrooms, provolone cheese, and hot peppers. Surprisingly, one of the better sandwiches is the vegetarian which is piled high with mushrooms, thinly sliced pickles, and several slices of American, Swiss and Provolone cheese. Unlike Subway and Quizno's, the sandwiches are really hearty and don't have that processed flavor you'll find at most franchises. I'll definitely miss Potbelly's -- hopefully they'll open some locations in the Philadelphia area.
