After I got done doing my review for the local Subway, I got a little hungry...so I decided to try Meatheads out I've never heard of the place, and from as far as I could see off of Rt. 30, it could have just been a cute name for a butcher's shop After going on Yelp! To check in, however, I noticed that they served burgers (yes, I checked in before I knew what the place was...sue me!) As I walked up to the front door, they had a menu up in the window...with build-a-burgers The young man at the front was pretty helpful in knowing what the heck to do here, but being this was very Five Guys-esque...I sorta got the idea Now compared to Five Guys, this place is a bit more upscale. The store is more done up, with various condiments in between to two AWESOME coke dispensers that have become popular with burger joints recently On the table, they even have mills filled with peppercorn and sea salt...very nice! The server came out to hand out the food, which was a nice touch, and while looking around, I saw that they were BIG into promoting the local community Now time for the GRUB Compared to Five Guys, the burgers were missing something. Maybe it was because it was made from 2 small dripping patties, rather than one big dripping one, but the taste itself was just OK I ordered the Cajun fries, which were a good portion, not in the abundance that the other place give you, and they were cut thin The thinness was good...just like the thickness is good With that said, I REALLY liked the flavor of Meathead's Cajun fries over the other guys...there was just a good extra taste to them All-in-all, my experience here was good. If you don't want to travel 20-25 minutes from the NL / Mokena / Frankfort area to get up to Orland Park, I would definitely go frequent this place...

It was my first time trying Meatheads and I can honestly say I'll be back for more. I ordered the Hawaiian burger with Cajun fries. I've been to five guys and smash burger but Meathead's burgers have them beat.

Made to order great tasting burgers and the new england srye footlong alone worth tge trip if u like new england sryle grilled dogs and split buns, yummy. Going weekly now cant say that about too many places. Why go to a bk or mcds or wendys with this around. U get what u pay for.

Love this place! My husband and I love the wedge salads and of course, the burgers and fries (huge portions) - the service is the best in the area. Clean, friendly, and a good selection of menu items for everyone. We've dealt with Emma, Andy, and Derek and they always have a smile when we walk in the door and are helpful if we have any questions. Highly recommend this place for food and service! Very well trained staff!

As someone who is giving up meat in the next few weeks, the decision to come here was pure curiosity. I had seen a Meatheads out in Willowbrook but when I noticed the one near my work spring up, I added it to the list of places for my tuesday lunch with the boyfriend. We were both really happy with our meal. For like $16, we got two burgers, split a large fries, and a drink. I was surprised that the price didn't add up to more than $20. I built a 1/3 burger with mushrooms and roasted red peppers and a sauce. It was pretty good overall. Burgers were a little greasy but not horribly bad. I dislike burgers that drip with grease. My boyfriend also liked his burger that he built. He asked for a little cup of chili on the side and really liked the chili, said it was better than he expected. We both really like the cajun fries as well as the sauces they have out to select from. He usually mixes ketchup and hot sauce, but here they had a jalapeno ketchup that he tried. My only regret was not having the idea for one of us to get a chicken sandwich and split the burger and sandwich so we can try both. As far as I'm concerned, this is a way better choice over the vast majority of fast food chains. I never eat at McDonalds or Burger King or places like that. I'm an occasional eater at culvers, steak n shake, and wendys, but the burgers at Meatheads was better than those places. Definitely give this place a try!

The burger was pretty good, decent for a fast food type of establishment and the shake was excellent but the whole experience was made so enjoyable by the employeethere today named, Andee. Its not too often that you see anyone with such a great attitude, not only that but he was polite and helpful to the point that I can even say he went above and beyond to help us. I am a retail manager and my job would be so much easier if all of my employees were as nice as Andee!

Honestly, kind of reminds me of Culver's in burger style, which I'm not really a fan of. Barely any meat, and the burger is too crispy (probably because it is pounded so thin). But the different burger options are pretty awesome. Eggs & blue cheese? Why the heck not? Would I come here again? Probably. Will it be my absolutely, gotta-have-it first choice? No.

Just went for the first time today for lunch and it was delicious! Had an Original Meathead 1/3 burger (which is actually 2 patties) with the usual fixings + grilled onions and American Cheese. High quality ingredients, esp the cheese (which is key). The fries were fresh cut and excellent as well.

The young lady at the counter taking orders was one of the most pleasant people. The burgers were amazing & the same young lady came & checked in on us making suggestions for our next visit. Their soda machines were great. It was awesome have such a variety. Definitely going back!

I had the Cajun sunrise burger and my wife had the California. We split an order of fries. Burgers were juicy and I was full with the third pounder. The $20 price tag with a drink was a little steep but I will go back to try something else when I'm in the mood for a burger. Oh....chipotle ketchup on the fries...yum.

I had to think for a moment on whether to give Meatheads four or five stars. On one hand they are a little bit more expensive than most burger joints, so I was thinking to remove one star for value but then thought about it and realized that every time that we were in the service was excellent. The staff is always friendly and we've had the manager offer to get refills for us. So, when all is said and done I decided that more than justified the five star review. Meatheads reminds me a lot of Five Guys Burgers, they have a fairly limited menu but what they do they do very well. That is not to say the menu is boring, as the "chef-inspired" burgers are quite varied. I've had: The Cajun Sunrise, which includes a fried egg, blue cheese, bacon and jalapenos and loved it. A bit messy, but darn worth it! If you've never had a fried egg on top of your burger, try it! The Californian, which has pepper jack cheese, cucumber wasabi sauce and avocado on it. This was also delicious with the bit of a kick from the wasabi balanced nicely by the avocado. The NY Reuben, which at first just seemed odd to me. I'm a big fan of Reuben sandwiches so trying one with a burger instead of corned beef was questionable but it was actually quite awesome! It is served on marble rye with Swiss cheese, thousand island dressing and of course sauerkraut. As for the "normal" burgers, there are a ton of toppings to satisfy whatever you're craving from the aforementioned fried egg, bacon, avocado, chili, giardiniera, mushrooms and even pineapple! The fries are thin cut and crispy, I don't believe we've had anything but the Cajun fries which are seasoned nicely. They also have two of the awesome Coke Freestyle machines which are a blast to play with! Who knew Vanilla Root Beer was so good? Or Raspberry Coke? You could come here every day and it would take months to try all the different combinations these machines can throw at you. Meatheads is definitely on my recommend list as the food and service are excellent and the menu varied enough that you can always find something new to try! 5-Stars all the way!

I've been meaning to start yelping for a long time now, and I guess I've been waiting for an experience awesome enough or disappointing enough to inspire me to actually sit down and do it. And sad to say, it is with disappointment that I post my first review... A co-worker told me about Meatheads, so I looked at their website which gave me the impression of a slightly more upscale Five Guys which sounded great to me. To their credit, the decor in the restaurant is quite nice. The staff were all competent, efficient, and friendly. And then we got the food. I really enjoyed the cajun fries. I tend to be wary of fresh cut fries, having been served plenty of soggy, floppy versions, but Meathead's were quite good - thin, crispy, only as greasy as they ought to be, and nicely seasoned. Our sandwiches were another story - basically upscale toppings on cafeteria quality meat. Not a good thing for a place with "meat" in its name. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado and bacon added. The toppings were all fresh and good, but the chicken itself was incredibly salty and processed-tasting. I expect it came frozen in a bag, swimming in a solution of salt and preservatives. The saltiness of the chicken actually overpowered the saltiness of the bacon! Same basic concept with my husband's "cajun sunrise" burger. Good toppings, fresh fried egg all on top of a hamburger patty that almost certainly started out the day as a processed, frozen hockey puck. Everything else was really pretty good, but when the meat, the star of the show is a trainwreck, and an expensive trainwreck at that, it's hard to appreciate the quality of the supporting players.

I had dinner here with my wife and our friend, specifically because we had vouchers for free burgers. None of us had ever eaten here, but had heard good things. At first, it seems a lot like Five Guys, save for sacks of potatoes and free peanuts. It's also pricey, like Five Guys. The burgers were tasty and the cajun fries were really good. A large order is enough for 3-4 people. I knew my burger was free, so I loaded up on add-ons for it. The bacon is normally $1 and it's not really worth it. Mine was over-cooked and it came in small pieces which kept falling out of the burger. I also added a fried egg, which I believe is also normally $1. It was cooked all the way through, which I don't like. That's just a preference, though. Next time I'll know to ask. Like I said, it's pricey. Before the cost of the burgers was taken off of our bill, the total was over $25 for just me and my wife. With just two drinks, a large fry and cheese sauce, our total was over $8. So this isn't a place we will probably visit often, but we will definitely go again. The staff is really friendly and the service was quick. I'll definitely recommend it to family and friends. It's great to have a place like this in Frankfort.

Came here with my son on a Saturday. Very friendly staff throughout. Manager check on is twice. All the burgers are great and cooked to perfection. The basket of cajan fries enough for 3.... A little pricy but still a great experience.

Love this place. Consistently good....great staff, food and manager. Phil is attentive and has been that way from the day they opened. Can't say a bad thing about Meatheads. If you haven't tried it yet...do!

Nice burgers, am a big fan of the california burger. A little heavy on the grease, but overall very good.

The first of the "gourmet" burger joints to hit the Lincolnway area. Big, spendy burgers. Lots of have-it-your-way options. Cheese on the burgers didn't reach melty-awesome. I think they were probably trying to serve 'em up as fast as they could. Excellent french fries that arrived tableside a bit cooled off. Fun beverage/soda dispensers with flavor add in choices. Can be tricky to find a table at busier times, you order and wait (and wait) for the food to arrive, so tables turn a bit slower than at Five Guys. If half stars were an option, Meatheads would be a solid 3.5

Meatheads is a great place for anybody, especially students in district 210. (Lincoln-Way Highschool) All students get free drinks! The food is great and it is the cleanest eating establishment I have ever been in. The place is spotless from the booths to the bathrooms. I was impressed enough to want to post this!

I tried Meatheads for the first time in Bloomington when I was going to Illinois State and loved it. I was really excited when one opened in Frankfort, and was not let down with the times I visited. The service is always friendly, without being overbearing or annoying. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, and the peppermint holiday shake is to die for. Real candy canes... doesn't get better than that! The french fries are amazing, especially dipped in the house cheese sauce. There are a lot of really great burger combinations, as well as unique ingredients to add to build your own as well. I like Meatheads a lot better than Five Guys and Smash Burger. Be prepared for a LOT of food- I usually order the kids hamburger and ask to have it cut in half so it's easier to maneuver.

Simply put, DELISH!! Great burger on a tasty bun & yummy fries. Lots of nice folks working there (including Phil), truly clean tables & floor, and a clean ladies' room.

Solid burgers. Not the best I've ever had, but better than most, and certainly the best I've found in the neighborhood so far.

Walked in and greeted by several people. The service was outstanding and the food was superb! I had the "Hawaiian", which came highly recommended by the staff. Grilled chicken topped with pepperjack cheese, jalapenos, bacon and an a sweet bbq sauce! Too bad the location is tucked away because this place could be a real crowd pleaser. I have recommended Meatheads to my friends. I loved it and can't wait to go back. The best sandwich I've had in a really long time!

Burgers easily compete with 5 guys on taste but could be better on health if all their claims our true. Generous amount of fries sweetens the deal. They post several Chef designed burgers but you also have the option of "build your own". Prices are close to 5 guys as well. It's worth the visit.

Have been to other meatheads and was so excited to see one open near me. The food was excellent and the service was friendly and amazing! Last week we headed there for lunch and they were closed due to power outage. Not only did they have someone stand outside and explain but they handed out coupons for free burgers as an apology. We headed there the next day and not only was the 1/2lb burger free but so was any add on!! Amazing customer service!!

Everyone Monday be and a few friends find a new place to eat. My buddy recommended we try this place. I was not disappointed! That day they had a special which included a regular fry. I asked to upgrade it and she said they couldn't on that special. So, she hooks me up with a ton of fries for the regular price. The burger was DELICIOUS! They even have one of those Coke fountain drink machines that make any flavor you could dream of. There was a very short wait for the food. The staff was very friendly. The place was very clean. Try it out, you won't be disappointed! I'll definitely be going back with friends and family to expose them to this great restaurant.

After a night of drinking Bogle Phantom and watching a an awful nfl game I was hungry for a burger. I popped in for lunch. I got the meathead with bacon, mushrooms, onions, lettuce and a chili cheese fry. It was awesome. This is my go to burger place in Frankfort. Burger had great flavor. Service was fast and friendly. Cant wait to go back.

As Archie Bunker would say, "dead from the neck up". Well the service wasn't that bad, but then again they are mostly high school kids. Well it's time again for another birthday dinner and most of the family is available. So I am trying to decide, last minute again, between a new burger place, Meatheads (hence the All in the Family reference above) that my wife tells me, "you can smell all over Frankfort" or one of our favorite Japanese restaurants, Fujis. I still have to do a review on Fujis sometime, I keep forgetting. So we each place our orders at the register. My oldest son orders a 4 piece Chicken Tender for $5.75, regular fries for $2.00, and a beverage for $2.00 dollars. My wife orders a Meathead burger, with swiss cheese and provolone cheese for $5.75, regular fries for $2.00, and a beverage for $2.00 dollars. My youngest son ordered a Meathead burger for $4.75, regular fries for $2.00, and a beverage for $2.00 dollars. My youngest daughter orders a 4 piece Chicken Tender for $5.75, regular fries for $2.00, and a beverage for $2.00 dollars. Finally the birthday boy, that would be me of course, orders the Texas Ranch Meathead burger with Cheddar cheese, Bacon, a bacon ranch dressing, tomato and lettuce all for $6.75, Cajun fries for $2.00, a Chili Cheese Dog for $4.50 and a beverage for $2.00 dollars. Our total bill came to roughly $55 dollars. My wife and I both thought our burgers were really good, greasy and expensive but tasted truly good. The meat it self and toppings all were very flavorful and plentiful. My youngest son, who is a cheese burger expert thought his burger was just average. The Cajun fries were also good, a bit on the salty side but good. They had just the right amount of seasoning. Everyone thought the regular fries were just okay, a little bit on the bland side and nothing truly special. The chicken tenders were just average too. The breading seemed to have a strange after taste to it. The chicken was tender but the breading kind of threw everything off. My older son and younger daughter were not impressed at all. I thought the chili cheese dog was good, plenty of toppings. There was no hot dog bun but a piece of toasted bread that almost seemed like I was eating a piece of french toast without the sweetness of french toast. So overall we have to give Meatheads an average rating. There were very good items and some not so good items. The price point was on the high side. The service was just average. No one was super friendly but no one was down right rude either. So it is always good to give a new place a try but I think next time we are in the area we will go next door to try the new Red Mango or the Chipotle.

I really really wanted to love this place. I want my never ending quest for my favorite burger joint to be over. I grow weary of the constant struggle in my mind of settling for the fake beef patty from the national chains and I just want to find local place that I can say damn that's a good burger. Sorry but Meatheads is not it. The place was very new and very clean. The decor has a definite nod to Frankfort and the surrounding high schools giving it a local feel that I think is a neat touch. Our service was prompt and the food did not take a long time to come out. Price wise I would say that it is of course more expensive than your national chains but I didn't feel like it was to high of a price point for what we had. The burgers come with a variety of toppings and I had a Cheese burger with bacon and a fried egg. Now to the meat and potatoes....after all that's really why you're reading this isn't it ? The fries were fresh cut and pretty good. They were crisp and fresh and not over salted but they didn't knock me off my feet. The burger was about as ordinary as any that I have had at the national chains. It was a decent thickness and cooked well but it was bland and didn't have any punch and it was just a patty. I think I could do better with the frozen pub burger at Jewel. I don't think I will be going back and I am still roaming the vast wasteland of the south burbs on the hunt for that burger.

Today was my first time here. Friendly, and helpful people. They have two coke freestyle machines so as far as drinks go, your covered! Along with one of those huge jugs with tea in it. When I went it was called China Mist Iced Tea, which if u like black tea you're in. The decor was modern, and a very clean environment. The total for two people with custom tailored burgers, large drink, large fry with a cheese cup on the side, came to a few cents shy of $20. To me seeing as I'm on a budget and I paid for the whole thing it's a tad bit higher what I'm used to for a quick bite to eat for two. But, despite my frugality the quality of the food was excellent, and would definitely buy again! I got a 1/3 lb. burger with provolone (comes with two cheese slices), mayo, bacon, and jalapeños on the side. These jalapeños were THE freshest I've EVER seen jalapeños anywhere. A vibrant looking green, that were SO fresh they looked plastic! And delicious! I give 4/5 stars because I thought the seats weren't that comfortable and solid wood doesn't appeal to me as a seat. Other than that def. recommend, and enjoy!

If your looking for a greasy over priced burger; this is your place. Drive down the street to portillo's, tribes, pop's... A half step above mcdonalds....

I am so impressed!! The food was great, the price was right, and the service was outstanding! This place really knows how to handle food allergies too. My daughter is allergic to both gluten and dairy, and they were extremely well informed and willing to accommodate! I'll be a regular at this place for sure!

Great food, excellent service. We've been here at least 10 times and we haven't ever had a thing to complain about but plenty of praises to give for the courteous staff and those amazing Cajun fries! Highly recommended.

Excellent Burgers but very Pricey. I would have given them 5 stars if the prices were better. They have a ton of signature sauces for your burger and fries.

Surprisingly good service from a semi sit down restaurant. My kids loved it!

  • Britney L.

I loved my food but the service was terrible. It was a Sunday night and at most there were three families in the dinning room. The line however was to the door with one person taking orders. There was another employee was delicately sweeping the near perfect floor.... Everyone in line was annoyed and I heard grumblings from others that it was taking forever to order a burger. One of my friends actually just sat down and refused to order because the service was so slow. Your store was spotless and I do appreciate the attention to cleanliness but expediting the speed of service is also crucial. Don't have someone cleaning when the line is to the door- when your cafe looks great anyway. REALLY???

  • Angelica G.

Bland Bland N more Bland! Service is great but you can't get off on solely good service. The burger was almost like steak and shake's flat patty, however the seasoning was way off. I'm not sure if its because of the whole natural burger thing that they are serving caveman meat, but I never went back. The fries were good, oh and the cool soda machine which allows you to choose a variety of pop. This is one of those burgers that needs all the trimmings due to its "animalistic" taste.

  • Steven M.

I was told to get the Jamaican fries by a friend. I did and I also got the loaded 1/2lb. The wait was not long at all. It probably took longer to figure out the Coke machine. The burger did not look like a 1/2lb. But it was delicious. Everything was sliding out and the meat was juicy. The fries were another story. they were limp and the flavor was weak. So I covered them in ketchup. The fries are a big thing for me. I would accept a lesser burger for better fries. Pop's is right across the street. maybe we could meet in the middle?

Recently went for lunch and they had run out of hot dogs. Overall it wasn't a great experience. But after writing to corporate I was contacted by the company's executive chef. Not only did he apologize he brought my son a hot dog meal and invited us back to make it up to us. Long story short I have never had a restaurant go out of their way to try and make it up to me for a bad experience. I will patronize this restaurant simply because of the incredible experience and effort they went to to make it up to us. If you ever try them you will find they are some of the friendliest most caring staffs around.

We had Meatheads last night. My only complaint was the price. For example, cheese is an extra dollar which seems fairly absurd. The food was delicious, though! My kids enjoyed it as well. Great food, just expect to pay big money for it if you want more than just a plain burger.

  • Ed K.

Good burgers.. A little slow service wise...but it was lunchtime, love that everything is made fresh, wish they would add onion rings or onion straws. If you like smashburger you'll love Meatheads! One tip for Meatheads manager...turn the music down a few levels

First time here. Nothing special about this place. Looking at the meat in my burger, all I saw was a flat, thin, tasteless piece of meat. The fries were nothing special and kind of tasteless. Big money for nothing better than a Wendy's style experience.....sorry to Wendy's!

I always forget about this place. Then I end up ordering food from somewhere else and hating myself because the food here is awesome! I kept asking my mom how the food was here before my first time. She always gave me vague answers. I knew I had to check it out myself. The staff was so nice. They were friendly and helped me along. They even laughed when I created a huge cluster ordering because apparently I was extra dumb that day. I watched the staff keep busy and keep the dining area extra clean (huge plus!) and overall care about the customers. I ordered a cheeseburger with just about everything on it and split an order of the regular fries. Everything was so delicious! I need to keep this place in mind. It will be especially helpful when I'm eating at my off hours (in between lunch and dinner usually). The food is ready pretty quick. My only real complaint is the size of the fries. They are ridiculously huge. You have to split them. It just makes it difficult when eating alone.

I stopped by this place for a burger to go. I got a 1/3 pounder with ketchup mustard pickle onion(I didn't want one of the chef specials, too messy for the car), and a small order of Cajun fries. I waited a little too long for the amount of customers in the place, got my drink and food and left. The fries were lukewarm and the Burger was unseasoned, but something about the food makes me want to try this place again, maybe not so close to closing time.

So disappointed. If your going to specialize in one thing, it better be great, not good. Five guys has you beat in your own category. Heck portillos has you beat too. It's starts with the bun, looks like a generic bun from your local grocer. Mass produced burgers, instead of made fresh to order is what your lacking. Spent $32 on three burgers, one large fry and three drinks. There won't be a next time. On a positive note, staff was friendly, place was clean, the fries are where it's at, especially the Cajun.

  • Jay W.

Well, that was a great burger. I had the Hawaiian burger, and who would have thought pineapple on a burger. It was very good. And enough fries for two or three people. They did not have a Gluten free option for Tosca, but when I called ahead to check, I was told that she could bring in her own Gluten free bun. All in all, it was great.

My husband adores this place so we have been here four times in the short time they've been open and I keep trying different menu items and I think I have finally found my meal. (Yes, I am aware it is a burger place and the menu is basically, well, burgers but hey, bear with me.) The first time we came I had a coupon for a free burger and I got the half pound burger with fries and a milk shake which was all delicious but was WAYYYY too much food and that burger was one slippery devil. The next time I got the third pound, fries and a milk shake. Again, very yummy! However, still too much so I tried the kids meal - kid burger, fries and another milk shake! It is like I was addicted to those milk shakes and they are so amazing but I was getting too full and leaving feeling bloated even with a kid burger. I did however like the kid burger size, just the right amount of juicy burger. Today I had the chicken sandwich, ate some of my husband's fries plus iced tea. The chicken sandwich was just ideal, I felt just the right amount of full. The chicken is fresh with mayo, lettuce and tomato it is one darn good sandwich! Sharing fries here is a must, the small is extremely generous! Sharing fries is kindof against my husband's religious beliefs so if he can handle it, you know it's a plentiful amount. I have one tiny complaint. The iced tea could be better. I know they are brewing it fresh, I saw the brewer but it just didn't taste that fresh. Maybe they are not going through it fast enough or the filter needs to be changed? I don't know but Chipotle two doors down has perfect iced tea so I know it's possible in a fast food place. That would really be my only suggestion, everything else was perfect! Then for dessert, my husband and I split a shake - they put it into two cups for us and it was just what I wanted - I was full but not overly full. The guy who took our order suggested it and I am so grateful. This time we split chocolate, next time we are going to try strawberry. I bet you will have trouble sleeping tonight wondering how that will turn out, ha! I really like the people who work here, the guy who owns/runs it comes out and talks to my husband, the guy who suggested the split shake came out to see how we liked it, they really have the personal touch. I also am so impressed with their investment in the community - they have a board up where they keep track of the boys' and girls' sports teams from local high schools. What a cool and classy idea! They are doing fish during lent so we will have to come back and try that. They serve a nice meal here and no cooking for yours truly so a win/win!

What a excellent place. It's nothing fancy but the Barbeque Burgers Fry's are too die for. Bring your appetite !!! Also has a place to eat outside

This place reminds me very much of a Midwest version of Five Guys. Service: No one was in line, but the place was decently busy. We were able to place our order right away with no problem. The wait: Took about the length it would take a fast food place to procure food, but everything was fresh and hot. Food: Food again reminds me of a Midwestern version of Five guys, it is also a build your own burger with tons of options. Very juicy burger with a plethora of frys. Overall: I give the place a 4/5 only because it didn't blow me away, but I would definitely foresee myself coming back in the very near future.

Figured I would update... My husband and I have gone back to Meatheads many times since this review and it is still absolutely wonderful. Always great service, from everyone. In fact, I would say it's probably the best service I've had at an upscale-type burger joint, period. Always great food. The same manager from my previous post still goes above and beyond. I'm excited to continue to support this place.

Yea probably the best burger I have ever had. The place is always busy no matter which one I go to. Dont forget the chili cheese fries oh my.

Im flabbergasted at the high ratings While the burger was "ok tasting" (To be honest, it tasted the same as a Steak and Shake burger) and the fries were good..but WAY TOO MANY...I paid $10 for that and a drink! If their price was just $2 cheaper it would be really worth it and I'd boost the rating. There are many toppings to choose from and the service and staff was great. Steak & Shake at this price point for..$3.99 for a burger and fries and extra for a drink will STILL have you able to put some gas money in your tank and enjoy good tasting food...which don't get me wrong Meatheads is still leaps and bounds better than Smashburger and 5 Guys.

The service was great. My first time here and they explained items well. When i was done with meal they even came and cleaned the table. The meat on the burger was Devine. Also the blu cheese was awesome. Now the bad. Terrible loud music. Dining experience was not relaxing with the blaring crappy music and the uncomfortable bench seating. The seasoned fries were way to salty. The bacon on the burger was 85 percent fAt. They charge way to much. 75 cents for bbq sauce? McDonald's is free. 2.00 for a diet coke? Wtf? My prediction is 18 months n closed.

The food is fresh, fast and consistently great. Burgers and fries (both Cajun and regular are enough for 2) are made to order. Fries are fresh cut. The salad with crispy chicken is my favorite thing. It's huge, and I sometimes order extra chicken so I can take half for lunch to work the next day. So good. The best thing about this place is the people who keep it running like a top. We go out often, and never encounter such kind, genuinely friendly service. The employees (and manager) will stop at your table at least once while you are there to make sure all is well, or just to say "hi." This isn't just because we are regulars. They do this for everyone. The place is really clean, including the bathrooms. Meatheads does everything so well. Wish more places would encourage their employees to treat customers with this kind of respect.

I liked everything about this place. I love burgers and they have great big sloppy ones on great buns. The fries are thin and crispy with a bit of skin and just the right amount of salt. Together with a diet coke (of course) they make for a great meal. It is expensive but worth it, especially as we had a coupon for a free one that we signed up for on their website before they opened. I am glad to have an "upscale" hamburger place in Frankfort. Meat and lots of it, what's not to love?

Meatheads is okay, if you ask me. For the price of the fast food burger that I ordered, I expected something amazing. Sadly, I received something dripping with grease that was just okay. The ranch bacon sauce that I had was good, though it cost extra. As for the fries, I'm not a fan of the skinny fry style, but setting that aside, they were just average tasting as well. I had to wait about 10 minutes for my food, which was fine because everything was cooked to order and during a busy lunch that is to be expected. I go back with co-workers who are obsessed with the place (which I totally don't get. But I would never go here on my own.

Everything on the menu is delicious from the burgers, chicken, and the fries. Meatheads definitely has become my go-to burger joint in the area. But this place really impressed me when this one time, they had my sisters order wrong so she called up to let them know and they offered to deliver her correct order. Within 10 minutes, they showed with a fresh bag of Meatheads. I was shocked that a restaurant would do that but they did, and they'll continue to get my family and my business for years to come.

It's our local burger go-to. Better quality than five guys and they have the ketchupino we love. Burgers, hotdogs, fries, all good. Kids meals are not cheap (decent size tho) includes milk or juice and carrots or Apple sauce for sides if you don't want to give them fries. Tried a grilled chicken sandwich for a change last week and it was amazing.

Amazing burgers. Good prices. Great personal service. Several options, but not too many that you can't decide. My low carb meal was very well executed, as was my husband who enjoyed his burger with a bun and fries. I appreciate that the side salad wasn't just lettuce and dressing. Before today, I hadn't heard of them. But as we were traveling, we came upon this place. Now I don't know how I will live without them since there aren't any near we live.

Went for a quick dinner last night and the place was busy. We ordered and sat down after pouring our drinks. A couple minutes passed and my chicken sandwich arrived along with the order of fries we were going to share. The server said my wife's food would be out in a minute. Half a minute later, the owner came to the table and apologized for the delay, explained that the chicken hadn't been cooked at the same time as mine and gave us a card for a free sandwich on our next visit. We hadn't complained, he just realized our order was not complete when delivered to the table and "made it right" by apologizing and offering a freebie on our next visit. Great business practice! Food is fresh and the service is exemplary. I know it's just a burger joint but I will return often as they know how to run a business.

These burgers are the type of burgers you need and want when your hungover. The are delicious. I get the double Hawaiian burger and Cajun fries. The fries are very tasty. It is a semi quick food place that takes about 10 mins to cook the burgers for you get them hot and fresh.

HUUUUGE portions!! I had a 1/2 lb. burger, and an order of Cajun fries. . I left about a 1/ 4th of the fries. Really good food.. But a little pricey. $12.00 for a burger, fries and drink.

Good food terrible service. Took over 40 min to just get a burger and fries and chicken tenders. Never going there again

We had Meatheads last night. My only complaint was the price. For example, cheese is an extra dollar which seems fairly absurd. The food was delicious, though! My kids enjoyed it as well. Great food, just expect to pay big money for it if you want more than just a plain burger.

Good burgers.. A little slow service wise...but it was lunchtime, love that everything is made fresh, wish they would add onion rings or onion straws. If you like smashburger you'll love Meatheads! One tip for Meatheads manager...turn the music down a few levels

Yea probably the best burger I have ever had. The place is always busy no matter which one I go to. Dont forget the chili cheese fries oh my.

First time here. Nothing special about this place. Looking at the meat in my burger, all I saw was a flat, thin, tasteless piece of meat. The fries were nothing special and kind of tasteless. Big money for nothing better than a Wendy's style experience.....sorry to Wendy's!

Great burger place and better than 5 guys by a long shot, bigger menu great fresh chicken tenders and bbq sauce.

  • Chris B.

I am so impressed!! The food was great, the price was right, and the service was outstanding! This place really knows how to handle food allergies too. My daughter is allergic to both gluten and dairy, and they were extremely well informed and willing to accommodate! I'll be a regular at this place for sure!

REALLY???

Bland Bland N more Bland! Service is great but you can't get off on solely good service. The burger was almost like steak and shake's flat patty, however the seasoning was way off. I'm not sure if its because of the whole natural burger thing that they are serving caveman meat, but I never went back. The fries were good, oh and the cool soda machine which allows you to choose a variety of pop. This is one of those burgers that needs all the trimmings due to its "animalistic" taste.
