The #43 (philly cheese steak with chipotle sauce) is soooo tasty and crave worthy! Staff have always been friendly as well.

I frequent this location often and some of the employees recognize me and already know what I want. I love that! The #43 is my favorite. Never had a bad sandwich here or at any of the Jersey Mike's for that matter. I wish they'd have the rosemary Parmesan bread year round.

I've visited Jersey Mike's a few times since my last review, and I've enjoyed the sandwiches every time (I still advise against a salad). The staff is friendly and make an effort to make small talk with their customers. That implies a good hiring process for Jersey Mike's which you always want with fast casual restaurants. I generally order the turkey sub (number 7); I find it's the cheapest sub that still includes provolone along with the standard toppings. It's a standard sub with lettuce, tomatoes, etc and boar's head meats, so you'll want to get it "mike's way". Mike's way is simply red wine vinegar, a mix of canola/olive oil, salt, and oregano. Good to add to your meals at home and these sandwiches in general are easy to make. This location also offers a student special for $7.99 that includes a regular sub, chips, and a drink.

Great food....#7 is amazing! Staff is always so friendly and nice. Best sub place around...fresh bread, meat and cheese.

The staff here is probably the most friendliest I have ever seen at any food place. The food is great, but it's the staff that keeps my business.

I work at a business that is local to this store and of course we ordered a large order quite a few times. And no matter how many times we go in there whether as employees from down the street or as a normal customer, me and my crew has always received great customer service and great sandwiches!!! The management is very personable and makes you feel important even as a single customer. Love this place!!

I enjoy Jersey Mike's as a Sub joint for several reasons- 1. I love that they slice my food to order. 2. I love that they have the best gluten free option with their Sub in a Tub. 3. The local Jersey Mike's locations, operated by the same family, are extremely supportive of the local school communities. 4. My husband actually likes this sub place and doesn't like any others :) Great service, very clean facility, and delicious food- I'll be coming back for sure!

Thank you Jersey Mike's for NOT skimping on the cheese on veggie sandwiches unlike some sub places I know...cough...subway...cough. I didn't realize this place was tucked away in a strip mall right off Randall Road. I was looking for a sandwich place for a real quick lunch, and this place delivered. Service was quick and courteous, and there were no other sandwich places in the immediate vicinity. Good bread, good veggies, and good cheese makes a pretty good sub sandwich. However, the sandwich was not very tasty - probably because you can't do too much with lettuce, tomato, green pepper, banana pepper, cucumbers, and cheese. I wouldn't say it was amazing, but my mom seems to really like it. I feel bad giving this place three stars because it probably deserves four. I'm sure the other sandwiches are tastier than the veggie. Three stars means A-OK, and Jersey Mike's is A-OK.

Although the service is great and the place is clean, I cant get over the taste of the food. They either have stale bread, over dressed (in their special sauce) sandwiches, or over onionfied lettuce. I have tried to like their food, but just cant. Better off to go to Jimmy Johns.

Since moving back to the suburbs I have been on the lookout for a good veggie sub place...I have found that there aren't really a lot of choices that aren't chains. Subway...is well Subway... No thanks. And the Subway by my house the weird owner asked me how much I paid for my car out of nowhere? Really I came here to get a sandwich...not to tell you how much I paid for my SUV...uncomfortable and WEIRDO. Jimmy Johns was just gross (but the people are nice) So here I went into Jersey Mike's...not a lot of topping choices but more than Jimmy Johns but way less than Subway. Employee one (man): super duper nice was nice enough to show me the sizes of their sandwiches...took the time to start my sandwich and answer all of my questions Employee two (woman): this is the girl who put my sub together...unfriendly look annoyed Employee three (man): really nice and pleasant...he is the one who wrapped my sub. Funny and charismatic Employee four (woman): this woman was also unpleasant-no smile nothing she just wanted me to pay and get he heck out (that is how she made me feel) The sub was good I would come back---except for the 2 unpleasant ladies who were working that day... Ladies- I have a hint for you...be nice and don't be such jerks! You work with the public throw a smile on your face and be nice to your customers! No one is forcing you to work there! Maybe it's because they haven't taught you manners in high school yet, maybe you missed that day at school. Maybe I'll try another location. Because this location and the unpleasant teenage female employees SUCK!

Best sub shop compared to subway or jimmy johns better bread and they slice the meat while you wait. They are priced higher but the sandwiches use better ingredients.they have really yummy hot ingredients sandwiches that are my favorite This will be my goto sandwich place for now on

If you need a different chain sub shop to go to, Jersey Mikes is the place for you. I have been to far superior local/family owned sub shops, but this is one of the best chain shops. Very good service, tasty subs and good serving sizes. I usually get the BLT, Mikes way of course :) However , a warning. Not something you eat everyday. Its just not that healthy for you. A good once in a while treat tho.

My husband and I both love Jersey Mike's. We've been to 2 different locations in the area and I have been very impressed with them. I have very high expectations for customer service and they have never failed to meet my expectations. They have been warm and friendly every time. They are efficient and the sandwiches are not sloppy. I love that I can watch them slice the meat right there. And the sandwiches are great too! I'm sure we'll return many times and, thanks to consistency across the two shops we'll be looking for them when we travel.

Alright, IMO these are the best subs in the area. Obviously better than Jimmy John's or Subway. Better prices and larger sandwiches than Potbelly's. I'd give it 5 stars, but... You guys need to seriously stop interrogating customers. Seriously. Manager, whoever you are, listen to me: I have chosen to NOT eat at your restaurant because I cannot take the questions anymore. YOU ARE LOSING MONEY. Do you understand? Customers: If you go in to this restaurant, be prepared to be asked 2+ questions from the staff to make it seem like they give a crap about you. The most recent pointless question I received was: "So...Did you watch any golf today--OR--are you a a golfer"? Geez just give me my food. For fun, try giving them answers that can't possibly be correct just to see if they're paying attention. For example, when they ask what your job is, try saying Lion Tamer or something like that. See how it goes. Should be mildly entertaining until you can escape with your sub.

  • S C.

Love this place! You get to watch them slice the meat right in front of you old-fashioned deli style. Plus, they like to engage in conversation while making your sandwiches so get used to that. And when they ask if you want it 'Mike's Way' they mean everything on it. #13 (The Original Italian) is my personal favorite. And #17 (Jersey Mike's Famous Philly) is delicious. Even better try #54 (The Big Kahuna Cheese Steak) but I warn you this one can be a bit greasy.

Having moved to the Chicago area from South Jersey over 30 years ago, I'd learned to do "widdout" the occasional cheese steak because there was never any place in Chicagoland that could make a decent one, let alone a delicious one. I learned to make them myself and, while time consuming and pretty messy, satisfied the urge. And subs (or Hoagies, as we called them)? Nothing out here ever came close to the taste of the proper seasonings and fresh cold cuts. Until now. I heard about Jersey Mike's and read the Yelps and was expecting to be underwhelmed but I believe I can officially hang up my chopping spatula! I called JM's on Randall in Geneva asking about catering for our Christmas Eve get-together. Although they were closing at 6:00pm that evening, they would gladly deliver by 5:00pm. A big thing about East Coast cheese steaks and subs is the bread, and the bread used at JM's was just right, ever so slightly crusty on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside with just the right amount of bread so the ingredients are the stars of the sandwich. Suffice it to say that our Christmas Eve meal, Philly-style, was great...right down to the yummy Kosher pickles. Mostly cheese steaks, but we also had the Jersey Favorite sub, the Chicken Parm, the Tuna and a Big Kahuna and all got high marks for flavor. I understand this is a franchise and I'm not sure if quality will vary from location to location, but to all you Fox Valley transplants from the Philly area looking for a taste to rival the better South Philly/South Jersey sub shops, this is the place!

I didnt know what to expect from Jersey Mikes. Kind of thought it would be like all the other sub sandwich places, but I was really impressed that they slice the meat and cheese right before they put it on your sandwich. All the ingredients are very fresh, the employees are very welcoming and the decor is pretty decent for a quick serve. I also really like that their sandwiches are more of an authentic deli taste than say a subway sandwich. As a result, it takes a bit longer than the other chains to get your sammie but its totally worth the wait. You also get a lot of bang for your buck as the size of these subs would even impress Bill Cosby. The mini is about 5 inches, regular is about 8 maybe and the giant is massive.

Best sandwiches ever! Try the 5, the 12, the 43, try 'em all! I prefer to get my sandwich Mike's Way, but have it how you like! They slice the meat right in front of you. Never heard of the meat? They'll gladly let you try a slice. The service is super-friendly at this location, and I know this place will be here for a very long time! Enjoy...over and over again!!! *just south of the Border's on the west side of Randall

Jersey Mike's was pretty good. I got the vegetarian sub and I thought it was very good and flavorful thanks to the dressing. I'm not sure if it would have been good if I got it to go since it was starting to get a little soggy as I finished it, but if you're eating there it's good anyway. My mom recommended this place to me and I'm glad she did or else I probably wouldn't have suggested eating there when my boyfriend and I were doing some shopping on Randall Rd. He got one of the cheese steak sandwiches I think and he said it was really good. I don't know if I'd go out of my way to go here again, but if I'm nearby I wouldn't be opposed to it. Although I kind of agree with the other reviewers who mentioned how over-the-top friendly the staff was... it was a little awkward. I don't want to be interrogated about my day while I'm waiting to pay for dinner. In fact I think they might be the reason I went with 3 stars instead of 4. I guess I'd say the food is 4-star-worthy but the experience was 2.5 or 3.

  • Len W.

I wasn't impressed. I've had way better at Fontano's. Even Potbelly's is better. So they slice the meats to order. Big deal. They still have no flavor. And the bread tastes like styrofoam. And counter staff, I know you're told to be engaging, but stop asking me 2 dozen questions about how my day is going. Just get me my food and shut up.

I like this place. I've had the ham sub, the turkey sub, and the chicken philly. Turkey sub the best out of the three. I'm trying to avoid high-fat meats otherwise I'd like to try their salamis and prosciutto selections. "Mike's Way" subs are good but I prefer putting the spicy sauce on it rather than the oil & vinegar. Nice people, good service here. I go at least once a week.

Ok, now that I've been here now as well as the St. Charles one (for their VIP Grand Opening Night) I can see why it so popular. It's the atmosphere. The whole Italian style Deli feel. Still have the same review for how their subs are but a little bit pricy for just a sub sandwich and now I can see why. Your paying for atmosphere.

So I was ready to be disappointed - after all born in Philadelphia and lived in NJ - who knew? I am a south Jersey person - Ocean City, Avalon, Stone Harbor, Cape May so still alittle wary with the big Point Pleasant sign. WOW - great hoagies, sliced up fresh, suggested vinegar NOT mayo - the way a REAL hoagie is made. Great, just great!! I may go try a cheesesteak...we'll see. My only comment to those of you who know South Philly and the bread - it is not quite it but it is darn close. I also am all about the customer service and have to say the staff at this location was friendly and efficient. We were even teasing them that we were real NJ people here to test the product, and they went right along. Funny - I was at Subway in Campton yesterday - not only is the service just plain terrible there - the product lacks any depth - kind of like getting Chinese food that is frozen and the zapped locally. Go to Jersey Mike's you will like it!!

Tried out Jeraey Mikes in the early afternoon on a Saturday. There was no wait, and plenty of employees ready to help. The selection is good, with a lot of choices, hot and cold. Sizes are mini, reg and colossal. I had the regular size classic Italian sub, and my son had the colossal chicken Parmesan sub, hot. Choice of breads was weak, white or wheat. We did not order drinks or chips, just two sandwiches. $20 was the total. I was hoping for the best sandwich ever, as I could have had four foot longs at subway at this price. The classic Italian sub had tons of meat on it. Perhaps an inch thick. I could not wait to take a bite. They had lettuce, onion, and tomato for toppings. Not much else. I took a bite and was amazed. All this stuff on bread tasted like one thing, oregano. The flavor overpowered everything. I tried a slice of ham individually. Tasteless. When I get a sub, I want to taste all the flavors of meats, toppings, bread and condiments. Not just one spice. The chicken parm sandwich was enjoyed by my son, but appeared to me to be an 18" slab of chicken, tomato sauce and mozzerella cheese. There are many sub sandwich choices out there, and I will try them all before I return here.
