Went here for the first time & the food was to die for! They have good service & their food tasted fresh and delicious. Their prices are cheap and I got a decent amount of food per plate I had ordered. If you're not a fan of spicy food or you don't like it to be too spicy, you can request the amount you want, how great!! I recommend this restaurant if you're sitting at home and too lazy to cook. They deliver & their food comes out quick!!

I really fell in love with the freshness of the food. We ordered the dinner servings and my boyfriend and I thought It was very delicious. I'm the type to try and find something wrong with food however, no complaints here.

Only a few tables, but very friendly service and great food, especially for the price! Definitely a place to come back to again.

We decided to try this new place in town, we got chicken fried rice, beef with broccoli, egg foo young, egg rolls and shrimp fried rice.. we spent about 50 dollars on garbage!! Worse food I ever tasted and I love chinese food. The beef was chewy, the rice was soggy and over cooked and the egg foo young was a ball of mush. Don't waste your time or money ordering from this place, we will never eat there again..best Chinese food my butt!

Ordered from this place, this is the second time. I like the food because it reminds me of the Chinese restaurants where I moved from. Have to say, it is a winner in my book so far.... we ordered dragon and phoenix, hs mei fun, egg rolls, and sweet and sour chicken. It was decent to say. The chicken was... Chewy. but ok. We reheated the rest another day. Reheating chinese food on the stove.. is f....... delicious(better than eatting it when you bring it home). Will bring further updates in the future.

Went in today for lunch and they raised their daily special to $5.25. Don't know if it is a weekend rate and it is $4.75 during the week or not. Either way though, even at $5.25 it is a steal. Really good food!

You know what they say about "you get what you pay for," well this is true with this place. Got the general taos chicken lunch special + egg roll. The chicken was grissly and the egg roll was 99% cabbage and tasteless. The fried rice was ok. The little restaurant was very clean & the guy behind the counter was very nice. Unfortunatly, the food will keep me from coming back.

We moved from the Detroit area, so it is a process of trial and error when it comes to food. We tried China King and we have been eating there for almost two years now. The food is great, $18.00 for General Tso dinner & quart of chicken fried rice. Food is always good, and the staff (orginally from Michigan) are super friendly. We have never had anything but quality food here, and have never been disapointed. ENJOY

My hubby & I were excited to see a new Chinese place open in the area. The menu seemed standard & prices relatively cheap. Disappointing! Hubby had Mongolian Beef & his dinner was more onion than beef. I had the Sesame Chicken, it was very chewy. I spent the night in the bathroom with food poisioning after eating it - it was horrible. We. Will. Never. Eat. Here. Again. You've been warned!

Highly recommend China King. We eat there once every two weeks and everything we have had has been excellent. The owners have gotten to know us and their service from the first visit on has been fast and very pleasant!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
